volume will take care of the small down gap. May even break the magical 1.50 before the end of the day
lol - I was looking for that post and here it is
Thanks to Rawnoc, the most knowledgable JBII investor...

JBII = THE NEXT KIOR ?!??!!?
If JBII were valued like KIOR, JBII would be over $10 per share. Investors and Wall Street are so drooling desperate for a viable alternative fuel, they currently value KIOR with a market cap of near $800 million. If JBII were to trade with a similar valuation, it would be at $10/share.
KIOR, let's review.......
KIOR uses a catalyst to convert $70/ton biomass to petroleum in-spec fuel
JBII uses a catalyst to convert $0/ton plastic into petroleum in-spec fuel
KIOR trades over $7.00 with over 100 million shares outstanding.
JBII trades barely over $1.00 with less than 100 million shares outstanding.
KIOR has been at it since at least 2007 but ran into delays. Zero revenues so far.
JBII has been at it since 2009 but ran into delays. Hundreds of thousands in revenues to start.
KIOR is about to finally launch their 1st plant commercially after solving their petcoke fouling problem.
KIOR claims 20% higher yield per day with petcoke fouling solved.
JBII is in launch and growth phase for their 1st plant commercially and is solving their petcoke fouling problem.
JBII claims 20% higher yield per day (in the form of up time) with petcoke fouling solved.
KIOR has 101% of its float owned by reporting institutions and mutual funds.
JBII has little to none of its float owned by reporting institutions and mutual funds.
KIOR pays for its feedstock (estimated to start at $70/ton.)
JBII doesn't pay and has never paid for its feedstock.
KIOR claimed cost to produce at $1.80/gallon cost (or $75.60/barrel)
JBII claims cost to produce at .24/gallon (or $10/barrel)
KIOR plants are estimated to cost $350 million each (comes out to around $200,000 per ton/day rate)
JBII processors cost under $1 million (comes out to $21,000 per ton/day rate)
KIOR yield expected around 2.2 barrels per ton of feedstock.
JBII's yield is 5 to 6 barrels per ton of feedstock.
Imagine JBII cash flow positive and having 101% of its float being bought up by institutions and mutual funds with the price and market cap a tiny fraction of KIOR.
Will we close above the magic 1.50 level?
I believe you're right
don't remember seeing this one posted - nice remainder in any event.

$JBII - “Rocket Ship” Breakout Mode
Posted on Jan 30 2013 by BullWarrior
You hear and read about it all the time, "stock (enter ticker symbol here) is on the verge of breaking out" or "stock (enter ticker symbol here) is just beginning a breakout". While many times this may indeed be the case, very few times do these turn into "rocket ship" breakouts.
Don't get me wrong, there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with a "normal" breakout. If you're only going for homeruns ("rocket ship" breakouts) then you're not going to last long as stock, option, commodity, etc. trader. There is no shame in nickel and diming the market for 5%, 7%, 15%, 8% or whatever type of gains you are looking for. Every once in a while though a breakout occurs that makes the previous mentioned gains look like drops in the bucket.
This week, $JBII is providing traders with a "rocket ship" breakout. I don't own any shares of $JBII, but regardless, these types of chart set-ups and breakouts are still fun to talk about. Check out the chart below!
I should note that at the time of this writing, the market is still open, so who knows, this chart may continue to go higher, but for the sake of the article, it's already gone high enough to provide me with the example.
The first thing to note is "rocket ship" breakouts don't happen overnight. You can see that $JBII shares hit that resistance trendline on five different occasions before finally being able to push through at $.83. To use an overused analogy, you want the chart to become coiled up like a spring so that when resistance are finally broken, the "pop" is that much more powerful. This chart provides a perfect example of that.
Second, check out that volume bar on the initial break! That's what you want to see. As I say in many of the videos I do, "the more volume on the break, the more confidence you can have in the break". Once again, $JBII is providing us a perfect example of that.
Finally, the question that I'm sure is on your mind, "What separates a "normal" breakout from a "rocket ship" breakout?" Although there is no definitive answer to this, for $JBII it became evident this was the case when the price smashed through the always important 200-SMA. If this was just the basic/normal breakout, the Bears would have rejected the price at the 200-SMA and the chart would have then needed to consolidate some. Not the case here though. The Bulls went cruising on by this simple moving average.
If you played this one. Congrats! That's really the only thing that can be said.
If you're like me and did not play it, then do what we're doing and chalk it up as solid 'real time' learning example of "what" we need to be looking for as traders.

no it isn't. yet
jbii
hold long and strong - go jbi
Nothing new on that old case - lol perhaps that will be a dismissal as well.
a company like JBI is as rare as Pancake Tortoises , Borneo Short-Tailed Pythons and Black Headed Pythons - no where to go but up from here.
same here Commando - thanks for the update - awesome!
can you show us?
The L2 bids
This SEC issue is as far behind us as when I moved to Florida from New Jersey back in 92'. My job as an environmental chemist tells me that this technology is long overdue and will work as described.
I suspect that Baldwin has settled and JBI isn't about to include an ex-employee settlement details in a press release.
No matter what JBI does it's never good enough. They'll always be something else that investors want done yesterday. Sad really, especially since JBI is moving this new technology along at breakneck speed compared to anyone before them.
I commend their efforts. The JBI team works day and night - sometimes without sleep all for the benefit of shareholders. It is evident that there is a concerted effort to try and stop JBI. We'll all find out one day and we'll wonder how they were able to knock down every roadblock set in their way.
click on the chart above
I know your math is way off (I'll explain in a later post)
I find it funny how those wishing JBI not succeed interpret everything that management says or does in the most negative way, making wild assumptions along the way. They made a statement about ordering parts and it was assumed that those parts were never going to be used in the new plant. They then say that those parts can never be used to assemble processors 4, 5 and 6 when there is no reason to assume anything different.
How do you know its the same group and not another group of PIPERS?
and to think they only have 2 operational machines that pay all their expenses - wait till they have 10 up and running.
why - you rather that plastic go to landfill.
The next level being $0.50 above the current price perhaps even by the end of month.
Shareholders are not interested in anything expect P2O. No one cares about old businesses, which were, at one time, thought to be needed as part of the business plan. Evolution resulted in that plan being changed. Genius eh?
Absolutely and a great idea - evolution baby - saving transportation costs by being able to sell direct from the plant - Genius, simply Genius. I expect the storage site will be needed when 5 processors are humming in Niagara.
are the buyers those pesky whales again or are they the various buyers?
Still cutting thru the red tape at RKT. In the meantime may as well get CFP in Niagara - wise ah - someones thinking.
I agree but guessing 5.
Could be - they need to pay for the capital expenditures.
what if ... they move into an existing building.
parts ordered and being delivered and money in the bank.
The money is not for running the business it's for massive roll-out
how can you make a direct statement like that - Can you provide any proof of what you said?
Wonder how many more investors have signed up?
I'll admit that the SEC allegation filing is largely fiction any one else willing to admit that?
I wonder what the chances are of becoming a millionaire when JBI becomes CFP and then profitable (which I suggest will be only 4 operational machines). They're working on 3 and appear to have ordered parts enough to assemble many more.
no - 100,000 of your dollars to 1 of mine.
I'll take those odds - where do we lay our bets.
