FAS and S&P Futures Down in after hours trading.
How many other banks or investment firms are under investigation?
PS:
My intraday model does not exactly follow a 30 min chart; rather it contracts and expands around that figure depending on various factors.
I trade most but not all signals. Depends on what else is on the agenda for my day.
;)
FAS: Trending Down from about 1437 (NYT).
The HPQ-MSFT tablet is a prototype, not in the consumer market at this time.
BTW: Some AAPL App developers are doing very well with their cuts from the iTunes sales.
As you've probably noticed, FAS has been intraday Up since the opening.
Slowing some now. . .as it makes a new local high.
While still way ahead, AAPL is more vulnerable now with HPQ owning PALM and WebOS than when PALM tried to go it alone.
WebOS is a solid system than needs (a big need compared to AAPL and iTunes) more Apps, money, vision and management.
Let's see what HPQ does with WebOS. One question: Will it appear on the Slate or a similar device?
The big loser here, IMO, is MSFT, likely to be phased out of HPQ's smaller and innovative devices, phones, tablets, etc.
$SPX: Daily Trend is Down, 4.27.2010.
One hour later and FAS whips. Down.
Flat until later, maybe a position after Goldman grilling.
FAS: Intraday Up since 1300 (NYT).
I'm expecting a whip. Let's see if it happens.
FAS: Down continuing.
At this early stage in the questioning Goldman does not look good. Evasive. Sales tactics talk.
Portugal debt downgraded by S&P.
Darkness. . .
FAS: Intraday Down since opening.
Goldman's Fab and CEO answer questions tomorrow.
How many lawsuits will they have from customers? How many others in their industry play the same game? There's more than one team in the NFL.
Life With The iPad: Enterprise Ready
"Apple's iPad isn't a replacement for anything -- not for an iPhone, iPod, nor a laptop PC. But as a mobile personal productivity device, or for a short business trip, it might be all you need."

FAS: Flat, no position intraday, perhaps short later.
FAS: Intraday Model exits at the close. No position.
Don't stop there: It may make 7 (come 11)!
FAS: Intraday Up shortly after 1230 (NYT).
The WolframAlpha App ($1.99) is useful for pulling together a bunch of financial/performance data for companies, e.g., check "Apple computer" or other favs.
Well worth the price, IMO.
Error: It should be FAS Down shortly after 1330, not 1430 (NYT).
FAS: Down shortly after 1430 (NYT).
A standard question: Will it whip?

FAS intraday Up from about 1400 (NYT).
Just got back, was away most of day.
I doubt if this pullback is over; of course, I don't know that for a fact, since I cannot see the future.

FAS: Daily Model is trending Down.
A question for next week, of course: Will it whip?
Or, is this the end of the Bullish move that started in March 2009 . . . or just the start of a significant pullback from the rise that started in February 2010?
Although a directional change may come early next week, for today, $SPX Daily continues Up. The market started a recovery after about 1230 (NYT).
FAS intraday (30 min chart) continues Down; a fine day for the Bears and a terrific week for my Trade Trend Intraday Model.
My generous definition of an $SPX whip is a double change in direction within 3 market days or less, e.g. Up and then Down (again) inside 3 market days. There have been two of those in the last year; one in each 6 month period.
