MrPlum, we can watch together for the big day of ITKG. I hope your investment goes well for you.
I hope the revs are there boomer. But you have to admit ITKG has been crawling, walking, etc for a long time now and still no revs. No end product.
Doesn't it make sense that if they really have the goods/potential then why do a bunch of guys on a stock board no about it but no BIG DOGS are on the list of contracted names??
ITKG may be successful someday, but I think there is still time to be part of something big after we have something to hang our hats on.
I hope this doesn't anger you boomer, but I want an exchange of idea, that's all. I hope you make a bunch of money. I have owned ITKG two different times and will stay on the side lines for now and watch for an end product/big dog player.
Can anyone point to revenues that ITKG has generated?
Keith seems to be a bit conservative in his guidance. Has this been the case all along as I have not been here as long as others? Maybe this approach is why some of you say HMGP sometimes acts more like a bigger player.
I figured MM had a window of time to play his game. Thanx lowman.
Thanx for the lastest posts lowman. Good reading!
If I could make a simple observation. In theory, what ever a MM does on one side of the action he/she eventually has to nullify that action with action on the other side of the market he is making in oder to have balance at the end of the day or period?
If he never makes this balance would he run the risk of "fails to deliver"?
Hope that makes sense. lol

Does having a dividend attached change the way a MM can manip with NSS?
Interesting jimwj. Some think ISRG is a little high at these prices. I've owned ISRG two diff. times but not at present.
It's possible ISRG needs to grow into it's current value,(no doubt it will), but if a buy-out does come along then that's a horse of a diff. color. GE was also a rumored buy-out as you probably know jimwj.

Can abuse of naked-shorts by MM be spotted?
Didn't Peter Lynch call it de-worsification when companies buy assets for the sake of buying assets? Or something like that.
I owned a relativily small co. that paid a dividend and a fellow poster made the same comment as to a co. that pays a divy because they don't have a better place to put it.
DWP, you have good writing skills. Thanx for the educative bits.
You too lowman, I don't care what everbody else says, you guys are alright. LOL
Is educative a word? LOL

I also like the solar play. Maybe I'll add STP to my watch list.
thanx

I was at .05 and just filled. I'll send them over on PM lowman.
Works for me. LOL
I think your worth it too lowman but you forgot to mention the little BMW convertible on your list of demands.
I agree IHDR. I like TD also for the most part. I spoke to a rep. and he agreed to drop my complaint in the suggestion box for what ever that's worth. LOL
I also got in @ .05 this morning, only problem is I wanted 150,000 shares and got a partial fill for 10,500. Shoulda had it at .051 or something. Oh well
IHDR, I also have TD but opened an account at Scottrade as they will allow this trade, but they charge the usual $7/trade plus 1/2% of the principle for penny stocks. Others here have brokerages that do not have an extra fee for penny stock and maybe they could offer some choices for you.
later IHDR,

I read a long time ago that a low-volume pull-back can sometime indicate an impending run up.
Have any others ever heard of this before?
Another advantage of having two seperate brokers is that when one has problems, ie: Scottrade's streamer is down at present, I can still go to TD.
I have a .05 order in and may raise later.
mornin' all,

Something to add about institutional ownership for what it's worth. I am a member of an investment newsletter and one of the things they mention when looking at a stock of interest.
Institutional ownership over 30% is considered a possible negative but I don't think they meant by any means that this is a stop-flag, just one of many components to weigh with other charactoristics of the stock.
IO may be less of a problem for more experienced people, (myself not included), because they might have a better chance of recognizing a manipulitive play by an IO.
ie: slamming, etc.
I'm working off memory so please slice and dice this post if you like. I'm not afraid of being corrected by one of the more knowledgable posters here.

Couldn't say.
Not sure. They just mentioned that they made a small run and were planning on shipping if memory serves. You could probably go to their web sight and either read about it under press releases or call the IR and asked them for sure.
Hi newpontiac. Don't know. They already mentioned producing and plans to ship a small first run a while back.
Do you have knowledge of larger shipment to come by years end?

Volatility Average (20 days)? xxxx
Should this be used in choosing a buy/sell price?
I have 3 accounts. Two with TD, one regular & one Roth. Now one with Scottrade. Ammo should be in Scottrade sometime this morning if all goes well.
I just logged on and see that HMGP is up.
Really just wanted to be prepared for a possible trade that TD won't allow me to make. But I hadn't considered the other uses you pointed out. Thanx brikk. I kind of did want a brokerage account where I could rock-out a little bit and treat the other account with a more conservative philosophy.
LOL. So, saying that a convertible debenture is a "weak link" is an understatement I take it?
Amen. There is no substitute for experience either cause now I have a little and already have learned some nice lessons about patience and also got lucky and didn't get hurt much learning that lesson.
I also made a call to TD and asked them how I could transfer some of my funds to my new Scottrade account that I opened today. Now I have two brokers.
Investopedia says debentures are bonds with no collateral. Is that to say a convertible debenture would be viewed as a weak link.
Actually I have experienced that about 3 times over the last couple of months. Like you said, if I had just waited as there was no particular reason to jump in when I did, and sure enough, down it went. I managed to recover as it came back up and then some but a little patience would have fetched some real nice profits.
thanx lowman
Sounds like a fair answer. No need for me to make it any tougher than it is. LOL I've heard a lot of people talk about staging their way into a stock but I usually just make up my mind and then follow through with what I want at a price I want.
lowman ,You mean there's no pixie dust or anything? LOL
plasti
You guys are making me hungary. Later!
What a great post rocky. Really made me think!
plasti
What's a good buy-in point for tomorrow? Anybody!
Got a couple questions for you lowman.
#1) When it comes to building a position do you use any particular
% amount of the whole for each buy-in?
#2) Is there anything one should know about placing a buy/sell order when trading a pink sheet stock? Or do you simply place a normal day-limit-order once you've determined how much you are willing to pay per share?

Sorry Deann. I thought you were Dean with an extra "n".
Forgive me as my Mamma dropped me on my head when I was born. LOL
I know but you were the one who corrected me, and by the way thanx for that. I figured Deann will see it anyway. But I will cover the base just incase. LOL
I originally thought her name was Dean but used extra "n" for what ever reason. Sorry. Told you I was a Montana hick Tina.LOL
