Just a nit-pick, but Etrade still isn't showing yesterday's new release. Or maybe I'm just blind and don't see it.
Thanks Coach for your insights. The plot continues to thicken...
Very interesting indeed. Man, Lehman got hammered from so many sides. I'm interested to hear the Trustee's line of thinking when more information comes out on that. I also wonder if they were an acting Depositary for bonds like the ADR's we own. Hence "frozen assets" hedgefunds are after. That's why I'm so interested to hear how the High Court in the UK is going to rule in the Oct. 26th case. I believe that ruling is very important to us here. Imo
That's true, but in my thinking, that loot was Lehman's and its kinda like the Consigliere hears the Don is dead and takes some of the money from the safe. I like Lehman's chances in court on that one.
Don't forget JP Morgan Chase stole $17 Billion!!! And NOL $
Thank you Lion, very much appreciated!
Takis, I would appreciate it if you would post your report after your talk with JDB. Like to know what u asked and his response. Much appreciated
I don't see the news release on Etrade. Anyone else see it?
Well, then I missed the momo, cuz I haven't sold one share--to my financial detriment in that I left a good sum of $ sitting on the table. I'm not smart enuff at these things, cuz the 2nd I sell, the opposite of what has happened would occur. History of my familial luck. That said, still up here, but I've said many many times, I'll hold, add when I can, and take things as they come. Its all I can do. Sometimes I wish I would of sold and got back in, but that's life. Time will tell. Besides, if things in our economy and monetary policy continue, our $ is gonna be worth squat anyway, lol. If the pps gets too much lower, the company's equipment will be valued more than the market cap again! Unreal
Tell us how you really feel lol
Mm's consistently fill orders below the bid cuz they suck and they can lol. I know its frustrating and gets old really quick. Look at the 100-250 share trades on other Lehman's that take pps's down or up 50-100% Who makes 6, 10, or 15 dollar trades? I really really really hate it, am fed up by it, but....not selling one iota. Stay strong!
Wow. I didn't know we opened at .011. Talk about a gapper! How quick was that shot down. I looked at about 9;37ish and pps was at .0087. Thanks 4K
Well, I can't answer the why, but like you, I hope to see them soon. Then we can move forward and deal with the next set of issues some have. IF we are all in this with success of the company and our holdings in mind.
Agreed. Don't mean to sound like a broken record, but man, a year is truly such a short period of time. We should know a helluva lot by then.
Thank you for your response. I try to base my excitements and feelings about EXPH based on what is communicated by the CEO, particularly the latest CC. I too look forward to learning more about those meetings and can't wait to hear more updates, and a released NDA or two. The stated 40% potential net profit margins of ETC make this company well worth the wait. On the 16 or so that hold 90% of the O/S, I hope that's the case, and if it is, then some entities will have some serious splaining to do.
4K, God bless ya! How confident are we of the # of folks that hold 90%? Keep up the good work! Patience IS a virtue.
Lurk, you have nothing to fear man. Call the guy and just talk. What would it really hurt? And when you do, tell him once we get to $20mil net profits in a couple years,(no divy of ETC) we'd like that 1:3 r/s in conjunction with the earnings announcement so I can quit my job! $20mil/333.3 mil O/S = .60 X's 5-10 P/E = FAT LOOT!!! The above would be my long term strategy using guidance from CC about potential new product Rev's (net profit rev's) Wishful thinking, yes, but that's what I'm holding long term for. All just my opinion.
Thanks Gambler, just curious about the meetings. I'm sure we'll find out soon enough. Have a good one
I was also thinking that some who own some Wamu are worried that a likely judgement against Bank of America in Lehman's favor might hurt them a tad. Just a thought...
Would that be the new "painting and staining room" for ETC products?!? How large of a room would you say it is? Any indications on how their meetings last week went?
Good point. Can't be spooked by these moves. Look accross the ADR boards today. Jumping all over the place. A hundred share trades, a few nibbles here and there, its so blatantly obvious. Today's J trading is no different. We r a ways out from our happy goals, but we'll get there, imo. They aren't getting my shares, well at least none under $5-$10 lol
Nice to see you 5* Welcome back from your hiatus.
Gamb, may be it would be apt to remind/inform some how much displays(regular and high end) go for. Then they can multiply an educated guess by 10,000, figure in the 2.5 loads per day--into 2010, and also the Stanley initial 350K order, and oh yeah, FoodLion--which is still in play at a slower timeframe, but in play nonetheless. It would be appreciated.
Indeed. Every company has a 2-5 year plan. But all is per company guidance. It's simply a waiting game. We KNOW company is profitable, has fortune 500 clients, no toxic financings, loans chartered through major banks--who do their own thorough DD--a proprietary product in its infancy, recurring revenues, continued orders from those major fortune 5 companies, and is but a few years old. Looks like a sound future to me, barring old man Murphy showing up like in 2008 for ALL companies. Way down the road, maybe yes, but a year or two is a short time period all in all. I have the patience and no need for an influx of cash, so I will be here for the long run, good or bad. Good luck my friend.
How many NOL $'s does the company have? I know its been posted or stated at some point, just can remember how much and when it was? Anyone?
Thanks for the info. Don't know what to think about that. I'm not smart enough to play that one out on paper. I guess I'd prefer to have ETC with EXPH. I'll have to crunch some #'s later. IF ETC does the rev's the company thinks they will with the stated profit margins, not sure which route would be advantageous. Again thanks for the info.
Agree 100% 4K. Anything to get off these penny's. As u, I am more than patient to wait it out. One has to see the forest from the trees...
Like I said, year or so down the road. I think the divy is preliminary thinking. Not sure how they work relative to financials of the whole or each subsidiary. IF they did the profits they expect thru ETC into 2011, I personally wouldn't do a divy, if the whole's rev's would be separate. But I would only do the r/s in conjunction with the anouncement of those hopeful profits. But again, way down the road, have to see if ETC catches fire eoy 2010 and 2011. Any accountants here know how divy's-split off's work?
I don't disagree that they stink at all. Only thing is if you want to uplist to AMEX, which I believe is the goal, you have to reduce O/S. Notice I said eoy 2010 on into 2011. If they incur the rev's from ETC they believe they will (with 40% profit margins), 20-30 million $ profits will make no difference about an r/s, only to make you more $. E
But I am getting ahead of myself, just playing out a possible scenario. As said IF revenues warrant it. 20mil profit divided by say 333,333,000 O/S is much much better than the same at 1bil. Down the road of course. Not gonna stay at 1bil O/S forever. IMHO. Go EXPH!
I would look for a small r/s eoy 2010, going into 2011, reducing to around 300mil. ONLY if rev's warrant it. Uplist from there. Patience is key. A year is a short period of time. 2010 guidance and results of meetings with large retailers about ETC will hopefully be extremely pleasing. All imo
I'm with ya. We shall see. Good luck.
I think u r correct in that assumption. It's obviously all in how things are worded. Bottom line, you got ur Q2, the company IS PROFITABLE, and will be so going forward. You always like to point out JD's guidance, well 3rd and 4th Q's are when the company makes the bulk of their earnings. Next is 3Q, hopefully then some of the insider filings you've been harping about, then guidance at the shareholder's meeting about 2010, then 4th Q. So hopefully you will have ALL the things you've been asking for, then I am interested to hear your next set of complaints, lol. I will give you credit though, you ask good questions, but you never seem satisfied and something tells me you never will be. Am I wrong? God bless ya, Lurk.
I believe that to be so. I'm pretty convinced that the J's, C's, D's and the other Depositary Receipts were heavily owned by Hedge Funds and ther investment banks. Relatively few shares, high $ trading levels/face amounts. I like our chances more every day. Particularly if these assets were frozen during the collapse. BT-British Telecom, what other names are out there? Do you know if Depositary Receipts are represented by one company or are they grouped?
Thanks Coach. Will wait it out. Look very forward to seeing the #'s. I still feel the LBHI High Court case today and 2morrow could be very important to the ADR preferreds. Not worried about the pps's on these, I think you are exactly correct in your thinking. Looking for good things to come. Still trying to find out the foreign companies the J's, C's and D's are related to.
Manipulation is right. Sickening. In 2 days hopefully the High Court will decide one way or another. We'll see how trading is affected then. Keep the faith as Coach says.
My hope is that BT telecom is one of the Depositary share companies we may be holding. Also, the idea of shares frozen, is also another hope of mine that the ADR's are in that boat.
Placed SEC inquiry. Not 2nd. Damn auto-spell lol
My challenge has been and continues to be finding out what foreign entities the ADR stocks, J's, C's, D's, F's, and G's represent. Just thru the nature of what type of securities these are, I have my own questions/theories. I have placed an inquiry with the SECOND, and if I have to I will file a FOIA request. If the companies who issued these thru Lehman via Mellon Bank or other underwriters are still trading in their home exchanges and are still viable companies, then my logic would think that these would have to have some value far greater than current trading prices. With JP Morgan just issuing dividends and reporting sizeable profits on their series J Depositary Receipts, and with European markets resurging and economies turning around, what is the likelihood that the companies related to our tickers are still chugging right along and recovering. It is my mission to find out more about these securities. I understand the pecking order of possible payouts thru the BK, but is it possible that these securities assets were frozen or simply caught up in the whole BK? That's why I am ontrigued by the European arm and the payout scheme proposed by PWC that I believe is set to meet Oct 26. Any thoughts or ideas? Or if I am off base or wrong in my assumptions, please let me know. There are far more knowledgeable peeps on this board than me, so anything would be appreciated. I just cannot fathom why I cannot find out these foreign companies. Best of luck to all.
Right. If I were a "journalist" doing these stories, I would do a breakdown of these "Zombie" stocks, what they are, how they are paid out in BK, a history of other BK's and how they played out. But then again, I'm asking for honest, non-drive-by stories. At least their was a defense of trading BK's in that story, lol
What get's me about these articles is they always referene the commons pps's and no mention ever, that I've seen, about Trusts or preferred's. And they never mention developments and aspects of the BK proceedings.
