We are going to have to expect delays along the way. I don't read too much into them. In a deal of this magnitude, delayed release dates are going to happen. Maybe they are having a slew of their accountants looking over it which is taking more time, who knows. All I know is there many forward looking events in the coming months. It's all good here.
That's pretty much what I gathered from it. The next 3-6 months should be telling, provided deadlines can be reasonably met. These guys are serious pro's managing the largest bankruptcy.
Hoping that the balance sheet is released soon. it will be interesting to see how much the A/L gap has closed and I'm interesting to see what % a "modest increase" in illiquid assets constitutes. The balance sheet ending 11/30/09 should reflect even better on the asset side. I hope the reorg plan due in the latter half of 1st qtr (if that goal is met by A&M) gives us a good
idea of where these Prefd's stand. The plan is to emerge from BK within a 2-year time frame. Though Marsal charaterizes this goal as "nutty" I believe he thinks its possible, otherwsie wouldn't say it. Coming close to that would be great. It's is rather a short time away, relatively speaking. I'm ready for that balance sheet, but I'm not concerned with the delay. It's all good
I believe Preferrd's are equity, not debt.
No thanks. Some of us "longs" are still up 400-500% We'll see better days down the line. I'll just go about my business at my REAL JOB, no offense meant to some, and keep making an honest living like always. I'll just have to look at EXPH and Etc as my 401k.
I don't pity anyone here. Just a sincere few words for honest people that may be feeling down, that's all. Just because its pinkyland doesn't mean we can't have a heart-it is the Christmas season
I'm still confused. Didn't some make 100's of G's on the initial run-up? I'd sure be happy if that was me. Why would I wanna cause such a quagmire now. Just sayin....But, in the end, I don't blame 'em. If I had the shares, u bet I woulda made that kinda jack as well. I just wouldn't act as if I had just been robbed. Seems to me that their "sell-off" was a precipitating factor to what has transpired these lo and dark months. And if JD, insiders, and other large-holding longs didn't sell, do u think they are happy right now? Some cry "conspiracy" when some believe a concerted effort to nss, short, whatever term u want to use. And some are saying the CEO had this planned all along, to shaft investors, and is now purposely dropping the stock pps thru actions to buy lower and shaft again. What a crazy "pink pennyland" we are a part of. Well, we shall soon see who is the 2nd gunman on the grassy knoll. The Divy #'s will clear that up. Keep perspective all. Again, to those who have actually lost good sums of cash, my heart goes out to you.
Certainly glad for that. Hang in there.
Let's not forget that some on here made hundred's of thousands of $'s on this stock. I didn't sell, my choice, but just have to ride it out. Not much u can do. But let's please watch the venting here, especially by those who made those mega $'s. You didn't have to buy back in. Just have some perspective. To those who have LOST serious cheez, my heart goes out to you and I'm sorry for that. GLTA
I agree. Really enjoyed reading that post. Looking 4ward to the newest balance sheet. Things will definitely become clearer over the coming months. After reading over the state of the estate many times, it seems the reorg outline hopefully out sometime in March will provide even more clarity. I'm hoping Mr Marsal can reach his "nutty" timeline for emerging outta this mess. The C/T's and Prefd's are looking really promising given their relatively small share structure. Not too sure about the commons, 659 mil is a lotta shares, but possibly they could see spin-off shares. All in all, love sub .01's preferred's.
Debt free and immediate income producing, sweet. I suspect JD's meetings with retailers about ETC went well.
Interesting article, particularly the italicized part. Just have to add that the reason Lehman wasn't bailed out was Paulson's disdain for Lehman due to his Goldman ties. GM was bailed out to save the unions, Demorat's and BHO's biggest constituency, and to give them control. Creditors got screwed, end of story. Can't wait for the new balance sheet and details of the reorginization plan.
Well, if u got most of your shares at .001-.002 with the potential long-term gains, they are virtually free. At least that's how I look at it.
Question from a know-nothing, with the 10:1 divy of ETC, it is for actual shareholders on that date. What about MM's who hold shares(or do they). They get a piece of the proverbial pie? Again, I don't know much, but was wondering...TIA 4K
Thanks for the confirmation
Why would one invest in a company if they think the CEO is a liar? I can't comprehend
I understand the general point u r making, but its a good idea to release a PR when you gain a new customer, at the least you are publicly acknowledging a new relationship and I'm sure the new customer likes the press. To me its a courtesy and a bonus to update investors (us, errr, some of us), something JD is committed to doing. Doesn't bother me in the least. Just another client and more orders which is more $. Isn't that what its all about??
I guess you just skipped past the part of the PR stating the initial order, production, and likely recurring orders. Ok
That's what I'm talking about. Maybe one of our ADR's is represented by that electric company??
Right on! Good find Coach. Really hope we can see that balance sheet soon!
That is true, but I see this slightly different light. This Lehman Brothers we r dealing with here. A&M and the advisors are getting paid huge money to do this quick as possible, and there are hedge funds and other entities with mega dollars wrapped up in this thing. The key is the European Units, which will take a longer time. Very least, well worth the wait for me. Like my chances. But also, if A=L or close to it, that will help. Throw Aurora in there and I see the effort they are making to maybe come out of BK as something leaner. I think the companies are apples and oranges. Thanks for the advice and your thoughts. Good luck with yours as well.
That's basically my hope. At some point they are going to have to look at the over-the-counter securities. That will be a good day. It will be fun to watch.
I'm curious as what the actual float is for the J's and other preferred's. The spreads would also indicate that the floats are relatively small?
Past Dividends as well
Thanks for the post. I was hoping this would be approved, but we will have to see the next plan. Something needs to get done, otherwise, this could take a very very long time. Oh well, patience will pay off. Thanks Viva
Its nice to have people on the ground like Gambler and now you. Thanks for sharing. I can relate, the enzyme co is literally 2 miles from my home. I'm not invested in it, especially after seeing it in person. Nowhere in the class of EXPH, from the DD around here. Thanks to all.
Exact same thing on the D's. 50K at .15 below the bid. Bastid's, but good tidings?
Yes sir. This mean new new securities or ones created after the original IPO dates? Also, 6K traded at .25 this am then 50K at .15 which was below the bid. Crazy.
Of course I read it, but though in the past JD did pay for Clay's services, he did post some freebie charts for us here. Just wanted to know which was which this time just so certain people don't constantly harp about it.
Clay, were you paid by JD this go around? Thanks much
I'm with you on that
Sure looks like it. I'm ready for some slow, steady, moderate growth as the weeks/months go by. Lots to look forward to, imo
No doubt, but don't assume that ALL here are in this stock. Just sayin, but you are correct
You r right. I should say another recurring order from a big retailer, with more orders expected to come. U guys find fault with that. U don't like recurring revenues and more orders? Is there something wrong with the initial 350K order from Stanley along with MORE orders from them too? Or maybe the 2.5 truckloads per day still occurring and will continue on into 2010? How about the 10,000 fixture order from "one of the world's largest retailers" yet to be named? What about the retailer that contacted the company about their new product that is in ots infancy--whats the problem there? I know the growth of EXPH will take time, but I find no fault with the progress to date. May not satisfy some looking for the quick buck, but to those patient ones, I'm sure they would be satisfied. I don't mind honest questions and fair criticism, but some of what is posted here by a few has too much inuendo and gotcha's for my taste. But hey, I do look forward to them for a good laugh. I think now I can write some of them for those peeps once I read the pr's. Hence, come up with something new or a different angle/tactic so I don't get bored with them. Good luck to you and your other investments.
Looks like another good pick-up for the company. Yet another big name retailer. Yet, some of the same old complaints and repetitively similar posts. Some will never be happy. I try to give some of them the benefit of the doubt, but its starting to seem like no matter what transpires with EXPH, they won't give one ounce of credit. Interesting....Well, at least we now know those shares were BOUGHT, er, acquired, no they were bought. Now, let's ask Clay if he was paid for today's chart and see if we can clear up another. Seems some have a problem with Clay. Thanks for the chart Clay.
Ok. See it now. Had to click on the 26th release to get the last two. My bad. Thanks all
Well, I have one and yesterday's and 2days are not there as of 20mins ago. Not suggesting anything nefarious, I was just curious as to if others had seen it there. 1st time I've not seen this before for me, I'll look again
Once again, this news not posted on Etrade. Why not man?
