Great info. I may not be the sharpest knife in the rack, but I'm smart enough to MM posters like you and a few others here. Keep it coming!!
GLTUA @ ECIG
I was just deferring to the 2 posts that you brought up that were multi years out of date! Past performance is not indicative of future performance, just sayin!
Or any other day of the week, nothing that's said on this or any other forum has ANY sway on the PPS, let's keep it real please!
"First lets start out with "TODAY IS SATURDAY" so no matter what anyone posts here is going to have much immediate sway in PPS"
Ditto! Every trade/investment I make is on a gut feeling. ECIG is in a paradigm shift industry, how can it not make us money if we have the patience to wait for the inevitable? GLTUA @ ECIG
"My initial investment in ECIG was based more on a gut feeling"
While I think VPOR has the ability to hit pennies, your comment isn't a fact. EC*G has current top line revenues of $15m+ a qtr, ergo their premier product F*N is a superior seller in the good ol' USA. The fact they have been taken to the cleaners by mis-management doesn't detract from that fact. (and this isn't just my opinion) However, VPOR could be a superior bet in the near future, (I have a position in VPOR until it hits pennies). GLTUA @ VPOR
Care to give us your thoughts on the filing, MTIA.
Yes, nailed it IMO.
Do you actually have anything up to date on Strong, as in 2015 date wise?
Ever heard of risk reward? Just sayin!
I've got an idea where they can put their posts, lol.
Hey, way ta go!!!
Yep agreed, he has strong vision for the future and with the right financing I expect a decent ROI here. GLTUA @ GNPT
I agree with your assumption, the fully diluted O/S is just over 80m. However, in any event that still makes the MC hugely undervalued and this latest 'cleaning house' 10K/A shows that Dan and Phil have hit the road running, very positive future for us IMHO. GLTUA @ ECIG
Well that's 2 of us, lol. GLTUA @ ECIG
Dya know what a good rate is? Is it single figs or less than 15%? What construes a good rate? I'm asking becuz I don't know. MTIA
Agree 100%, we are (to all intents and circumstances) a new company, we have new management/BOD who are cleaning up the balance sheet and setting wrongs right (see latest 10K/A). We need to focus on Q2/3 to tell us where we're heading cuz that's the future, Q1 will just tell us the bottom's in. JMHO
I would also like everyone to look forward and stop quoting 'pre r/s' figures, WTF does that have to do with where we are now? I couldn't give a flying toss what the pps was 3 minutes ago, never mind a month ago. I'm only worried about where the pps is now and where it's going. JMHO.
GLTUA @ ECIG
I like the way you're thinking, GLTY
I know you can't make an assumption on just hearing an interview but the CEO seems to sound like a straight talking dude who knows exactly where he wants the company to go. There was no 'flash', 'sarky' comments (except by the interviewer) but down to earth talking by someone who's proud to have built what he's done so far. If that makes me naive then so be it but I have a good history of 'trusting my gut' and this falls into that category. JMHO
So you're a stalking nut job?
I can't believe they'll look a gift horse in the mouth. Hope you get it and hope ya do a good job for all of us
Agreed! The news the other day was a game changer, however people wanna look at it. GLTUA @ ECIG
As I understand it, all the old (subordinated) toxic conv debt has been sorted out but there are still non toxic conv notes ie no VWAP term prior to issue, that have been restructured to a fixed price, see below from the PR. If that's wrong can someone please lay it out in layman's terms so I can understand better. JMO
"The Company has also repurchased and retired the remaining convertible subordinated notes, and fixed the conversion price of the remaining notes."
Ok great stuff, I look forward to the dissection of the details of the loan. Many thanks. GLTUA @ ECIG!
About 35m reasons on the bid at '11's saying you're wrong.
Yep you can see that the military would be interested in something like this and also the landing zone could be smaller than one used for helo's, (don't have to worry about rotor space or the wingspan of an unmanned drone). Imagine inserting para medics to remote places etc etc. Gonna be a winner here, and don't forget the Freedom Rotapower engine, just gotta be patient. JMO
Yerboss, putting your CEO head on, could you highlight anything you wouldn't want to see in the details of the loan, that would make you think that 'they dropped the ball here'? Do you have any idea what the current ballpark 'going rate' for interest rates are for a loan of this size? MTIA
Good post, traders provide much needed liquidity into a stock. There are loads of traders who will not touch an illiquid stock and most that I know have a 10% rule, ie they won't commit more than 10% of the 10 day average daily traded volume at any given time. Trading around a core is probably the safest way to trade/invest for the future in equities that have a higher degree of risk (OTC) IMHO.
"This is the stock market and if someone goes long it's at his own risk and usually due to greed when it comes to OTCs. There's nothing wrong with flipping, that's just smart to make money in the stock market. Any prudent trader knows sell high, buy low. Then leave the, freebie/on the house, stocks in and let them go long. It's simple logic if your not greedy. Do this with 4-6-8 stocks and watch your portfolio grow and if they are pennys with long, long potential then you'll may get rich AND have made money in the mean time to pocket or invest in more like ECIG."
Glad to have someone with your experience here, seems we have a board with many experts that can import their knowledge to the benefit of all. GLTUA @ ECIG!
I think we can expect a 'little' further dilution as indicated in the financing deal, "The Company has also repurchased and retired the remaining convertible subordinated notes, and fixed the conversion price of the remaining notes." I take that to mean that the $41m is totaly non dilutive but they have restructured the remaining conv debt (.45 warrants/.75 notes) at an increased fixed price? It just remains to see what that fixed price is?
One more thing that another poster touched on that I think is worthy of note is, this is a senior 36 month SECURED loan, so is this a debt for equity swap, and in addition, is it on a revolving basis going forward?
I guess (like everyone else) we need to see the interest rate and confirmation of the investor/lender group in order to make an informed decision as to how good the deal is. Oh and an ungagged TA that can be contacted directly (instead of going thru Piacente) will certainly calm investor 'red flags'.
In short, I think this will hit a 'double top' pps of $3 by EOY as this is truly a great start to consolidating the balance sheet and increasing shareholder value by a slow and steady increase of revs and controlling operational costs. JMHO & GLTUA @ ECIG
It is when it's positive volume and the pps is moving up! GLTUA @ ECIG
"Largest amount of money changing hands. That's good right?"
Sean, many thanks for that, I hope you'll dissect the details of the loan when it comes out and share with us (me) your thoughts. Is there anything at all you wouldn't want to see in the detail? Do you have an idea of what the current rate of interest is for a loan of this nature?
Everyone's waiting to see the VATS delivered and I can't help thinking something aint right no matter what they say, it's just taking too long. I'm still here because I believe that if they get it we're golden but the longer the silence goes on I think the chances are reduced. JMO
No there is NO news I just have several places to look for a news alert, LOL.
LOL, I've got ETRD Platform and you can put specific stocks in there to give you a heads up about any news, I also have a marketwatch 'favourite' that I keep refreshed cuz last time the shareholder update was only released on Marketwatch I believe. There's also Ihub and Yahoo finance that I check regularly also, so no black art involved just several places that I can check for any NEW news.
LOL, no I have a news alert, as in I've got an alert for news and currently there's nothing to view. Sorry for the confusion.
How do I know what, sorry I'm not sure I understand?
Sorry Master, been playing golf and only just got back in. I have a news alert on my platform but I've stopped following it on a tick for tick basis. UMEWF has either got the VATS or they haven't so I'm just standing by until they produce 'the goods'. GLTY
You very conveniently forgot to mention the ban is for public spaces only, exactly the same for normal tobacco. The ban takes place in 30 days, so your time's off as well.
"The Portland City Council passed an ordinance to ban e-cigarettes in public places Monday night.
The council voted 7 to 1 to ban electronic cigarettes in public places, which means the same laws that apply to other tobacco products will apply to smoking any type of electronic nicotine delivery systems, like e-cigarettes and vaporizers.
Portland is the 275th city or county in the country to make an e–cigarette ban. It takes effect in 30 days."

Good point.
"With the data they record from these boutiques, they will be able to target what the consumer is looking for, by eliminating distribution of an unwanted product"
