Bingo! Just like 95% of the media. No arguments here.
Classic line. I actually heard that clip on the radio, amazing how Lauer seemed to have a very liberal agenda.
bruce,
good question. I am debating whether or not to pull out the cheap share I picked up at the bottom now or if I should hold the until next February next year when we get to drilling.

All,
Have a great weekend everyone. With todays action on RSDS, I should have a few beers to celebrate, however, in light of the increase to A/S, I think I should have a few beers to drown my sorrows. A doubly drunk Labor Day weekend, I am lovin' it!!!
Take it easy boys and girls and see you on Tuesday!

tmcc,
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=22535564
Dude, you should learn to pick up the phone or turn some of that bad energy into productive energy and write an email to the TA or Berman. Oh, wait, you are going to depend on a message board to do your work for you. Very well then, Makes has already given clear evidence in the post linked above. If you don't believe him, call for yourself and get to the bottom of it. DO YOUR OWN DD!
However, to answer some of your questions:
Why EXACTLY was the A/S,O/S increased
Shares=money. Therefore, to get money to buy assets.
What specifically will the funds be used for
exploration costs
How did he pay for a drill ?
I am going out on the limb here, but I am going to say with money or shares. Since in answering your first question i proved shares=money, then it is just money.
How much does a drill cost.
Why do you want to know this? Do you want to know if he got a good deal?
Are these shares restricted.
Call Berman to ask him
What is his salary ????
The number 350k has been floating around, but who knows how much of that he actually is pocketing. This is a valid question.
What is the budget costs other salaries etc
Pinks don't need to report this
Will there be an R/S (YES !)
conjecture. maybe yes, maybe nw. You can decide to take the risk.
Will there be another 504
Maybe, but there is not one going on right now
Will you give a date for geological survey
This was PR'd to be released in Q4
Tell us how and how much you paid for AUMN
Valid question and one I would like to now the answer to.
Admit that-WE Shareholders OWN AUMN -as your PR states
and GIVE US OUR SHARES.
Not necessarily the case. From what we know, yes, this should be our company. However, if Berman did not acquire this using RSDS money, than it is not ours. I think that is why he has kept it a separate company. That is why all the PRs have reverted back to the 254 claims that RSDS holds. I am not happy with this and would like to know all the details about this, so valid question
tmcc, you need to really just chill man and relax. Go have a great holiday weekend and if you can't, I'll have a beer for ya mate!
-faz
Why don't you call him and have him remove the GAG if you think there is one there?
-faz
Guys, you need to relax on this claim that the TA is gagged. I have never had the restricted and the float given out by the TA for RSDS. This is nothing new!!!
Chill out, go have a beer and have a great weekend.
By the way:
osted by Righty:
regarding the transfer agent
Listen up folks, i don't have a clue what msg our moderator is doing here.
I have contacted the TA on several occasions all the way back to february, and they have never given out restricted info or float info.
IN FACT I HAVE NEVER SEEN A TA THAT DOES! THEY ALWAYS SAY TO CALL THE COMPANY FOR THAT INFO!
HERES A COPY OF AN EMAIL FROM FEBRUARY i have edited the beginning for privacy but as you can see they didnt give out that info then so why should they now?
I am not trying to support berman at this point for what he has done, but I feel this excitement over this float info is unjustified. see below
-----------------
The issued and outstanding shares are: 356,382,427
The authorized shares are: 750,000,000
We are unable to release restricted stock information. You will need to contact the company directly for that information.
If I can be of further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me.

I support what Righty is saying 100%. I have spoken a number of times to the TA and each time she has said that both the float and the restricted numbers would have to be from the company.
I am not sure what all the excitement is about.
-faz
TNEN is moving up nicely over the past few days. I can't believe this is due to the PR here. TNEN is notorious for movement prior to the release of news. I think there is still something out there to be released.
Just my thoughts,
-faz
You are correct, however, based on how Berman's recent actions surrounding the increase in A/S, I think it is now clear that his M.O. is to release info when he wants to and for his own reasons.
We have however have been getting a PR every 10-14 days on average. Therefore, following that logic, we should be due a PR tomorrow or on Monday.
Maybe Berman flips a coin everyday to see if he will release a PR. There still is the picture of the stake supposedly showing a 2nd drill hole for the rage claims posted on the official website. I hope that is not the way Berman really wants to tell his share holders that he has received the permit.
Anyway, I will patiently await for news.
-faz
Well, we were not necessarily promised a PR, they did however, say that the permits would be in hand on the 13th of August. They very well could be, however, we won't know until Berman lets us.
-faz
While that would be nice, that is not what politicians live for. They live for power and greed. They would figure out a way to line their pockets if they didn't have pensions or health insurance. Most politicians are rich anyway, so that would mean nothing to them. However, take them out of position after 6 or 12 years, then you might actually get people in there who would want to work for this country. If not, then we at least limit the amount of time they have in there to destroy our country.
-faz
P.S.: I want my money back too!
chronicles,
"I doubt that RB stares unblinking at the stock streamer. But make no mistake, a CEO of a publicly traded company is (or should be) VERY interested in what the stock is doing since it is the primary determining factor of the company's worth, and thus, buying power. When it does come to his attention (if it hasn't already) that no one is interested in owning part of his company, ie buying shares, his ears had better perk up and news begin flowing from his mouth to restore the interest, or he will discover great hardship in obtaining further equipment, licenses, permits, etc. needed to be able to produce income. He will come to realize that WE pissant investors are, in fact, vital to HIS company's future."
I agree that the above statement applies to larger companies and not Pink Sheet stocks. Since there are such a lack in regulation and rules, a CEO need not worry too much about the PPS until it suits his interests. Sure the PPS will tell the companies value, but is that really the case here? Is this company worth just 1.2 million dollars? I have a tough time that this PPS really reflects the value of the claims RSDS is holding. If there is such a thing as good will with companies, then there is certainly bad will, and right now, Berman has a load of it.
I think when Berman truly needs the PPS to climb to suit his needs/master plan, he will take notice in it and take steps in order to effect it. Just my opinion.
I am still long and will wait for results from the drilling.

The Quick Start guide to the Quinn and Rose show.
This is one of the radio shows I got hooked on while in Pittsburgh. Quinn is awesome and the format is perfect. I also like these two because they are far enough off the radar that things don't go to their heads.
http://www.warroom.com/quick_start.php
QUINNs FIRST LAW: Liberalism always generates the exact opposite of its stated intent.
1. We believe the solution to the human condition is Liberty. Three hundred years of the most successful country the globe has ever seen is proof enough. No government program created this country, free people created this country.
2. The unspoken Bush doctrine is this, The decades of the dictators are over. We had a parade of them for a hundred years. They have killed one hundred million of us. We have learned our lesson. UPDATE SINCE NOVEMBER: MAYBE WE HAVENT.
3. America is not an Imperialist nation despite what your professors tell you. We are not shoving our way of life down anyones throats, we are shoving freedom down the throats of tyrants so other people can chose their own way of life. That is the answer to the question "What is the role of the worlds only superpower?".
4. Marxism is the greatest threat to human freedom and growth. It has never worked anywhere. It has been tried, but it is still taught in every college. Its time to drain the swamp of these 1960s reprobates and charge them with selling a defective product. UPDATE: RADICAL ISLAM NOW JOINS MARXISM, AND LIBERALS ARE DOING EVERYTHING THEY CAN TO ENABLE IT. NOW THE MSA IS ON EVERY COLLEGE CAMPUS AND LIBERALS ARE FALLING ALL OVER THEMSELVES TO KOWTOW TO IT.
5. America is not the world largest polluter because a) carbon dioxide is not a pollutant it is plant food. b) In terms of wealth versus tons of pollution we are the cleanest country on earth because we are free and have the disposable income to clean up after our selves; something the vaunted Soviet block never had.
6. The environmental movement uses the environment and animal species as an excuse for putting the means of production (the land) off limits to the American citizen. Putting the means of production off limits to the citizen is the definition of communism. UPDATE: PUTTING GAS AND OIL OFF LIMIITS TO THE CITIZEN IS THE DEFINITION OF INSANITY.
7. We have a highly progressive income tax. The tax code rewards bad choices and punishes good ones. Russia has moved to a 13% flat tax. So we have Karl Marxs tax system and Russia has Steve Forbes. If you dont see a problem here, you are probably a registered democrat.
8. Abortion is the Sacrament of the Feminist Church. It is the ultimate celebration of the separation of a woman from her nature. Feminists like this will go to any lengths to protect this so-called right. There is no abortion argument that is not rooted in feminist rage, personal inconvenience, or self loathing.
9. The fundamental difference between Liberals and Conservatives is - Liberals see every new life as a potential problem and a burden. Conservatives see every new life as a potential source of creativity and wealth. Allow me to elaborate a little bit on that. When your view of your responsibility to your fellow citizen is to take care of them through government planning and government force, every new person born becomes another mouth to feed another person to educate another burden on the states resources. If you are a liberal you believe that resources are limited and there is only so much to go around. You see yourself or government policy as the arbiters of who gets what. A conservative understands that new wealth is created every time human creativity acts on a resource and is unlimited. To a conservative, life is a blessing. To a liberal life is a curse. (Does this clarify their love of abortion and euthanasia?)
10. There is no conclusive evidence that humans have caused global warming. It is the hoax of the century, and it makes a lot of people a lot of grant money. It also makes a convenient excuse for putting a global governor on capitalism to make the world fair for dictators and socialist welfare states. So, why not teach it to our kids and lets pretend that its true? UPDATE: EVEN THE UN IS NOW HAVING DOUBTS AND SCIENTISTS ARE WARNING THAT WE MAY BE RETURNING TO THE MINI ICE AGE OF THE 16 AND 1700s.
11. No-one had ever died trying to paddle a rubber boat from Miami to Cuba.
12. Racial profiling is what groups pejoratively call common sense when they have a problem that they dont want to talk about. When you notice that several Middle Eastern men boarding an airplane are acting strangely, you yank them out of line and your airline gets sued for 1.2 million dollars. You were engaging in common sense, but they say you were engaging in racial profiling. And so racial profiling is what groups call common sense when they have a problem they dont want to talk about. And when they say they do want to discuss it with you they really dont they just want to shut you up.
13. To a Conservative adversity is indistinguishable from opportunity.
14. The United Nations is an expensive farce that allows tyrants to park illegally and pretend that they are legitimate World Statesmen - they are not They are thugs in $4000.00 suits.
15. Wahhabist Islam is a global mental illness. It is a sickness, it is a cancer and it is evil.
16. There is such a thing as Evil, and you cannot negotiate with it.
17. Common sense and government are mutually exclusive. Government is what you do when you've decided that you cant trust the citizen to use their common sense. So, when you as an elitist and one of our betters notices that not all of us out here are perfect, and not all of us make the right judgments about everything, you then impose your bureaucratic rules upon us and we cant use our common sense any more. Dont ever let a politician tell you that he is going to bring common sense to government. The only way to bring common sense to government is to get rid of government and allow people to use their common sense instead.
18. Reganomics is the only economics that works. Lowering tax rates increases wealth to everyone, including the government because there is no limit to wealth. New wealth is created where wealth did not exist before when a human acts on a resource and humans can only do that when they are free. (see: North Korea and Palestine) Taxes are restrictions on freedom.
19. The Second Amendment [to the US constitution] is the essential counterbalance to the fearsome power of lawmaking, and it means exactly what it says. ["A well-regulated Militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed."] If you are a lawmaker and this amendment makes you nervous; good! As long as you stay nervous you have nothing to fear.
20. In our Republic, God is a necessary legal concept. This is not a Democracy, it is a Representative Constitutional Republic and there is a big difference. In case you are wondering why so many of the Socialists out there want God out of everything in our public life there is a real utilitarian reason for this. It is not just that the idea of God makes them uncomfortable personally. God is a major speed bump on their super highway to their super state. Why? Because our founding documents set forth that our rights as humans pre-date the government of men, those rights cannot be abridged (at least easily). They come from God and are inalienable. Drive God out of the mix and rights will flow from government. Once that happens government will alter and abridge those rights because they can. Whether God exists or not he is necessary for the maintenance of freedom.
21. There is no such thing as the separation of church and state. That is a trick to intimidate people of faith. The founders feared a Church of the United States, not a manger scene outside the courthouse or red and green cookies in school. In using this canard as a tool to drive all God centered religion out of public life, the secular humanist actually establishes an official state religion. That religion is Atheism.
22. Rules of war: War is the only effective means for defeating evil.
23. In war there is no such thing as excessive force.
24. Using only the amount of force necessary to win, insures that you will lose.
25. The U.N. does not prevent war. It prevents war from working by stopping it before there is a definitive result. (see: Korea, Israel, Lebanon and Hezbollah) In doing so it invalidates the sacrifices of blood and treasure.
26. You cannot legalize gay marriage because there is no such thing. Its like legalizing the square wheel. There is no such thing as that either. Marriage as a concept was created so as to give a name to an arrangement between a man and woman that has the potential to create the lives of the next generation of citizens. If sex between a man and a woman didnt create the next generation of citizens there would be no need for a word to describe their relationship since civilization would have no interest in it. We would just hook up with each other and when we got bored move on. Gay activists understand this and it explains the headlong plunge into gay adoption as an attempt to legitimize the oxymoron, Gay Marriage.
27. THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT THIS SHOW.
Amazing how two people, who knows how far apart, can agree on something so obvious. Makes you wonder why politicians can't come to the same realization.
I truly think that Washington DC has become like Hollywood, yet they have actual power. That is scary in many ways. There is a bubble around DC where reality is warped and logical, rational decisions are thrown out the window.
Simply amazing.
-faz
I have a sneaking suspicion that you might be on to something. I ultimately think AUMN will come in and swallow up both of them if they decide to take things to the next level...actual mining.
-faz
Just like they would be against dissolving the teachers union. That is really the cause of all of this. Get rid of the union and hold teachers accountable to certain standards or they are fired. That is when you will see true progress in the public educational system.
-faz
utah,
Yep, I believe it was in February. There has been some mention of the CEO telling certain iHub members that the 504 will be done on the 31st. I remain skeptical and will believe it when I see it.
-faz
Two words for you:
TERM LIMITS
We need to get the Ted Kennedy's, Arlen Spector's, and the freaking Se. Byrd's out of congress. Term limits will do that.
Or it could bring a lump of coal. Either way, I have already written off all the money I dumped into this stock. I have come to terms with the risk that this could drop to nothing. I can live with that. If this thing pops on news, I will be happy, if not, I am not going to let it get me down.
-faz
I am not sure he even looks at the quote or the action on the stock each day. If he does, it is probably just a glance. If he truly were interested in the PPS, volume, buying and selling, he would be putting out PR's or being more upfront with the investors.
This could always be a ploy by the management of TRSI and RSDS to drop the shareprice of their stocks prior to the announcement of big results. I would be very interested to see if Berman has been buying shares for himself when they are cheap. Same with the TRSI CEO.
Just a thought,
-faz
I would settle simply for the terms of the Joint Venture.
All of these things could be answered with the website.
-faz
Guess great minds think alike!
Your thoughts are very insightful. Makes me think that homeschooling might be the way to go.

Our Public Schools Are Socialist Schools
By: Joel Turtel
http://www.mykidsdeservebetter.com/unamerican/socialist_schools.asp
Many parents might think it a bit farfetched to compare our public schools to schools in socialist or communist countries. However, if we look closer, we will see striking similarities between the two systems.
In the former socialist-communist Soviet Union, for example, the government owned all property and all the schools. In America, public schools are also government property, controlled by local government officials. In Soviet Russia, the government forced all parents to send their children to government-controlled schools. In America, compulsory-attendance laws in all fifty states force parents to send their children to public schools.
The Soviet rulers taxed all their subjects to pay for their schools. Here, all taxpayers pay compulsory school taxes to support public schools, whether or not the homeowner has children or thinks the schools are incompetent. In the Soviet Union, all teachers were government employees, and these officials controlled and managed the schools. In America, teachers, principals, administrators, and school janitors are also government employees, paid, trained, and pensioned through government taxes.
In the Soviet Union, most government employees could not be fired they had a "right" to their jobs. Public-school employees in America also believe they have an alleged right to their jobs, enforced through tenure laws. As we will see later, in America, it's almost impossible to fire tenured teachers. In communist Russia, competence and working hard didn't matter very much — the government paid most workers regardless of their performance on the job. In America, public-school teachers' salaries depend on length of service competence is irrelevant. In communist Russia, the elite ruling class had estates in the countryside while peasants starved. Here, public-school authorities get fat salaries, pensions, and benefits while our children starve for a real education.
In communist Russia, government control of food supplies created eighty years of chronic famine. In America, one hundred and fifty years of public schools has created an educational famine. Millions of public-school children can barely read while the system wastes twelve years of our children's lives.
Albert Shanker, former President of the American Federation of Teachers, Agreed
Still think the comparison to communist schools is too farfetched? Albert Shanker, late President of the American Federation of Teachers, the second largest teacher's union, once said: "It's time to admit that public education operates like a planned economy, a bureaucratic system in which everyone's role is spelled out in advance and there are few incentives for innovation and productivity. It's no surprise that our school system doesn't improve. It more resembles the communist economy than our own market economy."
Public School Authorities Act Like Socialist Commissars
Finally, schools in some communist countries like China seem to give a better, more disciplined education in the basics of reading, writing, and math than our public schools. International math and reading test-score comparisons often find American kids lagging far behind children from China.
But what values do Chinese communist schools teach their children? Here is another apt comparison between communist schools and our public schools. In both cases, either a central or local government controls the curriculum and the values it chooses to teach its students. The Chinese government can and does indoctrinate all school children with its communist ideology and loyalty to the communist leaders.
Similarly, in our public schools, left-leaning school authorities control the curriculum and the values they teach our children. In many public schools, values-clarification programs and distorted American history courses in many public schools now indoctrinate our children with anti-parent, anti-religion, and anti-American values. In both communist schools and our government-controlled public schools, parents cannot (with a few exceptions) stop school authorities from teaching harmful or immoral values to their children.
Question --- Do socialist, compulsory, government-controlled public schools belong in America, once the land of the free?
A lot of chatter now about Fred Thompson making things official. I have been over to the website http://www.imwithfed.com and he seems to be one of the better candidates that is out there.

Stay on topic or take it somewhere else please.
Thanks,

So true. Even with the threat of terrorism out there in today's world, I am sometimes more afraid to send my kids out into the public school system than out into the real world.

Kids just aren't allowed to have fun anymore these days. What is next? No more jump roping or kick ball?

Colo. School Bans Tag on Its Playground
Aug 30, 7:44 AM (ET)
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - An elementary school has banned tag on its playground after some children complained they were harassed or chased against their will.
"It causes a lot of conflict on the playground," said Cindy Fesgen, assistant principal of the Discovery Canyon Campus school.
Running games are still allowed as long as students don't chase each other, she said.
Fesgen said two parents complained to her about the ban but most parents and children didn't object.
In 2005, two elementary schools in the nearby Falcon School District did away with tag and similar games in favor of alternatives with less physical contact. School officials said the move encouraged more students to play games and helped reduce playground squabbles.

Little action coming through at the 3's
Surely you would think that Beman has some sort of PR just sitting around! Still has the announcement of the Rage claims permit. Can still update on the JV and exactly what that means. Could still PR about the progress of drilling. Could PR about the progress of the NI 43-101 reports. Most importantly, he could freaking PR why the heck he raised the A/S!! Just give the shareholders something so that they don't continue to sell.
The pure lack of information while we were floundering around .0005-.0008 with the news of drilling and good direction to the company was fine. I could stomach it, however, with the seemingly underhanded move of upping the A/S, no news is killing us.
Just give us something!

Does anyone know where American Uranium Mining Company is incorporated? Pinksheets.com says DE, but I have had a look all around the state of Delaware website and can't find them. Oddly enough, you can still find the details for Ithaca Industries on their website, but no mention of AUMN. Even the SEC site does not have mention of a name change or any filing regarding AUMN.

Petty,
Just following up on the 504 issue. You seemed to post first that the CEO said the 504 was going to be ending in August. Where did you get this info? Did you get an email from the CEO? If you did, could you paraphrase the email.
I have found no evidence that the 504 is will be done in August. I have not gone through the volume since February to give a rough estimate, so if you have any info that could shed some light onto your statements, that would be great.
-faz
Dak,
has the end to the 504 been PR'd? I see a lot of posts about that and I can't find it anywhere. TIA.

Uranium continues its fall from grace
Publisher: U3O8.biz
Author: Luke Brocki
Uranium continues its fall from grace while speculators refuse to buy
the metal. Not only that, they're fleeing the sector in droves.
To be sure, things have looked better. The spot price of uranium took
a heavy beating earlier this week. Ux Consulting LLC clocked the
metal's spot price at US$90 a pound, with rival TradeTech holding its
price at US$105 a pound in anticipation of feedback from last week's
auction of 200 tonnes of UF6 by the U.S. Department of Energy. Let's
not forget uranium's spot price peaked just below $140 a pound earlier
this summer.
Uranium futures on the New York Mercantile Exchange are pushing prices
ever lower, with December 2007 contracts having fallen to US$68 a
pound.
But fundamentals still support a long-term target of US$95 a pound.
The hope remains that the proverbial nuclear renaissance will ignore
market pullbacks such as this one in the long run. Perhaps, with
hundreds of new nuclear reactors in the planning and construction
phases, it's only a matter of time before demand for uranium again
outstrips its supply.
The Resource World uranium stock index was up just a fraction of a
percent Thursday, gaining six points to close at 978.39. But markets
closed lower in general on Thursday, amid continued credit worries and
a terrible housing market in the United States.
Canada's beleaguered uranium giant Cameco Corp. had a good day of
trading Wednesday after one of its subsidiaries signed a processing
deal with Uranium One Inc., but the world's largest publicly traded
uranium producer saw its stock fall 80 cents Thursday to close at
$40.65.
This drop follows Thursday's article in the Globe and Mail, which
stated that Cormark Securities' uranium index has fallen to new
52-week lows. Cameco is one of 33 stocks in that index and the
bellwether security for many investors; The Globe reports that all
companies in the index are oversold and remain below their 50-, 100-
and 200-day moving averages.
Still, there remains money to be made, even if uranium buyers are
tough to find.
Thursday's winners included Altius Minerals Corp., which gained $1.67,
or 10 per cent, to close at 18.31. The gain came with no new
announcement from the company, but follows news of a drilling program
on its Rocky Brook uranium property in western Newfoundland.
Energy Fuels Inc. was up nearly 12 per cent, gaining 19 cents to close
at $1.82 amid news of the company doubling its National Instrument
43-101-compliant resource base in Colorado and Utah.
Khan Resources Inc. enjoyed some gains, closing nearly 13 per cent
higher, as it crept up 18 cents to $1.60. This news followed an update
from the company's Mongolia property. The property's license is not
invalid, as reported earlier this month, but under review by the
Mineral Resources and Petroleum Authority of Mongolia.
A company news release states that the license may still be rendered
invalid, but also reassures investors that Khan is debt-free with more
than US$34 million in its treasury and all of its cash invested in
demand deposits at a Canadian bank.
Also, Mega Uranium Ltd. climbed 41 cents, or 13.3 per cent, to $3.49
and explorer Adriana Resources Inc. was up a whopping 37.5 per cent,
gaining 30 cents to close at $1.10 after announcing it has just
bought more than 850,000 square meters of Brazilian shoreline for the
development of an iron ore port facility.
