Green may miss some serious time. Repeated blows and a choke.
Looks like Murray has a knee injury. NOt sure how bad, but fingers crossed(LOL) as he could turn Henry into a stud if he misses time!
Yep, Mixon got a TD! Wishing I played him over Martin. Long day yet though. Hopefully they keep going back to Martin, as it is still close enough to run the ball!
WOW! GOFF!!!!!!!!! Long TD to Watkins now! Would say I need points from Gurley, but with the points Goff is putting up in that league for me and Elliot still to go, may not need many more points!
Have Goff going in all three of my money leagues today! Two of them have long TD Bonuses, so just got a 9 point TD in both. In the one league, one more TD I also get the multiple TD bonus!
NO D may be for real? The block for a TD also helped me. Glad I was able to pick them up for Oakland in my one league. Looking good so far! Still need Martin to pick it up though in my one league, so I hope they keep feeding him.
LOL! League I am playing R. Matthews in, he is sitting on the bench. They are playing an extra RB in Perrine, instead of an extra WR in R. Matthews? YEAH!!!
BTW, playing J. Elliot looks like it was a wise decision. 5 Pts already and still in the 1stQ!
Could use a Funchess TD!
They just showed Corey's catch on Redzone! Need a bunch more now!
BTW, HOW ABOUT MY HAWKEYES!!!!!!!!
I know how that is! I am pissed off in my one league right now. Was gong to drop J. Matthews for a TE, so I had an extra to cover Ertz next week, but held off to see how Matthews did this week. So, left without a TE there!
As long as NO does not run away with the game early, Martin should have a good day.
Thanks. I think I am better leaving Mixon on bench for another week. If he does well, then I always have him going forward.
That is what I am thinking. Might as well see if the money I paid a few weeks ago pays off!
Thoughts? J. Hill is out this week now, but Cinci still going against Jacksonville. Go with Mixon over either Hyde or Martin, both of whom have better matchups?
Then, Mixon or Darkwa?
Westbrook still inactive, so does not help. However, I was playing Fournette in 2 of 3 money leagues, so that helps. Much lower replacement players in both and now in the one league, they will be forced to play Ajayi even though he will be limited.
Bad news is Ertz, as the one money league I have him in has no backup for him and I cannot make moves on Sunday. That said, team I am playing is playing Ivory for Fournette and Yeldon is supposed to get most of the carries.
Yep! I have him in two leagues now, so hoping he gives me a good run in the 2nd half.
Yep, hoping he can give me a boost in the two weeks that I have him in starting next week. Westbrook has potential, but still have to wonder if Bortles can take advantage of it.
Thanks! Confirmed my thoughts. Denver D may be tough, but that could also play into a possible big game by Elliot, as could lead to a multiple FG day!
If Coleman is healthy, definitely Martin. Probably Martin anyway. NO D has been getting better by the week, but is mostly due to turnover against the pass. Lattimore is turning into a stud! NO's run D not great and Martin should get a ton of chances, so long as TB can stay within a couple of scores most of the game.
Freeman has been a little gimpy, Coleman been getting healthier, so Atl should be moving closer to last year's splits and Carolina is a monster against the run.
OK, cannot go with D. Henry with D. Murray active and TN playing Baltimore. Too much of a crap shoot. As of now, I have DeDe Westbrook tentatively scheduled to go, but not sure he will be activate just yet. If he is, I think I have to go with him. If not, would you go with
J. Elliot, Kittle or Henry? 1/2 PPR. Elliot's Eagles have a tough matchup against Denver, but those can be the best matchups at times for K's, as just one long FG could give you 5 pts when the other players have potential for goose eggs. Kittle looked like he was going to take off, but then was horrible last week when I needed him with Engram on bye. He does have a history with Bethard though and now that Garcon is done for the year, maybe he gets those looks? Still, at this point leaning towards the higher floor that Elliot brings, even though most people would never play two kickers.
As a side note, if I were not grabbing D. Westbrook this week and needed to stash a WR, think it would be T. Taylor. Could be a monster down the stretch in San Fran if Tony G does take over after the bye now that Garcon is gone.
Pretty sure you should be good either way with those choices.
The definition of happiness: Seeing fellow 5-3 team that you are playing this week to see who has inside track for 2nd Place and a Bye, spends $8 of their remaining $16 on Buffalo D, only to get hit with a nasty -2 rather than the projected 12.9 points!!!!!!!!!!!!
LOL! Not that good planning does anyone any good! I had Watson to cover for Brady during his bye week and then he blows his knee this week.
In case you missed it, some good humor from yesterday! Apparently, Rotoworld cannot take a joke, at least when it comes to America Hating Communist Kaepernick!!!!
NFL insider Howard Balzer was apparently joking when he "reported" the Texans were willing to work out free agent Colin Kaepernick.
We really wish we had not passed this one along, but there was zero reason to believe a professional NFL lifer like Balzer was "joking," especially considering the straightforward tone of his tweet. We have sourced Balzer in the past, but will not do so going forward. Kap was and is a free agent who seems nowhere close to getting an NFL workout. His collusion lawsuit against the NFL is still moving forward. Nov 2 - 6:18 PM

Yes! This is week 9. Let's say he plays this week, then the court refuses to grant the full appeal, thereby ending his stay while waiting for appeal and puts him into his six game suspension, that would mean weeks 10-15. Most Fantasy Playoffs are weeks 14, 15, 16, so in that case, he would only be around for the final week of the playoffs, which then would make you wonder if you should hold. Furthermore, in 2 of my 3 money leagues, Week 17 is a free for all with a bonus for the team with the most points that week. $100 in one league, $150 in the other. I happen to have him in both leagues that do this. SO.........do I consider holding him just for week 17 should he play this week and next, then get suspended? My head hurts!
Fantasy Playoffs
Good humor yesterday, despite the sad situation of the kid blowing his knee out. Took less than 15 minutes after Houston signed McGloin for local Chicago Sports Radio peeps to ignorantly suggest Houston was racist for not bringing on Kaep??????? How do these guys have job?
Given in my one league I am without McKinnon and Bell this week, I guess I am happy, but came to the realization just now that should he get suspended next week and it sticks, then he is gone until 16, which is final week of playoffs. Do you then stash him for final week? Think you have to, as long as you appear to be getting to the playoffs, as it sure would suck to drop and then face him in week 17!!!!
Couldn't wait until after next week, or at least this week? This is Brady's bye week, so needed him in our league. Was going to try to trade either him or Brady after Brady's bye for a stud WR though darn it!
Two of Four:
R. Anderson, C. Davis, J. Matthews, D. Westbrook
I am thinking that even though they are facing Buffalo, have to play Anderson, as he is always a threat for a long score and this league has 3 Pt bonus for TD over 40 Yds and 6 Pt for one over 80.
1/2 PPR. Davis and Westbrook are unknowns, but Matthews has not broken 10 pts in a single game this year. Leaning towards Davis in the 2nd slot.
Prosise or Drake? Thinking in other league go for Prosise, but will put bid in for both. Not sure if he can state healthy, but if he does, could be the difference maker I need down the stretch. Would not be to play this week. In my first league, it was to play this week, so Drake was first option.
Got Drake and Westbrook for not too much money! $13 on Drake and $2 on Westbrook. Also dropped Oakland D for the suddenly formidable NO Saints D for $3, so $20 left. Will have to see the final bid totals, but should be in the top 5 of 12 teams in money left after tonight if not higher and two of the teams with the most money left are perilously close to falling out of playoff contention. I guess that is what they get for not going big on the players they needed, as sometimes in Auction Leagues, you have to say F It and go big on someone you need.
Would have been cheap last week. Someone with money and bench room will surely go at least $5 for him in my two leagues, especially if they are weak at WR. May actually help me sneak Westbrook, or at least I hope so.
Put in small bids for him in all three money leagues.
Risky stash. Wish I could afford to give it a go, but I am betting he goes this week for a decent buck.
I agreed on DJ until he proclaimed this afternoon that he wants to still play this year. Think I have to give it one more week to see how things shake out before I dump him. If the Cardinals get blown out, then makes it easier to drop next week unless there is further news. If somehow they look good with Stanton, may have to hold for a little more.
Yep, thinking of putting a $1 Bid in for him in hopes he slips through the cracks.
Not dumping Zeke, thinking of dumping DJ. Even if Zeke goes on suspension, he would be back for weeks 15 and 16, so just have to make it past first round, unless I get a bye.
