LOL...EOM
Chart, VERY wound up, IMO :
I agree, and do not despise the day of small beginnings.
I do...
That's the spirit...
Hang in there little pecker...you'll be "back up" in no time I am thinking...
WRNW and HYRF both look like they want to move. WRNW is wound up about as tight as it gets.
I can certainly see the reason behind it.
...I also understand that in the oil business one is not always in a hurry to give out much info on test results for obvious reasons. Case in point, based on my conversations with Mr. Monson and others on the Ft. Peck reservation, I know there is a lot of activity of late. Yet when you try to talk to outfits operating there you will get little or nothing. If , lets say, I successfully reworked a well to the tune of a couple hundred BOPD and there were still lease lands available all around me, would I (1) Want to let the owners of that land know what I just found or (2) Let competitors know?
Wildcatting is apparently some of the most hush-hush business I have ever seen.
Best of luck to you. It's a wild and wooly place, the land of pinks. Keep your eyes open!
A lot of times with pinks, I would be very cautious of an insider who spends much time at all talking about the share price. They aught to be concerned with the business. Very often when they want to convince you the price is about to rocket, it's because they will be the one selling you the shares. About having a conversation, hey, that's what we're here for. I learn a lot talking with people and thinking about what they say. It's not so much a matter of agreeing or disagreeing, but of exchanging perspectives.
Pecker , let me give a prime example. HYRF recently announced some of their past successful equipment installations across the country. They told how installations were operating properly and the end users were satisfied. I knew of these exact locations, I knew the customers were happy and had posted weeks ago of them. I was able to piece together the information through public records such as news releases, SEC filings, and so forth. I made many phone calls and exchanged many emails. I have been buying HYRF because of what I know about their products and the fact that I know they are slowly building their business back up. I did not have insider information, even though HYRF was under the impression that many of their installations were on the "QT". I found everything by investigation and by making inquiries. There is a lot you can find out about any company using public records, news articles, trade publications, the telephone, whatever. But you have to think and dig. Non of it is insider information because it is out there for anyone to find.
Exactly so. And just because a company officer tells you something over the phone does not make it insider information. Not if it is something they would tell anyone who called. Most shareholders know little about where a company is headed simply because they do not pick up the phone and ask.
Simple...we wait till tomorrow morning.
Is there a date on that listing? I count 17 wells listed as producing. That is encouraging.
That could be dangerous. After four hours , shouldn't he see a doctor?
We've got a "Righty" a "Lefty" and a "Pecker" on this board. That makes one complete "package"...
I think we may soon see a reversal. I believe T/A is risky with pinks simply because the dynamics change with these stocks so dramatically and often covertly. Things like changing share structure , news, naked shorting...all make it very frustrating to rely on T/A. That being said, if things remain the same going forward and if we hear good things from the company we should be in for a pleasant turn up. If share structure is changing, all bets are off as far as T/A:
..Picked up a million shares the other day.
jc
I predict the 50 DMA will then be above the 200 DMA...
...sorry, couldn't resist...LOL
Well, I didn't want to come out and say it, but if you go spouting off every time you hit oil in a hot area, the lease costs of additional parcels will sky rocket and every wildcat outfit around will be sniffing. The smart thing, IMO, would be cap the wells, keep your mouth shut, and keep movin' along.
I doubt anything will shut him up. His big contention is that there are no Bakken wells producing on the reservation. He bases this on a website maintained by the State. I was told there is Bakken oil coming out of the reservation now by someone in the mineral office on the reservation. It is certain there are a number of outfits there now because of the Bakken. A simple Google search will show that. If there is a discrepancy between a State data base and the statement of someone on the reservation who works in the mineral office, rather than cry foul, I choose to believe either the data base needs updating or the results of the drilling possibly aren't being reported yet, or something to that effect. Now, that is pure speculation on my part, but I know what the woman said.
I sent the guy a private reply yesterday with a logical suggestion, that he call the number in the document I linked and talk to the Fort Peck office of minerals himself. I don't know the name of the woman I spoke with there, but I stand by what I said she told me. In no uncertain terms she said companies were there on the reservation pumping oil, she said trucks were lined up to ship the oil ( something was said about a pipeline, or the lack of one...something to that effect), and I specifically asked about the Bakken play and she said that is what "they" are here for.
Hopefully it's just a matter of time.
You are very welcome. Best of luck.
They change symbols, but more importantly change their CUSIP number by which they clear through the DTC. And this does force them to cover any legal short positions. I don't claim to understand fully what goes on with naked shorts. In the long run, the best defense is to start generation revenue and get off the pinks, IMO.
He is too quick to accuse a woman who works in the mineral office on the Fort Peck reservation of giving out false information. She was very clear about what she said. First he says it isn't happening and I find someone actually there who says it is. Then he says there would be "big boys" there if there was Bakken play there and I have shown at least one major outfit ( Constellation Energy) leasing and drilling there. I mean cripes, at least be tactful and suggest the woman ( who works in the mineral office of the reservation in question) might possibly not know what she is talking about. But to say she gave false information is pretty cold. As for me, she sounded very nice and very honest. I would have laughed it off if he wants to call me a liar, but the woman was not lying.
Most likely. She was very hush-hush. I think I was fortunate to get what I did from the lady at the mineral office this morning.
I made another call, this time to the Bureau of Indian Affairs at Fort Peck. A "Florence WhiteEagle " answered the phone. The very first thing she said was.."Are you calling about an oil lease?" I said no and asked her about NAEG. She said she knows who they are but is not at liberty to discuss them without their permission, or any other company for that matter. I then asked generalized questions about oil exploration on the reservation. She said it is certainly on the increase and she knows that old wells are being reworked as well as new ones being drilled. She said she knew little about the subject other than that there is increasing activity on the reservation.
LOL...I just called the Connecticut office of the East Fort Peck Exploration, LLC. I identified myself as an individual investor interested in their results in tapping the bakken. I got the old, "Sorry, I can't talk about that...goodby...".
The employee at the Fort Peck Reservation office of minerals told me in no uncertain terms they are pumping Bakken oil. Her word is good enough for me.
Here it is...start at the bottom of page 13.

I tried Mr. Monson again and left a message requesting a return call. I will keep the board posted. My earlier call to the reservation mineral office was particularly satisfying as it conclusively refutes the poster yesterday who claimed there were no producing Bakken wells in Roosevelt county. That comes from an employee at the reservation office of minerals. Also he said if the Bakken were in play the big boys would be there. Thus far I have found a number of leases obtained by a company working for Constellation Energy (a very large energy concern) in
Roosevelt listed as Bakken plays. I will try and find those again.
...Thanks for the compliment. There is absolutely no doubt that the Bakken is in play on the reservation. That comes from the horses mouth. From what I can see, with two workover rigs, NAEG has no reason NOT to be successful. It is now a waiting game.
I did a little telephone work just now. I called the number listed on page two of this document:
http://www.eere.energy.gov/tribalenergy/guide/pdfs/fort_peck.pdf
I asked for Larry Monson. I spoke at length with a very nice lady who works there. She told me that Mr. Monson is now working independently as a geologist on the Fort Peck reservation. She gave me his business number. I called and he is out of the office. Before I called I fielded a few questions about oil on Fort Peck. I asked if she was aware of any attempts recently to go after oil on the reservation. She said, " Oh my goodness yes, there are a number of companies doing this now". I specifically asked if they are tapping the BAKKEN. Her answer was, " Goodness yes, that is what they are here for". I asked if it appeared to be successful. Her reply , and I am not exaggerating in any way, was..." My goodness, they are lined up to truck the oil out. There is oil coming out faster than they can move it".
I will try again to reach Mr. Monson , whom she sited as the man most knowledgeable about anything to do with mineralogy on Fort Peck. This conversation was, to say the least, very encouraging as it laid to rest the question of whether the BAKKEN is in play on the reservation.

I agree...things are winding up:
I kind of miss her...LOL
I'm glad you like it.
...my favorite paragraph:
"The investment from this group will also help us to rapidly execute on our vision to integrate renewable energy systems, such as Wind Farms, with our core Oil & Gas business that is already underway. These components will both contribute to what we are projecting will be a vastly increasing revenue picture later in the year. Another important project on the agenda is Housing construction that we are joint-venturing on the reservations with Eurowest Panel Homes. That is quite a large market in itself considering the immediate need of 200,000 homes in Indian country," said Nanvaan.
You just answered your own question!
