wiki...Poltergeist (it is German)
a poltergeist (/'po?lt?r?ga?st/; German for "noisy ghost" or "noisy spirit") is a type of ghost or spirit that is responsible for physical disturbances, such as loud noises and objects being moved or destroyed. They are purportedly capable of pinching, biting, hitting, and tripping people. Most accounts of poltergeists describe the movement or levitation of objects such as furniture and cutlery, or noises such as knocking on doors.
They have traditionally been described as troublesome spirits who haunt a particular person instead of a specific location. Such alleged poltergeist manifestations have been reported in many cultures and countries including the United States, Pakistan, India‚ Japan, Brazil, Australia, and most European nations.[citation needed] Early accounts date back to the 1st century.[citation needed]
Paranormal Researchers believe that Poltergeists aren't ghosts at all, but rather manifestations of emotion stemming from prepubescent or teenage children. They are thought to be caused when a child is under emotional turmoil or duress. To that end, Poltergeists are not demons, and the two are not interchangeable.

Item 8.01. Other Events.
Sigma Labs, Inc. (“Sigma Labs” or the “Company”), a provider of quality assurance software under the PrintRite3D® brand, and Materialise NV, a leading provider of additive manufacturing software and of sophisticated 3D printing solutions, signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to cooperate in evaluating the integration of Sigma Labs’ technology with the Materialise technology to create an integrated product solution composed of sophisticated control technology enhanced with in-situ process monitoring for metal additive manufacturing, with the vision of establishing a formal joint marketing collaboration or formal licensing arrangement for an integrated product between the Company and Materialise.
Recall my previous post:
It looks like that the Materialise management understood the necessary steps together with Sigma Labs!!!

Ron Fisher was talking about the turning point recently...
I understand now what he means with that,
Sigma Labs had soo many collaborations and or tests with real machine OEM's on real machines mentioned in 10K/Q's during the last years.
3D Systems
Renishaw
EOS
SLM
AI
CL (now GE Additive)
Trumpf
including Materialize
This is the full portfolio without China.
All of them are doing there own way means OEM standard only...
The problem for all is: for real serial production this is the wrong way as too many standards are confusing the customers.
Sigma Labs will do it with a different approach as especially the software will set the standard for all and also for highly productive multi laser machines...
The German connection has to follow that approach otherwise the customers will not implement metal AM in real serial production!
>>>today we can see the reason for Ron Fisher's turning point!
Markus Meidenstein

How so? <<<
I know from your posts that you like long walks.
Me too, I walk 5 kms daily in the early morning and I enjoy it very much...
To your Q: todays 8k was a very strong surprise confirmation that Sigma Labs is on the right way to be market leader and I believe without real competition the market dominator!
>>>Yes, thank you. I am well aware of where we stand and I do hope we are one day chosen as the premier IPQA company. It's going to be a feast or famine situation (IMHO) We'll either go to 100...or bust and it should happen fairly soon..I hope. So let's get on with it..and get down to business. <<<
No you did not understand the situation yet!
Fact is now: Materialize will go the next steps with Sigma Labs and it will still takes time.
e.g. one important topic is the multi laser story...
Just remember: the winner (Sigma Labs) takes it all!!!
>>> Even GE courted several metal printing companies before deciding to buy one.<<<
Just for the history: GE's favorite was SLM and not CL and GE could not manage to take over SLM. So CL was 2nd choice only.
But again this was and is a different story.
>>>Kanya, I really hope you're right and this is a big deal...<<<
I do not know if you understand that niche market were Sigma Labs is in.
You must understand with Materialize all OEM's with Streamics are in the same boat and they need a certain industry standard for quick and sustained implementation of IPQA in AM!
>>>It is likely Materialize has the same non-binding agreements related to QA with at least 2 other companies. It is the best company wins the final contact situation, the losers get nothing. Materialize would never put all their eggs in one basket. This was a give me, on an ask from SGLB. <<<
Which would be the other companies?
Just name one if you can.
>>>Why can't a non-binding MOU PR be public information, though? <<<
I personally do not care if Sigma Labs issues a PR or 8K, fact is why the hell Materialize should agree on that new agreement?
Answer again: because Sigma Labs is and will be the only provider of IPQA in the future!
>>>Quote:
Now it is confirmed that IPQA of Sigma Labs is and will be the standard in the industry!
Was it not confirmed when they made the agreement 5 years ago? It's good to have faith but... <<<
at that time they just do trial and error now it is real...

No!
Now it is confirmed that IPQA of Sigma Labs is and will be the standard in the industry!

not yet...

Insider Ownership of Sigma Labs
Many investors like to check how much of a company is owned by insiders. I reckon it’s a good sign if insiders own a significant number of shares in the company. It’s great to see that Sigma Labs insiders own 20% of the company, worth about US$2.8m. This kind of significant ownership by insiders does generally increase the chance that the company is run in the interest of all shareholders.
