How large is their first contract going to be?
::exits whistling::
I agree wholeheartedly and it's one I had listed.
Thanks for your time DWOL. I'd guess that this will not be a 30 minute QA session and that they probably have their points they want to cover. If Witty is agreeable to the idea of passing along questions then great.
We should not ask about uplisting, a takeover and I'm fine with shelving the personnel questions. I personally listed it because I know it came up several times. To me it's rather unimportant.
Let us know what feedback you get after you incorporate Smithy's questions.
GE Power and Water! BAZINGA!!!
I figured I'd channel up and release all of the excitement so others don't have to.
You're welcome.
He was or is. Our former fearless blogger pointed it out some time ago.
I have about 15% of my net woth in this POS. Reckless but potentially life changing.
Wh isn't Sigma presenting? Maybe this is a question to add to our list of questions?
If it were then it'd be a PR. It's not so maybe they're throwing Charlie and I a bone. If it's not a PR then I'm not sure how I feel about it. I'll ask Charlie his thoughts after he wakes up from his nap (he just ate lunch).
Again, lets turn these things into questions that DWOL can submit. There's no reason why we should guess and speculate.
Lets turn it into a question then and DWOL can add it to the list.
Charlie and I wholeheartedly agree!
Here's some questions, I'll think of more. My brain is full at the moment so I need to dump some of this out of my head first.
Will DEFORM be commercialized before the end of 2014? Please be specific.
Will INSPECT be commercialized before the end of 2014? Please be specific.
What is commercialization?
When will the Materialise integration happen?
When will the Adurant solution be complete?
Why hasn't the 975,000 dollars been realized yet from the Dec 26th 2013 PR where 2 systems were sold to a leading aerospace company?
Who are the other PR3D customers and early adopters?
How healthy are the relationships with HON and GE?
Where do you see the company in 1 year, 2 years and 5 years?
Who have you hired in the last year? What positions do you plan on hiring for over the next year?
Why is THERMAL only a concept? What are the plans for it?
Who is your competition?
Eh for that to happen it'd have to be all but done and dusted. That can be one of the questions:
When will INSPECT be integrated with Materialise? And we shouldn't accept a non-answer. And we also deserve to know just how close they are to commercialization. We can even ask for Mark to define it. We shouldn't accept a non-answer there either.
There are 4 months left, it either is or isn't going to happen.
The term commercialization is a bit ambiguous.
The product isn't yet on the shelf so it doesn't exist. This actually brings up another question and back to the point of transparency. There have been mentions of "other customers" and "early adopters". Why can't this information be shared as to who those are?
I'm writing this one on my own behalf. Charlie's no help.
How can they integrate a product that doesn't exist yet? There was no mention of it in their slides and I'd bet all of Charlie's money that it won't be mentioned in the presentation.
One of the questions we should ask them is why can't they be more transparent? We assume it's because of this Los Alamos and NDA bullshit, but Charlie and I want (and deserve) transparency. They're a publically traded company and we pay their salaries.
We shouldn't assume anything and instead we should just ask them.
Who is going to take the ball and email Witty a list of questions?
Very truly yours,
Charlie & Dave
Charlie and I are happy that Sigma finally released a fucking PR. We are both looking forward to the goddamn presentation.
Respectfully,
Charlie & Dave
This is the May 1st presentation:

We'll have to see how the 9/11 one compares to it.
For thos NLT Q3 hopeless romantics, the clock is ticking.
The website has been updated Oscar and some people were over the moon about it. I'm just pointing out that it's not all rainbows and puppy dog noses.
Should we only point things out when it supports our position?
Lets see what 9/11 brings but as it stands right now, Charlie and
I are not impressed. Infact, we're both doing the Mckayla Maroney smirk topless just to show how unimpressed we are.
Regards,
Charlie & Dave
If Charlie and I don't get a PR today we are going to be sooooooooo mad! So mad!
Regards,
Charlie & Dave
DEFORM is still in Development per the website and THERMAL is a concept. Connect all the dots you want to connect, I ain't buying it.
I just think it's all just stupid, loose, careless language and if I were a betting man, I bet we miss 2014 for commercialization.
Charlie and I want PRs.
Oh it's real and it's fantastic.
The guy who wrote the article is a fool.
Great, thanks a lot for the follow-up and the detail. I gess we'll see the money in the next Q? I know we didn't see it in the last two.
9/11 isn't too far away so we should form up some questions next week.
12/26/2013:
Sigma Labs, Inc. Delivers PrintRite3D® Systems To Leading International Aerospace Company
Where's that $975,000?
---
I'd like to know the answer.
Happy Birthday IMO!
Of course you do.
Sorry I was being cheeky. I was simply pointing out that it was highlighted as being included on the data sheet.
Buy our stuff for 500k and we will throw in the instructions free of charge.
Obvi. It's only been 4 months. How much time do we give them? 2 years? 4 years?
I'd be happier if the datasheet didn't include any "in development" items. It doesn't do any customer any good if they can't use it. Future/in development type stuff should be reserved for roadmaps.
"In development". Past performance is indiactive of future results. They could remain "in development" for years. My favorite part about the datasheet is that the user manual is included. That's huge.
So now we support him going to an expo but when they didn't go to the rapid expo (the same one where America Makes and Materialise attended) we justified it by saying they have better things to do.
We went over this back in June and it's probably good to bring it up again.
From the 3D printer purchase PR on 6/19:
"The timeline for the machine deployment aligns well with our planned launch of PrintRite3D® INSPECTâ„¢ and PrintRite3D® DEFORMâ„¢ over the next 6 to 9 months, respectively."
INSPECT's now due out NLT EOY (Q42014). That is until it gets delayed again.
Prettttty sneaky Sigma!
I don't normally defend crooks but I'll defend this one. He has been here for a bit.
A while ago you told me to ignore them. Do you agree with them now? Why promote it?
I'd reply to him with:
"One more question Chris, what are you wearing?"
I'm certain his response would be:
"Clothes."
Kinda quiet here. Is it the calm before the storm?!?!?!?!!!!???
Ugh, I hate that saying.
Yes, instead it has Materialise without SGLB and EOSTATE, their own QA software.
Soon to have SGLB slapped onto it though.
The 400 series is out and IIRC it was out when they made the announcement.
200 series (honda)
400 series (monster truck)
More to my point was that shocker was wrong about it being the latest and greatest.
NBD.
I don't think it was the latest gen. So does that make it a Honda?
Some have argued that GE is in a rush and never misses timelines. That argument will change if dates slip.
