Sorry- didn't mean any offense. I was just thinking about capital gains if I personally applied that strategy. I know lots of people do short term trades and make a lot of money.
I think that's such a short term view.... personally can't justify wasting my long term gains rate to try and flip and buy back a cent or two lower. If we get back to 20s and start to reverse, I might flip half to buy back on correction in the teens, [banking more gains at the lower rate], but wouldn't do it now IMO.
Inspect has 2 components. The SensorPak (hardware) and Software (Inspect module)frot what I gather.
WOW 1st part of next quarter fully integrated with Materialise. Not bad!! Also no idea that Honeywell's facility is in Phoenix. That's close (relative to Cincinnati) at any rate.
What's our next date to remember? [Conference, etc?] Can't open the image here.
In the last investors conference they said Inspect NLT Q3 2014 and Deform NLT Q1 2015. That's the timeline I go by. Inspect was met. Deform, we'll see.
Why do they need more idemnification? I mean... I think they've been trustworthy so far, but isn't that sort of a license to screw over the company? [Not that these guys would.... but what about future executives?) That's sort of weird. Thoughts?
Had a feeling that would happen. :/
Haha this is ridiculous! Someone is crapping their pants right now.... guarantee it.
Seller should raise the ask just to be a turd. Make em chase. HOOOLLDDDDDD
What's the best time frame for using Bollinger Bands/ RSI in your opinion? [Totally random, just curious.]
I don't expect signed contracts tomorrow, but probably will mention the appearance of the delayed revenue, now that negotiations are complete... though the latest announcement DID say they were delayed as GE was negotiating contracts with its partners....
What's MOST exciting is that the team will be working for 'homologation' [totally had to look that up lol] across the industry of Sigma's IPQA. That's nuts! [A whole team of big dogs, capable of pushing our goals way faster than we could on our own.] Idk why we haven't popped more.... it was pretty darn specific. Maybe people waiting for confirmation?
[Idk how much more 'confirmation' we can get; even the America Makes project document says very specifically IPQA.... and didn't Morris just say it twice yesterday?]
Gotcha... I guess I thought they did.... issuing a PR after.
Wasn't it Honeywell?
FYI: Both Inspect and SensorPak are no longer listed as "beta."
[For those wondering whether the sensor pack was also done…]

Chris Witty getting it done!
Morris is always on a speaking campaign.... lol. I swear, when we talked to him, we had to walk with him out of the building just to get a word in.
Agreed. They go together on the standalone. Fully integrated (more 'app-like') version is in development with materialise, IMO.
Sweet... I just wish I had more shares!
This afternoon? Which conference?
Six Sigma certification has nothing to do with us. We are called B6 Sigma for "Beyond 6 Sigma" to imply our QA is even better than the 6 Sigma model.
Pretty sure Mark was somehow involved with EWI, if memory serves me right.
Agreed. No sense in PR'ing on a Friday IMO. Much more effective on Mon (or Tues) running up into the webinar; with GE America Makes IPQA presentation the following week.
Thank you! I was about to say the same thing! I'm pumped :)
Lol I probably would too.
I just hope it's not an offering… or AS increase to be voted on. [I REALLY DOUBT THIS… gut feeling is we're ready for history to repeat itself. Last fall went .07-.27 Aug-Nov. :)] Still, felt the need to state the possibility. I'm most looking forward to seeing whether DEFORM was moved up or not… that would be awesome if it was!
You're forgetting their older products… such as Quality Sentinel. That's been sold before. Boeing wrote it into their standards. And I've seen photos of PrintRite (not cgi stuff…. actual photos). Therefore at least one exists. lol.
Rockstroh- oldie but goodie…

Hey that's good news!
I think whoever the original poster was did that. I just copy and pasted the message and saved it on my stickies probably 6-8 months ago. Should be word for word. [Spreadsheet I guess was just prettier.] If whoever the OP was claims it maybe they can let you access it.
Someone on this board posted this a long time ago. I saved it to see whether it would be accurate or not. Apologies if this repost offends whoever wrote it- I'm sorry I didn't copy your name, too- just thought it was interesting and FWIW be proud I saved it this long :)!

GLTA!
They said (and I forget in what format) that they essentially put it on the back burner, focusing on PrintRite for the time being. That is the end goal though… the real 'closed-loop' control from having their software integrated into the machine and correcting defects automatically. The Materialise agreement may help with that, too- in getting it to communicate with existing machines, but not sure how far away that is. This first edition is still dependent on alerting the controller person to potential problems, as far as I know. The biggest issue with 3D printing is these machines have to be constantly calibrated and aligned, so knowing something is off is the difference between one scrapped part and 10+, if that makes sense. My husband had a friend over talking about this and apparently the guy used one that had become totally useless/irreparable from improper calibration.
All I know is I talked to her last winter. She works part time and was really efficient.
Did you talk to Valerie Vekkos?
Maybe after the long weekend? Are markets closed Labor Day?
The description sounds promising…

IN-PROCESS MONITORING SOFTWARE
2.50 Analyzing The Reliability Of In-Process Monitoring Tools To Assist Validation And Ensure Product Consistency: Exploring Software Capabilities
• Learning how a large scale manufacturer adopted in-process inspection tools to achieve product consistency and reduced cycle times
• Assessing the possibility of utilizing in-process monitoring software in additive manufacturing: polymers and metals • Understanding what types of sensors can be synchronized
with inspection software: temperature, oxygen and chamber • Discussing how the implementation of effective in-process
monitoring tools affects process validation

Well, they were in on the last one that was 'dangerously similar' so I'd say they know about it, at any rate. lol.
I'm jealous ;) I hope to be country living too, in a year or two. C'monnnn Sigma lol. Next year my husband graduates in Materials Engineering (along with Math and Physics); just started a 3D printing group to build one of those MTU open source printers for materials testing of metal samples. He's President. Probably the last piece in the puzzle for him getting a good job next year after that co-op he found from when we went to that Additive Manufacturing show which we heard about it on this board. (Thanks, for the 1000th time.) If I gain nothing else from this investment, there's always that!
LOL… ok… that was funny. Nicely done.
I agree… I think they've said what needed to be said. The big news will be all the better for the silence. I think it's pretty clear they've been keeping busy and would way rather have a small staff/low expenditures than a bunch of fluff every day. Aerospace (and really, all manufacturing) is so wary of their competitive edge I think it increases trust and professionalism, personally.
