so has my 19 month old....I am always surprised what the hell comes out of him....
well, with 1) I don't know... hopefully that will come out at the SHM....
with 2) I doubt it...if there were legal issues, they could not sell the stuff to Aldeveron
with 3) misleading the shareholders? I doubt that....misprojected is more like it....they did change the timelines afterall...misleading would be not changing it in the first place...
another one is...why are the IND's being pushed so far back?
Thanks...Paulness posted this over the weekend...
what I like, is the fact they say that the primary goal of CYGX is the make DNA pharmaceuticals...,
so for those that said everything was dropped, just to be a DNA manufacturing company...see? we are still in the pharma business...we just took a diversion, to solve the bottleneck of DNA manufacturing, which will streamline our own therapeutic interests...
Thanks for that.....now if the story gets picked up country wide...then...even better.
Happy Memorial Day everyone....God Bless the USA
once again Arnold...what proof do you have that they have not shipped the order? (and please do not go into the Waldorff and PP rant again...not very strong arguments)...for example, they lost the AVGI suit yet did not lose PP...
Is it your thought that they have not shipped or do you actually know? If you know, then how, what is your proof? If it is your thought, then you are entitled....Thanks...
we should find out at the SHM...someone could ask.... has anyone here said they were going?
if one of the fellow investors was Thaliowizard my suggestion is to review all of his posts and see that he has not one clue as to what is happening.....
no, the HANSO foundation.....
once again Arnold, or should I say Eilene, you have added to this board tremendously...Thank you
Are you serious? I know the weather has gotten hotter in the northeast...maybe by you it is too hot....might i suggest you drink some ice tea and get into some shade?
Waldroff...no idea what happened there
PP- a sham of a company--smooth talkers all of them...you know, for a bunch of lawyers, they almost got away with it....but then again, not so smart of a group to close the deal...oh wait, you are probably going to blame CYGX for that....and I agree..they should have seen right through the group
Aldevron...here's one for you...try calling Aldevron if you are soooooooooo worried about it. As such a concerned CYGX shareholder, I am sure you have the right to see if they received anything....
I like how it closed at 1.04
then we agree to disagree...
other than that, have a great day
I agree with you....
Although, I won't mind if a therapeutically relevant PR was next
The more I am thinking about it...why waste a PR on an issue like this. All the previous PRs state that the DNA can be made faster and purer. I do not doubt that. GE would not be involved if that were not so. My guess is that it already has shipped. CYGX is not a deli...where they post the first dollar they made on the wall......I think another PR stating that they came back for a much larger second order would suffice....
Thanks...I truly believe things are going to get a hell of alot better....soon...., some people are just growing weary of waiting...it is understandable...but I myself am a very patient man...at least that is what the wife says....
I disagree....the website has not changed, but has grown to include the synDNA.
The ONLY thing going for it? I think not.
Everything might have been pushed back, but that is in response to the demand for cheaper DNA....
they are still in the antisense/antibacterial/anticancer/antiwhatever business....somepeople would even say they are in the anti-good-PR business LOL...I am not one of them.
I think, now it may just be my opinion, that they are diversifying from their strategy a tad, but only to strengthen it for the future....
The only people bringing the Aldeveron deal up are you and a few others here...
I think that is a load of crap....(no offense)...even if the PR came out tomorrow, I get the feeling that you would then find some other issue with the company and continue your trend of unhappiness....
working in a small biotech, the collaboration with the US government and GE healthcare far surpasses the delivery of an order(even if it is the first order)...
No, there has not been any revenue yet, but guess what, most biotechs have no revenue for a long time...CYGX has survived for a long long time without revenue...and PPO's were/are a part of that...but if you really doubted the success of CYGX in the future then you would not be here...
the groundwork that CYGX is laying far surpasses the generation of revenue (for the time being).....The potential for what they are doing now far exceed amount they can get from Aldeveron...
I forsee a paradigm shift for DNA therapeutics...and I am VERY VERY excited to be a stockholder of CYGX....CYGX will be successful and there has been absolutely no evidence to the contrary....
When I was at J&J, many deals were done without a PR being put out to the public...no, I am not comparing J&J and CYGX, but just to let you know, you will find out what you need to know, when they decide to let you know...and no amount of whining will expedite the PR...any responsible company will post a PR when they decide to do it...not to appease a few who are unhappy with current market conditions....
Sorry folks, long tough day at work.
Cancer Vaccine Shows Promise in Mice
By Steven Reinberg
HealthDay Reporter 18 minutes ago
TUESDAY, May 23 (HealthDay News) -- A new type of vaccine, tested in mice, could be a longer lasting form of cancer treatment and may even lead the way toward preventing cancer, Swedish researchers report.

The DNA-based vaccine was shown to prevent cancer growth in mice. The vaccine works by mimicking the effects of angiostatin, a piece of a protein that suppresses tumor growth by preventing new blood vessels from forming in tumors. This is a treatment strategy known as antiangiogenesis.
"This is a whole different approach," said Dr. Len Lichtenfeld, deputy chief medical officer of the
American Cancer Society. "It's a way of using the body's own defense mechanisms to fight cancer. The implications are significant."
The findings appear in this week's issue of the Proceedings of the National Academies of Science.
According study author Dr. Lars Holmgren, of the Cancer Center at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, "the problem with angiostatin has been that it has a low half-life when given to patients," meaning it stays active in the body for only a short time.
"Therefore, we decided to find the [cell] receptor for angiostatin, which we did," he said. The researchers named that receptor "angiomotin."
In their study, Holmgren's team developed a method using a DNA vaccine to block the receptor by inserting the gene for angiomotin. Once the gene was inside mouse cells, it became a free-floating copy of the target receptor, he explained.
This caused the mice to develop immune antibodies to angiomotin, extending the effects of tumor-suppressing angiostatin.
The result: Vaccinated mice showed reduced growth of breast cancer tumors.
"We may have solved the problem of the low half-life of angiostatin by using either DNA vaccination or therapeutical antibodies," Holmgren said. "This opens up a new way of inhibiting angiogenesis," he said.
This method could be used to target angiogenesis-driven diseases, Holmgren said. In addition to cancer, these include eye diseases such as macular degeneration and atherosclerosis.
It has also been suggested that this approach could be used to prevent the growth of smaller tumors, Holmgren said. "But with this type of DNA vaccination, it's too early to say," he said.
Lichtenfeld said the discovery could be a breakthrough in researcher for the treatment and prevention of cancer. But he also cautioned that real applications are a long way off.
"This is an exciting study," Lichtenfeld said. "[But] it's a long way from the laboratory to the bedside to prove that this works. But if it does, we are talking about something that could be a preventive strategy for cancer. Of course, it's decades away."
there is no way an HR person would answer those questions....
and it continues...the dow decided to tumble and CYGX starts to go up....currently 1.09
ain't it funny?
true, but for some reason, muscle tends to take the dna up easier and present to the right cells....no one knows why, it just is....
sure...the difference between the two..........are huge....
promega...more secure, more financially stable, limited opportunity, you are there to do your job....etc
smaller biotech- much larger risk, but a much larger reward as well...you have the oportunity to make more of a big splash...
one would not accept a position and move across the country without getting evidence that the company you are moving too is very feasible, scientifically sound, and most of all financially secure, at least for a couple of years...
For those in the field...Promega is huge
and a new PR...guy from Promega joins
Senior Biotech Scientist Joins CytoGenix to Head synDNA(TM) Manufacturing Group

they inject into the thigh/muscle
I agree to an extent...but also,
some posters on this board may be guilty of irrational pessimism...
and the pumers name back then was BigDog....
ahhh, back to old times.....
and the PR was released today....
they filed a quarterly report
don't get me wrong.. I would have prefered a 50 cent jump, not drop....but there is no reason for the drop...it would have been diffferent if a PR came out saying synDNA didn't work, but all the PRs point to one thing....progress...and soon, we will see the fruits of success financially as well....
if you check level II , I was only off of 1.04 by 1100 shares.....but that will come soon enough
jeeze, you are starting to sound like Twizzhead and LO...
"I heard", "I have information", "a bird told me"
I have asked you before, and I ask the question again......why are you here?
You keep saying the science, but if the management is so inept as you say, then there is no chance for the company...why stick around?
ok Arnold....we get it...the price went down...and it also went up...but hey, it will go down again...but wait..one more time...it will go up....
This is called the stock market....i may be a novice, but apparently, these things happen...
are you talking about the screens or the woman in the screen. LOL
have a great weekend
so you didn't give up either? Good, I enjoy your analysis
my target was 1.05, and the current ask is 1.04....
I think I deserve a beer tonight...
like I said....over a dollar would be nice
currently 1.01 with 1/2 an hour left
back up to 95.....
if it closes over a dollar (my guess is 1.05), then it will be a good recovery....
no, not that bad....I have my family, a share price still near a dollar, new kid on the way, new house...maybe new job...
I still think this year will continue to outshine the rest....
keep the faith...
no, I was thinking more low 90's then up over 10 dollars....
I can dream can't I?
