Then they would be selling.
Not many sellers out there.
I thought when I said.... If he was 'fired' would he not be gone from them? ....that would explain it.
Are you inferring that they did give him shares, or is that something that you can point to somewhere?
I never read that Shainberg was 'fired'. I was under the impression that he had too much on his plate, so he took another position with the company. If he was 'fired' would he not be gone from them?
Not really sure what you are asking....but I thought the tanks were going to be used for the water from fracking.
I expect that when a company gets to be a NYSE stock, they are already operating on one main product. However, prior to reaching that stature they try various opportunities. That is where we were. Now we are on the verge of becoming a greater company, and will have to pick the one direction that will get us there.
.....and we will soon be back to .02 again. Some like to trade the range. They will be buying here again, as the price goes back to .02 they will sell. I expect those few million shares will be gobbled up quickly awaiting the run to .02.
Correct....that was what I said. Bayport has not given him any shares. Now we are in agreement I guess?
No shares from Bayport. Maybe some other part of the JV is paying him with their shares.
Not understanding why the word scam and Bayport are used in the same post. There must be some confusion here.
I agree....if you believe in a product/stock....buy when others are selling.
There is no 'right time' to either buy or sell this company stock. The question one needs to ask is whether they see this company growing and thriving over the next few years. If you do not see that happening, then one would need to move on to another opportunity. I, for one, do not look at this as a flip type situation. I might consider that with a small amount of my shares. However, I am here for the longer haul. The last time I speculated here, I kept buying shares as it was dropping, as I saw the ethical nature of the management. When the stock rose as quickly as it did early last year, I knew there would be some pullback that would allow me to enter again at a much lower price. I sold my 35M+ shares at that time, and I did re-enter for over 1M shares, and here I stand, awaiting the new growth of Bayport. This time for the longer haul.
What????? That makes no sense. Does anyone follow the logic of this?
I am....that is great news.
That is correct. Most companies would relish having two or three different product lines, as long as there was no overhead cost.
So when the audited financials arrive, will there be a new number (1)? Because Bayport will have them published very shortly. As to (2)....How many tradeable shares have they issued in the past few months? Maybe we cannot be sure of that number because there are no audited financials, but give your best guess.
Remember that we are talking about a company where the CEO has been nominated for Micro-cap Ethical CEO of the Year. Hmmmm, if the company grows between now and when the winner is named, will he still qualify as the Micro-cap one, or.....?
No shares have been issued by Bayport for this financing. We will be able to confirm that with the audited financials. But I personally do not need them to verify that fact.
Not sure why you say that there is nothing new here. This company now has financing, and the right direction. Those that can see it will be holing em for a while.
Not true, but that is really funny. Have they folded that business? Not sure how that would relate to O&G.
I truly am sorry for those that do not know when to hold em and when to fold em. One should never marry a company stock. There needs to be a game plan, and knowing how to stick to it. I am comfortable with the ethics of Bayport management, especially Jim Porter.
I do not think that was the question. I think it had to do with either Jim backing out, or that the award did not exist any longer. This is starting to be confusing though. The facts are that the award does exist, and that Jim had been nominated again. Other than that I am n0t certain what the questions should be.
If that were the case we all would be laughing at many of the posts on the board. But I read and listen and try to put things into the Bayport scenario to see if it makes sense. i discount what I think is bogus, and try to analysis what I think is true.
I do not think he has a long enough track record to qualify him for the Micro-cap Ethical CEO of the YEAR award. Maybe next year. The committee, or whoever votes, would need to track his actions.
I guess that was what had happened, until as someone posted here....maybe a few people, that Shainberg was no longer a CEO. Therefore he would not qualify anymore. But, your guess on that is as good as mine.
I am a shareholder, and am comfortable with what the company is doing. Aren't you? Whether they announce it the same day, the day after, or the day after that, I just want to be comfortable that no one is getting that information to trade on before me. Why would I care otherwise. The playing field would be equal.
If I posted that it does not exist, then I wrote it wrong. Please let me know where that one was posted. As to voting, as I understood it, the public does not vote, but maybe some CEOs, or maybe just a committee. Not sure why this has become an issue for anyone, as we know that Porter, even if he does not win, is an ethical CEO.
I guess you missed the point. The award did and does exist. They just do not post info on the web about it any longer, in order to protect the participants. But that is not relevant to Bayport. It is however relevant to Mr Porter.
I am not sure where that Friday originated from, but all I was saying was another couple of days, on an investment that to me is long term, is fine with me. If someone said end of month or end of quarter, I would say that is fine for this kind of situation. But, right now lets go with end of week. Not my words here, but something to look for without prejudice.
Right back....I agree, enough already. It did exist, just not now. It has been explained as to why it was pulled. The embarrassment is not from Porter, as he is bigger than that. It is from others.
Wrong. Just because one cannot find it today does not mean that it did not exist. Why would James Porter being nominated and not winning be an embarrassment? I am sure he is not embarrassed just being nominated.
Thanks for asking. It was my understanding that they originally had planned to do those two years, but it ran so late, that they decided to get the current years done instead. Not sure if 2011 and 2012 are still going to be included in this. Since my NDA is no longer active, I am not privy to what is going on. I guess we will all have to wait and see. I do not think, knowing the management team, that we have very long to wait. I can read between the lines of many of their PRs.
It is not a fabrication, as it does exist, and have apparently pulled their website, etc, as to not put these ethical CEOs in harms way. That is what happens when one puts too much out there. Crazy people will do all sorts of strange things to stop it from occurring. They call in the middle of the night, etc.
It is great that we are all excited about this upcoming news....but I think I can wait another day or two.
Asked and answered to the best of my ability just a few hours ago....on this very board.

Not until that recent post that I was responding to. Glad to see this is now being confirmed by many here.
I thought I read that James Porter pulled out of the running....is he back in again? New news to me. Where did you read this.
I did not see him post here. What is his handle/alias?
Is the week over???? It is only 'hump day', This is why companies should keep quiet, and let the world find out when they want/need to tell them. Gives me a chance now to put in a buy.
The audit itself is complete, it is the reserve reports, which are added to the audit report that is the holdup. If you have any other information based upon recently published facts, that would suggest otherwise please post them.
