Nice! Thanks Homevendor :o)
Kadin...I see we were mislead to believe Geo, Paul Abbott worked for SN*Y when (link below), clearly says he worked for PMI Gold.... as does his "Linked In" page. http://gh.linkedin.com/pub/paul-abbott/15/b47/732

This says Paul Abbott worked for PMI Gold.

And by the way.... with Paul Abbott's impressive work history I believe SN*Y would love to have him as a Geo consultant... but KAT has him now. :o)
I wonder if that is Paul Abbott there with Thomas Brookes and all the loaded up goodie bags?

Artisanal production conducted by locals has been ongoing on a small scale for some time, but with the arrival of our mine manager Thomas Brookes to the Ekom Eya mine site in July, there has been an increase in activity and planning for a greater increase in production through proper mining techniques has begun.
I agree Homevendor. http://gh.linkedin.com/pub/paul-abbott/15/b47/732
Very impressive work history
BVIG's Ekom Eya site is looking pretty good! And got themselves some equipment! Look at those goodie bags! Thanks for the pics KAT!

Ekom Eya Project
KAT Gold’s project in Ghana is an existing mining operation located on the Bibiani Gold Belt in Ghana. Based on previous drillings, there is a known minimum resource of 300,000 oz, with intersections between 2m-8m of grades up to 24g/t. There is also a waste dump estimated to contain 30,000t with reported grades up to 9.76g/t (representing a minimum of 4,000 oz) and a 60,000t tailings area with sampling results as high as 21.2g/t.
Artisanal production conducted by locals has been ongoing on a small scale for some time, but with the arrival of our mine manager Thomas Brookes to the Ekom Eya mine site in July, there has been an increase in activity and planning for a greater increase in production through proper mining techniques has begun.
Ekom Eya Mining Operation Project Highlights:
Bibiani Gold Belt
Historical mining on property -1939-1941- 30,000oz extracted from 90,000t ore (10g/t)
Drilling on property including 49g/t over 2m and 19.7g/t over 2.1m
Waste dump estimated to be 30,000t with reported grades up to 9g/t
Tailings estimated 60,000t at up to 21.2g/t in Pamunu river
Inferred resource of 1,380,887 tons @ 6.0g/t (266,380 ozs) (based on 17 hole drill results), with intersections between 2m-8m of grades up to 24g/t,
Opportunity for additional drilling

Some new pictures too...
That means Google should be updating the Satellite image sometime soon... Its been over 3 years!
That's awesome!!! The road has been there longer than I thought!
I found out the image from Google Satellite was done March 19, 2009!!!!
Sooooo the 2010 map (from eiddle/B402, Mar 2010) is correct! :o)
Check out the screen shot lower left hand corner with image date! :o) "Imagery Date 3/19/2009"
Just download Google Earth and go to Bibiani Mine area and see the date yourself! if you don't trust my screen shot. :o)
No I am still waiting. At least I haven't see it. :o)
Sorry, The road is there on a few maps.. that is the point that was made.
You need to prove that the road is not there, since the most current show it is there.
See the Maps on Page 14 and 15 of the June 2012 NOBLE Presentation...both on the same report.
http://www.nobleminres.com.au/live/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/Noble-presentation_Earths-Resources_June2012.pdf
Very clear.
The map on page 14 shows the new road to Ekom Eya. It looks white, running directly by the Processing Plant.
The map on page 15 does not. Most likely the map they used to create the map on page 15 did not have the new road added yet....They included showing Ekom Eya Area as Propspective Area (in Hot Pink) though. :o)
PAGE 14 Map
PAGE 15 Map
Another map showing information. From March 2012 Page 9
http://www.infomine.com/index/pr/PB173303.PDF
Ok eiddle....thats fine. :o)
ummmm I am still waiting for a link from you....
Maybe you should, and compare info and maps to the main mine also and the old google satellite image. You may see that the satellite image has not been updated for awhile. IMO
I am convinced.....:o)
When Google updates satellite maps we shall see the truth...
I can wait. :o)
But we may not have to if we get updates from the company first.
B402...link please
2010 Map Cut and Pasted
I just stated that all google satellite images show 2012....the current year.....but that does not mean it is when the image was taken. See Below I am convinced.
Understanding Google Earth imagery
http://support.google.com/earth/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=176147&from=21414&rd=1
You and another posted are the ones that stated that the image is from 2012....so the proof needs to come from you. Take your time....
Also another clue is just looking at the Bibiani Main Mine comparing to current info.... you can see it is quite different now. :o)
NOBLE works and reports at current time...Google Satellite maps don't.
I asked you to prove that the google image is from 2012, as you stated....because I see every image in the world is dated 2012, and Google states (below) most are only updated every 1 - 3 years.
Understanding Google Earth Imagery

When they update Google Maps at Bibiani, we shall see. :o)
Prove the aerial views are from 2012 on the google map.
You can look at any area in the world on Google map and it says 2012 at the bottom. Does not mean that is when the satellite pic was taken...
Sorry.
These maps are from Mar 2012 and June 2012

Please show (link) the map from 2010..(That's great if there is one)
AND google satellite maps are mostly updated every 1 -3 years, especially in areas like Ghana.
