Agree to the fact a micro reactor purchase would have been PR worthy. Think we are caught in a possible what comes first scenario, we need a reactor to prove up our mass production to potential clients but we need a bulk sale to fund the purchase. Hopefully we see a group come in and fund the reactor or potential client takes a trip to access2flow and likes what they see.
I like the progression lately with samples being delivered, we just need one company to take the plunge, if any of the tier one companies feel they may be left behind the move Sony/Dow is making towards qdots then it's only the approval process that is holding us back.

Sticky this post! Thanks Qman! GLTA
Need some cheese to go with that whine? Tetrapods FTW!
Ok, thanks for clearing that up.
I read the info regarding paying a royalty to University of Manchester where Nanoco 's technology was developed , the University doesn't give their research away for free! Be back with the info unless Crunch beats me to it. Glta
Thanks for the great post. Appreciate the time you spent for everyone's benefit.

When QMC announces tier 1 supply deals then we can pop the corks. Hope to see the PRs continue in the next few week so we can sustain some momentum. Good Friday to all.
What we need is new eyes on this stock, I know everyone will say QMC is only worth what the SP indicates but IMO we are a hidden gem that just needs some exposure. Having articles on websites that people actually visit is going to help us immensely. Extremely pleased to see Engadget carrying our news.
Right back at you. Theres a reason the quality posters vacate this board, the whining is unbearable. Same posters over and over, we even have people with 100k invested (allegedly) calling this stock a fantasy....
Like I said.. According to you those just don't happen here, so I guess that makes it easy for you.
Did I say this was a sure thing? No. What bothers me is the comments that all we have is "fluff" or there are no signs on the door at Star Park... There is real technology and substance backing up QMCs claims. Maybe you don't believe QMC has the potential to be the next Apple, but I do. It's funny that you never seem to pick apart the negative posts but feel jump on a positive one instantly.
But Crunch.. There aren't any names on the doors.. Oh my.. Sheesh get REAL people. Met with a client today who invested in a biomedical company when it had a market cap of 3 million, 6 years later had a buyout of 1.7billion. Needless to say we are building him a 12 million dollar home. All we need is a piece of the quantum dot market to be successful, we don't have to be the only producer of qdots. Nanocos scale up technique is unproven also! QMC has technology to scale up at a fraction of the cost with a superior high yield qdot. We have the potential to be the next 3m-1.7b dollar stock. In for the long ride and enjoying the scenery.
Dr Bob brought zero to the company but a nice looking resume. IMO he was extremely over compensated for the one speech he made. Be nice to see a new board member that brings contracts.
Lol here when I see the reactions to trades worth $100s of dollars and the reaction it triggers. In for the long term potential here.

Do you think perhaps LB labs are testing our samples in applications? Hmm?
CARSON CITY, Nev. — Mar. 27 2013 — Quantum Materials Corporation(OTCQB:QTMM) has recently developed and delivered customized tetrapod QD samples for applications being developed by Department of Energy National Lab researchers. As one of the largest sponsors of US technical and military research, the DOE helps move innovative technologies into the commercial marketplace creating new jobs and future industries. QMC has also agreed to supply customized tetrapod quantum dots to a U.S. government defense related agency in support of a nano-biological project
Completely disagree, how did qd vision get their bulb ready for production so quickly? The only thing that killed it was the cost due to lack of mass production of qdots.

Hmm... Do I recall Steve mentioning Tetrapod strain gauges in the video conferencing. Yep! Great post Hawk.
Thanks Qureka. I appreciate your posts as it actually contributes to the knowledge of this investment compared to some here who put a negative spin on any new development.
Thanks Swamp, great post.
False claims? What false claims? Just because you don't give Star Park any merit that means I have to agree? Are you the self imposed Sheriff? Making your own law?
I think the length of time this has taken to reach revenues has resulted in some bitter posters dismissing anything less than a contract as being a waste of paper (or as some call it blah, blah, blah) . My thoughts are you need to clear the "low hurdles" before hitting the high ones
So we are in agreement? Texas State University reviewed our business plan going forward 3 years, all our financial filings all the PR's, our intellectual properties and our key members and then..... Wait for it.... Accepted QMC into Star Park! I don't know what we are arguing about does anyone here consider this a step backwards?
Nice contribution like usual
Vetting is the process of performing a background check on someone before offering them employment, conferring an award, etc. A prospective person or project may be vetted before making a hiring decision
What is your point?
Take a look at the application form and then tell me we weren't vetted before being accepted into Star Park. http://www.txstate.edu/ocir/STAR-Park/STAR-One-Client-Application.html
It isn't as simple as having a check book as some here are suggesting.
Interesting article.

I don't see how anyone here benefits from the "I've been waiting for... years." Did Steve make any guarantees? This is a high risk high reward investment. I am suggesting people step back, forgot the amount of time it has taken and look at the positive announcements that have been released lately. I have been here as long as anyone and yes bought some at $. 21. so I feel your frustration. I remain glass half full and think we are very close to signing supply agreements / joint ventures. Glta
Looks like a lighthouse to me.... http://www.txstate.edu/ocir/STAR-Park/Overview.html
Oh ya you have to be vetted to get in, not just any old boat can dock here!
Danny, the biggest difference was in price. A 55inch OLED unit was around $12,000 while a equivalent Sony 2k/4k QLED back light LCD was $3500. Hands down QLED was the talk of the show. Manufacturers were loving the fact that current factories wouldn't need retooling to the tune of billions of dollars to move to OLED. All that QLED requires is another layer added to current technology. The representatives for 3M were more excited than me lol. All the big players are very aware of qdots. When I spoke to the DOW reps and asked them if they had any applications they were working on involving qdots, they proceeded to turn, look each other in the eye like they were sharing mental notes, then back to me with "we are currently working on applications but nothing we can discuss" I was also surprised at how many exhibitors knew of Quantum Material Corp. I didn't press the issue as Art was working the show floor. Saw him in some deep conversations with the technical reps and didn't want to get in his way. What a great guy btw. Was a great pleasure to meet Art.
3M put on quite a display, first thing you experienced when walking into the show floor was a massive white couch with a QLED screen being compared to a similar display in specifications except for the QLED thin film. Nanosys had their technology in tablets, laptops and TVs. I can tell you one big issue both companies have is scale up. Nanosys is the only one to state they could produce 1000kg in the future but when pressed they admit to having issues trying to scale up and they are still "working" on a cadmium free dot. Sounds like their batch setup will be a huge undertaking. The technology was very impressive and walking around it was noticeable by the conversations that quantum dots was a common buzz word. The biggest feeling I left with was that quantum dots are relevant now and we are at the forefront of this new technology..

Here at the show, watching Nanosys presentation with Art, Crunch and Ex. I will report more later but I am blown away by the interest and presentation of Qled technology.
I thought he was the drunk?... Guess that works too.
Lol, actually its probably more like the three stooges. Looking forward to seeing a qled screen, from the reviews I've read the technology is impressive.
Looks to me like he is clearing out before he gets his ass handed to him by QMC. What kind of CEO leaves their headquarters? Isn't that what you hire sales staff for?
You got it Free, one does not just walk in and rent space at Star, you have to be vetted. The relationship has to be beneficial to the park as well as the business occupying space. Glad to see us move from a paper company to bricks and mortar. Great news!
Your kidding right? Bag on QMC every post and now you want a PP. LOL.
It's no secret that they are moving towards opening a office/lab, what do you think they would need funds for? Hmmmmmm.
Spend 70k on promotion to get 40k for payments? It isn't Management... Who else would benefit from a low SP just before we get to a production stage??
Keep your chin up Crunch, this is just another page in what will be a incredible story.. This SP will be a lost opportunity for some, we are making progress!
Nice find Hawk, appreciate the hard work.. It's building bit by bit folks. GLTA
