Ita-elios.....if Dr. Walker has been telling Bader and I the truth, we will see something happen. I give us until October 31st of this year 2009. That would be six months from the time of my discussion with him....and six months from the National Ambulatory Show that ONCO participated in. He also alluded to several new sizable contracts, solid financials. If no financials are posted and no news comes out, it would mean that all of his projections are lofty at best. That would not be good news. But I remain hopeful.
Great post Chevy. Everyone has to take a position sooner or later. If this works for you, all of my best to you. If we don't see action in the next 6 months, I may join you as this would indicate that Dr. Walker's update to me did not hold water. Then I might take a different position. For now, from my side, I have to sit still to hopefully regain my lost investment. Question will be whether Walker can get the funds and/or interest to launch this business to another level. Time is ticking away, and for some of us, like myself, it's been a long long road.
1.4 million shares traded today..?? Tuesday 5/12. A lot of volume with no press release. Someone knows something.
Bader....wouldn't spend another moment responding to JG's posts. Time will be our telltale. If we don't see any tangible actions within the next 6 months, with all that Dr. Walker had conveyed to me in our last phone-con....then we have some reason to worry. Until then, don't reply to JG....just leave him alone in his pit of anguish. I won't reply to any of his posts.
So now you wonder how successful ONCO's show activities were and who they attracted. Now I have a mental clock ticking. With what Dr.Walker told me, I would say that if we don't see some action in 6 months.....then it could all be a fairytale.
Action translated as:
Posted financials in the black, new contracts, new partnerships and a solid meaningful press release. If none of this takes place, I will begin to lose faith.
Does anyone have any Anger Management courses to recommend to our associate JG...?? Perhaps a straight jacket is more in order...!!
I want to believe Walker as much as you do. I would like to recoup at least 50% of my original investment at 1.75 a share when I bought in during the early days when the stock was booming. So, patience is a non-issue for me. We will know if he has been snowballing both you and me if we see nothing tangible come forward in the next 6 months. Then and only then will I become a disgruntled investor.....right now, I am with you, I see the potential.
Consistent with my Post #4417 and discussion with Dr. Walker. As Bader describes herein.
Note to Everyone: Leave JG alone. He is in his own institution and should be left alone in his cell. I actually enjoy his posts which add color to our current lifeless stock....ha ha ha....LOL...!!
JG....I can't reach you. Your too angry. Read my Post 4417. Now it's a waiting game. I bought in at 1.75 a share.....I have no choice but to push the "patience" button. A rant will get me no where except for a little frustration relief.
Obviously.....certainly not looking for anything to happen by next Monday morning.
I enjoy watching the trades that kick in at .0026 or thereabouts. So, yes, we sit here waiting for some tangible news and/or fresh financials. But for those who toss their stock away, literally for free....the day will come when this stock is trading at .80 - 1.00 and it won't be easily retrieved for the profit that would have been made if folks were more patient at the time.
JG.....we are all in the same boat. Walker is who he is.....all the complaining on this board won't get a bit of notice. So no one says you have to call him, just an open option to any investor interested. I am sure I am in a much worse investment situation than yourself.....but I choose to take the time to have made the call in light of the person we are dealing with. Don't call, your choice.
Anyone wishing to speak with Dr.Walker.....Virginia Executive Offices - (540)822-5161
Chevy is right. Start calling, I made my call and concerns known to Dr. Walker. Can't hurt....although honestly, when I spoke to him, he was aware of his lack of Press Releases, but felt that there was nothing of notation to release, but would be sending some significant info soon. Now, if nothing happens in the next 4 - 6 months, then I have been bamboozled along with everyone else before me over the past year. So, what else to do but sit and wait. At least I was able to draw some news for everyone. I invite you all to call and exercise your concerns as Chevy suggests.
Hey RG...I am sure you could be right about past history repeating itself. No need for any further speculation....either you will be correct and everything Dr. Walker told me will not materialize, or we will see a new trend for ONCO. I am betting on a new trend, and hoping to salvage a past bad investment. Thx for your post, adds some spice and color to the conversation.
Anyone looking to sell at .0025 or anywhere in that arena is in deep desperation for a pocket full of nickels. And I guess a lot of folks who trade the pennies are exactly in that financial status. This is a no-brainer. Just hold and watch your investment skyrocket in a year or two...!!
The technology and product is outranked by many. But that means nothing. If this company was going to declare Chapter 11, it would have done so by now. Too many big players in the mix, and many of them debt-holders....so we will see a rebirth of WFYW in a partnership elsewhere. This stock will not die "as is".....the partners, and if you know the players, will not allow this to go out to sea. They could have called in their poker chips long ago, but that does no one any good to take the hit. This stock will resurface successfully one day.
dtstx.....it will be a long road for sure. Now, all we can do is wait and see. Financials will be key and if they pitch in the right direction, we will see growth. Lot's of disgruntled folks here, I am not expecting a gold rush for at least 1.5 - 2 years. But it will happen, based on the viability of this company and industry they service. And having spent much time on the phone with Walker, at a very professional level of exchange, I believe in what their company is trying to accomplish. Now....we wait for the train to arrive.
The current price of the stock is outrageously cheap. If you believe in the potential of the company. I spoke at length with Dr. Walker....probably spoke about more than I conveyed in the note below. Of course he is the CEO and will naturally be positive....but he gave me enough signs to know that this stock will hit that .80 - 1.25 range over the next 2 years. The stock price is a no-brainer right now, if you believe in the potential of this company. Could become the best penny buy on the market today. We will wait and see.
The most interesting part of the conversation was his desire to stay on the phone with me and continue talking. He is very confident that ONCO will see dramatic partnership growth over the next year. Now we wait and see what actually delivers with all that he has told me.
To dtstx - my pleasure. We all needed to receive an update with more specifics. I am very hopeful now, as my longer term perception seems "on the money"....thx for your note.
Note to Bader & Others who have been on this board for a while - My old handle was Schultz. It expired somehow and I could not renew....so my current handle "Bilachos" is the same person....Schultz. Just fyi to anyone reading this update.
Just spoke to Dr. Walker.
1. Company is now operating at a profit level, no longer at a loss position. His Accounting function is generating new financials to be published to demonstrate the health of the company. New solid financials coming soon.
2. His focus has been a will remain on the building of businesses, not press releases that give us all false hopes. He feels his time and money is best spent of growing the business and not P.R. at this time.
3. They have fired their old attorney and replaced him with a new SEC experienced Attorney. Very positive move for ONCO.
4. There are several new contract partnerships in process which we will hear about very soon.
5. His entire focus is the Brachia Therapy market. His new contracts have been established after demonstrating how partnerships with ONCO will prove profitable for their alliance partners.
6. Major market expansion opportunity is with Ambulatory Surgery Centers. On 4/22 - 4/25 ONCO will be hosting a suite at the ASCS (Ambulatory Surgery Association Meeting) in Nashville at the Gran Old Opry House. Their intention is to attract big players to invest in future partnerships. He is hopeful that this meeting will be a key contact generator for them.
7. I told him I got in at 1.75 a share years ago. He advised that I should expect to see at least 1/2 recovery of that investment as we progress through the next year to two years, which would put us all at about .80 a share.
8. He advised that when he puts out future press releases...they will be significant market movers, not just info that makes folks feel good. He see's solid upward growth for ONCO.
Just like BaderBob, I left this conversation feeling excellent about ONCO's near future. I am a Sr. VP for a major consumer products company and my conversation with Dr. Walker was at a very professional and business level, revealing only that which he was legally allowed to do. I now see, and as I mentioned in the past, a solid company hitting .80 - 1.25 a share in the next 1.5- 2.0 years. I still believe this company will be an incredible winner.
Thx Bader....
Not a word or whimper coming from Center Court.....do you have his number handy, I will give him a call. Last headline was November 10th....long time past. We will hit 3 months of silence in a few days. Question becomes does ONCO have longer term viability...? And does he care one way or another...? You would hope so.
JGVA........everyone has and is entitled to an opinion. Small $$ investment for longer term gain, my opinion. Walker will probably renew his contract from what I know. No rush here on my part....I have made worse decisions. Good luck to everyone.
JGVA.....that's o.k. Here's a worse story. I bought a stock at $3.92 that was headed for $10.00 a share. Dropped $350,000 into it, and it tanked to .0025. Waiting for recovery over past two years, wife has still not divorced me...!! Ha Ha...!!
So now I am piddling around with some pennies, and hoping that ONCO does see some recovery. Glad you only got in at .01.....you will get your money back and much more, just have to sit tight. Anytime you start feeling sick, just think of me and my above nightmare. Bader's comments are fair and level-headed. I believe over the long run we will all prosper from this company, although the CEO does behave a bit erratically. Good luck to us all.
Our stock value is picking up. This will take time, but if Dr.Walker continues on the path of acquisition and partnership building, one day ONCO will see a take-off.
