When was that "announcement" pr'd? I don't recall exph explicitly stating that. I'm a fly-by-night investor. To get the divy, I have to do this?
I called the WW in my city and asked if they were going to be selling cabinetry, and the answer was no. I then asked about installation of cabinetry and was told to call back later to talk to another associate who was at lunch. I'll try later and let you know what they say.
Is it possible that maybe a company like Lowe's would sell the cabinetry and partner with WW as installers of the product? How many cities have both a Lowe's and a Window World? Wasn't the #100 or so stores mentioned for ETC? WW has around 200 locations nationwide. Just a thought...
Been researching WW, what a great addition to the customer base of expo and the etc. brand. I'm definitely more excited about the divy and the company. That said, what a terrible loss for the WW family. Deepest condolences.
Know the players right? One thing I do wanna ask is that 4K has stated her DD has shown her that a "small" # of investors own the majority of issued and outstanding shares here whch is what tossed up the red flag to her after the massive trading that transpired after 9/15. That is why she tracks trades, volumes and the like. She constantly withstands mockery and goading in this venue daily, and that gets old. What if her due diligence is correct? Just asking...
I emailed JDB that Dollar General is opening 600 stores this year. Since using my Crackberry, I didn't fill out the form. Hope others do the same. I'm sure Stanley and Lowes would give expo a good reference.
Dollar General to open 600 stores this year. Hope JD is aware and starts bidding.
Just outta pure curiosity, how many of the 'courteous' 1,7xx are scammies, iyo? Oh and by the way, the stop sign isn't going away for some time, imo. If its taken this long to release 3q, I highly doubt 4q will be done since it ended a mere 34 days ago. Matter of fact, I don't think we've had any better than a yield sign since I can remember. I don't recall the same demand for the lawyer letters then. Just asking...I want fins published timely, I don't want a stop sign or a gagged t/a or any of that. Its not up to me and I don't know what's going on behind closed doors. No one does but JDB and Glen. Ahhh, exph love it or leave it!
Not an accurate comparison at all. The possible 100mil rev possibility was given a long time frame of 3-5 years at full market penetration. Again, that's a long time generally speaking. The enzyme deals you are talking about were touted as pending and practically done deals. Also, there was a phantom .10 per share buyout PR'd. JD has stated that there will be no a/s increase or r/s so to do so now, that would be a nail in the coffin and imo, isn't likely. Lastly, I live 3 miles from the enzyme company, and its literally the size of a Bob Evans, and the same crates or whatever the hell the are have been sitting in the same spots and positions for the past year and a half I've driven by them everyday on my way work. We have our obvious flaws, but don't compare exph to that. Look at SB's posts from summer to Oct, nothing is different with the company, not one thing. Good luck to all sor's
Great article Coach. Sounds like a plausible base for a reorg plan. Excellent read. Thanks for finding and posting.
Builders Square?
I think Veno's point is that the CEO is doing nothing different than he was back during the time of the posts Veno referenced. It wasn't until he stopped putting out, fluff I believe was the word constantly used, PR's. Everyone makes valid points here, has their own opinions, and has or hasn't done their own respective DD. Everybody is happy and singing praises when the pps is high and rising, and when its not, well all can see how sentiments turn. Entertaining, more and more each day. Good luck to us all.
What they can still PR would be the revenue details. That would be nice to know
Please allow this one post of this type for perspective, particularly considering there was some talk of fair evaluations of pps. One pos pink I've watched makes fertilizer and some other crap. They have 2bil+ O/S, $4mil assets, $23mil liabilities, no real growth prospects for as far as the eye can see. The pps is currently .0035ish. I'm sure their are many many more pos's like this trading higher. How?
I do very much see 20% or more so long as A/L keeps closing its gap and the true value of assets becomes known. My only point was I don't want to see some shady accounting practices to screw us like a poster pointed out was tried with wamu tickers. That's all. Hopefully, an equity committee will be formed at some point, and hopefully the Trustee will help see to that. Time will tell, but I am certainly not selling anytime soon. Good luck and enjoy the ride!
Ok let's be real shall we. That article references $22mil contract with FoodLion, correctly pointed out that it was dated 2 months prior to the great "bubble burst" Prior to Sept '08, FoodLion was going to open up a slew of new stores and DD received the $22 mil contract likely to build the dispays for the NEW Foodlion stores. Then the US economy collapsed and everyone not under a rock knows the fallout. FoodLion postponed, cancelled, or whatever term u wanna use and poof, there goes the awarded contract dollars. Now Gamb, thru his DD and confirmed by JD, that the Foodlion gig was delayed over a 6-year or so time-frame. End of story, fact, is the way it is. Geesh
Excellent points my friend. The settlement issue would coincide with what JD told me. When I emailed JD a few weeks ago, I asked him if there were still settlement issues as far as he knew and he told me that he was still dealing some. Now obviously some here do not believe him on basically anything he says, but that's what he told me. It all comes down to who believes what. To me, its fairly obvious that it has everything to do with settlement issues and NOT with actions by JD or the company. Which by the way, there is ZERO proof of...just speculation and proof-less accusations. Hopefully we'll know soon enough.
That certainly is a good thing. How confident are we municipalities et al owned these preferred's? I just don't wanna be screwed by some fat cats who are jealous or miffed by the fact that little 'ole folks like ourselves were lucky enuff to catch lightning in a bottle, you know what I'm sayin?
I am certainly glad you posted that. It would certainly be wise to plan for such occurrence. What can we as small fries do? Your statement that big $ protects big $ could not be more true, no doubt. And, it is very valuable to keep track of the wamu situation as well. Just want to be clear that I am definitely not questioning that post nor motives. Makes perfect sense to me. Thanks much.
It has been my contention that some of these prefd's have to have value by the very nature of the type of security they are. If we could ever find out what foreign company/entity these represent(ed), that could give huge clues and insights. JMO
So you don't see much validity in the yahoo post that they may try and screw us as they tried the wamu's? I'd hate that, hope its something we don't have to worry about. We've come such a long way...
Interesting they may consider some of the preferrd's as creditors. I have always been intrigued by the nature of these prefd's being ADR's ie foreign companies trading thru Lehman. To this day, I have never been able to determine what foreign entities these represent. Holly Dice couldn't tell me, Bank of Mellon couldn't/wouldn't, and the SEC (edit) just referred me to the archives. I do know British Telecom issued ADR's thru Lehman. Maybe with the nature of our preferd's, this could be an indicator why they may consider some as creditors. It sure would be nice to know who these foreign entities are/were, and if they are still actively trading on their home exchanges and are still in business, then surely logic would tell me there is value here. It will be nice to have more clarity over the coming weeks. Balance sheets, reorg plans, let's get rolling. I'm ready for the storm!
Funny you mention that as I was thinking that they boast to have $8mil in face value of C/T's. Hell, some of us here combined dwarf their 8 mil of face with our tickers. Maybe we should pool together and start one of those shell pinks that scam, ahem, trade on the pinks or otcbb's lol. Should be a fun ride for us in the coming months. Those who wanna flip and manipulate better hurry!
Yes, $48bil is an eye-opener. Also in the news article, they expect to gain $40-50bil in the sale of real estate and other assets in the next five years. Very very interested to see the reorg plan tentatively scheduled for end of q1.
Thanx Coach!
Coach, in layman's terms-pun, what does all that mean? TIA
I like that too. The plot thickens. And that reorg plan is tentatively scheduled for end of q1. Curious as to Coach's and Brikk's thoughts.
To be honest, I would've sold treasury shares during the run-up and paid down as much debt as possible, especially equipment. As long as dilution via increased A/S no longer occurs, I don't have a problem with it. I would like to see that email though. Last I knew, he admitted to a poster that he sold about 3 mil shares at .02 during the run-up.
Maybe I'm confused. I thought your and other's contention is insiders sold their converted 325 mil shares. Or no?
IYO, my friend. We shall one day see...
"After they sold $80K worth of stock..." And paid down debt with proceeds. You 4got that important tidbit.
Well tomorrow would certainly be good for one of those to be PR'd. Lord knows we need something else to opine about lol. PopNC used to post that JD likes Tuesdays. Here's to hoping he likes tomorrow
Thanks. I saw Derivitives Order and mis-took them for Derivitives contracts. Thanks again. The recovery amount for 12 transactions is still pretty impressive nonetheless. Edit-potential recovery that is lol
Coach,
Going thru the latest MOR, the last section is dedicated to Hedged receivables. Can you by chance expound upon this? These are derivitives related no? 800+mil potential return outta 100 deriv contracts settled seems to be a ton of money. There are over 6000 open derivitive contracts, I wonder how many of those 6000 are these type of "hedged" receivables. Any thoughts would be appreciated. For some reason, the last part of the MOR really stood out to me. TIA
You bet. Be good. Glad to see the "Governator" again.
How much of a short position? BTW, he changed his alias to the Zen Buddhism name for enlightening or something like that
That's exactly right Braden. Funny how folks always gloss over tha fact that EXPH will make the majority of ETC cabinets. Can't wait to hear who the retailer is!
Congrats on your release.
Here's a little comic relief. Watch out for these bastids on L2 lol

Thank you for that plausible scenario. The likelihood of that scenario is just as good as the likelihood of the other. I'm sure there could be a 3rd and 4th scenario, but we won't know until all pertinent info is provided, assuming it will be at some time. Thanks again
