Glad to see at least a little consolidation.
Hate those gaps up in the mornings, ANY kind of gap, even if the stock traded higher the day before.
Nice and easy does it. 50% gain in less than 3 weeks, that's more than fast enough.
I'd like to add more at the 5MA or 5EMA.
I don't always get what I want lol.
GOOD LUCK TO ALL!
jonesie
Dunno about better.
Yeah, timing sucks. Just when amateur hour in the markets are over ... stockcharts goes "amateur" on us LOL
anybody else having problems with charts
not pulling up in watch lists? Right now?
Well, so far so good.
Learning something from each trade or specific stock experience is a worthwhile endeavor for sure.
My first small buys were on a flyer purely based on doubloon's rec, although doubloon always said "do your own DD".
The operational updates and the company's reported plans gave me the confidence to make the bigger buys sub-$2, and at other points along the way (LOL).
Anyway, so far, so good, at least for the moment. Substantial profits here so far, at least on paper, so I can't really complain.

peeps:
The site I like to use most for support/resistance info does not handle OTCBB stocks.
However, someone (success? I can't remember) posted a link to smallcapcenter.com yesterday and it has this to say about NEOM (among other things)
Support/Resistance
5 Day Support $0.33 5 Day Resistance $0.38
15 Day Support $0.28 15 Day Resistance $0.38
80 Day Support $0.28 80 Day Resistance $0.51
FWIW
jonesie
Thanks doubloon, that's good to know about the lockup.
Well, like I said, only about 10% of the "float" has traded since the PR, I suppose that's no biggie.
I'm holdin' for closer to the $4.50, hopefully it won't take 90 days to get there. If there had been enough volume around $4.25 I'd have exited there.
jonesie
beigledog, if they haven't all sworn some sort of oath not to sell ... why wouldn't they?
ANY price up here is better than the deal gives them. At least the "public" part of the deal LOL.
Still not that many shares trading, so far, since the deal was announced, about 10% of the non-insider-held float of 2mm shares, right? Or am I remembering that number wrong?
jonesie
lonestar:
It's interesting that TDYH had a couple good days of runup on higher than normal volume before the news came out publicly.
That's actually not interesting ... that sucks.
If you figure that those trades were people IN the know buying, and people NOT in the know selling, then the volume in those two days would not represent folks who don't "trust" TDYH, IMO. ;)
Now the volume YESTERDAY and today, that's a different story. It's either folks who don't trust the deal, or insiders selling now to get more for their money (least likely explanation? anyone?). Anyway, about 200K shares have exited since the announcement, representing folks who don't trust the deal at 4.50. What's that, 10% of the non-insider-held float? Not that much of a percentage .. so far.
Oh, wait, I suppose the SOME of the buying preceding the NR could have been folks IN the know, then that started some excitement and folks NOT in the know started buying too.
LOL, wtfdik.

starshine:
re: "There is value in this company worth more than the merger"
LOL, I just hope there is value in this company EQUAL to the PR'd terms of the merger.
Insiders selling a few now to get a better price than the terms of the merger would give them? Just a question, a rhetorical question ;)
jonesie
Thought:
Insiders are slated to get FAR less than outsiders as per the PR on the merger/buyout.
Are some of them selling now rather than wait for that lower amount?
I don't mind waiting a bit for the deal to close, but this is ridiculous if that merger PR is valid. IMHO, that is. I'd love to know what is going on LOL.
jonesie
TDYH not acting like a stock with a good 4.50 deal in the bag for shareholders.
Thoughts anyone?
jonesie
jagman, makes sense.
Cuz I suppose there IS risk!
Where's a good bidding war when you need one!
;)
jonesie
AAI, got it on my radar.
Been waiting for something like this drop for a good re-entry point.
Well, anyone confident the merger/sale will go thru at 4.50 would be a buyer here, nice gain to be had.
Anyone not confident would be a seller, possible crash to endure.
I guess some aren't confident, or there wouldn't be any selling at these levels. Or are those just pink sheet MM games?
As someone stated yesterday, it's kinda weird that the stock didn't immediately trade at 4.50 then flatline there, like a lot of buyouts do.
It's a pinkie indeed! And it will most likely be my last one LOL.
jonesie
'tis weird indeed.
Means something.
Wish I knew what lol.
jonesie
I'm disappointed PPHM didn't fill that gap yet
The one that .93/.94 would have filled.
One more day without a NR would have done the trick I think.
What think on it getting filled now?
TIA
jonesie
Didn't he say CHK was acquiring FOUR companies for that dollar amount?
TDYH could be one of the four and a portion of those monies.
?
jonesie
starshine, your point is a good one.
I'm disappointed for sure, but ... after getting totally screwed in the past by management in a few companies (I mean TOTALLY) ... well, that's what makes me semi-happy here.
But you're right, we all think/thought TDYH could have seen a better price appreciation than this.
I wonder if there's a chance that, with TDYH "in play" with the merger offer, if someone else might come in with a sweeter deal? Thoughts?
jonesie
I wonder if there's a chance that, with TDYH "in play" with the merger offer, if someone else might come in with a sweeter deal?

jonesie
starshine, actually no LOL.
I was serious. But then I may be naive?
Hey, I've been in another company where management never said a word when a stock was running up CRAZILY on overexuberance, knowing full well they had nothing to support the price. But they SURE came out with actual PR's when the stock plummeted from those lofty heights days later, saying something to the effect of "we have NO idea why our stock price is dropping".
So, you think TDYH mgmnt should have let it run on up on what they might have gathered were unfounded hopes?
Always willing to learn here!
jonesie
"They announced because they saw the price climbing and wanted to keep investors informed incase the price ran too high..."
Now that's a decent thing to do, that really is. Ya gotta like that in management. Someone please pass that thought along to management if/when you talk to them.
I'd like to buy stock in any other publicly traded companies that these guys might get involved in. You don't find that sort of pro-shareholder sentiment on every corner.
jonesie
Wow, an unexpected turn of events.
Not terrible, but not nearly as good as expected.
Hey, a profit is a profit, thanks doubloon for the initial head's up on TDYH.
jonesie
That was fun to see lol.
My whole port jumped up in a big way and it took me a sec to find out why.
TDYH at 6.65 at the moment.
LOL
On a 500 share trade.
LOL
jonesie

LOL
jonesie
Surely that ain't a gap from yesterday, is it?
NEOM traded yesterday ABOVE today's LOD, even though it closed yesterday BELOW today's LOD.
Thoughts anyone? I just HATE gaps lol.
GO NEOM!
jonesie
Mmmm, breakout looming?
Weekly
Daily
Daily chart indicators are REAL "purty".
Gotta get out to an appt, would rather stay and watch. -jonesie
Weekly chart interesting.
Indicators in nice or "pre"-nice positions lol.
Up against that downtrendline, where a breakout could occur.
All JMHO. -jonesie
OT: JP, hey, I wanna see!
jonesie
re: PPHM
I put an order in down where it gapped up.
Guess we'll see, I don't hold out much hope lol.
jonesie
Somebody finally whacked that bid LOL eom
"addons include pinkie level 2 and amex although I do not have those"
Thanks, yep, those are the only things I'm missing, everything else I can see. Got stockcharts.com with gazillions of potential watch lists and scanning, I guess I'm all set but for the pinkie/AMEX level II. I'll live.
jonesie
I never can see spreads on .pk stocks.
I've got Level II on my Fidelity ActiveTraderPro, but no info on pinks. That would be nice to see lol.
I'm only in 2 pinks though, so it hasn't been a big deal.
jonesie
And getting more "undervalued" by the day.
What would you like me to change the IR contact info to? Teng's info? I remember him, I emailed him back when the stock first started tanking, he had no idea what was going on.
I haven't kept up with CHID too much other than price and chart ... and wondering why seemingly good news is greeted with high volume and declining share price.
regards,
jonesie
LOL, "only".
But what's it up ON? Why?
Trying to remember what doubloon's target is lol.
jonesie
Oh yeah, I see it! GO TDYH!!
