Do you think the 2 500k orders were buys at the bid? Maybe MM's are selling to each other?
Shamika up 17% on news this morning.
NEWS:
MONTREAL, Mar 8, 2011 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX) -- Shamika2Gold, Inc. (OTCBB:SHMX) ("Shamika" or the "Company") (www.Shamika2Gold.com) announced today that it has acquired 85% of MIG International Mining Group, a Mauritius company, which holds a concession of a gold and ruby exploration license in Cambodia. Shamika acquired the capital stock of MIG in exchange for 57,000,000 shares of Shamika common stock and shares of Series B Performing Preferred Stock entitling the holder to 45% of the net operating profit from the mining project. The shares issued by Shamika will be held in escrow until MIG obtains all necessary production licenses and has commenced commercial production for two months.
The area covered in the license is comprised of approximately 158 square miles in the Samlaut district of Cambodia. A Phase 1 & 2 Survey Report on the area was prepared by Terra Insight Services, Inc., a subsidiary of Terra Energy & Resource Technologies, Inc. and suggests potential for 1.5 million ounces of gold and 9,000 kilograms of rubies.
"This is a historic acquisition for Shamika," stated Robert Vivian, President and Chief Executive Officer. "Shamika's strategy is to discover, develop, and produce gold from potential high-value projects in overlooked and emerging countries. We seek out management teams that are known for their local expertise and the ability to work internationally with a high-growth company like Shamika. The acquisition of MIG international Mining Group brings to Shamika both an exceptional property package, and an outstanding team."
"This acquisition will allow the Company to rapidly advance our Asian portfolio. We expect it to contribute to both revenue and earnings in the next nine to twelve months," added Mr. Vivian.
Shamika has developed an aggressive plan to bring the MIG projects into production during calendar year 2011, and will alert shareholders to further developments in the next months.
Per Hollis during last week's investor webcast "the cost to mine Basin Gulch will be approx 400 oz". Go back and listen to it, call Hollis yourself and ask him just stop with the obsessive lying.
You were also the same person that predicted the price of gold to hit 800 an oz last month were you not?
shorty is desperate. imo
Good to know I am sick of Ameritrade's BS.
yes it prob changed recently as I opened my account early last year.
Agreed and nope no aon. This is rediculous. Using Ameritrade and now thinking of opening another in my USAA account.
I never had a problem until today. Still patiently waiting..
Still open here
Hopefully it's my damn order being filled :)
12200 at the ask since open...no fill yet
I just spit up my coffee laughing...so very true!!!
Anyone new to DGRI or has not done so yet I would strongly recommend watching Dan Hollis's (Dutch CEO) investor webcast from last week. I was out of town and was not able until last night. It takes about an hour and you do have to register but imo he has a great business/mining plan to bring value to this stock and its shareholders.
Current and future mining opportunities as well as potential timeliness and deliverables are all discussed. He's very straight forward and does a great job answering the Q&A portion head on. As I understand he will be updating shareholders monthly on the mining progress. My guess is through that same media delivery.
As far as the noise coming from this board over the weekend, imo its nothing more than that. Do yourself a favor and get the facts from the CEO himself.
Great day everyone,
JT
I'm in Tahoe skiing this week and been watching this go down. I agree it's rare if ever that MMs lose money since they create and control the market. I was not able to hear Hollis's conf call but it sounds like it went well even if the time lines are not exactly what many may have wanted. It gives me more time to accumulate and trade this stock, ultimately increasing my number of tickets for the big show.
As long as Hollis is making an effort to do the right thing and keep investors informed on progress I am ok with a longer term play. I had planned on a three year play anyway. Of course price of gold needs to remain high and honestly does not sound like it's going to be a problem.
I wish it were sitting on my lap hahaha!
1407.95
..although right now I'd settle for just filling my damn order :)
I don't think its too early for BB news. Per previous PR, Hollis mentioned 10k in Feb and BB uplist would go well that filing. imo
Absolutely 100% Agree!!!
That's awesome!!!!
You could be right lobster. I just realized this is a holiday week so Hollis may be waiting for people to get back to work. I am rummaging through my portfolio for the "red headed step child" to free up some cash.
Yea I am teetering on it. Hollis likes AM pr's and I believe he is smart enough to know Friday's are terrible PR days.
Not saying were getting one just that Monday marks the last day of the month.
Is everyone else also waiting for the proverbial pullback this AM to start buying???
To piggy back off your comment if I understand you correctly. My thoughts on why DGRI uplists to the BB is to support those investors that are not able to trade directly on the TSX? Sorry if I am off base on this.
Are you sure your not Hollis's personal assistant?
Let's see you reminded him funds had not cleared for the drilling permit at Basin. This in turn fired off a volley of local PRs for dutch. Btw they are still circulating and you will be happy to know they have been quite positive. Nice job!
Now were faced with the insurmountable challenge of finding a snow plow in Montana.
We dodge a bullet with the funding and now we have a potential snow plow issue. Hollis is darn lucky to have you around.
Amen brother!!!!
The only BS that I see here is the semantics you keep bringing to the board. If your that worried about the share structure then either wait for the filings or for the 10th of March for the share structure update to be updated on the Dutch website.
Its that simple!!!!
Gold consolidating around 1400.00 oz after a day of profit taking, DGRI year end filings out very soon per Hollis, Jungo results expected end of Feb also per Hollis.
I'd say were looking pretty darn good folks! .
Thanks DR as always much appreciated.
Here is a pondering thought. Assuming the unrest in the middle east is fueling the increase in precious metals etc., are we still expecting a pullback in Gold? Seems to me previous conditions have changed somewhat? Thoughts?
Thank you that makes sense. It sounds like Dutch is doing some great PR work in Montana based on recent articles. Should things progress with Basin as planned, how soon would they be able to go into production. Also, would climate effect year mining in Montana? I realize this is only speculation, but with your mining background your guess is better than most. TIA
That seems to be the case. Question for you sir: we have discussed pre production valuations of jr mining companies. I believe the last you saw was 110.00 per oz, in ground, 100% per NI report. What about post production? Do producing companies contract gold futures closer to the actual price of gold?
My apologies if this is not clear I'm on my pda in traffic.
Gold 1401.35
Silver 33.42
Would love to see something like that, if not Dutch than another small mining co. It's unfortunate the majority of our media has an agenda focused on the re-election of our president and not on the American people.
You know DR I am happy to see this story circulating. The US has lost it's north star sorta speak and has become the land of entitlements vs the land of opportunity. Putting aside the fact that DGRI will hopefully make us all a truckload of money, I feel great that knowing that Capitalism has a chance to prevail.
It's interesting a company like Dutch can provide jobs, possibly contribute to bring the US back to a solvent nation and most importantly make us share holders very happy. Kinda newsworthy don't ya think?
Nice find strike. Thanks
Still trade on the BB. My Broker does not support TSX so that's what I will be doing.
Hey man great job keep up the great work!!!
That would be great. I am trying to free up some more money as we speak.
