Daily chart:
So far, the convergence of the longer term uptrend line and the historical support line as provided necessary support.
It will be interesting to see how things go over the next few days.
It was a million share sell below the bid.
Of course, someone bought them.
jonesie
p.s. It wasn't me.
"They are going to have to do something"
Why?
Well good luck to us all, as luck would have it I have to leave at this very moment and will be out a few hours. The occasional quote via cellphone will be my link to whatever carnage does or does not occur.
jonesie
clawmann, I didn't see all the posts yesterday ..
... but did someone say his sale only amounted to about 10% of his holdings? Other?
Thanks.
jonesie
p.s. Someone give aktien a Valium.
Sounds like a lot of shares. Seems like the company would owe shareholders a very detailed explanation of just why that should be done before asking shareholders to vote on it.
Keil's sale, well, if he knew about this, considered it a negative, and sold, that would be some sort of violation wouldn't it? I wouldn't think he'd trip himself up that way but hey, what do I know.
I'd rather not see news like this on a morning where I've got to leave before the market opens and be out of touch for a good 4 hours LOL. Should be interesting.
jonesie
p.s. aktienbraut, try bundling your concerns into one post every now and then, your shotgun blast of multiple 3-word negative posts looks funny. ;)
I CAN'T BELIEVE....!!!!
It wouldn't just go on down to .30 and fill me.
Maybe tomorrow. Want some a bit lower too.
Please.
Thanks.

Wow, 580K trade at .3043 after hours eom
OT: Bingo, Cloud8.
Can someone get Matt to look into this? It's ridiculous.
jonesie
"the big story was the companies micro os and how any company that endeavored to use flash memory in a portable electronic device would need to license the micro Os."
THAT was the joke.
jonesie
ATF:
Are you talking about EDIG? THAT eDigital? The Micro OS company?
That company was always a joke. I know, I traded it a few times based on charts, but as a COMPANY, it was a joke.
Perhaps you're talking about a different company.
jonesie
Adding some here .50-.51.
Seems like there should be some support here, unless this thing is just totally manipulated LOL.
jonesie
Yep, and CNBC will be having guest interviews from CTIA all day ...
... talking about wireless and "the third screen".
Stay tuned!
jonesie
It will be interesting to see.
That 1.60 was on a mid-term uptrendline and had possible bounce written all over it.
Next lower uptrend line sitting around 1.10.
If XSNX were to break the 1.60 I'd have to get right back out and look for a lower entry.
I think.
;)
Good luck!
jonesie
Woohoo, got back in at 1.62.
Wow, there was a buying wall at 1.60.

OT kinda ... CYBR.pk
Any of you penny stock experts interested in looking at the recent trading action of CYBR.pk and guessing just what is going on? I've owned shares of this since it was in "whole" pennies (eons ago), kept them just for kicks.
CYBR.pk was .001 about 2 weeks ago, and today just set a new 52-week high at .07, although it's trading at .05 at the moment.
BK hearing postponed to later in April or May. Company "assets" (???) perhaps being rolled up into some other entity soon (post on RB talking about this, CYBR mentioned at the end ... http://ragingbull.lycos.com/mboard/boards.cgi?board=CYBR&read=413781)
I just thought some of you who had seen a whole lot more in the penny arena than I have might have a guess as to what might be going on, and/or be interested.
If this post is misplaced, apologies in advance.

One would think this might incite some buying of the stock, but who knows. She was just named temporary CEO on Monday after the current CEO "stepped down for personal reasons".

Yu Xi Sun, president of China Digital, was designated by the board to assume responsibilities of CEO and chairman until the company hires a replacement for Zheng.

Sun, who holds an M.S. degree from the Hubei University Law School, began her career as legal counsel at Hubei Xing Yuan Battery Company. She subsequently held a number of marketing positions until she was named assistant president at Shenzhen E'Jenio Science and Development Company. She went on to become vice president, then president of China Digital.
"Historical support and long term uptrendline converging in the .30'ish area."
Trying to get a few at .31, will get more at .30 if NEOM goes there, and more below .30 if possible.
That's not the most perfect strategy IMO, I just want more shares in the .30'ish neighborhood.
Chart says sub-.30 is possible, if/when NEOM should go there some "panic" selling could take it even lower.
All just IMHO and in the spirit of "being prepared".
jonesie
I've got my last lot for sale at 4.20 at the moment.
Have no idea who long it might take to get investors paid.

OT, kinda: "it dont happen overnight"
No, it doesn't, and it probably won't. However, be cautious when applying an intuitive linear view of future time-frames of technology adoption by looking at past time-frames of technology adoption. In fact, the current rate of change in information technologies and in the adoption of those technologies is actually taking place at an exponential rate.
Technological progress is exponential, that is, it expands by repeatedly multiplying by a constant, rather than linear, which is expanding by repeatedly adding a constant. We are doubling the paradigm-shift rate every decade in various technologies and in the adoption of those technologies. The rate of the rate of change itself is accelerating, in some areas it is no longer simple exponential growth, but double exponential growth.
In this particular sector I feel we are just now at the bottom of the knee of an exponential curve ... a curve upon which we will be riding an increasingly "vertical" section soon.
No, not days, or even weeks. But ... soon.

Tri-Valley Forms New Drilling Subsidiary
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Market Wire
11:33 a.m. 03/31/2006
BAKERSFIELD, CA, Mar 31, 2006 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- Tri-Valley Corporation (TIV) has formed a new Delaware subsidiary, Great Valley Drilling Company LLC, to operate its first drilling rig, which it will acquire with the exercise of its option to purchase expected on or before April 14, 2006. Great Valley Drilling will acquire the drilling equipment of Fallon, Nevada-based Equipment 2000. The rig is rated for 8,000 feet with 4.5 inch drill pipe and 10,000 feet with 3.5 inch drill pipe.
Great Valley Drilling joins its sister subsidiary, Great Valley Production Services, Inc., which is acquiring a fleet of workover rigs to service Tri-Valley's growing inventory of producing wells and the drilling of a number of shallow horizontal wells to re-exploit its properties with modern technology to ramp up production. Great Valley Drilling may also utilize the rig on some of Tri-Valley's California properties that have experienced extensive delays in contractor rig availability as well as continuing to service Nevada projects.
"Formation of these new subsidiaries and acquisition of the rig fleet is both a tactical activity and a strategic matter to add value to our shareholders and accelerate the reward to our project investors," said F. Lynn Blystone, president and chief executive officer of Tri-Valley Corporation.
The Company can now service its own growing inventory of producing wells on a timely basis independent of contractor rig availability, and it believes internal ownership of the rig fleet positions the Company as a preferred bidder for the other properties whose owners may wish to sell because they have increasing difficulty in properly servicing their production or drilling new wells.
"At a time when exploration is picking up in Nevada, we will own the only Nevada-based drilling rig. We have used this rig and its crew to drill our 7063'foot Midland Trail prospect in Railroad Valley Nevada last year and appreciate their capabilities under the leadership of the owner, Gary Borgna, who will join Great Valley Drilling as General Manager," said Joseph R. Kandle, president of both Great Valley Drilling and Tri-Valley Oil and Gas Co., the Company's petroleum exploration and production subsidiary.
Kandle noted that while more than 110,000 wells have been drilled around the region of the Company's Bakersfield, California headquarters, less than 1,000 wells have been drilled in the whole State of Nevada, making it an extremely under-explored area, which is now gaining favor as prospective for oil and gas potential.
"While the likelihood of continuing to contract drilling rigs, particularly for deep projects remains the same for Tri-Valley, through the acquisition our own fleet of production and drilling rigs we are confident we will be able to more timely match investment with project operation to accelerate benefit to our shareholders which is our primary goal," Blystone said.
CHID Reports Year-End Revenue Gain of 146% to $12.7M

2005 Net Income up 165% to $0.05 Per Share on Stronger Battery Component Sales
LOS ANGELES and SHENZHEN, China, March 30, 2006 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- China Digital Communication Group (CHID), one of the largest and fastest growing battery components manufacturers in China, today reported financial results for the year ended December 31, 2005.
Revenue for 2005 totaled $12,742,088, compared to $5,182,122 for 2004, an increase of $7,559,966, or approximately 146%. Cost of sales for 2005 totaled $8,971,859, or approximately 70.4% of net sales, compared to $3,629,238, or approximately 70% of net sales, for 2004.
The company reported 2005 net income of $2,624,279, or $0.05 per fully diluted share, up from $453,041, or $0.01 per fully diluted share, in 2004.
Chang Chun Zheng, CEO and chairman of China Digital Communication Group, said, "This was an important year for the development of our company. The strong increases in revenue and net income were attributable to the successful expansion of our product lines to meet the needs of existing and new customers. These results exceeded our guidance issued last April. Revenue was 11% greater than our previously announced revenue guidance of $11.4 million. This growth reflected the continued demand for our lithium-ion battery shell and cap products from the lithium-ion battery cells manufacturers, as well as expanded production capacity, which increased by more than 40%, resulting from the relocation of our wholly owned manufacturing subsidiary Shenzhen E'Jenie to a larger plant in the Xing Lian Industrial Zone. This resulted in increased manufacturing efficiencies and new customer orders. The corresponding increase in cost of sales as a percentage of revenue was attributable to increases in material costs due to the introduction of new product lines."
Zheng also said, "We are optimistic about the year ahead. As previously reported, we have two pending acquisitions that, if completed, we expect will place us strongly into the component market for new 3G telecommunications devices. In addition, our battery component business, currently our core business, is quite robust and we fully expect to realize continued good results from that business in 2006. We intend to update our 2006 forward guidance in the near future."

Daily chart:
Pretty much the same story with the Daily Chart, nothing there indicating imminent "UP". Historical support and long term uptrendline converging in the .30'ish area.
Weekly chart:
Looks like we might just get that shot at some shares around .30'ish. Indicators certainly aren't signalling imminent "UP" at the moment.
rrufff, yeah, that was my thought too, just in case :)
Trying to make "don't get too greedy" my mantra for 2006 :)
jonesie
Added some more at .332 as well ...
... chart is "iffy" on that LOL, but NEOM means a bit more to me than just another chart.
Seems to be a bunch of MM's wanting in at .33 and I'm thinking they just might get their way.
JMHO
jonesie
Well I bought some brewski ...
... figuring if "they" let me buy at .34, "they" would eventually take it at least a bit lower, if not more.
It took until 11:02 but the ask finally dropped below .34, now we'll see if another trip to .30'ish is in the cards (I actually hope so) or not.
jonesie
beigle, I sold some lower than here earlier too, sub-$4 actually ...
... had another stock that was about to run away.
TDYH was definitely a nice one, congrats to all and thanks again to doubloon!
jonesie
I've just been waiting for TDYH to take me out 4.20-4.25.
It just about has, I've only got 20% of my original position left and trying to decide whether to wait or not.
Probably won't, got other places to put the dough.
Thanks doubloon for this rec, buying a bunch around that historical low (1.40'ish and on the way up from there) sure paid off!
jonesie
Daily Chart:
Probably a bit risky, but I added some here (at $0.34/sh) at the intermediate support line (purple, or, lavender? lol) as it coincides with the previous downtrend line which NEOM broke thru to the upside a while back.
Indicators certainly don't suggest a buy, so it's just a bit of a wild hair making me do it, I still don't have as many NEOM shares as I would like to have.
Update on Oil/Gas sector seasonality:
For most of the stocks on the list posted previously this has been a hefty growth period just like last year.
Buying the stocks with IBD Fundamental ratings of A+ has yielded gains on 8 stocks from 1% to 13%, with a couple of small losers, all in one month's time. Taking a flyer on a pick by Stuart (trillong on TIV Yahoo) has yielded a 65% gain in the same time period.
Updated results:
Wow, great articles-finding guys, thanks for digging/posting!!
Now please stop it, I'm getting a little too excited about NEOM and with my doc throwing a nuclear treadmill stress test at me earlier this week and from that coming a fact-finding heart catheterization any day now .. I'm supposed to stay calm!!!!

CHID Executes Agreement to Acquire Galaxy View International
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Market Wire
09:28 a.m. 03/22/2006
LOS ANGELES, CA and SHENZHEN, CHINA, Mar 22, 2006 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- China Digital Communication Group (CHID), one of the fastest growing battery components manufacturers in China, announced today that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Galaxy View International, Ltd., which operates through its wholly owned subsidiary Sono Digital, a leading supplier of 3G (third-generation) communications technology and equipment in China, in a cash and stock transaction valued at approximately $8 million.
In 2005, Galaxy View had unaudited revenues of $6 million and unaudited net income of $2 million. The closing of the acquisition is subject to various conditions, including receipt by China Digital of an opinion from its financial advisor stating that the terms of the acquisition are fair to it and its shareholders, and receipt of customary consents, approvals and opinions.
Changchun Zheng, China Digital's chairman and CEO, stated, "The acquisition of Galaxy View and its wholly owned subsidiary, Sono Digital, will positively impact our 2006 financial performance while significantly increasing our market position within the rapidly emerging 3G technology communications space. Recognizing the worldwide technological shift in the wireless communications industry to 3G technologies, China Digital continues to make a strategic transformation to become a leading manufacturer of high-tech products and technologies to 3G communication systems wireless providers."
3G communications refers to third-generation communications devices, the next technological evolution in mobile telephone and consumer electronics technology. 3G technologies, in addition to voice transmission, allows for data transmission, e-mail, and instant messaging.
Under the terms of the acquisition agreement, China Digital will acquire all of the outstanding shares of privately held Galaxy View for total consideration of approximately $8 million, which is comprised of $3 million in cash and 7,575,757 unregistered shares of China Digital preferred stock valued at approximately $5 million. The shareholders of Galaxy View agreed to a lock-up provision restricting the resale of the shares for a period of five years. Each preferred share will entitle the holder to seven votes per share on all matters to be voted on by the shareholders and will be mandatorily convertible into one share of common stock after five years. In connection with the acquisition, China Digital entered into a registration rights agreement with the shareholders of Galaxy View, pursuant to which such shareholders will have registration rights under certain circumstances. CHID Engages Hawk Associates for Investor Relations Services

PRNewswire
5:05 p.m. 03/22/2006
LOS ANGELES and SHENZHEN, China, March 22, 2006 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- China Digital Communication Group (CHID), one of the fastest growing battery components manufacturers in China and an emerging supplier of high-tech products for the telecommunication industry, announced today that it has engaged Hawk Associates Inc. to provide investor relations services.
China Digital Chairman and CEO Changchun Zheng said, "Hawk Associates has an excellent reputation for successfully helping emerging companies credibly tell their stories to the investment community. CEO Frank Hawkins, President Julie Marshall and the Hawk team make sophisticated use of the latest technology and techniques, including the company's two websites and their proprietary e-mail alert system. With their strong relationships developed over the past 11 years on Wall Street, they have been effective in reaching the retail and the institutional communities for their clients. We look forward to working with them."
Frank Hawkins, CEO of Hawk Associates, said, "China Digital is at an important pivot point in its history. The company is known as the strongest and fastest growing battery components maker in China and should have significant market share by the end of the year. That business will continue to generate solid revenue and profit growth. Within the past month, however, the company has announced agreements to acquire two Chinese telecommunications equipment and technology companies that should propel China Digital profitably into the 3G telecommunications space in Asia. Galaxy View International, which owns Sono Digital, has said that Sono produced approximately $6 million in revenue and $2 million in net earnings in 2005. Zhou Tong has said the company produced $5.4 million in 2005 revenue and $1.85 million in net income. The successful closing of these two acquisitions would position China Digital for strong and profitable growth and open further opportunities in the exploding Chinese telecommunications market. The closing of both agreements is pending subject to completion of customary audits, financial due diligence and receipt of normal consents, approvals and opinions."
