And what was their WMD?
I see an attack on the United States as a possibility. Not necessarily nuclear but perhaps cyber or biological...Both of which could be devastating and would be an act of war.
"Or do you think we should nuke anyone at anytime we feel the urge?" No I don't. However, its advantageous for us to have them think we will. Don't you agree?
Gump.."Shake out a lot of the oldtime holders now". How do you know that? Explain please.
Our President is dangerous to America....President Obama, fresh off the announcement of agreement with Russia to reduce nuclear arms stockpiles, plans to unveil a nuclear weapons strategy Tuesday that will limit the United States' potential uses of such weapons -- even in self defense. WHAT????
Are Muslims exempt from healthcare law....The new Obamacare legislation that was forced on unwilling Americans specifically mandates that we all purchase health insurance. That is, unless you don’t believe in that sort of thing. That’s right, the current health care bill contains a clause which exempts certain individuals form the requirements and penalties set forth in it...http://www.propeller.com/story/2010/03/29/muslims-exempt-from-obamacare/
I wonder if obama would do this against GM?..........WASHINGTON -- The U.S. Transportation Department says it is seeking the maximum penalty of $16 million against Toyota for failing to notify the government promptly about defective gas pedals among its vehicles.
Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood says the department has evidence that Toyota knew of the problem with sticking accelerators in late September but did not recall cars until late January.
The fine would be the largest civil penalty ever issued to an automaker by the government.
Toyota has two weeks to accept or contest the $16.375 million penalty.
Toyota has recalled more than 6 million vehicles in the United States and more than 8 million worldwide, because of acceleration problems in multiple models and braking issues in the Prius hybrid.
Obama drove a Chrysler 300 with a V-8 engine (18 mpg) until last summer, when he switched to a Ford Escape hybrid (30 mpg) after getting bad press about driving a gas guzzler. Do as I say not as I do.
As a kid I had a '69 GTO, 400 w/4 on the floor. Wish I had that now. Blow some of these rice-burners off the road.

A strong earthquake south of the U.S.-Mexico border Sunday shook high-rises in downtown Los Angeles and San Diego and was felt across Southern California and Arizona, but there were no immediate reports of major damage.
The 6.9 magnitude quake struck at 3:40 p.m in Baja California, Mexico, about 19 miles southeast of Mexicali, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The area was hit by magnitude 3.0 quakes all week. THAT DAMN GLOBAL WARMING AGAIN...LEFT-WING LIBERAL IDIOTS...LOL! http://www.livescience.com/environment/070830_gw_quakes.html
obama's ultimate goal..........http://www.csa.com/discoveryguides/china/images/bicycle.jpg
Washington, Mar 29 -
House Republican Leader John Boehner (R-OH) issued the following statement on upcoming hearings called by Rep. Henry Waxman (D-CA), chairman of the Energy & Commerce Committee, to intimidate employers who are warning that the job-killing new health care law will increase their costs and hamper job creation:
“Throughout the past year, American employers have warned that the health care policies being promoted by President Obama and his Democratic allies in Washington will hurt our economy and make it more difficult to create jobs. Yet now that those policies have become law over the objections of the American people, Congressional Democrats such as Chairman Waxman profess shock and surprise at hearing American employers announce that they will have no choice but to make painful changes to comply with it. The new health care law is a job-killer, and we are already seeing the negative impact it is having on our economy.
“Just as important, the law’s new cost increases and mandates are forcing employers to consider dropping health coverage for their employees and retirees altogether, which would force even more Americans into the unsustainable Medicare and Medicaid systems. Instead of interrogating America's private sector job creators, Congress should be listening to them, heeding their warnings about the effects of this deeply flawed new law, and replacing it with reforms that will help them get back to creating jobs.”
In a memo sent to House Republicans last Thursday, Leader Boehner urged Republicans to focus on the economy as they discuss the new health care law with their constituents during the congressional district work period. In the memo, entitled “Where are the Jobs? Not in President Obama’s Health Care Law,” Boehner echoed more than 100 economists who have warned that President Obama’s massive new law will hurt the economy and make job creation more difficult at a time of nearly double-digit unemployment.
NOTE: In the days after President Obama signed the new health care law, America’s employers began warning shareholders and employees about higher health care costs that would result. AT&T announced it would bear $1 billion in higher costs, Deere & Co., $150 million; Caterpillar, $100 million; AK Steel, $31 million; 3M, $90 million; and Valero Energy, up to $20 million. Similar announcements are expected in the coming days and weeks.
Unemployment Kills
“Economic turmoil (e.g., increased unemployment, foreclosures, loss of investments and other financial distress) can result in a whole host of negative health effects — both physical and mental,” said the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services on its Web site in a recent article entitled, “Getting Through Tough Economic Times.”
The fact is that many don’t get through “tough times.” For every one per cent increase in the unemployment rate (1.5 million people), 47,000 additional people die. These include 26,000 deaths from heart attacks, 1,200 from suicide, 831 murders, and 635 deaths related to alcohol consumption, according to studies by Dr. Harvey Brenner, a public health expert at Johns Hopkins University.
Of those who do survive, many are scarred for life. For example, a 2004 study by the National Institute of Justice found that the rate of domestic violence against women and children doubles and then triples as unemployment increases.
The impact of rising unemployment and other “economic turmoil” on workers is little different than post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) of soldiers and civilians caught in the middle of wars.
Congress too!)
I love my 2008 Ford F-150 4 X 4 Pickup truck. Nothing like the power of that good old V-8! Screw obama and the eco-nuts.
We will see what the healthcare law does for private sector job growth.
Sylvester...FIRST: I said tally ALL the (people died) studies. SECOND: I was being facetious. Chill-out lib.
48,000 of those jobs are low paid (temporary) census workers. http://blogs.ajc.com/business-beat/2010/04/02/is-jobs-picture-looking-better-to-you/
Guam will tip over? Now I heard everything. We don't need to legalize pot...We need to overhaul our public education system.
Sylvester...195,000 people died from potentially preventable in-hospital medical errors in each of the years 2000, 2001 and 2002. If you tally all these (people died from) studies...The population of the United States would be near zero. http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/11856.php
Comrades need I remind you that the States created the Federal government...Not the other way around. Let the battle begin!
MARK THIS POST...obama is a one term President and before he leaves office the healthcare bill will be deemed unconstitutional by the Supreme Court in a 5 to 4 decision.
Then again...Where do you stop. I say federal and state governments need to curb their spending. Oops too late.
Why stop there...Lets legalize prostitution and make some real money. Where do you stop?
Don't you follow the posts genius?
The states are within their rights.
Sorry your highness. Are you a king or a queen?
State issue...Not federal. Sorry try again.
You certainly refer to yourself as "smart" and "intelligent" quite often. Truly intelligent people don't have to do that...do they. Sounds like your trying to convince yourself of something thats just not so.
The Republicans will challenge this bills procedural errors. Some of the challenges will succeed; some will not. Eventually, the bill will be found to be unconstitutional because Congress only has the power to “regulate” commerce. Congress does not have the power to force a person to participate in commerce (i.e. force a person to buy insurance). The Framers limited the federal government’s powers for a reason. All powers not specifically enumerated to the federal government lie with the states. And the states have not enacted a mandate. This bill will be found unconstitutional.
Once again you miss the point...This bill is unconstitutional and will be deemed so by the Supreme Court before the end of obamas only term as President.
The new democrat party are traitors to America...Confronted by an angry Tea Partier with a camera Thursday, an Illinois congressman said in front of several constituents at a town hall that he doesn't care whether the new health care law violates the Constitution, as some critics have claimed.
In a video posted on You Tube, Adam Sharp of the St. Louis Tea Party asked Rep. Phil Hare which part of the Constitution authorizes the government to mandate that all Americans buy a private product such as health insurance. The Illinois Democrat replied, "I don't worry about the Constitution on this."
Well its the topic now. So you agree...Quality of healthcare will suffer with this bill.
A Florida doctor who opposes the new health care law posted a sign on his office door telling patients who voted for President Obama to get care "elsewhere," the Orlando Sentinel reported.
The sign on Dr. Jack Cassell's door reads, "Changes to your health care begin right now. Not in four years," the Sentinel said.
Cassell, a urologist, told the newspaper that he's not turning anyone away.
"That would be unethical," he said. "But if they read the sign and turn the other way, so be it."
A registered Republican, Cassell is providing his patients with photocopies of a health-care timeline produced by Republican leaders that outlines "major provisions" in the health care law -- and he's placed a sign above the stack of copies that reads, "This is what the morons in Washington have done to your health. Take one, read it and vote out anyone who voted for it."
Cassell told the newspaper that a patient's politics wouldn't affect his care for them, but he added he would prefer not to treat people who support Obama.
"I can at least make a point," he said.
Yes he's saving 100,000 unborn babies every year? Saving them from life. Sylvester you prefer lemon-lime or cherry???
Do you really expect to retain "Quality healthcare" for everyone with this bill? Don't fool yourself.
