I'll take your investing advice under consideration. TIA
Wow guy you agree with me Thanks!
So you've never read the filings but post alot here?
You could call IR
So what have a learned so far?
1.David Richards is very astute
2. He may or may not be selling in a year, 2 years or beyond
3. He doesn't know anything about stocks or maybe he does
4. He may or may not like aero
I'm so confused I'll go back to Barron's
http://www.pacificcouncil.org/pdfs/Ricahrd_Barrons.pdf
Really? So now according to your ...what credentials? Should I be taking your investment advice.
and he's still here after 4 years amazing!
You could read the filings I gave you the link
I'll take 30 years of investment funds experience over a annoymous poster
I don't think this guy cares about selling for chump change
I'm sure he'll mention EarnstDD in his next Barron's interview for giving him such wise advice with his money on a messageboard.
So now Mr.Richards is astute? Before you said he foolishly invested his money. I guess an astute persons know what he's invested in :)
So now you don't know what he will be doing you just said he will be selling? I'll just wait for his next interview on Barron's for a more informed discussion
So now he'll be selling and why would he be selling becuase of a annoymous poster on a messageboard says he will? I'm so enlightend right now.
30+ years of investing and now he's made a horrible mistake. Can you tell me what investment funds you've managed? TIA
Really being invested since 2003 and still active with the company? How many pink sheet stocks have 10% owners that get interviewed by Barron's
David Richards is very well-known and respected Stock Fund Manager takes a 9.7% interest in a very small fully reporting pink sheet company(AERO) and you wonder what this has to do with AERO?
I guess you couldn't find any other penny stock investors(other than David Richards) that get interviewed by Barron's for their portfolio's. I guess David Richards is the exception! I wonder what he sees in AERO. Thanks for looking.
Really? Can you tell me about David Richards portfolio and his take on global markets. I suspect he might know something about managing funds and stocks. He's been active with AERO since 2003
Oh you mean David Richards who managed investment funds for 30 years is going to sell all his shares immediately just to take a loss and run in a year... Thank you for that insight. He must of done very well flipping stocks for Primecap Management and Capital Research and Management of Los Angeles. You really should read his article on trends for 2007 esp. for the oil and gold markets. Since you are a DD wizard I'll pose the same question to you. Can you find another penny stock investor who gets interviewed by Barron's for their portfolio? I asked Pietro the same question. I couldn't find any could you help?
TIA
I don't think he is a short term person according to the filings he's been here since 2003. Did you know he invested some of his pension money into it? Very true if I had his money I wouldn't have any worries either I'd be teaching US history at the college level and not caring about what I made :)
Thanks Pete. Do you know of any other penny stocks that has one of its main investors interviewed in Barron's magazine. If you do I'd like to know.
TIA
I'll take my investing advice from folks who have 30+ years of sucess in investing. I also noticed David Richards put fccn shares into his kids accounts...
David K Richards-Everyone should read his articles in Barron's
http://yahoo.brand.edgar-online.com/fetchFilingFrameset.aspx?dcn=0001262463-07-000125&Type=HTML
Here's your filing plus can you tell me what other compensation he got other than restricted commonr shares ... I can't seem to find any
TIA
I really don't think people want to discuss David K. Richards. It's listed in the filings what he's done. He's been extremely friendly to AERO. I guess you become a investing guru by throwing away your money. Oh wait maybe he's not throwing away his money and maybe somebody in the investing world picked up the fact that he's invested here and extremely "well-disposed" to the company. J- you really should do a google search on this guy read the articles that have been published on his by Barron's and a few others. The investments funds he manaaged are also an eye opener.
Really? So a man that is interviewed by Barron's yearly for his investing portfolio and investing insite all of a sudden becomes dumb and throws his money away? Considering that he invested several years ago and converted almost a million dollars to common shares and hasn't recieved any other compensation makes any normal person wonder what does he know. Beside why would he invest his money in a "failing" company unless it not failing. This guy has complete disdain for this market and for good reason. People flip their stocks more than their underwear. He builds wealth through careful investing and growth not flipping stocks or as one poster said "maybe he's shorting his own stock"... Yup he's shorting his own stock for for $130. Maybe it's so he can pay for lunch for Warren Christopher. I also wonder if people follow his investements and try to buy the stocks he is on. According to Barron's it would be a wise path to follow. GLTU and your investing :)
Why? David Richards does very well with his portfolio according to Barron's you should read the article, very good read on the oil and gold market plus some other takes on his portfolio
I think Richards is a socially conscious investor. The Pacific Council seems to advocate abroad approach to trade, human rights and policy
I find it interesting that Barron's interview this guy once a year to see how and where he invests. His article last year was spot on for the oil and gold markets. He seems to invest his money wisely.
David Richards also sits with Mr. Robert A. Malone
Chairman and President BP America, Inc who served on the California Climate Action Registry Board of Directors. Interesting..
David K Richards sits on the Pacific Council on International Policy
Who sits with him?
Warren Christopher Former U.S. Secretary of State (1993-97)
Mr. Robert J. Abernethy President American Standard Development Co
Mr. John E. Bryson Chairman & CEO Edison International
Dr. Irwin M. Jacobs Chairman Qualcomm, Inc.
That's pretty heavyweight company for the 9.7% owner
http://www.pacificcouncil.org/interior.aspx?pageID=About&subID=2
He also owns a place up in Maine on the seacost also according to Barron's. He no dummy in my book
I saw that one also. I don't think he's foolish with his money
He's listed in this filing and his shares were issued when all the other private investors got their's
http://yahoo.brand.edgar-online.com/fetchFilingFrameset.aspx?dcn=0001262463-07-000125&Type=HTML
I don't think he shorts the stocks he owns...
Must Read!
I did a little more searching on our 9.7% stakeholder in AERO
You might be impressed with his interview last year in Barron's. Doesn't strike me as the guy who invests in worthless penny stocks...
http://www.pacificcouncil.org/pdfs/Ricahrd_Barrons.pdf
That's what it looks like to me
Actually that's new to me also!
Aero does :)
If you dig deep enough you'll know why zion's bank is the top of my list
