I don't think I get it. This doesn't sound like a very promising PR. If I am wrong someone please explain why. Thanks.
I just talked to Fidelity. Supposedly I can trade my SOMPF shares myself. They just suggest I call for current prices before I do. Anyone else have Fidelity? Did you get same type of information?
just under 100000 shares Steel58
Fidelity... Here is the reply I got when I asked about my warrants at Fidelity:
I am following up with you regarding your questions about your SOMA Petroleum shares. Due to the complexity of this issue, you will be best served by contacting a Fidelity Control and Restricted Securities Specialist at 800-544-6161 to discuss your shares. Representatives are available Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. Eastern time.
slooooooooooooooooooooooooow day
naked short article on millionaire players club board
I thought the article about naked selling of overstock.com was interesting. Maybe these types of things will finally get corrected
My Fidelity email regarding how to exercise warrants was passed on to a restricted shares person. They said I should receive a response within 48 hours
I talked to someone at Fidelity and they seemed to believe that they could trade the dividend shares so I wouldn't need the certificates. Did you happen to get the same type of information or are we dealing with one of those issues where every person gives a different answer
PR
I think that Larry's plan is to announce sometime tomorrow that the restrictions of the divi's and warrants is being lifted. (At least that is wishful thinking on my part) -- man would the shorts be up the creek then
You don't think this week was interesting?
That's why I didn't sell. The uncertainties! I guess this is more fun gambling this way, than playing Party Poker, which for some reason now seems to be borderline illegal here in the U.S.
We can only hope that on Monday Larry declares a dvidend on SOMA!!!!!!!!!
Mathematically speaking.....
If you had 2 million shares at .006 per share, you spent $12,000 to get in. To get all the warrants, dividends you would have to pay roughly $32,000. If you sold 1 million at point .012 (losing the dividends for what you sell), you'd have $12,000 from sale, 1 million shares EQBM, 20,000 shares SOMA with warrants for 40,000 more. Why take a chance on losing everything when you come out really well either way by selling 1/2. Sure there is a chance you could have possibly made more if you held, but who knows. The only part of the equation is what about the warrants on the shares you sold -- who is responsible? Does buyer get them?
Why no volume then?
I still have a difficult time thinking any long would bail now without knowing the full impact of the dividends. Since the stock appears to be holding at .01, they would still have profit plus dividend if they got in at .006 to .009. Why sell now?
Eldorado Exploration New Mexico Well Progress
09:00 a.m. 12/08/2006 Provided by
IRVINE, Calif., Dec 08, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Eldorado Exploration, Inc. (PINK SHEETS:EDEX) announced today that its Mesa #1 well, being drilled to 7100 ft in Roosevelt County, New Mexico has reached a depth of 6600 ft and is now drilling in the Canyon reef zone. The well will continue to 7100 ft to test several Canyon sands and the Montoya Dolomite at 7000 ft. The well results will be announced after the well reaches total depth and all potentially productive zones have been logged and tested. The well is behind schedule because of slow drilling rates of 5 feet per hour through several thick sections.
From my email to Fidelity about dividend:
The payment for the upcoming EQBM distribution is December 15.
We do not have information to provide relating to the potential distribution of warrants or other payouts. For this type of information, you may wish to contact the company investor relations department.
So, it sounds like I'll have to wait until the 15 to see what they give me, then start hounding them until I see my dividend.
Any trading of SOMA in Frankfurt today? Or is Monday the day it begins?
Where is RedSky???????????
Any SOMPF trading in Frankfurt today? Didn't seem so to me.
Found a few coins in my kids piggy bank.
Tried to buy at .025, filled at .016
Frankfurt Trading
My German is not too good at all. Guess I better learn it quick! From the little I can tell, it looks like SOMA was unchanged for the day? Is that correct? When did trading actually begin - beginning or end of Frankfurt market day?
I kind of thought so as well, but I think maybe he just didn't know a whole lot. I am going to wait a few days to see if we get any news from Larry, then call Fidelity and see what kind of answer I get by talking to someone.
With all the confusion here, I wanted as much clarification as I could get. Again, Fidelity seems somewhat honest in their dealings. At least I hope so.
My IM conversation with Fidelity Sorry for wordiness, but I wanted to send exactly what I receive. I believe Fidelity to be reputable, so hopefully they are not involved with the shorting:
My question: have 510000 shares of EQBM. DIvidend of 1 SOMPF share for each 50 of EQBM. When will I see dividend in my account?
Fidelity: I am happy to assist you. Please stand by while I review your question. Thank you for your patience.
Me:: No problem. Thanks.
Fidelity: Unfortunately, the transfer agent has not given us a date for when the shares will be converted. You can access information concerning this transaction using the companies web site.

me: OK. Can I assume that it is your responsibility to make sure the dividends are in the account at some point. I believe 12/16 is pay date
Fidelity: When Fidelity receives the shares we will post them in your account.
Fidelity: Does this take care of your concerns today?
Me:: If you don't receive them by a certain point, maximum being end of restricted 4 months, who is responsible for getting them into my account?
Fidelity: The company that is issuing the dividend forwards the information to the share holders. The shares should be placed into your account with no problem.
Question?
Does anyone know exactly how many shares of SOMPF there will be. Math says approx 9 million to current shareholders plus warrrants on about 18 million more. How money other shares will be in an IPO?
What else does EDEX have now, outside of MESA?
IGNORE STABILO's 2 POSTS BELOW!!!!!! FAKE!!!!
Conratulations Logan on your success. Maybe you'll be on the list soon!
World's richest people:
1. Bill Gates $56 Billion
2. Steel58 $51.2 Billion
3. Couch $47 Billion
4. WTL $47 Billion
5. Lowman $45 Billion
There are several others on this board just out of the top 5.
Maybe Larry wants it this way. Wait to force the MM to cover the dividend instead of the shorts, then announce deals with China. etc, driving dividend value up, up, up
What happens...
if they flat-out refuse to cover? Who can hold them liable if the SEC won't?
Confused by Dividend... Is this a cash dividend or split off? It seems the dates are different. If the ex-date for a cash dividend is true, we could sell EQBM on November 30 and still keep SOMA stock. What is the pay date of 12/15? Is that when SOMA hits some exchange? Could we sell SOMA on that date or is divident restricted, just like warrants
LET'S GET LARRY'S THOUGHT ON DIVIDEND ISSUE - PART 2!!!!!!!
Forgot to include message to make it easier to follow post:
have two other stocks that have issued stock in another company as a "dividend"> In both cases the shares were issued as "restricted" and still sit in my brokerage account. One has started trading and the other has not. The stock that issued the dividend has been lanquishing ever since. (6 months).
I look at this dividend as a 50 to one reverse merger into another company with the other company about to receive all the assets and this company becomming a "shell". So, if you have 100,000 shares of Equitable" you will end up with 2,000 shares plus warrents of the new company SOMA.
I see this as "pennie" tactic that will pump this stock up for the short term but, in my view, unless some large contracts are secured, will eventually become a "dormant" investment.
I frankly dont know what this "short" covering will eman for the price of this stock. It hasnt really done much to date but who knows what will happen. Peenies have suffered ebcause of stocks like SLJB. I think you may not see the kind of buying that will cause huge price appreciation from brokerage hoiuse looking to cover. I hope I am wrong. JMHO.
LET'S GET LARRY's THOUGHTS ON THIS DIVIDEND ISSUE !!!!!!
As does my Fidelity Account
wouldn't that be 3,000 shares, which according to Larry could be 1.50 euro ($2.75) each?
Prior Dividend for EQBM:
I saw this on EQBM's website from 2004. Does anyone know how to tell if the dividend was ever paid. If so, what happened to SOMA?

If today is the day locked in for the dividends, shouldn't EQBM have much more volume for the shorts to attempt to cover?
Does this mean anything to anyone. Piked up the tool on another board and was curious about EQBM and shorts.
