Wonder if they shouldnt just get out of the sub biz all together and just focus on making streaming movies they can sell exclusively to netflix or something or highest bidder..hulu, amazon. Sub game is over for them i believe.
Well said. Have u heard anything about the rs? Last i heard is that they had votes to do it and then nothing happened.
They should get in With cinemark. Brand the moviepass card with cinemark on it too. Give subs cinemark rewards at any theatre ( of course rewards have to be redeemed at cinemark.) also gets cinemark in the movie making biz. They can do a deal with netflix to exclusive stream the cinemark/movipass films and only played at cinemark theatre also. Papa johns did similar deal on giving customer rewards to eat any pizza from any competition.
Million share dump!
Wonder if Ed is buyin the 2's.
Any word on the rs? From looks of shutdown it was denied. Will be something if they re-open the same time rs goes thru.
Read! U talj time and patience. And dont realize that hmny has none left! They have no money. They cant pay the bills. Wake up.
Clueless
Ha! U point out up over 30 cents a share today...on news today. Exhibition giant AMC Theatres, which is owned by China's Dalian Wanda Group, has added Philip Lader, a former U.S. Ambassador to the U.K., chairman of ad giant WPP and now a senior advisor to Morgan Stanley, to its board of directors.
Lader becomes an independent director as AMC grows its board to 10 members. "Ambassador Lader brings a wealth of successful business, diplomatic and global perspectives to AMC that are highly valued in our increasingly competitive global business environment," Adam Aron, CEO and president of AMC Entertainment, which has expanded internationally in recent years via acquisitions, said Tuesday in a statement.
He added: "His services as the Ambassador to the Court of St. James’ will be especially valuable to AMC given our extensive European theater operations headquartered in London."
Do u not have a clue where hmny stock is at?! I wont take time to paste it.
More traffic for their almost 100% profit margin $5 small coke and $7 small popcorn. And filling empty seats. They are no dummies like these criminals.
3+ bombs no one cares about. Theatre will drop if even carries.
Out of money. And to think these idiots paid a million cash they didnt have for moviephone. Weekslong app update? More lies misleading shareholders. Truth is broke. And rs dillution money being held up or nixed.
Rs must have been halted and now these jokers are closing shop for the holiday summer movie goers; since they have no dilution funds they were banking on to get thru summer with an rs..with an excuse of an undetermined shutdown timeframe of an app update!?! You cant make this stuff up! Embarassing.
Sad..over 2 months ago..maybe he forgot this lie..After a bout of silence I will be coming forward with updates regarding some exciting changes to $SEGI. They include a restructuring, a joint venture partnership, and an acquisition. Making us better equipped to benefit from changes in the evolving entertainment landscape.
Its hard to believe how bad a job Moviepass has done. Almost looks like this was really all just a scam. HERE IS what AMC has done with it.....AMC Theatres(R) Celebrates the 1-year Anniversary of AMC Stubs A-List With More Than 860,000 Members
5:30 pm ET June 26, 2019 (BusinessWire) Print
--A-List members enjoying significant movie-going value
One year ago, on June 26, 2018, AMC Theatres(R) (NYSE:AMC) changed the landscape of subscription-based movie-going with the launch of AMC Stubs A-List. Today, on its one-year anniversary, A-List is by far the No. 1 movie-going subscription service in North America with 860,129 members.
Not sure u know anything ( u post on a board for a stock u have never bought? This cant go to zero with an r/s to be played to keep that from happening. This is prime trade stock right now on a dip buy and sell bounce..here is the dip.
I think zero is the other direction. up another 7+% today.
Up bout 25% in 2 days. He may hold this r/s in his pocket for now if keeps movin up.
Website account suspended again today. Maybe this was the update after bout of silence he tweeted 2 months ago.
Bagholder mentality. Maybe wake up and trade, u might make some of ur money back.
Irrelevant now. Whats relevant is over 17% return on a trade today. Its down from eleven bucks also from back in the day. Also not relevant.
Held up today. Need a replay tomorrow.
Lets see if will hold gains today.
What up on the 10 million shares?
Another up day. Hmmmm
Time for Moviepass to take another crack at a deal with Amc. Amc attendance down over 10% 1st qtr. Ted did say in the past that he may not do an r/s just because its approved. He just wants it handy in case needs to. This is about what he said around time they did the 1st r/s. Maybe he just wanted a green light and have it ready at his disposal; but may not implement.
Amc stock hits new lows!
Got a bit of a bounce before close today...Hopefully some good news to follow.
Background on crook/con Ted. What was Mitch thinking!? https://www.miamiherald.com/news/business/article213952134.html
Movin on. Hopefully will see something on back end of fraud investigation and a perp walk like Madoff for ted. Gl all.
Serious write off for me. Good luck.
Someone arrest the f'n criminals already!
More likely their attorney has given them a gag order so they do not further incriminate themselves while the fraud investigation is underway.
Starting to think the r/s was stopped or not approved. Last time they did an rs it went into effect next day. This time makes as much sense as how they have ran this company.
We will see a new 52 wk low each day with no news. Shocking
Another new low
No news or update in regars to special meeting from co.? Wow!
Oh boy..so just rented "A Vigilante" in redbox today. Its a moviepass film. Soo bad i couldn't watch more than 15 min. ( only could stand that much cuz of Olivia Wild. From what i could find it made $0 at the box office. Limited release in March.
