My understanding is that these messages would have an IP address associated with them. But there are ways to spoof IP addresses, which I suspect will end up being the case here.
I would be interested in seeing who else received that message from that person. I don't think that it is simple coincidence that you and I were the recipients.
ummmmm no, you will have to serve out your sentence...sorry.
I too received a message from that person that screwed up my message list. I directed Bob and Matt to it and suspect that they deleted it.
Lenny,
Yeah, jump pretty much got all of the details right on that one.
Those pointin finger types are a bunch of nutballs.

nice grub....the 92000th post on iHub
Bob,
I think that we can all agree that grubbing is a enlightening and productive activity. However, I must bring it to your attention that the COB concept lends itself to the total defeat of this very noble activity. Let's say that we are coming up to post 1000 on the IH Admin (Bob) thread and after strategizing for days and waiting for hours to flawlessly execute the grub, I run into an evil COB who decides that my grub is offtopic or abusive or something. That evil COB could just delete my wonderfully artistic grub and deprive me and the rest of the readers of a very fulfilling post.
The rest of the arguments against the COB concept are moot until this is resolved.
Yours truly,
JXM
How the hell am I going to get grubs on this thread if you can just go and delete them?
Sheeiiittt, this is a major flaw in the iHub design.
A gaggle of grubbers.
I have a grub in mind for next week...it won't be so cheap though.
sometimes you have to go for the cheap grubs.
I am a strong believer in fewer taxes.
And
Grub
testing
Shouldn't this rumor be backed up with a link to a credible source?
Qthink,
I agree with you about the hierarchy structure on iHub. I bet that there are as many categories as threads.
JXM
And bragging about our trading.
That is exactly what I was trying to say. But what do you expect? Since there is no hot list, that means that I can't get my name up in lights on a tabloid thread...and we know that is my prime motivator for doing that crap.
I haven't posted a grub yet....and I haven't even tried to make a nothing thread yet.
Whenever I want to place a trade, I let my hamster run loose on the keyboard. He has been making all of my stock picks for the last year.
I hear that he likes acorns better than peanuts.
But notice those big teeth....if he latches on to your fingers with those puppies...OUCH!!! Could end your typing career forever.
You would have to have a little respect for a squirrel that can put together complete sentences by dancing on a keyboard.
I posted this on SI today. I am bullish on AOL and YHOO right now.
YHOO may pull back a bit more, but I bought in around $20 and will buy more at 19.50
===============================================
AOL Broke through a quad top today.
http://www.stockcharts.com/webcgi/Pnf.asp?S=aol&N=A&T=on
AOL making strong moves to break the MSFT perceived monopoly.
http://www.marketwatch.com/news/yhoo/story.asp?source=blq/yh...
So let's look at the things that AOL has
-They have their traditional ISP biz, complete with email and instant messaging.
-They have a browser through Netscape
-They have content through TWX....lots of content
...Features
...Television
...Music
...written publications
...Ted Turners library of old flicks
-They have last mile access through TWX's cable holdings (roadrunner). And look they are going international with last mile access with this announcement today.
http://biz.yahoo.com/rf/010430/l30542331_6.html
-How long before AOL starts offering voice/telephony services?
AOL is going for both horizontal and vertical control of their markets. I believe that the moves that they are making can make for a huge conglomerate going forward. But I am surprised that you don't hear more about anti-trust concerns. MSFT has nothing on AOL in this particular area IMO, when you consider the content and distribution abilities.
But then again, replacing Tim Koogle with Terry Semple who is a hollywood mucky muck says that other people see the business model of the future.
http://dailynews.yahoo.com/h/nf/20010430/tc/9332_1.html
And the YHOO chart is saying the same thing.
http://www.stockcharts.com/webcgi/Pnf.asp?S=yhoo&N=A&T=on
I am adding YHOO here, though I would expect a pullback to 19 before further upmoves.

Nemer is one of the kindest people that I have seen online. He is also one of the best traders that any of us will ever run across.
Hi Lisa,
I don't use DWA anymore. I use stockcharts pretty exclusively for all non realtime charts.
AMGN looks very bullish, but it is right up against resistance. I would be a buyer at $57.

Yes, but fame is fleeting....
I smell some grub cooking
Matt,
I think that someday you may prefer the obscenity to the real nasty stuff that doesn't violate the TOUs.
JXM
That's what I thought
My good friend Vendit,
Take a look at this chart. A buddy of mine pointed it out to me. Looks really bullish.

Your Pal,
JXM
Which P&F meetings are you talking about?
Like I said, silliness is part of my charm.
Do you really believe that nobody sees through your smiley faces and southern gentleman facade?
BTW: here is the content of the post that you made to me on your thread and then subsequently deleted. And now you have put it back again.....Wow! it must be fun to be a COB wielding all of that power to change perception.

u]Since you posted this on my thread, I must assume that you consider it appropriate to be posted on your thread.
Yes thank you.
As I said last weekend you are welcome to post your charts and other comments here.
While I'm at it may I ask you your opinion of the "Suspend Poster" feature which is in the works for Chairman on IHUB.
BTW knee surgery MAY qualify you to be a director on my new thread. I'll reserve judgment until I see how many Boobs; Respond to my director offer.
:8-)
Reid
are you implying that I have had a boob job?
Just part of my charm.
Why do you pretend to be lighthearted and kidding around when you are clearly doing your best to cause problems?

A place where 99.9% of the posts are about investments unlike what ALL of the other forums have turned into. A forum without backbiting and child’s play by adults with too much time on their hands.

I read that too. I wonder how many of his posts are stock-related? Probably not the ones he makes here:

Probably not here either:

Nope, not these either:

cOUSIN sHORTY,
Do you know if insiders for BB stocks have to file a form 4 after the 144? This is in regards to the Tuscano Investments' filings for the intent to sell SEVU stock.
Thanks,
JXM
Are you saying that unless I have Tuscano Investments' actual brokerage statement that shows the sales, that we can't talk about them? Are you saying that these are only proposed sales and that they never happened?
I think that she thinks that you are Viperchick....after all, both of your names have "V"s in them.
has Tuscano investments been discussed here?
http://biz.yahoo.com/t/19/6573.html
They sure have sold a lot of SEVU stock.
Aren't you the clever one? A TA thread with a moron trap built into the header. Ain't that redundant?
Yes, I am....also from the thread header:
Other TA methods are welcome and encouraged. This thread is not exclusively a P&F thread, nor is it exclusively a TA thread.
Look Ma! I caught one!!!
