As I recall Ike Sutton told me someone had locked up the national keyword "realestate". I decided to concentrate on "Realtor" for my 2 local area codes. I'm still contemplating a separate endevor utilizing the Go800 technology. I need to meet with a contact that is a multi-millionare to discuss a potential business venture. This technology has so much potential with the right marketing!

I setup DirecTV to record al Money TV shows. So far, Ike Sutton's interview hasn't been aired on DirecTV yet.

Sign Guy...Just curious why you wouldn't try to keep it short and get the keyword "Signs". Whatever keyword you decide on you may want to purchase it for your area code(s) before someone else beats you to it.

Well put Oil9911. My feelings exactly! Besides where's the backup information that they have NO money? Ike Sutton himself told me that they have plenty of money to pay for all the marketing mentioned in the April 22nd PR plus get them through until they are flowing cash positive. He said there's NO dilution occuring.

It all depends on how many responses businesses can generate from their advertizing. It also depends on the monetary reward from a single call and sale. I purchased the keyword "Realtor" for my wife's business for a couple area codes. One single call that turns into a sale would pay for many months of service. A plumber may need a few calls to make it profitable depending on what they pay per month. Some area codes are really cheap. I see this as a CASH COW and have much bigger plans in the future.

Seanknowsall....that's incorrect. They charge $10k/mo for generic keyword with national coverage. A non generic keyword is only $500/mo for national coverage.

I completely agree with you HavnPhun. GOIG intends to benefit from the costly advertizing that their customers will have to pay for. A keyword doesn't do a business any good unless they get the word out about it. All customers will have to advertize so why not ride on their coattails? It's not to say the company won't advertize but rather benefit from larger advertizing campaigns from major customers.

I choose to believe what Ike Sutton told me yesterday when asking him about dilution. He told there's no dilution going on. They have plenty of cash to get them through until they're flowing cash positive. You can believe what you want but back it up with your source.
I think you misunderstood what I said. A company such as Pizza Hut wouldn't have the same problem because they have a national keyword that isn't generic. They pay $500/mo. but if they want Pizza which is Generic then it's $10k/mo.
In my case I purchased "Realtor" which is generic but I can't afford $10k/mo. so I have 2 area codes for now. In 6 months they callers with an out of state area code that are within our area code boundaries will be able to connect to us. I hope this clears up the confusion.

Yes, I'm very impressed that he makes the time in his hectic schedule to respond to his customers and his shareholers.
I replied to Smitty with a PM that gives him the person to either call, text, or e-mail.
Everyone needs to be patient. This service has only been active for 11 days now. Major companies don't move as swiftly as smaller ones. It will happen when they're ready. Don't forget these companies usually contract out to advertizing agencies to develop their marketing materials. It probably takes weeks from start to finish before the customer approves anything.

I talked with Ike Sutton today for 30 min.
Ike is busy working 20 hour days toward growing this company. I truely believe that since he responded to my e-mails on a Saturday and Sunday. He set an appointment to call me and followed through with it. He gave me some advice on keywords some of you may be interested in. A keyword can be 3 digits, either numerical or alphabetical. As many of you know I got the "Realtor" keyword for my wife's business and later found out that people with an out of state area code (within our area) couldn't get connected. I was considering changing it to Go800Realtor but he said that would be confusing. They had tried that themselves and had to change it. He told me that the Phase 2 rollout of Go800 will solve my problem. So anyone calling within our area code 303 and 720 boundaries with a cell phone with a different area code will be able to connect. He said Phase 2 will roll out 1st Qtr. 2011. I'm willing to wait. He mentioned Phases 1 thru 4 so they definitely have a lot of plans! They are pretty overwhelmed right now and he's 100% focused on this company on a day-to-day basis.
I asked him how they're paying for all the marketing and advertising mentioned in their PR on April 22nd. He told me they have plenty of cash from their initial sale of shares to get them though till they are flowing cash positive. He reiterated there is no dilution going on.
I mentioned some of the great ideas that were posted here. He told me they are currently working with 25-30 major companies that will be doing their own advertizing. I think Ike has a grasp on things. All of us just need to be a little patient and let him grow this business. Rome wasn't built in a day! He knows what he's doing.
This is all I wish to share other than Ike was a very cordial person and I trust him 100%!

Cobra my reply from Ike Sutton indicated you can text keywords with spaces and their system automaticly removes them. So if your company has multiple words such as "United Airlines" it would strip out the space for keyword UnitedAirlines.
I'm not trying to be negative, just realistic. If you like I'll discuss this with Ike Sutton tomorrow. We have an appointment and he will be calling me to discuss some other topics. I'd be happy to ask his opinion from the companies perspective if you like. GLTA

One of the questions was "Can keywords have spaces?" so according to Ike in response to your question on Blue Cross being 2 words. He explained the system automatically removes the spaces sent in the text message so bluecross can be texted as either one or 2 words. This should answer everyones questions regarding the use of multiple words.

Boss it's a great idea but you really should go through the company as I did. If you e-mail Pat Kelly at pat@go800corp.com, she'll e-mail you their official logo. They would also want to review all advertizing artwork before publishing. JMO
I've already seen it o0n the website. What we're pointing out is that it didn't air on Direct TV as we thought it would. We're looking for maximum exposure to get more buying from new shareholders. More people watch TV.

I can certainly respect that. I was just hoping to be able to get some insite and advice from someone of your position and background without making it public. I have an idea for a nationwide referral service, actually multiple services that could easily be put into a pennystock shell. I've purchased multiple domain names to coincide with these potential ventures that would utilize the GO800 service as it's basis of operation. I'm thinking Big but once again I respect your privacy. As a customer, all you have to do is log into your account and it will show you a number of calls per area code & keyword.
I agree with you oil9911. This is certainly an ideal trend. I hope it truley does trend like this. Probaly wishful thinking though. You bring some much needed wisdom to this board. I'm tossing around a few ideas. I've got the keyword purchased for 2 area codes but I'd really like to think big and start a new company called GO800REALTOR nationally. It would take $10k/month but with $$$$/Partners and the proper marketing it could sweep the country and you'd be able to sell leads to every realty company in the country by doing nothing more than a referral service. Basically selling leads. I'm sure this could be done with a lot of different things but I'm just relating it to real estate.
Perhaps some of you might want to partner up on a venture like this. Maybe we could buy a pinkie shell and go public too! LOL
In the meantime I'm working on getting local advertizing for Realtor GO800. Holding a few million shares can't hurt!

Exactly! As a customer I have plans for adds on light rail, bus benches, buses, bandit signs, car signs, etc.
I'm a shareholder and also a customer. I bought my wife the keyword Realtor for one area code for her real estate business. Customer support was very quick prior to the launch date. I'm assuming they are very busy right now since they haven't responded to two requests I sent them 2 days ago. First I'd like to add another area code and don't wish to have to fill out all the paperwork a second time. And secondly I asked permission to use their logo in our advertizing and to get an image file from them. I'm still waiting for a response. As a customer I also offered some suggestions to make it easier to add area codes and keywords to existing accounts. I hope they make these changes since it will be easier for both the company and the customer.
I hope to get the GO800 logo image soon so I can begin creating our marketing campaign. BTW....I also locked up the domain name GO800Realtor.com! I remember being quickly criticized by someone on IHub for not thinking this out. Even if this only generates one sale every few months it would still be cost effective. After all real estate commissions can be sizeable. I believe it will catch on and is sooooo easy to remember to "Text Realtor to GO800". This technology is timely for this new texting generation of customers. I'm sold on this company and put my money where my mouth is by holding onto a few million shares! I'm in for long haul.
GLTA and hopefully this board calms down a bit. I'm a little tired of seeing personal attacks and acusations monopolize this board. This board has dramatically changed in the last 2-3 weeks and not for the best either. Many good people are leaving and I can't blame them one bit.
