KissMyBotox.com
A blog site which promotes the Epione Beverly Hills Cosmetic Surgery Center just posted information about LaViv, which is interesting as it does then list it, as a competitor to Botox.
"Fibrocell Wins FDA Approval for Cell-Based Wrinkle Smoother San Francisco Chronicle The drug will compete with Allergan Inc.'s Botox, a toxic injection that relaxes facial muscles, and wrinkle fillers such as Allergan's Juvederm and Medicis Pharmaceutical Corp.'s Restylane that use animal collagens or chemicals."

Maybe. I think it depends upon how you look at it. Perhaps 43% of the placebo group also said they were saddened that Glen Campbell had Alzheimer's. I know I am.
------------------
I'm not a medical statistician and don't know what's considered a *normal* success for testing, what's considered to be a *good reading* above placebo levels, etc.
I do believe that each time a report about Fibrocell is posted in a publication, that a seed is planted in one's mind about the new procedure.
I do believe that injecting yourself with your own cells is something much better then injecting yourself with something foreign to one's body.
I also believe that children are our future...teach them well and let them lead the wayyyyyyyy...

Just to remind me not to be, like you just did. Thanks.

A minister dies and is waiting in line at the Pearly Gates. Ahead of him is a guy who's dressed in sunglasses, a loud shirt, leather jacket, and jeans.
Saint Peter addresses this guy, "Who are you, so that I may know whether or not to admit you to the Kingdom of Heaven?"
The guy replies, "I'm Joe Cohen, stockbroker, of Noo Yawk City."
Saint Peter consults his list. He smiles and says to the stockbroker, "Take this silken robe and golden staff and enter the Kingdom of Heaven."
The stockbroker goes into Heaven with his robe and staff, and it's the minister's turn. He stands erect and booms out, "I am Joseph Snow, pastor of Saint Mary's for the last forty-three years."
Saint Peter consults his list. He says to the minister, "Take this cotton robe and wooden staff and enter the Kingdom of Heaven."
"Just a minute," says the minister. "That man was a stockbroker-- he gets a silken robe and golden staff but I, a minister, only get a cotton robe and wooden staff? How can this be?"
"Up here, we work by results," says Saint Peter. "While you preached, people slept; his clients, they prayed."
Morning Jason and WU.
Market Closed Friday.
Please remember that if you're holding for 3 days due to settlement times, that this Friday, the market is closed due to Good Friday. As such, you'll be holding over the weekend, and that may or may not be something that you were expecting. Just a heads up:

Thank you for this Ken. Good stuff.
Chart, What's with the Blue Jays fan's throwing paper airplanes, golf balls and baseballs at the Tiger's players yesterday? Geez, its only the first game of the year. Any bad blood between them that I'm unaware of?
--------------------
One of the best fan heckles I heard was yelled at Dave Parker at a Cub's game, "Hey Parker, play the line but don't sniff it!"
He laughed at it and each time up, he got a hit and then came out and held up a finger on each hand, as in 1 for 1, 2 for 2, 3 for 3, 4 for 4, and then he finally made an out came back out to play the fied and then flashed 4 for...and then 5 and then smiled and shrugged. Fans left him alone then.
I'm not sure the latest about the "uptick rule", except that any rule that they change, will take months and months to be implemented as they need to update all the computer systems, etc. But its fun for them to talk about on tv.
Say what? Where? Huh?
both all gooooood. I think if someone has another day like today he's going to be posting more dam drunk messages this weekend. (not a digg there at you but jealousy, still fighting this dumbass flu, although I should prolly try whiskey about now. can't hurt).
Any dam thoughts about picking up a small amount of CNO options for April or May?
I believe you'll be needing this for your Vonage pick.
Sorry if my one post threw you off on GGP. Info overload sometimes, and other times, not enough info.
Here's to hoping CNO & VG and others more then make up for it.
Happy Monday. Morning all. Baseball Begins.

GGP: GGP Reportedly Rushes Payday
Retail real estate investment trust General Growth Properties opted to pay its employees ahead of schedule, according to a well-placed banker, stirring up speculation that GGP may be acting in anticipation of a bankruptcy filing. The news combined with GGP's failed bondholder consent solicitation is sending a clear signal that a bankruptcy is possible, added a trader.

wooohooo, because that means i shouldn't be selling mine yet.
take the day off and go fly fishing. happy birthday.
yeah well...I minored in it too, and have many others. It would have been a major, but as they say in the movie Avalon, "You can't be broker than broke." So starting small and working my way up.
Looks like you learned a lot and have a good base to start building from your knowledge. Good luck. Let it come to you.
letsmakesummoney,
We all feel that way at one point. Take a moment, to step back and breathe and examine your past trades and why they were successful or not. A good idea is to keep a short trade journal for each trade and the reasons the trade did or didn't work out. Chart will often list the overall reasons why he's entering and exiting a trade, sometimes the stock starts to deviate from the trend and he's out. You can learn as much from when he exits as from when he enters.
I'm just a student but am learning much by lurking and popping in and asking questions when i'm boggled. Most mistakes I made were in wanting the stock to do what I wanted it to do, getting emotional and not letting it come to me. I've changed my attitude and realized that there's thousands of plays, so if it doesn't fit all of your criteria, wait for the one that does, and that will prolly work much better.
In any given week, there's normally 3 or 4 plays that Chart is involved with, take a gander at each and decide which one works best for you.
The past trades that worked, and the past ones that didn't work are, just that, all in the past. Live, Learn, and today is a new day, so lets go get 'em and become smarter traders.
I was going to say lets become "Swingers", but I hardly know you.
send the bill to jinetic. I hear he's loaded.

$heff,
Some info on aggressive fighting of cancer which has spread to the liver, by basically separating it from the body using balloons. I know you're involved in the medical field related to cancer.
Keep up the good work here on iHub.
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090330/ap_on_he_me/med_healthbeat_liver_cancer
----------------
WASHINGTON – Bill Darker grinned as he headed into the operating room for a dramatic experiment: A super-high dose of chemotherapy dripped directly into his cancer-ridden liver, 10 times more than patients normally can tolerate. Not to fear. Working through small puncture holes, doctors sealed off Darker's liver and washed most of the toxic medication from his blood so it didn't poison the rest of his body.
It's a rigorous effort to fight a notorious killer, cancer that has spread to the liver from elsewhere in the body and left patients with few options and little time.
"I've always wanted to treat this cancer very aggressively since I know the prognosis is very dim," said Darker, 46, who managed to save his eye from ocular melanoma only to have the cancer spread tentacles in his liver. "I just take the gloves off and go for it."
Three times, so far, he has flown from his home in Imperial Beach, Calif., to the National Institutes of Health in suburban Washington to repeat the experimental therapy. Before his last round, Darker's liver tumors had shrunk by about a third.

Thanks and Happy Monday. I hope Prof Q&P is ok.
Depending upon the number of contracts that you are buying, maybe take a few off the top and then let the rest go as freebies? Just a thought to remember. Your instincts seem to be pretty good going into them, so something to think about.
happy friday.

You'll find good info there on Oscillators (which tell you the trends of the stocks, the strength of the trends, etc.).
Great info such as:
7. Learn the turns.
Track oscillators. Oscillators help identify overbought and oversold markets. While moving averages offer confirmation of a market trend change, oscillators often help warn us in advance that a market has rallied or fallen too far and will soon turn. Two of the most popular are the Relative Strength Index (RSI) and Stochastics. They both work on a scale of 0 to 100. With the RSI, readings over 70 are overbought while readings below 30 are oversold. The overbought and oversold values for stochastics are 80 and 20. Most traders use 14 days or weeks for stochastics and either 9 or 14 days or weeks for RSI. Oscillator divergences often warn of market turns. Those tools work best in a trading market range. Weekly signals can be used as filters on daily signals. Daily signals can be used for intra-day charts.

Good luck fellow WU.
alias,
Congrats on your play.
The part that I do care about, is actually why you bought in when you did. Was it news, or was it something on the chart that told you it was ready, or did you just throw money into it as a lotto play hoping that your numbers would come up? And why did you sell when you did too? Those are the things that I like to learn and hear about. Again, nice going!
