I'm certainly hoping for something. All of the PR's and CC's and everything else point to this week being very important for QASP and its investors.
I'm hoping we will not have to bear another round of disappointment and what went wrong...I don't think Mineseeker is going to sit around and wait for QASP to get money forever either.
This may be one of the last times (I hope) that we stand at the crossroads, not knowing for certain whether QASP will succeed or fail. If/when/hopefully this week QASP FINALLY gets big money in its treasury, then sky is the limit. My own financial future hangs in the balance, and I'm pulling for and wishing all the success in the world for QASP, its movers and shakers, and for all of my fellow shareholders.
I hope we have reason for celebration very soon.
I am going to sleep in tomorrow, then wake up and see where we are at. There is no way this is a flat, uneventful week, period. We are going back to sub penny and even lower than before or we will never be in the .01's and lower again...I think the time for just "hanging there" is over.
Thank you kindly Dmost! I wish all of us QASP investors the best, and I'm looking forward to hopefully a great week!
I have my ups and downs with the poetics -- glad you appreciate the expression :)
I just saw that you are in Iraq as well -- thank for your service, and I hope that QASP delivers some happiness to all of us involved both in the U.S. and abroad! I hope you return home with a bigger bank balance than you left with and be safe in the meantime!
This week, I hope, could be very exciting -- one way or the other there is going to be some action...
Peace!
Go QASP!
J
I've missed at least one bright and shining sell opportunity in the .02+ range, and I knew it was a good time to sell -- however, I was in NY and not ready to sit by the computer, and indeed the dip down was far more prolonged and deeper than I expected. The same can be said about the close of this week. That being the case, I have no idea what to expect next week, other than I am hoping for the best because many good people have invested on the basis of DD/trust in Dean, what have you, and it will be a shame for me and all the other good people if QASP cannot deliver, and most of us agree that this week will in fact be decisive, and I believe that is true. That said, I'm happy to hit and sustain .02...as opposed to immediately crashing to .006 and less, perhaps never to recover.
Selling strategies will be a luxury, so please Dean -- I hope you can deliver not only for me but the other good people who "kept the faith"...this week. You gave us the deadlines. You helped frame the expectations, which have been very badly missed in the past...we can only hope the future is now, and now is the time to move forward and prove that not all dreams are destined to fail.
I agree more or less with your assessment Tufan, and I am taking the gamble, as much as I recognize that tails could come up instead of heads. But we all know Dean is getting up there in years, and I think someone in that position would rather go down with a string of successes and making money honorably than as some kind of scam and dilution machine IMO. I've seen the videos, most important, and heard the calls, and I believe in the honorability of Dean a person and the sincerity of his quest here. All that aside, I could be wrong or even if I am right Dean could fail, albeit honestly...all the same we would lose in that case. Success is not gauranteed, but I still like the odds or I would have gotten out already.
Of course. My problem is that I am already loaded, and in fact made too many mistakes already having too much money in the .0155-.016 range when I could have had that same money in much lower...
However I will count my blessings IF QASP does in fact deliver, and I personally believe they have to deliever this week, more or less, or we will all go down with the ship, unless we made it to the exits in time.
I would prefer to hold a while and make huge money, as opposed to just some profit, but any profit is better than a catastrophic loss, so I simply hope that QASP does not crash and burn forever this week which it could.
What do you think is the right time? I plan to track things as best I can to update my strategy...however the key is not to crash and burn this week so as to have the luxury of a *profit taking* exit strategy.
In my experience, the hold as long as possible = (assuming you could have) made a lot of money only to see the pps go right back down or even lower than where you got in...
If we can get any kind of funding, make it public and prove it, and close mineseeker, that's all I care about for this week and by end of July.
WE are doomed if not...apart from that, I take an exit strategy day at a time.
All I care about is that the events of next week are favorable for QASP investors. This week will be very telling. I think there is genuine room for doubt and optimism. Since my luck has been so mixed in life, "god help us," (especially given my track record with investing, although I've had opportunities to make good money ALL of which I had to sell before they crashed to do well on with mixed luck...what are the odds QASP will deliver and remain good over time...in my experience very small, and I hope I am capable of finding an exception and not only that one where I bet so heavily...thankfully I don't have anyone that depends on me)...we all crash and burn in the end...just hoping for some victory and making life easier in the meantime. My life has been rather fortunate in a sense...QASP's success will equal mine, and it will make me far more capable of making a difference in life, as opposed to being yet another victim of the onslaught that reality dishes out every day. I wish all of us investors in QASP the best of luck and am prepared to go down with the ship, knowing that even my assessment of things may very well not translate into real success with so many unknowns. Can Heads come out on this toss for once?
Thanks to all comments in regard to the query I'm replying to, including the private messages that I got (which I can't currently reply to!)...
I will follow up with any relevant considerations. Thanks for yours!
Hoping for the best next week and we can put all concerns behind us!
Don't count your chickens....
Trust me we would both be very happy by that. He owns more than I do!
This is not to say we don't believe the deal is real or anything...just assessing the situation and hoping for the best!
I can assure you I don't want a lower pps. Most would say I own way too much, and I literally have nothing left to invest if pps drops.
However it is important to stay on top of events and know when to hold, when to fold, etc...I have some respect for Emerald, as well as my friend's comments who I take with more authority than anyone in terms of authenticity and mutual concern as investors...that's not to say we could be missing some important information...simply doing our best to assess the current state of affairs.
Who else finds this troubling (the DD posted by EmeraldCityKing09)? Along with the lack of any update and stalled/sinking pps, there is certainly some reason for concern. All reasonable considerations should be entertained, even if you are a long and even if they don't give you the warm fuzzies.
My friend had this to say, for what it is worth:
"I worked as a software engineer on a cash management and currency trading system for large banks. One of our clients was CitiBank. They processed over 100 Billion dollars in swift transfers per day. $100million plus dollar transfers are common for them. I know this because they had us add a payment scheduling feature, and the day they installed it we got a call because they claimed the system duplicated more than 7.4 billion dollars in payments! Fortunately the payments were sent to other CitBank banks so they were able to get the funds back although it still cost them over $300k in interest for the day. Turns out that some payments were made manually earlier than the scheduled ones so they thought that our system duplicated them. All our system did was to make the scheduled payments right on time as designed, it was the manual payments were the problem. Anyway swift transfers and confirmations happen nearly instantaneously once sent, though some banks may have different policies for when they make the funds available to customers (in the mean time they make interest on the money). The key is that the message has to be sent, and if they are waiting for some reason, its not because swift transfers are slow, it's because the Trust Bank hasn't sent it. That doesn't give me the warm fuzzies."
Comments?
By the way I respect your approach and not happy with my purchase (now yesterday) at .0156, among others. I had every reason to take it easy and wait...you don't lose unless you buy...and I had plenty of shares already, and I am way too in this...if it hits, that won't be a problem...so I hope it does hit but am keenly aware of so many reasons it won't happen as expected -- we all know about that if attention to history is paid. Again, like you I believe we've turned the corner, but let's not count those chickens yet.
I'm clearly the more crazy of us two, but also relatively more prosperous if it hits. I admit of a certain uneasiness given the track record here, but given the present "transparency" and all of the now current imminent forward looking statements and my assessment of Dean...etc, for all my reasons, I have both feet in, and I admit a bit of crazy-foolishness for it, but also the one to appreciate if we hit -- it was not completely dumb luck either...I'm no fool --- I could lose it all on this, and I know it.
Coming from you it is saying a lot.
To Da Moon!
I am in way over my head....
hope we all celebrate soon!
I'm so all in that it is disgusting or beautiful, and as some have said there is hardly any middle ground here. I am going to be very broke soon or very well off as I have staked everything, wise or otherwise, on QASP, including my last and less than ideal purchase today at .0156 -- I should have figured there would be a pullback, but if the .014's hold it could be worse, and as long as the story unfolds to our favor it won't matter that much (other than I could've had 14k more shares)...my rise and fall is in exact correlation with QASP's!! I don't think I'll ever be in this kind of position again EVER -- I hope it pays off this one time!
Great concept: Panic Buying...and others who have said it...
Green tomorrow
Cheers to that. Hope we can chat sometime :)
I hear the drums beating...
Question: Dean said they would not borrow more than they needed, would get funding as needed in traunches, right?, but he also said that he planned to have 100 Mil in excess for investing purposes?
I understand some need for liquidity...if they have great investment opportunities, I understand...just checking...just in case an acquisition comes up for cheap and have to act fast?
As long as we close Mineseeker, we're good :)
can't wait to see where this is next week...
do you know how they figure the number of short sales? I assume a sell into the bid is not always a short sale, obviously.
So this means that 9,378,038 shares were shorted today, along with a rising pps just today?
Wow if that's true some people are going to be losing a lot of money real soon -- and I hope it's not the longs!
I bought 160k at .0147 today with the very last ammo I had on hand. Looks like it was a good buy :) (on top of my 300k yesterday, on top of ...)
I love how optimistic you guys are, but no way will this hit $1 by end of July -- I hope I am wrong! I will be happy if we can hit .10 by then LOL
I did not hear Dean state that he *would* max out the O/S with to the A/S...just that he wouldn't go beyond that (wouldn't raise A/S), and that was compatible with he wouldn't need to raise the O/S...just reserved the right to do so if necessary. And yeah I see no signs of further dilution, and it would seem money is in the bank any day!
I have a little coin left but not much...I will probably just put it in tomorrow and hope it all works out :) Tick-Tock
That would be great...contrary to some who assumed O/S would be maxed prior to buyback (based on Dean's comments)-but I didn't assume that...
Now let's hear about the funds in the bank in a PR!
That could be...past disappointments and waiting to see "will it really happen this time?" What is weird though is that volume has been much greater in relatively recent times with similar information but not nearly as close as we are to the "Finish line"...we'll see I guess.
Anything positive from here I am going to love, and if developments are anywhere near your, B*A*N*K*E*R's...optimism it is going to be an unbelievable ride from here!
Do you have any speculation why the volume has been so light right before all of this magnificence? There must be a lot of people on the fence, not buying or selling...there must be some eyes on this, but it is very quiet around here (I did buy more today though).
I hope so, but I would think a R/S will be needed -- we'll see! Believe me if this does even better than I expect I will not complain!
really a $1 by the end of July? Isn't that a bit too optimistic on that time line?
If I may ask...in regard to your prediction of multiple dollars per share on this -- we all know a reverse split may be needed to move up in exchanges at the right time, and that would be ok if timed right and for that purpose....taking that into account...It makes a difference when you predict let's say $5 per share on whatever time line whether that was achieved with or without a R/S.
So, just for the sake of understanding your predictions, assuming no R/S occurred (although it probably will to facilitate moving up), what PPS do you think this may hit by end of this year and/or the next couple of years after that? (for which we can presumably simply times that prediction by two, five, or...depending on the ratio of the possible future R/S?)
Thanks, just curious. Either way we know your prediction is very optimistic and based on (IMO) good DD (even though there are curve balls in life), and I hope you are even 1/4 correct on price targets, and I'm happy :) But if your most optimistic predictions happen -- WOW!
We are already at the many times longer point for many people than they thought previously...I don't know how it can be 5x longer from NOW until we close MS. That is all I care about in the short term, along with enough funds extra to not require dilution and ideally even help some of the buyback along. Dean has stated very clearly, along with lending updates, that this will all be done by the the first part of July. Those are very clear seemingly supportable expectations...5x longer would be scary.
Whether he closes all of the acquisitions by then that he thought he would I care a lot less about....just get some millions in the bank and close Mineseeker, and we're good!
I don't understand why anyone would be complaining right now. If the money is not in the bank by next week and MS isn't closed by then...we should probably all do some "hail marys" and so on, our last rights, etc...then one can complain and worse very justifiably...especially if nothing by first part of July...
BUT I bought 300k more of QASP today and am more all in than ever before, foolhardy or wise I will let fate decide....but I will rejoice or complain etc come sometime in the forseeable future -- but certainly now is not the time....we are at the precipice of major victories or failures, and we simply have to "wait and see" (for those of us who are already in).
Very light volume and tight trading range...it is almost eerie.
Go QASP! Really...please maintain or Go up! I can't even put into words how bad it will be if the longs, including myself, prove wrong to the likes of Boatman and others...that would be worse than a nightmare and one of the worst curveballs I will ever see thrown at me in this life if somehow...
I'm not counting my chickens before they hatch, but I am hoping Big Daddy Dean delivers to all of his Boys and Girls and very soon!
I didn't see any dumping...I wouldn't mind just a little dumping before the big news and run hits...I may be able to buy just a little bit more! Oh well, take what I got to the top otherwise or a lot higher anyway.
do we know the details yet of the shareholders' meeting? bummer on the timing that I may be in Japan during that same time, however (Aug 6-17 or so)...we'll see.
I hope we can celebrate over a beer sometime. I have enjoyed some of your posts a lot. Our time is coming soon!
Well said. I basically agree with you or close enough. It is time for QASP to deliver, or any of us who are longs and still fully in will be in a house of pain, some of us major pain...but more like "hallelujah" for long time if the delivery finally arrives and kicks us off a great reversal of the downtrend and new uptrend (what we've all been waiting for and all the longs predicting what seem to be outrageous pps valuations...) by end of June/early July. Our time (sink or swim) has arrived...I hope as much as anyone that QASP (over)delivers!
PS I need travel money to visit my buddy in Japan in August, so go QASP!
I'm glad you're of that opinion. I'm sure you guys are plenty loaded up with shares anyway, so it's nice that you help out the little guys to increase the chances of helping them get ahead in life ... why not?
I doubt it.
That is truly ridiculous.
exactly, even if they pay more per share, we want the share price up!!!
I agree :)
i was down ll grand, almost 12, but i didn't sell. and i bought more, as much as I could and "more than i should" -- time is ebbing forward...
