I'm partly being funny but serious as well about the alleged surprise we're all supposed to hear about. The poster who told us about the April surprise was more of an imposter with little credibilty, in my opinion. We might well get a little PP, but with such a low float, it will more than likely simply lift our boat to a new level. We have all the news we need to know that POW is highly undervalued and is just rounding first base in relation to the stock price it should achieve. Stan may steal second base with the blockbuster announcements he'll be making this month. We'll be calling him Homer before long. He is the poet laureate of comics after all and knows how to hit one out of the park like nobody else!
Is the surprise the new PP? The French might say Wee Wee and the Mexicans Si Si. I say, not according to my DD.
Spiderman needs to get on that case. Someone robbed Peter Parker to pay Paul when he was on his way to his broker's office to buy some POW stock. Spidey will catch that crook and will crawl the walls until he does! You don't need eight legs to wrap yourself around the bargain price this stock is going for!
We should be at 60 cents well before the end of next week. Stan makes his big announcements on the 17th and we could make a new high before or after that date quite easily. We need some volume buyers to get us moving. Anyone out there who wants to make a quick 40% on his money? I've got just the right investment for you and it's not the Brooklyn Bridge! It's the Stan Lee To Da Moon Express!
12,800 shares traded at 50 cents this morning. Looks like we could be getting a bounce from all the good PR POWs been receiving. Things are looking UP!
Thanks for the insider track on Motley feeling hotly about Stan and his legacy. If he's about to shout it out that POW is the place to be, we'll all be sitting pretty as a French poodle after a good haircut. Muley will be getting goosebumps when he hears about this prospect! April showers bring May flowers but Motley's tale to be told could be worth its weight in gold! I hope someone can get the skinny on this soon but, either way, we're going to have our day!
Maybe Mr. Fool is referring to the well known Stan Lee and products he's been associated with for many years. Some POW creations are well known like the Super Hero TV series, Time Jumper and Heroman is some quarters of the world. But with all the projects Stan is revealing all over the place this year, POW is certain to have a very successful 2010 to the benefit of us all. Three cheers to Stan the Man, Octogenarian of the Year with the youngest heart beating in the comic world today! The happiest of Easters to all most POWster brothers and seesters!
Wow! It sure sounds like the Fools are talking about POW! That describes our little pinkie to a T! If they are referring to our little Marvel, that portends a huge uptick in POWs stock price both near and longterm. Let's hope that the blind brokers of Wall Street finally see the light and get religion on what we've known all along. Stan will take us to da moon faster than I thought! Fasten your seat belts and prepare for launch!
Thanks for helping to push up the pps today, Deeg! You were a big percentage of the total volume traded and we ended at the high of the day! Next week should be more productive after the holidays and holy days are past. Happy Easter to you and all my fellow POWsters! Ham it up on Sunday and get ready to rock on Monday! The best is yet to come and April will be a month to remember for all of us! Good memories, to be sure.
Sure would be nice to hit 50 today before the long weekend. We should be well into the 50s or beyond by the April 16-18 Comic Con when Stan spills the beans. We're finally breaking out of that 40 to 44 cent trading range we've been locked in for so long.
It would be great if the bid-ask spread narrowed a bit. Big volume would be welcome. Anyone for 100,000 shares at the market? Go ahead. Make my day!
The low price on POW today was 4 cents higher than yesterday's low price. If only we can get the high price a bit higher each day until Stan's big announcements in April! Almost all shares traded today were buys and no one really wanted to sell POW at these levels. We're ready for a launch to a new high any day now! I wish we could have a PR put out on the latest news about the POW/Bones collaboration.
It seems that all trades today have been buys so far. If we get to the high 40s we could easily explode to 57 to so like happened last time we finally reached that level! Go POW Go! I knew we were just in the calm before the buying binge storm!
Stan is playing us like a fiddler and perplexing us as a riddler. He'll josh and he'll jive, until we arrive, at the answer and it won't be Bette Midler. (Well, it rhymes!) She's too meaty to be the robot skeleton.
Old Stan wins the gold medal for cryptic messages! He'll be plain spoken at the Wizard convention and there'll be two wonderful things he'll be sure to mention. What he says will supplement our old age pension! He's having his POW WOW with his chief cohorts and we'll soon hear tell of their reports.
Buying POW is a sure bet. You don't have to wiggle the dice to make a profit that's very, very nice! The odds are greatly in our favor and buying POW today is money in the bank! A risk/reward ratio like this is rarely found in pinkieland!
I love to play hide and seek. Especially with Stan Lee!
No doubt that if someone bought 50,000 POW shares at the market, we'd hit 50 cents easily. It takes almost nothing to move this baby up. Look what happened recently when we went from 39 to 70 on almost no news at all! Just wait until we do have some news we can use in a couple weeks!
Stan is clearly hinting at something big he'll be announcing soon. He's a master of suspense like Alfred Hitchcock. We'll soon be privy to the secrets of his boardroom. I think that POW at 40 cents is a similar bargain to when it was trading at 4 cents last December. It's super cheap compared with where it will be trading sometime next month. When it was at 61, hundreds of thousands of shares were being traded a couple weeks ago. Now at 40, no one wants to buy it. That doesn't make sense just like it didn't make sense not to buy it at 5 cents in December. The smart money buys POW right now when it's on spring clearance sale!
Stan will be at 2 major events in the next 3 weeks. He might well release another PR before then, but, either way, there will be a large boost in POW's stock price in April. It could easily double and it's foolish to sell such a stock at this time. We could dip into the 30s this week but we'll be looking back on another run to or past the 60s by May. No one in their right mind would part with shares of POW right now. The wise things would be to buy them up like there's no tomorrow under 50! Otherwise, you'll soon be singing the woulda shoulda dangnabit silly rabbit blues.
Thanks for keeping us up on all of Stan's twittering tweets, Muley! It does seem he's winding up for the biggest pitch he's ever thrown. His cryptic tweets are really striking a chord. He's got great news for those on Board! This coming week promises to be verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry interesting! Stan may well have something to tell by way of a big PR as we March into April. Our fortunes are tied to his and he's dialing for dollars from Disney!
You can wish for POW to go back to the 20+ cent range but that would be a pipedream and you'd have to have some pretty strong hooch in your pipe if you think that will happen! POW is a dollar stock in waiting. When big news hits, it'll move up at lightning speed! Don't look back when there's money to be made up ahead. Get in now or see this stock at 80 cents to a dollar a month from now in your rear view mirror.
No one ever went broke taking a profit, as they say, Badman. Congratulations on your big gain from your POW investment. Maybe I should have dumped my motherload of the stock too when it was 65 cents before it tanked down to 40. That would have been a good strategy as I would have been able to buy it back now at a lower price and make even more profit on the next leg up. You can still make a killing on POW by re-enlisting your profits next week before the surge we all expect in April. POW is both a great short or longterm investment. It's headed much higher and will likely be bought out by Disney before long. Good luck in your other stocks and let's pray that despite our bad economics, people will never stop buying the comics!
At 2:00 central time, POW was trading at 40 cents and the bid-ask was 40 to 44 after being 40 to 49 a second before on 93,000 shares. The low was 38.5 and the high was 48. The volume levels change up and down as I get new quotes over the phone. The system still seems screwed up so maybe that's why some stops were triggered that should not have been. Looks like a good day to go fishing for low priced POW shares!
That's great to hear! Maybe they fixed the system finally. I hope all those 48 and 49 cent trades are now going through! Let's hit 50 by day's end!
I've seen this before. It's just a standard warning and not specific at this time to POW in any way. I wouldn't grow a worry wrinkle over it.
My Scottrade broker says they got a notice that there's been a big problem getting quotes and doing trades in the pinkie stock system today. It's the first time he's ever seen that happen. Maybe the system will come back up later today. We really have a lot to look forward to in April! Stan will be speaking at the big NAB electonics show on April 14th and will reveal at least 2 largescale POW projects at the Anaheim Comic Con on April 17th. Looks like Stan will be a busy boy that week and our stock should be primed for upward action during the whole month!
We actually had an up day here on Thursday. The last trade was down a penny from Wednesday but the bid was up 3 cents over yesterday at the close. Let's really rock this baby tomorrow! That will make for a POWerful week to come!
The volume today must be the lowest in weeks! Maybe one sixth the average volume of the past 10 days. No one feels an urge to sell and few wish to buy a stock 6 cents over the bid. I think we have a Mexican standoff going here. The siesta is over! Time to load up on POW shares for those wanting to make a quick 30 to 50 percent on their money during the next month. Much more if you hold on a little longer. Many will regret letting this one get away!
I feel the same way, BT. The MM should move the bid and ask closer together. That would give more of an incentive to buy at the ask if the prospect of selling liquidity is not so far out of reach.
That's just the "true believers" talking. Those not in the know are doing the walking. There's enough info on this site to make anyone reading it into a human billboard. Yes, we hype and we gripe. But cripe. When you have a winner, you type, type, type! This stock is sitting on the ground floor but there's a nice penthouse suite we're well on the way to! Let's get on the up elevator for the rest of this week!
We were pretty much at this price level on 3-12 when we first broke out from the 30s to 45 at the end of the day. On 3-15 we held at 45 and hit 61 on 3-16, closing at 57. Then to 60 on 3-17, just one week ago when we hit 70 during the day and closed at 59. On 3-18 we went to 61 and closed at 54. It's been all downhill since with a price of 54 most of 3-19, 46 cents most of 3-22 and 42 cents most of yesterday. Now we sit where we started the last big rally around 40. Could we repeat the process once again before the April 17th Comic Con and make a new high at that time?
Let's Rachett it up tomorrow and go out with a Blaze of glory with a Tigress in our tank! With all these movies about to be made, we have our own Stan Lee to thank!
I also think that Stan's "Blaze" is totally separate from the Tinkerbell movie. He's blazing his own path to stardom for this character. I hope we hear a timeline from Stan next month on the filming and release date of that "spectacular movie" he spoke of recently.
I wonder if Stan's "Blaze" character is the one we're seeing in the new Tinkerbell movie. Does anyone know who or what Blaze is supposed to be? I guess we'll know in April when Stan lays out the big plans he has going in connection with Disney. POW should come back to life soon from its recent hibernation. The rocket is ready to ride. The next month promises to be on the wild side!
So right, Muley! The MMs know we have a winner and are busy buying up the cheap shares the no-nothings are throwing away. There's a method to their madness and I'm bullish despite the sharp drop in our stock price the past few days. We can see 60 cents again at the drop of a Stetson hat and we can ride herd with Cowboy till the cows come home!
The MM knows this stock is worth way more than it's trading for. That's why he's not easing up on the ask and selling shares under it. I hope he succeeds in getting folks to buy the baby before it grows up!
I think the spring chill is over and we'll be in the 50s today. Tomorrow with be party cloudy and closer to 60. Then by the Comic Con's conclusion on April 18th, we'll only have sunny skies with a summerlike 75 or better! Tell me weather or not you agree with me about this. That's my forecast and I'm sticking with it!
Profit taking is natural and no cause for alarm for those holding on for higher prices. POW should go back up into the 60s in anticipation of Stan's remarks on April 17th at Comic Con. If the news is of a blockbuster nature, we should see quite a run up on the following Monday. I'd prefer a few more PRs before then, but we do have much to look forward to. POW and Disney seem to be moving in unison more all the time. They seem to be engaged but the wedding vows are still pending. They'll get hitched sooner or later!
We went from the 30+ cent range to 70 cents in a week's time and here we are at 46 cents. Since the most positive news is just ahead, we should see POW in the 60s within the next week or two and higher by mid-April. No need to panic. This is one huge buying opportunity and I'm telling my cash rich friends to get in now before the gravy train leaves the station again!
Right on, BT! No stock can go straight up without taking a break once in a while. We've had an incredible run and the best is yet to come. I'll be happy with a 50 cent base going into the big Comic Con in mid-April. We'll get quite a bounce from Stan's two big announcments he's making there. Let the sellers have their way now. They'll see the price they sold their shares at in the rear view mirror a mile back by summertime!
You can buy POW this morning for around 50 cents. Last week, hundreds of thousands of shares were bought in the mid 60s. What a bargain price POW is now going for with clear sailing ahead! Come on investors! Buy now before 70 cents is the low for the day in mid-April! Or a lot higher than that.
