Long, the P/E is just the number that you get when you divide price per share through earnings per share. So in my table I don't adjust P/E because:
earnings per share go up > price per share goes up, P/E doesn't change!
If I would assume the PPS dind't change then the P/E would become a smaller number...
Or do you mean that we can use a higher P/E because people will valuate GTEC higher because there is more certainty / more potential in GTEC's future ?
Hmmm, still nibbling away that wall on 0.37 but simultaneously the MM's are making it stronger. Will we winn and break the wall of resistance ? Yes we will !! It may take a PR but resistance will be overcome...
All in all its not a bad day so far. Nice volume keeping the 0.36-0.365.
I have posted the one with PE 15 on request of bigplay. Earlier I have posted a table based on a higher PE! I'll post it again because I like this one a lot.
@bigplay777: as you requested with a PE of 15
_bbb_: Thanks for your help. You can see the results of my excel and paint skills in previous posts...
Inspired by Reuters good work I have made an excel sheet to help myself realise the possible future of gtec. Someone has any comment of what's good or bad / right or wrong with these numbers ?
I can be even more positive / optimistic, like it?
I do have a negative scenario with limited growth, lower valuation (P/E of 10), maximum dillution (600 million share outstanding). If anyone wants to see it just ask...
Gues not, right?
Come on guys we need a volunteer! Who is going to break resistance so we can go up and explore the 0.40's ?
Wow, talk about a lot of numbers. It's gonna take me a while before I understand Reuter's PDF completely
But I can't work the ibox, I think only Long can and should do that. I don't want to mess it up. And furthermore someone with real knowledge of investing should look at my calculations before we put them up in the ibox...
Made an excel sheet of the possible pps of GTEC in different scenarios: low or high P/E, low/high growth, 400-600 million shares outstanding. I can make a PDF of it but I don't know if such a file can be used in ibox...
Long-vestor can you use PDF files in the ibox or just JPEG / GIF ?
I bet Crocker Coulson and Elsa Sung are reading this board and others boards too. They'll notice the good start this morning, the little fallback in volume after a flying start. PPS kept up good, allthough we and they, had all hoped for 1 or 2 cents gain. They now are calling each other I bet and discussing when to bring out the PR on the 1st new drug...throw in some prediction of great sales and revenues. We have got momentum, now it's their job to keep things going for GTEC. They can do so by timing the press releases. Once volume is lowering its time to throw in news...
Yep, I "know" it's coming very, very soon: a big PR and good times for all of us!
I wish I could join you and Carl, Bigplay, but I can't play in the "major league". Don't have any free money left, have no other assets that I can sell to invest more in GTEC. So I'll stay a "sub 250k-er"
Nice volume today! Must be news on the way. Or people don't want to mis the ride!
By the way has anyone ever bought research reports about GTEC ? I saw them on Yahoo's page on GTEC. http://finance.yahoo.com/q/rr?s=GTEC.OB
Or are these reports just junk?
Doc_nuance I did about that same math for myself. I am glad more people are getting to think that 1 dollar might even look modest in a matter of time ...
Thanks Carl. Indeed, I hadn't expected a merger. The last year they were doing fine introducing those different companies like lotus and GoldenHorse. And had some great ones (Sino Steel ?) coming I believe. But nevermind, the merger was a bigger, better deal!
Your core position: ever thought about when you were going to sell? I first had a goal set for myself on 1 dollar. But my goal is getting more uncertain everyday. I think we have (much ?) more potential than one dollar. Plus I won't be needing to get my investment back in a short amount of time. (Unless enexpected things happend one never knows, knock on wood)
Pff, that net income is a little confusing. Have to think about that for a little longer...
Chef, I think Carl and Long will both say about the same: a man has to do what a man has to do. No one knows why you had to sell. I mean it's only a little gain of 2 cents per share you have now.
Maybe there is a chance you can buy in cheaper in a couple of days. The past months show this might be possible. Periods of no news have been great times to buy in cheaper. On the other hand there is no guarantee. There is also a (smaller ?) chance that past days are only the prelude for a bigger climb because news is coming / investors are becoming aware / .... fill the dots in yourself. Then we won't be in the 0.30's very long.
Good luck!! But I won't sell you my shares for any price lower than $1. Sorry!
I am glad I am not the only one who sometimes is dazzled by all the numbers all over the different websites.
I hope these sites get their numbers correct in a few weeks. Untill that time I am not going to start another discussion because one doesn't know which site or number is right.
Doesn't really matter, fundamentals are good!
Carl, thanks for elaborating. Nice to see my thoughts were in the right direction. Let's see what happens the next weeks. I guess all these sites will be updated within a month or two. Slowly we are moving higher, things don't have to be rushed.
Have you bought the majority of your shares before or after the merger Carl?
I myself had 12% of my current holdings in GTEC before the merger. After the merger I have added heavily.
Carl you say net incom for 6 months was 11.5 million (and I can see that is is stated that way in last PR).
But when I look at releases on Q1 and Q2 results:
Q1 net income: 3.2 million
Q2 net income: 5.2 million
That doesn't total 11.5 million ? What am I missing?
I can remember how everybody was yelling "Tenbagger" when news about the merger in Oct '07 got out. I've got news for you guys: it has happened already!
Not for me, I didn't have the guts to buy more on Oct. 26th 2005. That's the day GTEC's pps did 0.03 dollar, so we are a tenbagger already!

P.S. Am I alone here or what ?
Long-vestor, about Reuter's PDF: I still don't get it / at least I am confused. Here's my opinion, I do'n't want to be negative or something, I just want to understand the pdf and the calculations that can be made.
Sales/share is a ratio of some kind I would say.
Total (gross?) sales divided by the number of outstanding shares. In GTEC's case it could be 1.14 if they use old GTEC outstanding shares (pre-merger):
100 million sales in 2008 / 88 million shares = approx. $ 1.14 ???? But then I don't understand their numbers for 2007 Sales/share = $ 0.04 ?
Sales (Revenue) Per Share, TTM ($ per share)
This value is the trailing twelve month Total Revenue divided by the Average Primary Shares Outstanding for the trailing twelve months. See: http://www.corporate.globalsources.com/IRS/FGLOSARY2.HTM
I doesn't seem to be their 1-year target... allthough $ 1.14 could be, because it is a realistic pps in a year.
If I use their P/E and EPS it is easy to calculate the pps they use for their calculations: P/E x EPS = $ 0.05 x 6.67 = $ 0,335. Or is this P/E calculated with today's pps and not the pps of fy 2008?
It seems to me as if there is still something wrong with their numbers?!
I can't figure out what I am missing here...(some braincells maybe )
But lets just be glad they are following GTEC and help spreading the word...
We had a good ride today.
It does make you wonder, why last week so much action? All the weeks before so little action despite the news? Is it just the fact that word is getting out? Exposure sure is VERY important, this week has proven that?
Far from the earlier mentioned 5 million, we now total 649k:
bigplay777 348k shares
Long-vestor 116k shares
996 100k shares
doc-nuance 85k shares
How much will we need to have some influence as shareholders?
))
New accountant for GTEC ?
http://biz.yahoo.com/e/080229/gtec.ob8-k.html
I believe that during CC the possibility was mentioned there would be no R/S. I was just adressing Bigplay's "doubts".
I think it is possible for GTEC to uplist without R/S But then we will need exposure, past week could be the first step in meeting the required pps...
Bigplay, don't let the R/S scare you away. It is only being done for a greater purpose: uplisting!! It will do GTEC good in the end and thus it will benefit us...
I am curious also about how many shares are represented here. I own a lot less, but to me its an awfull lot of money: 100k shares. I doubt if we all here represent 5 million, I think a lot less...
Yesterday 16:41, transaction of 5,000 shares @ 0,33
How can you trade after hours in this stock? What happened? Someone knows?
Hope it sets the trend for today, 0,33 would be a nice opening.
Forgot to mention in my story about Apple (see bold item):
By the way. If one cannot imagine what can happen to GTEC as I described in previous post, than look at AAPL. I bought some shares in 2000/2001 (can't tell date/numbers exactly anymore because I don't keep record) for approx $ 23. I sold them a few years ago because I doubled my money, sold them at $ 56 (2004/2005?). It reached $ 200 in 2007. A tenbagger!
Now what do you think has more potential: computerhardware or pharmacy in China ?
I know wich one, and as much as I like Apple it ain't computerhardware...
Yep! 1973

I think that 1 dollar would be great. A few weeks ago I was "certain" that I would sell if GTEC had a pps of 1 dollar. That would make me a very nice profit. But the more I think about it...there is a big possibility that I will be holding on for a large part of my shares if we get to that dollar.
One dollar could even become to look cheap, if we go a few years further in time. Just think about it.
Reasonable pps now would be 26 million / 390 million = 0.067 x 20 = $ 1.33 (if we weren't on OTC that is!).
But lets just asssume uplisting will be arranged this year.
Now lets take a year-on-year growth of 40%. I know there absolutely no certainty in this 40%. But think about the growth they had in 2005-2006. That was a lot bigger.
Multiply that pps of $ 1.33 (reasonable after uplisting, not just yet) with 1.4 for every year further in the future.
End fiscal year 2009: pps $ 1.33 x 1.4 = $ 1,86
End fiscal year 2010: pps $ 1.86 x 1.4 = $ 2,60
End fiscal year 2011: pps $ 2.60 x 1.4 = $ 3,64
End fiscal year 2012: pps $ 3,64 x 1.4 = $ 5,10
Sure, this is all speculation and I could be miles off. But hey, let a man have his dream!
Well, my retirement pension seems to be okay since I will be 65 in 2038
_bbb_: ROFLMAO
$8+ will come by, just don't know when...
Today was a little dissapointing for GTEC, I had expected more.
Long-vestor, I hope we will see a pps of $ 8,62068965 soon, especially for you
You like the multiplying?
Resistance in the low 0.30's. Let's do as The Doors told us:
"Break on through to the other side
Break on through to the other side
Break on through to the other side
Break on through, yeah!"
Oh well, if not today it will surely happen tomorrow or next week. Time is on our side.
O.k. Long-vestor, I had been looking at the E-trade and Reuters site, but you mean your broker is E-trade? Or you are logged in or something. Well I believe you, that's not the problem, but I was wonderings if there was any other info that we didn't know yet...
Long is it my imagination or what ? I sometimes think you have inside info because you always sound so sure.
I hope and expect this is the start of the definite way up. It would explain why Elsa and Crocker made hints on a possible uplisting without doing a reverse split. To meet the required pps that news on 2 new drugs going on the market could be just the thing we need...
Searched the whole reuters website couldn't find the 1,14 you mentioned earlier? Can you post a link to that page/pdf? TIA
Yeah pick up in buying is for sure. I couldn't help it I wanted more shares Should I keep slapping the ask ?
Just kidding.
But I am glad, today seems to be another confirmation that we were right all this time. There's a great future for GTEC..
Goodmorning Long-vestor. That's good news, exposure is getting bigger! Hope we'll have a nice green day.

First uplisting, then a few years of steady growth (+40%), a P/E of 20 and voila in 2010 we will have a pps of:
(20 x 28,000,000 x 1.4 x 1.4) / 400,000,000 = $ 2.74
Looks cool right ?!
PS And for _bbb_ and me lets hope dollar gains value on euro
The million-dollar question is: will it stay this cheap?
Share price has been dropping regularly after news. Since we all have been accumulating more shares at every occasion, I think soon one of us is going to show up in Long's summary of the outstanding shares...
I wish it was me showing up in that list, but I know I won't. I don't own enough shares (yet). But I can't repeat it enough: Fundamentals are GOOOOD !
There is a little delay people, but we will soon be leaving the station...
)))
