Thank you and yes that does line up with my DD. Yes it is a bit risky for me at the moment which is why I keep it on my watch list. What I don't understand are the comments about the use of vouchers instead of samples as a part of the business model. To me that implies the distribution of meds not syringes. The term sample Is a phrase coined by the pharmaceutical industry. Perhaps he is using it interchangeably?
I'm willing to pay a higher share price down the road but I will watch until then. GLTY
No PM but 100% agree
Hey H3 I am long in PCFG as well as the other Jr your in. The gremlins didn't like my statements so I was banned from the other. I follow your posts on both and wanted to express my thanks for your contributions to both boards. Looking for a great week! GLTY
JT
It is interesting and I agree the CEO is in good standing which is why I keep this on my watch list. I will prob buy in for a quick profit but he will have to shore up the fundamentals quite a bit before I take a longer position.
Maybe it will be this week?
I tried to share some logic and personal experience from the pharma industry and was asked to "quit confusing other posters". The filings are far from current hence the yield sign and to your point there are no molecules under development that I am able to locate.
The share structure is favorable so with any buying pressure this will run. As far as funding to commercialize a product? I guess toxic financing is always available unless of course they get current with their filings and actually produce a marketable product. If it's a "me too" product this thing is dead in the water.
JB, the CEO and the Chairman all have performance based contracts.
No PM but I took care of it
Dude I'm not invested here. I hope it works out for you guys
The CEO is an accomplished pharmacist not a sales person. When I worked at Eli Lilly every person had to "carry a bag" at some point in there career. Sydney Terrell their former CEO "carried a bag". Why? Because they work in a competitive business of selling medications in a cut throat industry.
I hope this is a winner I really do. All I'm saying I would want to know especially with the CEO being a pharmacist. Trust me they are not sales people and physician relationships are typically better with reps than pharmacists.
It doesn't matter if you believe me again I'm just trying to offer some insight.
What do want me to say it's gonna make you rich? Insurance companies have formularies, some work through PBMs and then there are hospital formularies to work through. Who's gonna do all of this work. Who has the relationships to get it done? How are the docs gonna know about this product and any formulary additions? They don't automatically prescribe something just an FYI. Docs are creatures of habit which is why most companies use some sort of commercial sales force to provide education on the product. Thus the $$$$$ required or the use of distributors if the compensation model is favorable. Reps wont push something that doesn't pay no matter how great the product may be.
Thanks. I'm not in this play but like to keep my thumb on the pulse of the healthcare industry. I work with a number of distributors in the mid Atlantic and north east so I will keep my eye on this.
Bristol Myers Squibb, Eli Lilly, Cephalon and now consult with Teva. Yes I have no idea what I'm talking about.
Ha ok whatever you say ace
UNIVEC needs to come up with 10s of millions of dollars to effectively promote and market this product or put it in the hands of a major supply or pharm company. Their price point is going to be key bc Medicare and managed care companies are really putting the Kabosh on pricey "novelty" reimbursements. FYI managed care companies typically follow suit with Medicare
The fact that they dismissed the entire pharmaceutical business model is a little odd. Despite what many might think reps do in fact do more than sample they actually educate prescribers, set up procurement strategies with viable institutions and ultimately pull through business.
I will keep an eye on this and see if anything materializes. GL
No PM but thanks for the response. GLTY with this one
Hey Jimmy have you been smoking with that Dafuji dude? Only kidding you guys are a great bunch and I enjoy following this board.
Seriously whatever happened to that guy? Is he locked away in Ihub jail or something?
OPMG
Hey CD I have a substantial background in the pharm industry and launched products in several disease states that include disease states in neuroscience, pain management and addiction medicine. This run caught my eye so I did some looking around. Do you know how they are planning to commercialize this product? Pharmacy networks are fine but who educates the physicians hospitals etc on this new technology? Also do you know what actual medications they currently own, license or co-promote? I guess I don't understand the business model. TIA
Nice job bull much appreciated
No worries yea we are on the same page. Years ago my stepmother worked as the Deputy Chief Information Officer at Oxford Health Plan prior to the MAMSI/United acquisition. She is very familiar with the margins of an insurance company and I was thinking about getting her opinion on PG and the market. She used to tell me "insurance companies are like targets for lawyers" "bottom lines and operating margins don't matter to attorneys only that they move enormous amounts of cash."
Insurance companies run a 2-4% profit margin at the high end I don't see them developing the technology and maintaining a system to support that technology. It's way too expensive. I also believe the Personal Injury Lawyers are in the top position to influence the market and it's already begun. Just go to YouTube and pick your advertisement.
The automotive manufacturers won't be left out. They will be sued right along with the Insurance company. I worked for a PI lawyer in college and trust me they will sue everyone and see what sticks. They have already decimated my industry (healthcare) by suing the hospital, doctor and the pharmaceutical or device company. Next time you see a commercial that goes "have you taken x drug and had a headache 10 minutes later?". The insurance company takes it in the rear through stop loss and medical malpractice policies kicking in to cover. Even if the insurance company is not sued directly than they are still getting wiped.
Point being is it's a lot cheaper to just partner with a tech company like OPMG and JB. Spending the money on an outreach program to educate and incentivize drivers on TND is the way I would go if I were CEO :)
Good day
He will probably just stand up there and babble just like the President did yesterday
All good for gold and PCFG
Hey DR nice job leveraging Zimmerman. Brilliant make them earn their pay knowing they have contacts everywhere
member mark for you
I agree it would be very bad for the US economy and it's future
PCFG
Agreed I can't see Ben announcing a QE3 today. Then again BOA is in a lot of trouble so today will be very telling for the like of gold and jr's like PCFG.
Thanks just got in from morning dog walk gonna take a look at everything. Agreed Fed statement today will be telling for treasuries, equities and gold. I still can't believe the rush to Treasuries but perhaps it indicates the downgrade was a shot at US policy and not our economy. Maybe the the banking sector's wind down is taking precedent and not necessarily the downgrade itself. Whatever it is something has investors spooked enough to sell. Let's hope today is a better day in the markets.
Yep the blood bath continues
No worries bro
My assessment? I don't claim to know anymore about Bieber than what's in the media. Whatever it's all good everyone knows JB and hopefully management will continue to capitalize on that and eventually sell a lot of product.
Well if you run with his peeps then I guess I stand corrected.
GLTY
OPMG
I may be assuming too much but I am gonna put myself out there and say you have never had a conversation with JB much less said "hello" to him. If that's the case and please feel free to correct the record. How is it you know so much about the kid?
My apologies that's a big miss on my part lol
Agreed many of the folks are helpful here and do substantiate their posts. To those I am grateful as it helps to supplement my findings. GLTY
OPMG
Yep. It's a very dangerous proposition relying on these boards for DD and guidance. I'm not saying that's the case perhaps its more of a day or swing trade scenario looking to go long with OPMG. Or maybe it's a short position attempting to create a cloud of doubt. A watchful eye on the fundamentals and a keen sense of objectivity seems to work for me but to each his own.
Understandable but why are you waiting for someone to do DD for you?
Now that would be genius IMO. I didn't think about JB's donations to RAB but your right. Certainly they wouldn't be so naive to bite the hand that feeds them when this movement is just starting to grow legs.
Another thought about RAB is maybe they are "endorsing" other apps to some degree to maintain there non profit status? I am not an expert on the matter so it's merely a passing thought
Yea I found that odd since Justin help put RAB on the map and the family posed in a photo that is currently on the PG website. One would have to think management has this locked down but who knows????
Sorrrrrrry Selena and good luck promoting your app when your no longer living in JB's shadow.
It makes an interesting argument and the recent US credit downgrade in theory favors a heightened gold position among financial institutions. I believe the US has and will continue to resist this magnitude of change however the US is quickly reducing it's position of financial supremacy
The WGC, IMF and the World Bank along with the rest of the developed nations have and will continue to push for this change
All very positive for gold and PCFG imo.
