Me thinks you are paranoid. I have had 2 aliases and when I changed I posted on the board that I was making the change. I made the change as I explained in a much earlier post, by popular demand. There were those who thought my other picture was disgusting.
The origin of the other picture was to make fun of Freddie Kruger’s “trophy wife”. On the YAHOO board I was known as “tisnotmoi” I decided to change my ljdjdnh because it invoked too many requests for legal advise or comments like, “Mr X or Y is saying illegal stuff on this board, cant you sue him?” The ljdjd breaks down to LJD JD. Hope that clears it up. I tried to send you a PM but was 8 minutes late.
Oh those crazy MMs. Maybe they know something that we don't !?!?!?
Hey Brook:
I am a staunch advocate, and at times some would call me a pumper. (that’s pumper; not plumper) It is no secret that at any give time, I hold between 3.5 and 5 million shares. I’m certainly not broke. I am however, as to AFTC, underwater. I am frustrated as many of us are. I think that many of the so-called pumpers have simply tired of the “it’s going up” “its going down” and are just waiting for some good news. I believe that much of the pumping is more wishful thinking rather than evil doings.
teee heeee heeee - I gotta hear this one!
Being said with a degree of ambivalence, Jim has excellent credentials, travels the world working for AFT and DME, works diligently on military and non military contracts and is in his upper 60s. He ain’t no kid! Yet he busts his azz off for a project which I believe he believes in genuinely.
Tough to fault him for not making us tons of money as quickly as we would like. And tough not to blame him for not making us tons of money.
A little honesty about Longs.
Is there anyone out there who doesn’t have an exit target? Each of us talk about hitting a particular price point. To me, this is a clear indication as to one’s exit point. We are all in this to make money. I’m not implying that that’s a bad thing; but consider the following.
Jim has been in this for 15+ years. In the final analysis, comparatively, we are all in this for the short run. Are any of us planning to stay with AFTC for that amount of time? If the stock goes to $1.00 per share and levels out for the next year, ask yourselves, “Would I sell my shares and move on to something with more upside potential?” If the answer is yes, and it probably is, then you are a flipper, just not a short time flipper. Everything is relative. It goes to the joke about the millionaire and the girl in the bar and “………..[W]e’re just haggling over price.”
Given that we all have an exit price and are therefore all speculators, rather than investors, then I ask, “Why should Jim be beholden to us to supply us with the same data as a City (C) or Morgan Stanley (MS) which are long term investments, rather than high potential speculations?”
The tenor of Jim’s notes are that of pure frustration. He is experiencing aversion therapy. If he puts out news, the stock rises and plummets thanks to the short sellers. If he doesn’t keep us posted, then we pummel him. He is in a no win situation. And he can’t tell us anything that would be construed as insider information.
He has told us that the plan is N. Carolina for the purpose of increased production. No one increases production area unless production increases are anticipated. It also makes no sense to move to N. Carolina unless there is a sizeable cost savings. I doubt that anyone would move everything out of state over a 25% increase. I expect the new facility to be considerably larger, and considerably larger anticipates considerably larger production demands. I would also expect that the current facility would still be maintained because of its proximity to the heart of the U.S. automobile industry.
In summation, for those of you who have sifted through this; I am not happy that we are not kept in the loop – I’ll live with it.
WoW... Here it comes
HEME hit .025. Just a little more dip and we can ride up on the pump.
Ya BUT....
Still showing a bunch of .028 and .022
Diversify??? Is that what I are supposed to do. I took my entire life savings of $100 and bought nothing but BRAV. Now what am I going to do?!?! Mwhaaa haaaa haaaa.
I have meetings starting in 10 minutes, so anyone on the west coast who disagrees with me will have to wait until 4pm eastern to get a response from me.
Thanks Shiner.. I’m glad to see that someone else is not taken in by the ridiculous fees claimed for web design. I have been involved with companies who were aligned with web design. As such, I researched HTM/L and even produced a few websites as part of my learning process, including SQL, HTML, Flash and a bunch of other serverside programs. I am not claiming to be an expert; but I could hire one full time for less than that amount annually. It indicates to me that either:
1.) Someone is getting a LARGE kickback (guess who)
2.) Danny is way out of his league as to his CEO position
3.) Danny should step down and take a lower management position that doesn’t require major decisions. (something I have always pushed for)
4. Danny is using his webdesign duties as a way to hide from his real duties and obligations as CEO(?)
It is not my intent to jump back on this Board and argue how good or bad BRAV is, but I think that some of Danny’s expenses need serious scrutiny.
Thanks to whomever painted a 1000 trade to up the close from .002 to .0023 @ 4:00:06 p.m.

What I do is not a secret, but sometimes it's better to have some degree of anonymity. Sometimes it keeps me from having some knockdown, drag outs.
There are 20+ ‘safe harbor” regs under SEC Rule D sec 505, 506 et seq.
I assume that the one you are referencing is the ”safe harbor” statement used after DA’s conference call. The one you may recall which stated nothing of consequence..
The Regulation states (paraphrasing), ”….any Company Officer or representative (which includes authorized pumps, must include a safe harbor statement only IF it wants to protect itself from suit for results contrary to its published (verbal or written) statements.
The shield does not cover reckless or exaggerated claims, nor anything which is known by the publisher to be false or misleading.
A similar protection is called the “puffery defense” where the seller of a car tells you , “This is a creampuff, it goes like the wind,” or “ It will last you for another 200000 miles.” If the seller doesn’t use the word, guarantee it is simple puffery.
The good thing about the Reg is that it prevents frivolous suits, like, “He said that there would be a new store opening in January, but it didn’t open until February; and I would not have bought the stock if I knew that.
zzzzzzzzzzzz. Sleeping while waiting for the next pump.
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Just sleeping waiting for the next pump.
Oh! I'm taking your previous advice and staying away. I only posted this in the unlikely event that you had not noticed, I would bring it to your attention. :)
ELCR actually trading today and bouncing 100% ?!?!?
That link didn't work for me. However, anyone thinking that DME is a lock should spend 30 minutes (yeah, 30 minutes; it won't kill ya') and read articles on many, many, many, many, many viable alternatives other than DME and AFTC. http://www.greencarcongress.com/
No accusations intended. I just hate false hopes based on a misunderstanding of facts, and was merely trying to clarify. People hear what they want to hear (especially on these boards).
As I read page 15, it states that Volvo has AFTC parts which were previously installed and are still in use. I do not equate that to a current contract.
Just couldn't resist the obsurdity of it. Happy Holidays. :)
Mr. J - You seem to be the only one here who needs proof. If it is that important to you, go out and see for yourself.
@&%$#* MMs at it right away this a.m. with $24 trade.
WoW - HEME had a good day!!! Only lost 10%
5 full days with no early closings. Last chance to dump jumk and take 2010 tax write offs. (for those who need it? ! ? !)
This is not a commentary on AFTC - this is simply a generalization. Please do not read anything into it.
I trust no one got run over by a reindeer.
Hi Bubble! left a PM on your email.
Merry Christmas and Seasons Greetings to all
Be safe and be happy. “See” everyone at 9:30 a.m. Monday.
N. Korea has always misbehaved to set themselves up in a position to negotiate freebees from USA, Russia and China. We make concessions and they promise to get in line. This works for a while and then when they need something, they run amuck and the process starts all over again. Personally, I think that China and Russia will slap them silly if things persist with any attempt to send a nuke airborne. The peninsula uncertainty will cost China serious money problems. They have millions of expendable lives, but limited money supply.
Just a pleasant thought:
I really think that if Russia or China popped a nukie in our direction, that the other (Russia or China) would do a preemptory strike on the aggressor just for giggles.
Sleep well, Dr. Strangelove!
Can't be Fred - hasn't talked about his "hot" wife.
Sorrrrry - just couldn't resist. remove if you must.
Maybe people are dumping shares simply because they don’t trust or believe the stories and empty promises. I know that when I hit my buy in price, I’m outa here. Even if it goes up; I don’t care! I’m simply annoyed with this whole soap opera. There are those who will not lament my departure. Oh well - by by ! ! !
P.S. I don't have enough shares to be worth the grief.
Expecting a year end tax loss dump
Expecting a year end tax loss dump.
MMs at work! .0026
