Last I understood from an email I received from Dr. V... (actually was forwarded to me from another investor who had emailed Dr. V himself) they met with Epa General counsel as recently as 10 days or so ago. Dr. V is expecting he may hear something this week on approval etc.
Therefore, Im looking to add more shares down here.
Hope that helps.

CHRISTINE TODD WHITMAN head of the EPA had this to say before the SCEPW (Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works) committee hearing on December 4th. Hearing was on remediation of biologically and chemically contaminated buildings. SCEPW is the same committee that invited BioShield to present information regarding their ability to help in the matter. The report some of you received via e-mail was the information that BioShield submitted. Unfortunately, BioShield’s information doesn’t show up on the official web site, but nonetheless we are being heard!
Here is part of Christine’s statement before the committee.
“REGISTRATION OF PRODUCTS
Another principal responsibility of EPA=s in anthrax decontamination is to ensure that the chemicals used to treat anthrax spores are efficacious and safe. EPA is responsible for registering pesticides, including these antimicrobial products used to treat anthrax spores, prior to their marketing in the U.S.
Before issuing a pesticide registration, the Agency reviews a significant body of data to determine whether use of that pesticide will result in unreasonable adverse effects to humans or the environment. These data can include information on short- and long-term toxic effects and examine the potential for exposure under expected application scenarios. For pesticides that have public health uses, such as those used on anthrax spores, EPA also critically evaluates their efficacy. Under emergency conditions, EPA may allow a new use of a previously registered pesticide or use of an unregistered pesticide where the Agency has sufficient data to make a safety finding. These decisions can often be made quickly, based on the data that EPA receives and reviews.
Responding to the anthrax contamination has presented some unique challenges to our pesticides program. For example, currently there are no registered pesticides approved for use against anthrax. Since the beginning of the anthrax-contamination events, EPA has been working hard to identify and evaluate existing pesticide products that are sporicidal, that is, those that kill spore-forming bacteria, even though such products may not have been tested on anthrax per se.
Since October, the Agency has approved two pesticides for treating anthrax spores under emergency exemption provisions of existing pesticide laws B the aqueous solution of chlorine dioxide and a foam used to treat anthrax-contaminated surfaces. We have identified several potential chemicals and new technologies which may be effective against anthrax. The Agency continues to work closely with other federal agencies, emergency response teams, and independent experts to develop effective remediation tools. On the basis of site specific information, EPA recommends proper methods of decontamination including which antimicrobial or other substances will be used.
EPA has also established a hotline for venders who believe they have products that could effectively treat anthrax and has begun daily briefings to establish routine communication between on-site personnel and key centers within the Agency who oversee and/or support them. EPA laboratories are assisting in testing samples from potentially contaminated sites and the evaluation of antimicrobial products for effectiveness against anthrax has been made a top priority. In addition, EPA is using its experience in this situation to develop approaches to handling future biological and chemical exposures should they occur.”

Written Statement of Dr. Marcelo D. Villahoz VMD MS
Vice President of BioShield Technologies Inc.
To be included in the Congressional Report presented at the
Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works
December 17, 2001
Mr. Chairman and distinguished members of the Environment & Public Works Committee, we want to thank you for the opportunity to present BioShield’s new technology that could signify a new precedent for our country towards emergency preparedness, preventative measures, and counterattacking the dangers of Biohazards and Bioterrorism.
BioShield Technologies, Inc. is committed to the discovery, development, marketing and sale of leading antimicrobial, germ killer, and sporocidal and biostatic products. The Company’s antimicrobial technology is a revolutionary alternative to conventional lethal gases, sporicidal, sanitizers, disinfectants, bleaches, biocides and chemicals. BioShield’s proprietary antimicrobial products are much more durable, effective, and safe. When properly used, these novel technologies can provide non-toxic and effective methods for decontamination and remediation of contaminated buildings in different forms, including entire rooms and equipment, furniture and various contents. These novel antimicrobials can be used as a prophylaxis to prevent recontamination and assure a residual effect.
In lieu of the recent events and the negative results obtained by the current lethal gases (Chlorine Dioxide) use in government buildings (MSNBS 12/152001 “ Senate offices to be fumigated again” The Washington Post 12/15/2001 “Hart Building Remains Closed For New Attempt at Cleanup” BioShield Technologies Inc, is part of a joint effort with a consortium of experienced and industry-leading companies (HealthSafe USA and TRIDIM Filter Corporation) that provide products and services related to decontamination, treatment and remediation of unsafe environments.
Bioshield Technologies Inc has established joint ventures with Health Safe USA, from Dayton, Ohio an international company with ten years of experience in decontamination of buildings with mold & mildew indoor environments that suffered water loss events and environments that are contaminated with mold spores. HealthSafe USA used the same processes that pharmaceutical, medical and biotechnology industries use for contamination control. Health Safe USA used MCCP (Microbial Contamination Control Process) and obtains the goal of ALARA (as low as reasonably achievable) system that is described in Appendix “ C”.
BioShield Technologies Inc. has also aligned its efforts with TRIDIM Filter Corporation, and international company with headquarters in Louisa, Virginia. TRIDIM has been a recognized innovator in the industry of general ventilation air filtration products since the mid 1960's. Founded in 1968 by current owner, John Stanley, originally set out to develop a new synthetic filter media into a depth loading, engineered graduated density fiber media to provide new filtration technology to the HVAC market. With experience in different industries, TRIDIM Filter Corporation is a leader in reducing the submicron contamination in medical facilities, microelectronics industry, office buildings, automotive assembly plants and general industry. Micro-Pac 99, one of TRIDIM products can eliminate submicron particulates in excess of 95% removal efficiency of 0.3 to 0.4 microns size particles. This technology controls and reduces the risk of Anthrax spores and other spores and bacteria. Military specification tests performed at independent laboratories show the efficacy of these systems and the beneficial results that can be found by applying decontamination programs. The Government and its officials are currently developing maintenance programs towards a decontaminated status and introduce measures to prevent future Bioterrorism attacks. Results of these tests are detailed in Appendix “D”
BioShield Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: BSTI), is a Norcross, Georgia-based emerging growth company focused in biotechnology and specialty coatings. Its core business is committed to the discovery, development, marketing and sale of surface-modifying antimicrobial and biostatic products. The Company’s antimicrobial technology is a revolutionary alternative to conventional sanitizers, disinfectants, bleaches, biocides or preservatives primarily because it kills bacteria, including HIV, on contact and can remain active for extended time periods.
BioShield is a $ 55 million biotech company that operates three distinct operating divisions created by superior research and development during the past several years. These divisions include: Specialty Chemical/Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM), the Professional Division and Consumer Products Division.
To date, BioShield has received three U.S. patents and eight EPA registrations. On September 21, 1999, the Company received its first U.S. Patent for the water stabilized antimicrobial molecule. In February 2000, BioShield received U.S. EPA registration for its concentrated active ingredient, BSTI 1860. By July 2000, the antimicrobial application AM 500 had been approved for direct homeowner use, and in September 2000, the Company received two additional U.S. patents expanding the current applications of the base technology and three EPA registrations for its mold and mildew protectants. On December 4, 2001, the Company received another EPA approval for the first U.S. germ killer and disinfectant against Salmonella cholerasuis, Staphylococcus aureus and other microorganisms.
The primary core technology contains no chlorine molecules, heavy metals, formaldehyde treatment or phenol groups, that and is the only non-toxic antimicrobial. Unlike other antimicrobial materials, the Company’s product has never been shown to allow or cause microbial adaptation, resistance, mutation, diffusion, or migration. It is significantly different from conventional sanitizers, disinfectants, or biocides that are extremely toxic and contaminate the environment with undesirable chemicals. Some of the differences are in its chemical nature, effectiveness, durability and safety. BioShield’s technology has a unique advantage over all previously known methods and applications: the antimicrobial component material is bonded to the cell or surface, creating a new “safer” environment. Microorganisms are then destroyed by simple contact with the surface. BioShield’s antimicrobial products bond to almost any surface, creating unlimited applications for the Company’s breakthrough technology in the commercial, industrial and residential/consumer sectors.
Unlike most other biocides and sporocidal BioShield’s antimicrobial is effective against single-celled organisms. Since it does not dissipate, it minimizes or eliminates the potential for microorganisms to adapt, build up tolerance, or become resistant. It acts by rupturing the cell membrane, not by encapsulating, altering the DNA or poisoning the cell. By contrast, most other antimicrobials, sporocidal, sanitizers and disinfectants are designed to diffuse and be absorbed. Once absorbed, they act by poisoning the microorganisms or causing fatal DNA mutations.
BioShield’s antimicrobial technology is a durable, broad spectrum antimicrobial that chemically bonds to, and literally becomes part of, the application surface. Most surfaces remain with antimicrobial properties for an extended period of time. BioShield’s antimicrobial activates as microorganisms come into direct contact with it. Since the antimicrobial is not absorbed by organisms, but remains a part of each application surface, it effectively transforms conventional surfaces and materials into active antimicrobial surfaces. These surfaces will remain effective for extended periods, which will result in a significant reduction of some bacterial spores, such as Anthrax, fungus (mold & mildew), viruses and infections caused by air-borne microbial contaminants.
Unlike other EPA Approved disinfectants and sporocidal products on the market, BioShield’s antimicrobial products molecularly bond to numerous surfaces and are presently being used in a wide range of applications, (e.g. industrial, medical, commercial and healthcare use, synthetic, woven and non-woven textile products, fibers, fabrics, liquids, cleaning products for general households, sealants, adhesives, stains, caulking compounds, coating systems and numerous other surface materials). The Company controls a revolutionary technology that not only effectively kills a broad spectrum of microorganisms, including viruses, mold, mildew, fungi, yeasts and gram (+) and gram (-) bacteria. In addition, recent studies (Appendix “A”) attached to this report show acceptable efficacy levels against Anthrax spores and Spores from Anthrax bacteria, and related families such as Bacillus subtilis and Bacillus globigii
(Appendix “B”).
The need to develop and provide protection against viral infections, bacteria, fungi, algae, yeast, mildew, HIV, and a broad spectrum of other microorganisms, including Anthrax spores that come in contact with humans, has long been recognized. However, the use of biostats to inhibit the growth and development of mutating bacteria, and the need for bacteriostatic finishes on surfaces, has only emerged in the past decade. BioShield Technologies, Inc has run extensive studies against Anthrax spores
(Appendix “A”) and other bacteria of the Bacillus family (Appendix “B”) to prove its efficacy.
... There was alot more than this, but all I could cut and paste for now.
GG....I have searched some ot the RB posts from the Banman email period...could not find the post......I am sure that some on posted it around that period of time. I can visualize it with the typical RB yellowish background which would not be evident on an email from Banman..I don't really think I emailed Banman for a copy....I had reservations about black helicopters at that time.....I am quite sure its on RB

Nothing short of revolutionary stuff. Not to mention Influenza A, Anthrax spores, and Herpes Simplex.
But, thats just touching the surface, no pun intended.
Now you partially know why IM LONG and dont sell shares... but look for lower points to buy more if I can steal them.

I will get you all a copy this weekend.

NoMo.....GG has been around long enough to know what he is talking about as I can speak from experience. When I was young and "feisty", it did not take me long to realize that at any dances that I attended, WALLFLOWERS were where it was happening. I always waited till the music started, and ..walla..for some reason wallflowers appreciate you more than the hotties.
GG...{EDIT}.Those new posters that came on board during the run-up were ,in my estimation ,just MoMo players reacting to the surge in volume and public news wire releases. This happens every day...that is what MoMo is all about. However, there may have been some insider taking advantage of his information. Had there been real inside activity and knowledge, there would have been much more volume prior to the releases.....
Sometimes things are much more funny if the obvious is left unsaid.....tell that to Jay Leno....the master of saying the obvious and pumping it to death....for instance he might have a come back along the lines of a reference to FREEDOM TICKLERS and FREEDOM KISSES.......to top it off he prolly would add....FREEDOM CURVES
GG....I am sure that you are pretty dead on relative to the S.E.C. inquiry as you have dealt first hand with the agency representative and have a firm understanding as to where he is coming from and/or is going. I have some difficulty with this belated action which in my opinion should have taken place during the halt.
Prior to your posting of your take on the inquiry, I had a feeling that it might have something to do with the posting by past employees of IBCL and the pending court case.
I don't think you lost your donkey....I think your donkey lost you.

There is gold in them thar hills.
filet-shoe....
Hard to say if it was a buy or sell....for every buy there is a sell and vice verse. The trade went thru at bid as did all other trades this AM with the exception of one. What this does say for sure is that nobody seems to want to pay the ask.
Irv......It seems that IBCL is a stock of tomorrows. For you it has been over 1200 tomorrows and you are still waiting for another tomorrow.......for me it has only been about 600 tomorrows and I am getting fed up with all this tomorrow stuff. Like the man said...if the product is so hot.....where are the customers....????
TonyS...I think you had it right the first time.....now you say for TIM to throw us a bone. The real problem is that he has so many times thrown bones and no meat. I ,myself, have wished to hear from Tim, but in retrospect, I have second thoughts about this also. Ask your self the question and answer out loud....can we take this man at his word...would you trust him with your wallet..,.????....................remember...answer loudly out loud.Look in the mirror when you say it...
NoMoDo......Sure....beer usually works for me.....lately it has taken scads of Wares Warrior Porto at 20% alcohol to do the job. After thinking it over for 5 minutes, I have come to the conclusion that I used the wrong analogy....It should have been...."ALL SHOW AND NO GO"
.."Water...Water...every where, but not a drop to drink."
I feel like that guy drifting aimlessly in the middle of the ocean on a hot day. They web is full of PRs, partners, potential contracts, testimonials and generic fluff all relative to BSTI / IBCL and its products and potential, depicting a successful company,,but there is diddly for revenues....
I hear that real cowboys drink....FAT TIRE
