Some very interesting information from the recent quarterly results from the "Big Boys", Exxon, Shell and Cheveron.
All (have the big 3 in my IRA) reported outstanding positive earnings but one key item that I picked up on is that actual oil production was down on average 3% but refining revenue was way up, as much as 45%.
Now a simple question is Why???
Are they managing their fields so that they don't get tapped out??
Even the King "the Saudis" are anticipated to be down in production (~8%) this year.
Could this be an indicator that they are looking for some profitable acquisition (oil production potential & reserves)?
Are they utilizing their refining capabilities to increase not just their profits but additional cash for such an acquisition???
It's a strong case being built for the emerging O&G companies that have the potential reserves. And Hemi is right there!!!!
This IMO is an excellent development for Hemi. Global demand for oil is not decreasing but for the major producers the amount of oil production is!!!!
This will only support and enhance the current price of a barrel of oil and allow companies like Hemi easier access to selling it's oil.
Refining is a key to the gasoline flow and ultimate price that we the consumer pay. The Big Boys have refining capabilities and can make a good buck in the refining arena. That overall 3% decrease needs to be made up and come from some other source......
Gotta believe if Hemi can produce the oil and indications are they will exceed expectations, then to get a good price will not be a problem.
Just another underlying strength and fact the supports the going forward positive case from Hemi.
Ponder that over the weekend for those that doubt the potential of Hemi

Dane....I better do the same and use ignore.....I just had 2 messages booted...but my reason is that many new Hemi board members are posting and viewing and negative comments with out backing if not addressed by reply or deleted by the Moderators can be very misleading to these new members.
So as much as I dislike having a message deleted...in itself it is a small victory.....The purpose is to keep this board with valid info...whether it is positive or negative.
Kels
You will never get an argument from me cutting a deal on a beer keg.
Hemi hits their numbers and this keg of beer will of the highest quality!!!!!!
Kels
So far what's nice about today is the PPS action and the volume. End of the day action could get interesting.
Kels
IMO today may be the last hurrah for the MM's tactics of the past 4-6 weeks.
When the news/PR'e/ updates start to flow....its going to get very exciting being for us shareholders to be on the right side of the fence.
The Hemi announcement yesterday of the move to DFW in my mind is a perfect timed release and a great strategic set up.....
Why release the big news when you can not be on in the "big players" field??
Now Hemi is on the same field with this move and when this news is released, first hand Hemi can have any 1/1's with the big boys........ front and center.
Kels
A very nice feature of the Hemi business model...
Low expense projections to well development + high revenue potential produced + very short time table for ROI = BIG PROFIT + SATISFIED SHAREHOLDERS.
Kels
Since Big Mur took his time and effort to reply accordingly, I am replying in an effort to encourage that our Moderator will delete this message and yours (Jag) that I am responding too.
Your reply to the Hemi news clearly shows your inept I.Q.
Kels
Ovidius - Your question: What do you mean by valid PRs?
My answer: Today's release is an example of a valid PR.
Kels
Next time I am in the DFW area....I'm there.
The office that I work out of when I'm in DFW area is in Richardson...Fort Worth is a short and quick 25 miles.
Kels
And hopefully Hemi and Co are setting these MM tactics up for the big fall.
Kels
Big Mur....what is the famous line in 1 vs 100...Bring them on!!!!
Kels
Now that is what was needed.....
A nice on going update by Hemi to put in check the anxiety that was building on the board.
Nice info.........NO FLUFF........provides an additional piece of the puzzle and confirmation of another step in the business strategy that Hemi is putting place.
I get to Dallas and Fort Worth quite a bit......and as many O&G companies know.... one (an O&G company) does not move into this territory unless you can either play with the bigs boys or stand up and hold your own.
IMO opinion Hemi has the capability of both.
Kels
Not implying that any confidence has been lost.....just bring to the table the issues that appears to be to problem with some of the short-termers. Ann short termers can also have an impact of PPS performance.
Kels
Not a question.....just a recommendation. The good leaders have eyes in the back of their heads as well as on the side of their heads......LOL
Hopefully your reply from Keith will settle some of the newbee's down. I too know that the best is yet to come...
Its just a question of the Hemi path that each takes from today until then.
Kels
I hope you asked Keith to take a peek at the IHUB Hemi board...
We will keep an eye on the news and hopefully Keith will keep an eye on the IHUB board!!!!!
Kels
Big Mur....your absolutely correct and I agree 100% with your comment.....
If I had my choice on how Hemi releases what we all know is coming........I would like to see a gradual release of good, valid PR's over time that would produce a nice easy upticking PPS.....then a big bang of a PR, made up of many good items that produce a huge and immediate increase in PPS......
My reason and logic for this.........look what happened to Hemi when it spiked to .90.....before that Hemi was in a nice uptrending/churning pattern.
Just my thoughts.
Kels
In all due respect there is a #3 point to the below statement:
"Keith says they don't have interest in the stock... but that means they're not in business to promote the stock, not in business to sell shares. They're in business to produce gas & oil and make an attractive jewel to sell to big oil."
3)Although he may not have a day to day interest in the stock or to promote the stock,........ he does have an obligation to the stockholders, and part of that obligation is to keep the shareholders well informed as information develops that may have a direct bearing (up or down) on the PPS and value of owning such a stock. Part of the current problem is that Keith has already alluded to this additional information from prior PR's in Feb & March as pending developments that have yet to be validated by a Hemi PR. Once a CEO indicates there is pending development of news or information, then the followers get anxious......it's a normal process in the world of stock ownership as well as protecting one's profits if action is needed.
Kels
Yes we have........... and much of the rebuttal and remarks have been from those "board members" that are long, strong and dedicated to Hemi since the uptrend started back in Dec 2006.
Hopefully, Hemi management is reading this board and getting a good understanding of this constructive criticism and concern.
Kels
Exactly....in this pinky environment there is a very fine line between loyalty of an investment vs. the practicality and logic behind an investment.
Sometimes the practical move may go against the logical move, keeping the communication channels open IMO supports the logical move.
Kels
Ovidius, simply put a valid PR in my book means no fluff which Hemi has maintained to date......no fluff. Hemi has enough going on that any current update or new release will be worthy information.
You points are well taken and you are correct that any "pinky" stock owes it to thier shareholders to keep all informed with accurate and timely information regarding on going operations, results and going forward expectations.
Yes, IMO if the silence continues then we are heading to a fork (as you pointed out .35-.40 area) in the road that may enhance the strategy of of the MM's and create more questions from the current core of shareholders.
Kels
OT: Ok I am going to get very subjective in this post having been in Hemi since early December.
The question...Why is Hemi PPS acting the way it is???
I had a discussion today with a friend about Hemi, he wants to buy but seeing the daily action is sitting on the sidelines thinking that the price will be a better buy. My answer to him is that this resembles the old "Chinese Water Torture" a slow but rather painful process.
Currently Hemi shareholders know the potential and in time Hemi will perform BUT the newbee's and the potential buyers have not bought on to this yet and thus the process continues, the newbee's are probably flipping or bailing for other opportunities (feeding into the MM's strategy) and the sideliners are getting a false since of security seeing the recent daily PPS down trending and waiting for a better price.
So what is the outcome??
IMO this process continues until Hemi management releases the PR validations that we, the current shareholders, are waiting for. We are reaching a point that Keith and company need to provide some valid PR's.
Yes this Hemi not your typical pinkie, however; it is playing in the pinkie arena and as much as I believe in the Hemi business model, there is a point when management needs to provide a flow of information if they are truely looking after the shareholder interest.
Otherwise newer shareholders look at this type of position as just that...another pinkie that in their view never performed.
Bottom line.....there is a fine line between keeping all shareholders interest in a company via updates vs fluff that leads to the "Pump and Dump".
No question in my mind, Hemi will validate their success with PR release, the real issue is:
Do all (recent purchasers and season purchasers) Hemi shareholders have the discipline to hang on?
Kels
We'll see.......but in either case the trend appears to be up
Kels
If a healthy cup is to form on the daily chart, then the right side of this cup is ~.06.
I didn't say it would happen over night as a good cup formation occurs over time, but being on the right side of the cup can provide one a good $$$.
Kels
Yup....there's the making of the cup from the daily chart....around .06
Kels
From a chart talking perspective....the weekly is developing a nice "V" while the daily appears to be developing a nice cup.
Either way both (weekly chart or daily chart) look great over the mid term.
IMO these signal a target of .06 (form the daily cup) or .10 (finish the weekly "V").
Kels
Well a day late but still just as good...... I got my .37's today.
IMO this current PPS environment that Hemi is conducting is:
"A once in a lifetime opportunity"......
For anyone who is sitting on the sidelines and waiting for the right price or wants to add to their current position.
IMO now is the time!!!!!
DD2's prior post about reserve predictions getting upgraded is a very good likelyhood to occur.......and what great news that will be.
My "field contacts" in Texas keep telling me that the activity continues to increase and behind the scenes the O&G industry is moving along very rapidly and is very healthy. If anyone is as familiar as I am with the behind the scenes business mechanics in the O&G industry....then you know this is an excellent development that continues to improve.
Just wait until the earnings and production reports start to get announced by these O&G companies.
Then we will see who gets to gloat!!!!!
When Hemi is ready to validate their production and new business lease potentials, I hope all those that are currently sitting on the sidelines are "locked and loaded"
I am:))
Kels
Lowman... every time I head fishing offshore I say the same thing. Its an experience every time and one that has a different but often a new reward too (lifetime experience to the adrenaline rush of hooking up a big one)...let alone the excitement of each trip.
Kels
OT....Congrats....I remember when I walked out with my degree....although a number of years ago...but yes....Oh what a great feeling and what a weight release.
But you probably have an edge that your fellow grads don't have or for that matter may never have......
Your a Hemi Shareholder!!!....that with your Masters and who knows what the world may offer you down the road.
Kels
Zguy...have a great b-day this weekend..... You may get the real big present next week!!!!!
Never got my 0.37's today but that's ok I"m still loaded...ready to rock and roll.
Kels
They must like you!!!....I'm still waiting for my 0.37's to fill.
Kels
Get ready....I have a feeling something is brewing....man I'm trying to get my order filled was hoping for .37....oh well in any case I'm loaded for the ride.
Kels
Yup...play with fire and at some point you will get burned....My add-on order is in for the open
Kels
Just an observation...but someone is trying awful hard to open this down this morning early....currently.... 0.32/0.37. as an attempt to either cover up or buy in???
I will throw this bone out there....could they be concerned that something from Hemi could be developing....say somewhere between 9:45-10:45AM (est)????
Kels
Correction to the below....looking like the open maybe a great time to add to or open a position
1. If you want to add to your postion then this could be the day, if the past MM game playing is any indicator probably a good time will be the lunch hour to buy.
Kels
Thanks....yup it is sometimes like a mine field (those MM's)....
Some like us make thru.....
Others............ well no need to go there.......
And yes, great suggestion to help the Hemi cause....go back and read some of the great DD, re-post it or find some new DD to help the cause!!!
Kels
For those that have been in HMGP since the end of 06/ beginning of 07 you probably know what we are in stored for today.
Unless Hemi and Co. throws us that PR curve ball today, and I doubt that since it is a Friday, you just know that the MM mind games will be off and running this AM with Hemi.
For those that are newbies to HMGP IMO there are 2 ways to approach the day should the MM pyscho games start-up:
1. If you want to add to your postion then this could be the day, if the past MM game playing is any indicator probably a good time will be the lunch hour to buy.
2. If you are not looking to buy today or add to your position, and have a hard time watching these games develop, turn off your system and get involved with some other activity. As Lowman has also stated, a MM tactic is to wear one down slowly and painfully....there is no better way than to allow the process to develop slowly for all those 5 min ticket tape watchers.
Kels
This business relationship that NVMG is forming is the basic way two cultures, partners survive and prosper....it occurs in all forms of life, businesses and cultures...each benefits from the contributions of the partner(s) involved.
This is not parasitic (Win - Lose) it's a Win-Win for all.
Kels
Ovidius...again one must look down deep inside and ask why are you are holding a position in HMGP. Time and time again when Hemi starts to stagnate or do some churning to the down side...fear starts to surface on the board.
Step back for a moment and re-visit where Hemi has been, where Hemi is today and where Hemi is going tomorrow. And then...ask the real questions...
Do you believe in the Hemi management???...
Do you really think that Keith A would be so open to many Hemi members with open and honest info if the business model wasn't going in the right direction???....
Has Hemi not delivered on all expectations to date???
Isn't it Hemi management that already stated that they want to communicate accurate information and not fluff information via PR's
Based on recent results, projects and projections do you question that Hemi cannot deliver the same on going forward projects??
I mean........the list goes on and on in favor of the creditability of the Hemi management.
So again what is the issue???...I'm good with my reasons to hold long and strong
Kels.
yup...action usually kicks in on level 2 after 9-9:15AM
Kels
Interview via MN1 was after the market close for NVMG and Part 2 was loaded with outstanding information, projections, JV strategy and going forward direct and indirect business relationships.
