I'm in agreement with you there. If what an earlier post stated was correct in that there are almost 290M shares shorted, then they will soon be begging for cover shares even at a loss. This was the wrong stock to play that game on IMO, or at least this far into it anyway.JMHO.
They're smarter than we are then! LOL.
Of course some are covering. They had better be or they will soon be left in the dust. JMO.
Let's hope so....even at that this stock is way undervalued! JMHO
I agree. News must be spreading by now with the wires everywhere, I think it is just a matter of time now before it goes "boom". Big money will no doubt be coming in soon.
I smell Emaar.....
Why do you guys think we definitely need to cert our shares? They have to cover regardless, so curious as to why you all think we need the extra security blanket? Thanks ahead for any responses. GLTA
Well if they are numb enough to get caught out that far after everything that has been laid out here, then they have no-one to blame but themselves IMHO. They had better start covering in a hurry IMO, no matter if they lose a little or not.JMHO.
Sweet. That's what we want to hear, more interest brewing.
Excellent post! Thank-you! I can only imagine what Paul and the other reps have been thru so far today. I on the other hand feel like a kid at christmas, hehe! GLTA
Plain as day to me Allinone... Seems too many people WANT to nitpik this apart (IMHO) even tho everything is falling into place.
My gosh, we're talking about MEGA companies who are firmly supporting SLJB and helping to give them a leg up---this is very apparent, no Mr. Wizard needed to see that. That in itself is big to me as an investor, as is the verification from Wessal this morning.. I can be as critical as the next guy, but not when you are talking about totally respectable companies and a serious future plan being developed in front of our eyes WITH constant, timely PR's to let Stockholders know of all factual progress along the way---unheard of! Steve Sulja and Co in fact are very respectable themselves without the giants behind them... if you dig a bit you will be hard pressed to find nothing but good things stated about them. JMHO GLTA
Feel it? Heck you can almost smell it!
And I love the smell of freshly made money.
Very nice.
Dave---great find! Especially seeing as this comes from Wessal, not SLJB. Verification of any sort is sweet. Thanks.
Sulja and Steel= More profits
Recently SLJB moved further into the supply chain of both lumber and cement to the UAE in a big way. This will boost their revenue significantly. Another hint gathered was that Steel would also soon be coming into their supply chain:
A Sulja spokesperson stated, "Furthermore we are negotiating a continuous and competitive supplier of structural steel. Another product in short supply in the region."
Good stuff!
The need for steel is growing by the day:
Quote:
Economic expansion
"The importance of steel is predominant in any region experiencing rapid economic expansion and infrastructure spending. It is the fuel that drives development and expansion. The durability qualities in steel make it ideal for regions that experience hot and humid weather".
According to the International Iron and Steel Institute (IISI), the demand for steel is projected to grow between 1,040 and 1,053 million tonnes in 2006 from 972 million tonnes in 2004.
The institute also states that world crude steel production for the first 10 months of 2005 was 915.4 million metric tonnes.
IISI figures show that the apparent consumption of finished steel products in the Middle East in 2004 was about 15.4 million tonnes. The reasons for such a high demand in this region can be linked to strong oil revenues, growing manufacturing base, strong economic performance and rapid growth in the construction sector. End quote.
Much good could come to SLJB with a consistent Steel connection IMHO. Just as they have done with lumber and cement, if they can consistently sign contracts and deliver Steel to the UAE, it will only strengthen their foothold in the region as a trusted material supplier. JMHO. GLTA
Another old adage--"He who hesitates is lost".
Seems we're caught in the middle somewhere, hehe. I know for myself I would much rather get in at .01 as opposed to $1.00 tho. Food for thought. JMHO.
Edit- Just read you sold your shares.....sad. Now I understand your plight. GLTU on other stocks. I'm sure it will be painful watching this one go to over $20 in less than 24 months.(JMHO)Been there.
I agree with this, there probably is plenty of serious dicussion behind the scenes going on about the entire future direction of all this and who is going to do what and when. Emaar has made it quite clear that they plan to be one of the largest companies in the world by 2010, and to do that they must surround themselves with many "supporting" (and profitable!) companies. What role Vista will play, still remains to be seen. Can't have too many cheifs and not enough braves tho, especially in something of this overwhelming size, that would be a tough way to do business IMHO.
I think eventually we will see many more future mergers too-- the bigger fish will continue to eat the smaller fish, and it'll be interesting to see who really comes out as "top dog". Either way, I believe you are correct, it is a winning situation for us longs. JMHO GLTA
Fish-
OT--Absolutely! Haven't had snook in awhile, so thanks! I travel around and bowhunt alot in the fall so timing will be perfect for the exchange. The stuff we're finishing up now is the last of last years' "results", but I will be able to send you some nice fresh venny steaks around Nov 1, no problem! Keep in touch, and I'll do the same. Gotta run, more later.
With all of their contracts, and now getting their hands into not only the cement and wood industries but rumour has it steel as well, export licenses, listing on the Dubai exchange and heading for Nas shortly, and with practically total protection from the Emaar umbrella to boot, honestly this one is a complete no-brainer IMHO. I have put my money where my mouth is, and will be attentively watching all progress. JMHO, GLTA.
Off for a nice venison steak and eggs breakfast, (no fish today, sorry fish! lol) and family outing today. Later, longs!
I mean really, how can projects like this not bring sljb boatloads of revenue? And they are connected to over 300 Commercial projects currently in progress? Boggles the mind---
OTC News: CEO Steve Sulja in Windsor, Ontario announces today that Consultech Construction Management Inc.'s Director General Petar Vucicevich has been in the Middle East for the past 4 days completing negotiations for the land and construction of a 280 room exclusive luxury hotel on the Al Reem Island, in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Tracey Banumas, Director of Operations for CCMI stated that the cost of acquiring the land on Al Reem Island is $29M, cost of construction of the luxury hotel is estimated at $645M, both the land and financing for this project have been secured as of yesterday. The anticipated start date on the hotel construction will be mid 2007, and to be completed by mid 2009. Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates is one of the busiest and fastest growing areas in the world. Average hotel occupancy rates in Abu Dhabi are over 92%, and increasing steadily with the onset of businesses moving into the new hub of the Eurasian market.
Vucicevich states that expanding Consultech's business reach into the Middle Eastern market is gaining momentum, and further ventures and business opportunities are underway for this region.

Good morning. Great posts again Fish and Party and others. I think both are correct to an extent here---I do think the next step is the Audited Fins to be released, and then Wessal will start to buy and some of their "friends" will also jump into the mix with large hands and start filling pockets. This will certainly run the PPS up by a large margin. Shorty knows the deal, sometimes greed catches them off guard but IMO not this time because they have had plenty of warning. Anyone caught out has no-one to blame but themselves, hehe. I believe they have been buying to cover recently in fact, those are some of the big blocks running thru on the buy side. JMO
As far as the float, yes, we need and already have a public float to pacify the SEC---it's sketchy as to the exact numbers is all. I believe this will come out very soon tho for all to see, and if there was any "correcting" to be done it is being done quietly as we speak, I agree with Fish here on that. This company is definitely dotting and crossing and is leaving nothing to chance, and IMHO it is going to take off "like you read about" when all is done. I have been in on more than one stock that "took off" and have not been anywhere near as confident with them as I am with this one to be honest. As has been stated it's just a matter of time, and I'm enjoying watching it all unfold and reading other investors' thoughts. Thanks! JMHO, GLTA
Agree with Chip 100%. I have bought into many lesser stocks for much higher PPS than this---ones that had 1/10th the info after digging hard that this company is freely giving out. Those were definitive risks, certainly, and some I won and some I lost---this one I feel very confident about. Take that for what it's worth.
Too many good things going on here, and SLJB is in bed with too many substantial companies for this one to tank IMHO. I am loaded up and biding my time, much like many others here. The boat will be fill soon, and heading upriver. Probably in a hurry too if everything falls into place as it is structured in the info I've read so far. JMHO. GLTA
Some great thoughts all around here...I too believe that altho a quick divi would certainly help to quicken the pace in PPS up to Nas levels, I'm not so sure that the events will play out that way. There has to be some "breathing room" between the essential steps taken IMO so investors can absorb everything and be more apt to make decisions accordingly. More money comes in if people feel sure and confident. But hey, I'll take it either way it rolls, as long as it rolls clean. We'll have to sit tight and see what develops, that's all. Long and strong pays off on this one. JMHO.
That's OK Rocky, however you want to do yours is fine by me. But please do not talk down to me because you do not even know me or who I am, thanks. If you think for one minute that the way you do your research is any better or consistently more accurate than mine, by all means I'm all ears! That's what makes America great my friend-- we all can do things "our way". Only difference is I guess some think they are that much better than others, and that is a totally absurd determination to make in light of this being an aynonomous-entity messageboard system. Those who are looking for praise here have no business being here IMHO---no-one can demand respect, one must earn it. I study and research hard and do "my own DD" as hard as anyone else does, thanks.

Reading PR's, Company filings, history, current news and events, etc, are just as, if not more important as, burning your eyes out on the charts. Thanks for understanding. GLTU.
I think all of this is just another integral part of the "big bomb"(MOAB--mother of all bombs, hehe) that will soon be dropped. They have alot of ammo if you dig and sift thru all of the hints and info we already have received. I expect a flurry of big-time PR's within the next month myself. I'd say by sometime between now and around Sept 15th, we will know most if not all of what is going on and what that entails for us. JMHO! Remember to do your own DD, cause this is just my speculation.
Sorry I'm late, been playing catchup this morning...
Chip, if SLJB has gains from .10 to $9.10 in two days like the other stock you mentioned, methinks there will be alot of smiling faces around here!
If it goes in 2 months, that's fine with me too..
Patiently waiting.... GLTA.
Point noted. Can't say I like it, but it's noted.(lol)Too much dinkin and dunkin IMO. I'm a straight line kinda guy, and base alot of my business dealings on a honest handshake and a persons' word--- only been backstabbed once many years ago. I think Steve is alot the same way, and I believe that is why he seems frustrated with all of the BS. No matter what tho, eventually this thing is going to take off imo, and I'm just glad to be here for the ride. GLTU.
Agree. Always good to try and corner your market!
Seems ludicrous to me. If they set up shop at a much higher level they would be able to run back and forth over say a .20 to as much as $2.00 or so range depending on volume and pressure, rather than the little .01 to .02 they are now getting. Peanuts compared to Pounds. Doesn't make sense other than they maybe are just trying to ride it all the way up, but they all stand to make much more overall on the higher end and can get there much faster and make the bigger return if they just let it go. JMHO.
Yes, 30% of all production costs associated with the amount of lumber that they will be supplying to all projects is a significant increase, and they will easily pay for the mill from those savings in no time. Yet another good move by Steve and Co, this just keeps getting better and better as we go IMO.
I agree with much of your post. I too came in "way back when" and have been sitting on this stock for months now. I signed onto this board because I am intrigued by others' means of finding pertinent info, I am assuming much like many others who visit here. Being a long term investor, the day to day meanderings do not matter much to me for anything other than the entertainment value, however having said that I am very interested in learning all I can about the various processes used by others to come to their conclusions as it will only help me in the future. I don't know how much I can personally offer because most of my DD is based on the same stuff everyone reads along with a handfull of gut instinct that is not something one can teach--- many here seem to know much more than I do tho and that knowledge is what I'm looking to add to my portfolio. The bottom line and please don't think this a brag but I have made a good life for myself over the years via trading, some will call it luck of course but somehow I seem to repeatedly find (or stumble on to, depends on how you want to interpret it) the stocks that turn golden, and I have no doubt that SLJB will also in time. So as has been stated let's put the egos aside and share POSITIVE thoughts and opinions please, and help each other reach our goals. Thanks to everyone. GLTA.
Good post and I agree. We are all in this together, quit acting like rabid dogs fcsakes--let the egos lay and let's get on with helping each other understand this whole conglomeration of "roughage" being thrown upon us--- or I'm going to ask for my $89 back. :-P lol.
Good post! I agree, until we get all big guns onboard, ducks in a row, etc., and make the transition to the Nas, one can basically chuck the charts on this one IMO. Patience and strength to high target exit point will win this one. GLTU
Something to think about here:
Some years ago I bumped into another little up and coming stock called Sonus Networks. I bought in for basically chump change and ended up doing "quite well". To give an example of how fast this stock hit, on May 25 of 2000 (after hitting the Nasdaq) SONS had an open of $32.00 and a high of $51.63---not a bad startup run for a launching tech stock, right?! But wait, it gets WAY better---on July 25 of 2000, only 60 DAYS later, they had an open of $240.00 (that's right, $240.00!!) and a HOD of $254.00.
I love jumping into winners. And IMHO, SLJB will be yet another one of those "once in a lifetime" opportunities once everything falls into place. I'm loaded up, strapped in, and awaiting liftoff captain Steve! (LOL)
Moral of the story: Good things come to those who do their homework and have a little faith and patience.
Remember this is JMHO, do you own DD! GLTA!
It's not 2:30 yet!
Agreed. The divi on top of everything would send this into another millenium IMHO.
Volume should ramp up at eod again and IMO we end up nicely green.
Yes, either that or make the henhouse bigger! LOL
I don't think you are that far off in your thinking. JMHO tho.
