The agent won't be able to tell you much, but they might have the official restricted share count. I had asked them what requirements they have of companies whose stocks they hold - if they do any work to confirm the legitimacy of the enterprise - and they said they know nothing about the companies they work with. If a company pays them to hold the stock, they hold it. They were friendly and helpful, if not very enlightening. It was good for me to be able to confirm at least part of the info on the Nord website.
I've done quite a bit of research on this company and I see no reason not to trust their intentions. If they were trying to do a pump n'dump, there are easier ways. I also don't know why they'd take us for a ride on Nord when it would take their other company, Aurus, into the crapper with it. It doesn't make sense, even from a scammers warped point of view. If they were trying to run a scam multiple times, they wouldn't make the connection between the scams so transparent. I just don't see a scam here.
