my order is in again at 1.26. think it'll fill?
so i guess that means we're both still crazy...
cheynew....i was only up about 90k that friday... my order today was my first venture since spring, and it was just intended to get me back to a round number..still a few thousand shares less than what i had on that fateful monday....
still don't understand how a smallish order at 1.26 didn't fill when over 400,000 shares traded between 1.26 and 1.27 after i pushed the button.
maybe i'm going to believe there's an accumulation order taking whatever is offered at that number, and nobody else will fill till they're done...
anybody get any today at 1.26?
cheynew..
you're right about us all....
how many times have you dreamt that, all of a sudden, you we up $240,000 with PPHM?
I'm not that crazy!
i've had an order in to buy at 1.26 since about 10am with fidelity which still hasn't filled.
there are definitely games being played here, and i'd love to know who's doing and why.
true, but not with 24 hours of the first enrollment or dosing
i don't see where it's a given that there needs to be any PR by 12/31 whether they start P3 by then or not. Could be just one more prediction from this board that winds up wrong. I think everybody needs to just watch and wait....it'll come when it comes.
what a surprise that pphm can't go up along with just about everything else...
it's very, very sad to hear such news about soulofwolf....
dollar twenty-something.
time to fish or cut bait so we can, if it's real, (1)help patients, ((9) eat lots of stuffed lobster, or (10) just find something else to obsess over. 2-8 don't count.
can we please have a real breakthrough and recognize Thorpe's contribution??????????????????????????
finishing even the day after a call is like being up! be happy we didn't dive like most biotechs
it would be great if this, as a hint, would prove to have been the most significant quote from the call...
"And that because of our current valuation, we represent a unique investment opportunity"
maybe he winked to those in the conference room when he said it?
cautiously optimistic, surprisingly, after the call. need follow-through this morning from pros...
1.20s won't be interesting!
no, Krak, I can't. i don't have access to records of who is buying what, and neither does anybody else here.
why is pphm always under accumulation, always getting ready to announce the partnership, always waiting for the earth-shattering article to be published, etc., etc., etc.?
pphm is down in after hours trading 3 reports in a row, followed by being down more the following day. why would anybody be buying the dilution machine now?
jeez, already..
wook...
nobody's accumulating...
this is the safest trader's stock on the market.
any brave souls care to predict tomorrow's close and wednesday's open?
i'll open with 1.31 and 1.22
would rather see 1.31 and 2.12, but there's only been one positive surprise in the 12 years i've been here, and that only lasted as long as a head of lettuce.
i agree completely that the board is a shell of its former self.
i attribute a great deal of that to a combination of the Board's performance and the doubt, after all these years, of the value of the science.
it's not the posters who are responsible for the diminished quality of what you find here! we are almost invisible after 2 decades.
if i sell, i might check in, but how can i ignore it after 12 years?
yes, i was on a Board for 12 years, of a successful entrepreneurial company.
they're not all staffed by arrogant jerks.
sulaco...
AF and DD may have agendas...i"m not disputing that even a little bit. At the same time, they are bright and very, very sharp in terms of their depth of understanding scientifically and financially. throw in several other folks from the IHUB Biotech Values board who ocasionally post here..exwannabbe and others... people here should listen.
bavi may have a place going forward. as of today, wall street says it doesn't. not many people are SURE it doesn't, but the share price says it's a long shot.
the next few months will tell the story.
i, like too many, are underwater (thankfully not much after getting out of last year's mess by 10 minutes or so in pre-market).
if the BOD has the goods, it's time to do something about it or i'll be gone like a long list list of regular posters here who may have been far sharper than i am.
Sulaco...
with all due respect (even though you've trashed me unjustly, (IMO))...
how can you not 'get it' when people here have been faithful for as long and geo and many others while the PPHM execs NEVER do that insider-buying thing while ATM'ing the longs to death while never being able to recruit Wall Street supporters while so many Onco leaders 'never heard of PPHM/bavi, etc., etc., etc?
the BOD is minor league. If they/you want to change that image, they should DO something that would make an investor pleased for a change.
thoughts going into the weekend..
Oh, please..PLEASE...PPHM...have science that can make a difference. Too many people have too little time when the Big C comes calling...
Tustin... please, PLEASE...if the stuff works...split the difference between maybe becoming billionaires one day and getting something beneficial to patients QUICKLY... 99.9% of us will be really, REALLY good with that regardless of our investment objectives.. get this science in the hands of an entity with funding WHO CAN GET IT TO MARKET IF IT CAN HELP PEOPLE/FAMILIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SEC... please nail some boiler rooms who manipulate the *hit out of struggling biotechs to squelch scientific progress in order to protect their approved franchises
hopium addicts.. find the clarity to learn something from the DDs and AFs...they didn't just fall off the turnip truck
Do we have the goods or not? if we do...
Let it fly
looks like the hopium supply has run out, and people here are starting to see what others have been seeing for quite some time.
the folks at The Street and Biotech Values don't look so stupid now, do they?
the liver trial had better be extended due to outrageous survival, or the hopium addicts here are going to have a lot of 'splainin' to do.
as is not uncommon, people here are getting waaaaaaay ahead of the facts on putting potential value on this outfit.
we could hear many of the worn out phrases again in just a few days...
'next year should be big for us'
'we're in several discussions'
'intend to be partnered before P3...errrr, wait....we don't need a partner; it would slow us down' (don't look now, but i'm not sure you're MOVing)
'we won't use the ATM at these levels' (i'll believe that when there are no more shares to sell...)
how about not counting chickens before they hatch? a hundred biotechs have been bought out or have partnered since these quotes were first uttered in tustin, and here we sit at a fraction of what we were before the R/S. "Oh, but just look at the progress we've made!"
WRONG!!!! it AIN'T progress till somebody other than us retail stooges puts some money up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it's Morse for 'we're in talks'
while i remain hopeful, 12 years here have taught me to doubt P3 kicks off without a delay. of course, i wouldn't put it past them to announce it's started on time, but i wouldn't be surprised if they just dose a few people in Houston at MDA so they can say they met their schedule...
Imaging? you'd think we'd have heard something big by now...what's the holdup?
Liver? same as above...
drip, drip, drip...
i hope the new guy is right about next week
i'd say somebody's had more than enough time to accumulate...
i'd like to believe that's what it's been all about, but i'm not that naive!
i do not expect great liver data. wouldn't be shocked if we don't hear anything on this one.
we MAY have a bright future following the imaging and immuno paths, but pphm must still be considered a long shot.
do people here pay any attention at all to the other drug candidates and what 'smart money' is investing in? doesn't seem to be ours...
chris... you actually moved the market!
so why doesn't pphm get somebody to do it!
true, but that doesn't diminish the testing the author is referring to. there are plenty of articles with agendas on Seeking Alpha, The Street, and others, no? Sometimes they're right, sometimes they're wrong...isn't that why we wait for results?
the pphm crew says they have a revised understanding of how/why bavituximab...'works'...in the immune area. they're claiming that it could increase efficacy of primary drugs in combo by 2-300%. the yervoy-combo P1 should give an indication of whether there's anything to it or not. if it works, pphm may not be dead after all.
nh...
i don't think i really exaggerated very much at all.
while we've had some trials that didn't come across as being as successful as we would have liked, we haven't had many trials that could be stamped with a big red 'FAILED" label.. if the P1 isn't clearly a big improvement over yervoy alone, the bashers/shorters will be nastier than normal for a P1 since Brekken has gone on record with statements about the new understanding of the MOA and why it will work. so...if it doesn't, it puts the idea of being a gamechanger completely at risk while we are already suspect in the minds of many folks with opinions to blab and dollars to put elsewhere. if it works like we're told they think it will, yeah, it's off to the races even though it's only a P1.
we need a very successful trial under the newly defined MOA in order to be taken seriously, and to secure the financial terms so many here think pphm deserves. big money says 'show me'... we need a stunner, imo.
this P1 is really, definitely, a BIG deal. if it doesn't show outstanding improvement...like the 2-300% Brekken referred to...we could truly be history. for the first time, we're looking at going to zero if we don't go straight up. so why would institutions get on board while we're this cheap? if the results are great, their computers will be able to buy plenty before it shoots very high anyhow..
microbe man...
if you have a definitive statement to make which demonstrates that the ceo doesn't understand the stuff, bring it on. otherwise, your bailout from the board is suspect.
most of us here have taken shots to the body. only those with thin skin leave.
we're not in nasdaq's top 20 losers yet today, but we're gettin' close!
WHO is selling at this level, and, more importantly, WHY?
Dew...
any comments on pphm's expounding on details of what they're claiming to qualify their science as being legitimate immuno stuff which can successfully enhance treatment when combined with the new stuff several BPs are trumpeting?
I'd appreciate your input relative to the science, not necessarily to PPHM.
carboat...pphm is no longer a 'startup'.
while admittedly frustrated at the long, drawn out process, i remain hopeful that we're finally close to monetization and the prospect of helping people who are facing horrible reality...
