I'd lower that down to a maximum of 5.
You want to research and narrow down 3-5 good potentials and also think about what the industry will be aching for. What will it need to blossom?
Growlife is the biggest no brainier at this moment. There are a few other great potentials I won't mention, but my core holding is here with PHOT at home base.
As a grower who's harvests have benefited well from Growlife's greners.com website - I am a little biased. Then I look back 9-10 years when I started getting involved in this industry and get this feeling of justification.
Started with 150 watts, then 250 then 600 and so on. Like learning how to drive and starting with a low horsepower car before working your way up to power you can handle efficiently.
Then I look at all these facilities with dozens of 1kw lights in Colorado and think about how they will need to get even bigger due to demand.
It's always good to check out other options, but phot will likely be the last one I sell.
Slow and steady brother. As for ultimate industry leader, you probably already know my thoughts.
I will surely be tipping the monkey fund on our way up, we'll be exchanging paypal info soon enough.
There is too much up in the air to know if Trtc will make it big on the Mj side of things yet, but I'll keep a small position here because their fallback on produce production alone should be enough to raise pps and bring more legitimacy. Which side of the fence they fall on (produce or Mj) is a critical factor to me in deciding whether to add more or stay at current holdings.
Yup, 10-11 dip as usual. More down than expected, but not out of the ordinary.
Not every day can be a run to the sky, keep it real here.
No updates on JV, GIfT or kiosk progress - I'm surprised we've been running as we have been.
Exactly what I was referring to.
Blinders on any stock is bad, but we all have to learn from experience. Do I think it's a great long hold? Absolutely!
Is it a speculative Mj play at the moment? Absolutely!
Does it have boots down in the Mj industry yet? Nope, but should be coming soon.
Getting caught up in the emotions of thinking you're the best like a song from Rocky is the fastest and easiest road to a slice of humble pie. I know of several other Mj plays that members here ditched out of after being humbled this way. Then they run to another board thinking they've found the new best play - and the cycle continues.
I'm long on this stock and a few others, but a sense of reason is kept to hold any disappointment at bay. Keep your heads on straight, hard work and eyes on the prize will bring us all there.
I don't condone divine intervention, but that's certainly not the first time a motivational coincidence of events has led to great success.
Hopefully that + sign was also green!
A great case could be made for these people.
One could point to the accessibility of pot in the black market and that high schoolers don't get ID'd in underground sales. They should be Making it harder to get than alcohol, but accessible enough to kill that underground market off....
Regulations, everywhere. Wonder if the kiosk must process ID swipes? In which case, will people be concerned if this information doesn't remain anonymous?
My response to that thought would be that there are too many people buying to care if they're identified or not. Also doubt the fed would want to monitor pot purchasers.
Back to the main point. I would tell any conservative father who wants to take a hard line and do what's right for the kids this - "Sir, that solution is legalization and regulation. It is easily accessible in the black market, and they don't check ID. You want to minimize that black market? You legalize it and make harsh penalties if ID isn't checked."
What do you think series of events will be this week?
Will it sink down 4-5 cents in the morning with a mad dash at the end of the day to test .50?
Will she blow by .50 and settle in the mid .50's?
Or perhaps slowly start tracing down, goes back below .40 - everyone gets panicked for a moment. Flash forward. It's Wednesday and something good happens after state of the union speech followed by progress report on NV license?
Right? Right? Hot or cold on these guesses, all exciting possibilities.
It could be Trtc that breaks out above 1$ next. Safest bet is to have some of this one and perhaps 2 or 3 other top contenders so you don't miss out on any of it!
It may sound greedy, but I have a stock set away for residential acquisition, another for automotive, one for future living expenses and lastly a prospective play that should cover the expensive celebratory champagne. No biggie if the 'playboy' fund falls short because the others are more important.
Lots are worth short holds as well. A vaporizer stock I had turned my 1k into 10k so I sold it and reinvested into my longer term holds.
There are only a few with an actual shot at dollar land and Trtc is one of them.
Right there with you porky.
Put most of my savings into some of my favorite pot stocks near the end of last year.
by the middle of January had something close to a full year's pay. So 1 month of pot stocks = 12 months pay at a life sucking, overtime racking office job.
Let's not all quit our day jobs just yet, but when we can - I will see you guys in Vegas!
Stock fox just had a post that identified you before you even popped up.
Meach, I'm tired of holding my position since .06, can I sell it back to you privately at .06? I don't want my gains - you should have them.
Try something else, that's a dead horse you're kicking.
Good luck!
Great point you made that I forgot to touch on.
As we've seen through the grapevine, Sterling and Bill look to be teaming up on the Canadian side of things because of a more accepting government.
If fitx can even produce HALF of their expectations for production, we are looking at 1 billion + $$$$$.
It raises my curiosity as PHOT being a U.S. Based company. Will they turn to acquisitions in Canada for growing? What legal challenges do they face if so?
As I understand, public companies in the business of producing Mj based substances can't legally claim those gains, or are considered ill gotten gains. This may all change very quickly and very soon!
As others have pointed out, the buck doesn't stop at equipment. It encompasses regulatory systems and direct contact with Mj growers as well.
CEO has stated they are getting as close to the 'green line' as possible without crossing it.
When will they cross it? When the federal government says so.
I like this. why? Building blocks. Start with equipment, regulatory systems, grower contracts, joint ventures. End with acquiring grower collectives, extraction companies and pharmaceutical experts.
Safer, so much safer than those who will cross this bridge without the authorization of the federal government.
Big question though is if some start crossing the line early and force the fed's hand - will Growlife be able to jump start their plans on the green side of things?
Understandable.
Why not diversify a little? Keep your core position with PHOT and use some funds gained to get into lower float plays on shorter terms.
The way I've been doing this is keeping nearly all money in a long term phot hold that I'll accumulate with over time.
Then hold a few others for 1-2 weeks enough to double the money, sell and re-invest into your long term PHOT position.
So many other plays out there are terrific 'trades' right now, where PHOT is the 'investment'. You likely know all this, but just in case...
Great day all!
Nothing like making thousands of dollars a day on these pot boomers.
We can only hope this continues!

Righ - lots of potential but the pps has some catching up to do.
Management needs to get themselves in public more and keep shareholders in the loop.
Such high volume, where's the upward motion?
It will become 100% mandatory in New York if they follow the ridiculous plan of using confiscated cannabis for medical patients.
Let me say also that I strongly believe this will be changed moving forward to allow growers to provide.
However, it would be incredibly stupid for NY lawmakers to give medical patients untested street weed.
Is RIGH the only public company involved in the lab testing portion? I've been watching the stock, but it hasn't gone anywhere.
Yup, knew the DEA wasn't ready to roll over and take it just yet.
On the positive side - she'll likely get enough political and public backlash to where she must rescind or resign from her position.
Time for cannabis supporters to change the tide with lobbyists that will pay out more than the current prison lobbyists. Guess the extra tax revenue isn't a big enough paycheck for leonhart yet.
You're mostly right.
Except hydroponic/aeroponic growing can cut down your time in vegetative phase. It is faster than soil if dialed in. Maybe this liquid oxygen speeds root growth.
It is also strain dependent. Some strains can finish in 50-55 days in flower, where as some hardcore tropical sativas can take up to 100 days in flower to finish.
They compliment each other I suppose.
Wild unorthodox Bill
Professional silent Sterling
We'll see what the future holds. Good day all!
Wow, great post thank you.
That would be the most optimistic outcome, yet not unrealistic.
I've been thinking about Bill's approach lately...
So I come from the world of formal professionalism. I believe conforming to that formal approach is important.
However, the guy is putting it all on the line with social media. If he doesn't deliver, he'll get burned so badly that he'd never be able to show his face again. He's speaking to shareholders via social media and oddly enough there are complaints here often that shareholders don't get enough communication.
Admirable risk putting it all on the line like that.
And maybe a quadruple threat for offering a sales kiosk for an easy way to comply with state regulations.
Best case scenario - if states mandate a regulatory kiosk for all dispensaries.
The company making these machines, they've had federal contracts - right?
Hmmm
Negatives? Maybe people don't want their names processed for purchase of Mj through a system like that. Maybe they'll have to anonymize the transfers.
100% agreed.
Haha brother there are so many posts referencing both companies on each board that it would probably give the admins less trouble.
Great times were living in everyone! Plenty of $$$ to go around.
This increase in funds converted me back from years if being a saver to a belligerent spender - I need to cool it! Haha
Which products? that is what I'm curious to know both as an investor and grower. Which to avoid, which to seek future improvement.
In your DD did you try using any of those products to grow?
I would like to keep this board on track with Trtc speak, but the information you relay back could be of great service.
Thank you.
Dilution is the biggest topic of both concern and confusion in reference to the big ph...
I completely understand why it makes people apprehensive, but the truth is that they want to rapidly expand and it can't happen without dilution.
Can you point out a time where they have clearly recklessly diluted without the future of the company in mind?
It's a good question, and not one I can answer either.
Look guys, let me make this perfectly clear. I am absolutely thrilled with ph#t and Trtc in this sector. I don't want to see anymore of this animosity between the two, it reminds me of kids who only have one best friend when they could have two big bad best friends.
For ph$t's dilution issues - honestly as well time will tell. I believe it's overemphasized. There have been people saying this stock will fail since .05 and somehow it had seen .25, .45 - etc. perhaps diluting in the interest of the company's future isn't the end of the world after all if it can rise like that?
I'm sure Trtc can go ahead and get supplies at production cost, but we don't know if ph would offer them a better deal.
Have you checked icmag.com? It's a concentrated community of cannabis growers I have been a part of for 10+ years.
I can tell you as a grower that their products helped me hit my 1 gpw goal. It's probably one of the biggest reasons for my support.
They help me improve yield, I become a repeat customer as I continue to expand - it's that simple.
To add a realistic negative, you can buy grow supplies from a lot of online companies. I used to buy from HIDhut and bghydro.com. The first digital ballast I bought from HIDhut failed within 2 months. Bghydro may have shut down by now, but if not then I know their store was down for several months. Greners just happened to have quality lumatek and galaxy ballasts for better prices and they haven't failed after years of use...
What are the bad reviews you have read?
Just responding to someone else's comments. Maybe they'll do business together, maybe they won't.
Either way, that's how industry leaders would corner a market. If you want the biggest slice of the pie, you get the two biggest names together.
If you don't think they could form amazing business relationships, you're sadly mistaken. Getting defensive and acting like Trtc would be a 'tugboat' of sorts is exactly the nearsighted vision I am speaking of.
Each company can stand alone and be a big market player. Though together they could form something that would bounce other competitors right out.
Both have been operating legally for
A long time, only one had been in the Mj industry for years already.
It opens more doors for Growlife than it closes.
Consider the perspective of growers or collectives.
Options available to either get a loan from the bank to buy equipment.
Or have equipment loaned directly from supplier.
Both will have payments back with interest.
Or a grower could get a loan for a down payment on the gift program, but I don't see that as a smart option.
Also, opening bank doors may mean amending grey areas that would have otherwise been roadblocks for Growlife to provide the GIFT program in states like Washington.
I've seen some trying to spin that news in a negative light, but it's ultimately an industry positive that would allow a higher volume of cash flow into the company.
When you think about, regardless of what banks will be allowed to do, growers still need supplies to grow.
Let's say worst case that bank lending causes a downtrend in the GIFT program that has received overwhelming demand as is...
Well that bank loan will go towards equipment either way. Keeping the GIFT door half open and the bank door blown off the hinges.
IMO
Whoever your stock account is with should have emailed the proxy vote to you, you can vote online with it.
I like em too, but that statement is just... (Facepalm)
Do you think we'll get more feedback than that?
I'd like to see why they didn't like him, was video released?
This is the issue I ran into when researching fitx in 2013.
Lots of ticked off shareholders and notes that he sold supplements that weren't good over amazon. It's the very reason I stayed away from fitx until recently.
has Chabaan turned a new leaf? It's a story yet to be told. If you went to the rumor mills and statuses of 2013 - I probably wouldn't give wild bill a shot in hell.
What about now? Assuming he wouldn't join up for our equipment if he didn't have the licenses.
Do Canadian professionals handle themselves differently from American professionals? Is there to be one objective view on professionalism?
Bill is unorthodox and I haven't heard enough on the progress yet to lean one way or the other.
So arcview shot him down? Is there a link to arcview feedback or something similar saying this?
Apostle you are one smart cookie...
Hahaha, enjoyable read.
I read about 4 or 5 Mj stock boards daily and it sure is all the same.
They're all backing up from higher levels this morning at this time in particular.
I enjoy your posts, they bring good humor to the day.
Beep beep back up the truck.
Best luck on your buy in price!
With you.
Progeny of legal minds, we are destined to verbally spar weekly over this industry and then come back in for group hug.
Here's something I did like. As soon as NJ became disappointing, Derek shifted focus on NV. Getting that license is huge for them in becoming a fully tangible MJ sector stock. In my mind that is an upgrade from speculative to definite.
The yellow light strategy may mean a head start, and could present only a minor level of risk with Feds easing grasp.
Most interestingly, I understand Derek privately owns one or more dispensaries. His ability to then merge that into his public gameplan would be great to see.
Actually, I've had 3 replies from that post, each of them a bit exuberant and that's disconcerting. I will concede any faults with my core stock just the same as I will point out not all blue skies are without their clouds with others.
asking those hard questions or putting out hypotheticals is somehow offensive in an open forum? but these are things I'm realistically thinking about.
I've thought about them with every 'mj' stock I own.
I'm extremely transparent with my agenda and that is I have a stake in Trtc - but will add if it goes lower. Right now I'm enjoying soaking up gains across the board.
My point is that there is a lot SA can do to exploit us while most of the startups are emerging from pennies. I said I didn't want it to happen.
Some get so caught up in cheerleading that they completely fail to think logically or objectively - everything becomes relative to their one stock instead of the big picture. I don't blame you, I've been there.
Getting away from that mentality and diversifying helped me breathe easy.
Me? Personally I'd rather overthink and lower expectations so I'm not too emotionally involved that disappointment is a pain.
Still holding my shares in Trtc, what does that say?
I'm expecting the next SA article that comes out will target Trtc, then we can all officially boycott SA once and for all.
True that the .18 gap may never fill, but we've seen SA slowly and systematically exploit good looking Mj stocks one by one.
If they do target Trtc for a sideswipe, I'll load up on some more.
I'd rather they don't do this, but just in seeing the pattern - this one may be up next.
