Ya,so, revenues NOT crashing. Losses actually decreasing.
It's all in the fins. Anyone can see. I already did the math; you're more than welcome.

HALF-MILLION DOLLAR QUARTERS NOT OKAY????
Hemp was doing under $100k in Q1 2018.
NOW they do 5x that, for nearly $500,000 in one quarter, and still people writing this company off as dead?
Hard to find other companies doing $500K to $1M+ quarters... QUARTERS! Not years, but every three months, hundreds and thousands being made.
The expenditures, as expected, have dropped quite significantly. Not saying we won't see some more spending in the future, but as long as the rate of sales increase at a higher pace, there is nothing to fear. The REVS will catch up, and the SPENDING will taper off. And with a little math, PROFIT.
Q1 2019, first report since Hemp legalized on a national platform, with USA #1 global consumer of hemp-based goods... and it's only the beginning.
BILLIONS and BILLIONS in market value ahead. Everyone and their beta fish knows that hemp industry is going to be around, and probably forever, with thousands and thousands of new products yet to be introduced to the public.
PLASTIC, PAPER, CLOTHES, BUILDING MATERIALS, MEDICINE, OIL....
How many goods does that cover?
There are more....

unlike past forward looking grand illusions
Because it is seasonal.
Like he said, it's farming.
If a crop is grown for a spring or early summer harvest, then sales tend to be first half of the year. Conversely, if the crop is harvested in the summer or fall (like most) then sales tend to be later in the year.
Think of it another way, the Super Bowl. Sales tend to spike during one period of the year, then sharply decrease before ramping up through another "cycle".
Farming is seasonal, therefore "cyclical".
Sales increase over same 3-month trialing period year over year is a GOOD sign of growth.
Everyone has been waiting to see the consecutive quarterly growth, and it is starting to show.

HEMP is not in Vermont
even though the local folk DEMAND HEMP's presence and to bring its expertise with.
Economies of scale.
I'll say it again.
Economies of scale.
And one more time.
ECONOMIES OF SCALE.
Those little mobile, pop-up decorticators are good for small mom-and-pop micro farms. They don't compare when doing MILLIONS of pounds. That's where the big boys take over, offering a one-stop-shop of hemp processing. Farmers from all over can simply unload their hemp, have it dried, cleaned, cured, and further processed down into several types of byproducts. Set it and forget it, with a group like HEMP.
LCP Oregon was a huge hit. Hundreds of part-time and full-time jobs created. Was the talk of southern Oregon, and we all know the who's who of cannabis is in the PNW, and not little old sleepy Vermont. They did several hundred-thousand pounds of hemp processing, and only on 8 greenhouses.
Now, soon to be 24 MORE GREENHOUSES, for a total of 32 GREENHOUSES. That is enough room for A LOT more hemp.
Million dollar quarters going to look like fart in a hurricane, and it's only a matter of months away.
HEMP doing more than one state, too.
HEMP doing retail, too.
I'm sure they'll get into lazy old Vermont at some point, but bigger fish to fry. Have to capture the bigger markets first. Market share is most critical...
And only one harvest a year in far north...
HEMP seeking max yield, and Vermont is not the right place for mass production.
Free greenhouses, what a charity? LOL!
Opinions or illusions, hard to tell IMO...
Already know who the competition is...
Every Coca-Cola has it's Pepsi...

Michigan lawmakers seek movement on cannabis banking and hemp regulations
By Roger Lotz | Posted: Tue 3:15 PM, May 14, 2019
LANSING, MI (WILX) - State Representatives Yousef Rabhi (D-Ann Arbor) and Jim Lilley (R-Park Lake) introduced a resolution in the Michigan House urging passage of the federal Secure and Fair Enforcement (SAFE) Banking Act of 2019 by Congress.
Senator Curtis Hertel Jr. (D-East Lansing) introduced a concurrent resolution in the Michigan Senate.
Most banks refuse to do business with licensed cannabis companies due to marijuana's federal status as a Schedule I substance, which results in the industry relying heavily on cash transactions.
The SAFE Banking Act would prevent federal regulators from penalizing financial institutions that handle marijuana-related transactions if they are legal under state law.
"Michigan cannabis businesses operate in a legal, highly regulated industry. They deserve to have accesses to the same banking opportunities as any other business in this state," said Michigan Cannabis Industry Association Executive Director Robin Schneider. "We have more than 30 states with medical marijuana and 10 states that allow full adult-use legalization. It's time for Congress to pass the SAFE Banking Act."
"The people of Michigan overwhelmingly voted to legalize medical marijuana and adult use of marijuana," Rep. Rabbi said. "But it's hard to maintain a safe, well-regulated, and taxed marijuana industry when they are forced to run a cash-only business. It's in the public interest to let them use banks and credit unions like everyone else."
"It doesn't make sense to treat legal, regulated businesses like illicit drug dealers," Sen. Her tel said. "These folks are just trying to run a business and pay their taxes, but federal banking regulations are getting in the way. For the sake of public safety and accountability, Congress needs to give legal marijuana businesses access to the banking system."
"By forcing business owners to carry around duffel bags full of cash or purchase old banks so they are able to utilize the buildings' existing vaults, we are openly inviting criminals, thieves, and thugs to engage in money laundering, robbery, and extortion. It's time we put an end to this, and Congress has the power to act to protect our communities and our families."
In addition to the House and Senate banking resolutions, Rep. Sherry Gay-Dagnogo (D-Detroit) introduced a resolution calling for the federal government to establish rules governing industrial hemp.
Hemp lacks the psychoactive ingredient, tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), and can be used to make clothing, building materials and even food products. It was legalized in Michigan in 2018 via Proposal 1 and nationally in the 2018 Farm Bill.
"Lack of federal action also affects farmers and researchers who would like to grow commercial hemp, which is why I have a resolution calling on the U.S. Department of Agriculture to finalize rules for this now-legal product," said Rep. Gay-Dagnogo.
Gay-Dagnogo's resolution states that Detroit has an abundance of vacant land that could be used for industrial hemp farming, as well as the processing and production of over 25,000 potential products and finished goods.

Diluting has been the ongoing non issue of the decade. Prices go up and down. The market reset is in, and now REVENUES are in the making. MILLIONS of them.
The expenditures can be cut off at any time. Once the coast-to-coast buildout is complete, it's PROFIT time.
You thought industries appear at the drop of a hat, like magic?
Ridiculous!
Too early for profits.
Got a public hemp co doing better than HEMP?
This isn't a popup store in the mall. Hemp Inc is building a multi state hemp infrastructure, and will likely not stop until the entire country is growing hemp.
We are seeing MILLION dollar quarters, however... more coming?

Levi's found a way to make hemp feel like cotton, and it could have big implications for your wardrobe
Richard Feloni May 8, 2019
With the legalization of hemp in the United States last December, the industry has been exploding: Reports and Data estimates it'll be worth $13.03 billion by 2026. While you've probably noticed hemp-derived CBD products everywhere, hemp also has major implications for sustainable clothing — and denim icon Levi Strauss & Co. has made significant progress in making this happen.
In March, Levi's debuted a collaboration with the Outerknown label that includes a pair of jeans and jacket made from a 69%-cotton/31%-hemp blend that feels like pure cotton. Why's that significant? Hemp, a cannabis plant with a negligible amount of the psychoactive chemical THC, uses significantly less water and chemicals than cotton. Unlike cotton, though, the material is difficult to work with. The cotton fibers in your shirt are derived from a puffy bud on top of a plant, while hemp fibers come from a tall, sturdy trunk.
"It's a longer, stiffer, coarser fiber," Levi's head of global product innovation, Paul Dillinger, told Business Insider. "It doesn't want to be turned into something soft. It wants to be turned into rope." Levi's has found a way to make hemp fibers soft and able to blend with cotton, but in a way that uses significantly less water than the process used to turn hemp plants into a rough material. "It's great that it's resonating with the consumer, but it's more important that it's helping to future-proof our supply chain," he said.
Dillinger explained that this is a significant research project that will continue for years, rather than a project that only results in a couple of high-end, niche products. "Our intention is to take this to the core of the line, to blend it into the line, to make this a part of the Levi's portfolio," he said.
Dillinger said Levi's is continuing to work on improving the quality of its cottonized-hemp, to the point where it can be nearly half of a cotton-blend for most apparel, as well as fully hemp for certain products. And in five years, he said, he expects "a 100% cottonized-hemp garment that is all hemp and feels all cotton."
Dillinger said that the need for cotton alternatives became apparent when looking at the growth trajectory of cotton demand compared to access to fresh water required for its cultivation and processing. Since he was familiar with the nature of hemp, he did not expect to find a solution there... until Levi's discovered cutting-edge research in Europe, where industrial hemp was already legal in many countries. Levi's would not reveal its partners or details of its breakthroughs, except to say that it had a market-ready material after three years.
When Levi's finds a way to make 100% cottonized-hemp clothing, "We're going to go from a garment that goes from 3,781 L of fresh water, 2,655 of that in just the fiber cultivation," Dillinger said, drawing from data collected by the Stockholm Environmental Institute. "We take out more than 2/3 of the total water impact to the garment. That's saving a lot."
Despite his optimism, Dillinger was quick to point out that he doesn't want hype around the hemp industry to make it seem like Levi's and its competitors are going to fully replace cotton or revolutionize the industry overnight. To do it properly, there remains many years of research and development. Plus, it's likely hemp will be just one of several natural cotton alternatives.
The idea is that hemp clothing, whether in a cotton blend or by itself, isn't going to be a fad. Dillinger said that while he can't speak for the company on this point, he personally isn't too concerned about the marketing of cottonized-hemp clothing, because the ideal down the line is that customers won't even notice a difference.
"So often there's the assumption that to purchase a sustainably-made product is going to involve a sacrifice, and that the choice is between something ethically made or something that's cute," he said. "You don't have to sacrifice to buy sustainably."

Walmart, Target quietly exploring CBD product lines
By Lisa Fickenscher
May 12, 2019
Big-box retailers aren’t selling CBD yet, but they’re busy getting ready for the day when they can.
The Post has learned that top executives at major chains such as Walmart and Target have been quietly meeting with makers of drinks, gummy bears, topical creams and oils that are infused with cannabidiol, or CBD.
CBD is an ingredient in marijuana plants that doesn’t get you high, but is said to relieve pain as well as stress symptoms including anxiety and insomnia.
The chains, which also include big supermarkets such as Kroger and Safeway, are requesting samples of CBD products, along with lab results and pricing information, manufacturers said.
That’s despite the fact that the Food and Drug Administration said in December that it’s illegal to spike food and beverages with CBD or THC — the pot ingredient that does get you high — or to transport them over state lines.
“We are flying around the country, talking to all the big guys at their headquarters,” said Christian Graversen, brand manager of California-based CBDfx, a 6-year-old company that makes more than 50 CBD-infused products including a $10 package of eight gummy bears.
“We are going multiple times to the same companies, meeting with their senior buyers, legal departments and merchandising executives,” Graversen added.
Major retailers are angling for a piece of the exploding CBD industry, which is expected to more than double to $2.1 billion by next year as consumers pay premium prices for products to treat maladies ranging from arthritis to ADHD.
Up to now, the lion’s share of the CBD bonanza has been going to mom-and-pop shops. But a few bigger chains, including Walgreens, CVS and GNC, have begun selling CBD-infused topical creams that treat wrinkles and pain in states where they’re allowed, including New York.
“We do not have plans to carry CBD products at this time,” Walmart said in a statement, declining to elaborate on its CBD strategy.
“Like many companies, we know there is consumer interest in CBD products, and the conversation is evolving quickly,” a Target spokesperson said. “We’re following the discussion, but currently don’t have any immediate plans to carry them.”
Nevertheless, both chains are not only doing due diligence on CBD but also hatching plans for how to sell it, sources said.
“The major retailers are [designing] shelves, laying out space where CBD products will sit in their stores, but they aren’t buying any product yet,” said Michael Kirban, chief executive of Vita Coco.
The coconut water brand is planning to roll out a version of its drinks this summer infused with hemp, a non-psychoactive component of marijuana that last December got removed from a list of illegal substances under federal law with the signing of the US Farm Bill.
But the rollout will likely be limited to smaller chains and stores, Kirban said. Bigger retailers are waiting on a permanent FDA ruling on marijuana-based products, which is not expected until the end of this year at the earliest.

Colorado Marijuana Sales in March Hit Highest Monthly Total Ever
THOMAS MITCHELL | MAY 13, 2019
Marijuana sales keep breaking records in Colorado, where dispensaries collected more money in March 2019 than in any other month since recreational pot sales started in January 2014.
According to the state Department of Revenue, legal marijuana products totaling over $142.4 million were sold in March, with recreational pot responsible for the bulk of that. Both recreational and overall sales set records for a single month, beating out the next-highest month, August 2018, by a little over $1 million.
Spurred by over $114.3 million in recreational sales, dispensary revenues jumped over 16 percent from February to March, DOR data shows. Medical sales also saw a small bump, hitting slightly over $28 million.
Dispensary sales are still on a fast track in 2019, and will beat out the total at the end of 2018 if the current pace continues, jumping more than 5 percent year-over-year in March. However, it looks like that record pace will be largely dependent on recreational sales, as DOR data trends show that medical sales have flatlined over the past several years.

Farmers put in more than 600 applications to grow, process hemp in Illinois
Illinois News Network
Up until the 1950s, hemp was an important industrial product in the United States, used for everything from ropes and clothing to parachutes for the military during World War II.
Then came the War on Drugs, and when all forms of cannabis, the category marijuana belongs to, were banned and hemp production declined.
Farmers have submitted more than 600 applications to grow or process hemp to the Illinois Department of Agriculture under recently announced regulations for the crop. More applications are coming in daily.
Jeff Cox is the bureau chief for the agriculture department’s Bureau of Medicinal Plants, which oversees medical marijuana production and now will regulate the hemp industry.
It is an industry, he said, that likely will prove a boon to farmers, industry and the public alike.
With the prices for soybeans and corn, Illinois’ major crops, remaining lackluster for the past few years, diversifying is a good strategy for the state’s farmers. Hemp is largely drought-resistant, pest-resistant and does not need a lot of fertilizer.
The potential markets are almost limitless.
“If you can make it, you can make it out of hemp,” Cox said.
Among the best-known products are rope and CBD oil, which has been touted as a remedy for all sorts of medical conditions from anxiety to arthritis. Cox said his department does not vouch for its efficacy.
Hemp can also be used to make shirts that are softer than cotton, “hempcrete” that is as strong as concrete and plastics that are biodegradable, among a host of other products.
“We don’t have a lot of industrial uses in the United States for the industrial side of hemp,” Cox said. “As those markets develop, I think we have a potential” for growth.

Governor Signs Bill Approving Industrial Hemp Production in Iowa
POSTED 6:45 PM, MAY 13, 2019, BY STAFF WRITER
DES MOINES, Iowa -- Iowa farmers are one step closer to being able to grow hemp legally.
On Monday, Gov. Kim Reynolds signed a bill that approves growing industrial hemp in Iowa. But farmers can't start growing it right away.
First, the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship has to develop a state plan and get it approved by the USDA. Officials believe it could be approved by the start of the 2020 growing season.
“Just like any new product or any niche market, we are really advising growers to have their eyes wide open when they're getting into this to understand what that marketplace looks like. We believe we can grow it in the state of Iowa. We want to make sure that folks can get paid to grow it as well,” said Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig.
Naig also wanted to clarify what this bill means for marijuana in Iowa.
“What this bill doesn't do is legalize marijuana. It also doesn't legalize CBD. What it does do is authorizes the Department of Agriculture to implement an industrial hemp program. That’s hemp with a THC level of 0.3 percent or below. There are really specific controls around that,” said Naig.
Most hemp production had been outlawed by the federal government for nearly a century. That moratorium ended last year.

38 Attorneys General Ask Congress To Bring Marijuana Money Into Banking System
May 9, 20197:29 AM ET
The attorneys general of 38 states and territories sent a letter to congressional leaders on Wednesday, urging them: Please, let us bank the money generated by the country's booming cannabis business.
Most states and several U.S. territories have legalized medical marijuana, and 10 states and the District of Columbia have legalized adult recreational use. But federal law still considers marijuana illegal, which exposes banks to legal risk if they handle weed-related money or transactions.
"This is simple: Not incorporating an $8.3 billion industry into our banking system is hurting our public safety and economy," California Attorney General Xavier Becerra, one of the signatories, said in a statement. "The SAFE Banking Act would reward taxpayers and small and local licensed businesses who play by the rules. We urge Congress to pass legislation to meet the demands of our growing economy."
The attorneys general say they want to move the marijuana business out of a financial gray area and into the regulated banking sector. Many marijuana businesses end up dealing in cash, and lots of it — making revenue tracking and taxation more difficult for states and creating targets for crime.
As NPR's Yuki Noguchi reported last month, finance in the weed business means armed guards and armored vehicles. And a cannabis business may pay thousands in monthly fees just to have a bank account.
The letter calls on Congress to advance the SAFE Banking Act or similar legislation, expanding financial services to legitimate cannabis-related businesses and service providers and reduce the amount of cash they hold.
"Our banking system must be flexible enough to address the needs of businesses in the various states and territories, with state and territorial input, while protecting the interests of the federal government," the attorneys general wrote. "This includes a banking system for marijuana-related businesses that is both responsive and effective in meeting the demands of our economy."
In late March, the House Financial Services Committee advanced the bill, and it has attracted 175 co-sponsors from both parties so far.
One of the bill's sponsors, Rep. Ed Perlmutter, D-Colo., wrote that support from state officials "underscores the need to respect states' rights on this issue and make our communities safer by allowing the marijuana industry and related businesses access to the banking system."
The AGs' letter earned praise from the banking industry. "The commonsense bill provides much needed clarity for banks in states where cannabis is legal," wrote the American Bankers Association.
American Banker magazine notes that the key obstacle to the legislation is not gathering enough votes but getting Senate leadership to prioritize the matter. The Senate Banking Committee Chairman Mike Crapo, a Republican from Idaho, is from one of the only states that hasn't legalized or decriminalized marijuana at all. That may account for the public safety framing of the issue.
Don Childears, president and chief executive officer of the Colorado Bankers Association, told the magazine that the goal is to get cash off the streets: "We've had people killed in robberies of marijuana shops here in Colorado. I can't say that wouldn't happen if you had banking services, but at least you wouldn't have the temptation of large amounts of cash."
