Good day for longs you deserve it, stock has really been pounded down as of late, however as I posted before the dollar volume is so low stock price can easily be manipulated up or down.
Glad to see most here have let go of the NPSDP deal prospects since it has clearly been proven to be a ruse, however the fantasy seems to be alive and well on the company paid for board.
Waiting for a deal on Hay, my bet is that JB will come up with something similar but with a twist, it will be with an off shore entity, which unlike Genesis will not be so easily inspected for its veracity
True on all fronts
Totally different market, mining stocks and mineral prices all spiked, any and all the dogs went up to, most are in the process of shutting down or already have, due to the circumstances I described in the "Hustle" comments, bad stocks then, bad stocks now, with nothing to mine except shareholders
True,very true
I feel bad for some on the other board hoping Genesis comes thru with money soon, lets see.
1, Genesis goes to the bank and they get a 25 million dollar loan
2. they instantly start mining at NPSDP
Question? with the 25 million do they A. develop a mine or b. give the money to LBSR, they can't do both so that's the paradox of the deal, because you will not instantly start mining anything with only 25 million, and a new mine takes years to bring on line, and if his process was so novel and innovative, why borrow money, just prove it up with a major and sell it or license it to them for millions
That's why its called the "Vancouver Hustle" most are based in Vancouver and most (95%) will never be mined and are merely a vehicle for management to earn a living selling shares out of the back door while promising shareholders they have the goods out of the front door, most are properties that the majors discarded long ago, and the hustlers pick them up, repackage them to a new set of I want to get rich naive investors.
btw this stock is not dead it will be re-packaged and re-sold to new investors once all of the current ones are wiped out, which is pretty close with LBSR, sorry to say that's how it works and its not new
AK is dead money, NPSDP is dead money, only Hay is left and as most are starting to see it may not be dead yet, but its surely in critical condition
And by naive I mean that companies play on a common human trait of greed, putting in a little and getting a big return, just like the casinos
“Significant interest continues after the Manila meeting. Four mining experts are expected to travel to Tucson, where a thorough tour will be arranged, which will take an expected three to four days, to examine local large mines that are similar to what is expected at depth at Hay Mountain. The tour will be conducted as soon as travel visas can be arranged. We believe that because of their background they will be as impressed with the potential as we are. Of course success cannot be assured, but this a very strong starting point.
When are they coming, investors want to know, its almost been 2 months now, or have they been here already?
I agree on both points
Here's the innovative financing plan presented in the Philippines by BOD member I am sure. no details of course
“Primary Investor in Hay Mountain Super Project LLC has the opportunity to participate in full District development and the flexibility to substantially increase financial participation in discrete operating companies depending on funding capabilities and risk tolerance.” – Jim Briscoe, President & CEO
It will take someone a lot smarter than me to decipher exactly what that means
And a correction to a previous post:
Its up to 2 billion invested in Hay over the next 7 years until production or an avg of $290 million per year for the next 7
I agree he spelled it out long before I arrived here, my kudos to BANKS also
You have really undressed this stock and gave new meaning to the phrase "the emperor has no clothes" masterful performance and research
But that's why its called the "Vancouver hustle" you release contrived and specious NR's out of the front door, all the while peddling toxic to current holders shares out of the back door, until they are diluted to nothing, you then rinse and repeat with new shareholders.
As you can see with the recent NR he's done with NPSDP, saying its up to Mr. Mueller AS HE SEES FIT to proceed, in other words the day after the earth freezes over again;
And in regards to Hay, looks like in the current fairy tale he'll need north of 500 million dollars to a bring mine on line in his fictional, probable, leveler inspired 4 years, 500 mil? from who? I've heard of delusions of granduer but that's off the scale, even for JB
PART 1
Shocking but true
PART 2
LOL
I think you underestimate JB, by saying he's smarter than some give him credit for, I for one think he's brilliant, how else can a person be CEO of 2 mining companies for over 30 years and produce NOT one oz of industry standard verifiable mineral resource and keep his job, saying he's smart does not do him justice.
You try going to work and don't deliver some kind of certifiable result at your job for even a few months and see what will happen to you.
Its very important because NPSDP is the so-called lynch pin of LBSR's recovery plan in which royalties from the mine and a monthly payment from Genesis will set LBSR apart from other explorers, as it was said elsewhere, so its very important to talk about, I would think.
However, I will say this in agreeing with a poster from the LBSR paid board, something has to give very soon with LBSR, JB is just about out of bullets or authorized shares for sale, the 200 million or so left gets him very little at these share prices, so he has to come up with something very soon or either up the authorized share count very, very soon.
And the bad part is, its all is coming at the historically slow season for miners May-September, almost like a prefect storm
What exactly does this mean, the quote below from JB
Regarding Mr. Mueller and NPSDP
He has made the decision to proceed, and proceed he will as he sees fit
So no timetable, no expected date of completion, nothing except, AS HE SEES FIT?
WOW! what a deal, doesn't sounds like JB is in any hurry? I wonder why? maybe its LBSR is doing so well that JB is in no hurry for the 25 million or the royalty payments to start, interesting concept, hire a contractor and stipulate do it when you see fit, who would make that kind of deal?
Thought he would at least throw longs a bone regarding Hay, at least say we are still in constant communication with interested Philippine parties or the visits are coming up soon, but nothing, oh well maybe next month
If I was a long I wouldn't be expecting anything from that deal anytime soon, and as I said before I mean YEARS!
Excellent work, but believe it or not on the company paid board some are still touting NPSDP as the savior of LBSR
I can, post one thing that LBSR has said that negotiations are under way, as I have been saying constant communications with interested parties doesn't mean a deal is in the works, it merely means you are talking to someone about something, that could mean the weather in the Philippines in the next 3 months or the price of LNG in AZ or the 2016 election in the U.S, ANYTHING
What you do say means something as well as what you don't say means something, that why I said the NR's are misleading, LBSR NEVER said a deal was pending, hopefuls and longs said it, but as usual time will prove whats right, just as it did with the NPSDP
Proof and a quote from LBSR filed in 10k:
As to NPSDP, company says this
Due to the moratorium of location of lode mining claims on the Arizona Strip and the low price of U3O8 we have no current exploration plans and will not until the uranium price increases and the moratorium expires in about 15 years
I rest my case
I am glad he leveled with shareholders and told them that NPSDP will not be developed anytime soon, and the deal with Genesis or whatever so-called deal that was struck was totally bogus(my words not his) as I had also been saying all along.
I give kudos to JB for that, no matter how is was done. tell the truth it doesn't matter to many, my read of this board is that there are many longs that are "all in" and are willing to gone down with the ship, its listing and leaking badly now, SO DAMN THE TORPEDOS ITS FULL SPEED AHEAD
And I am not accusing him of doing anything illegal, because its all legal, but the end result will be the same, shareholders lose, but over the years JB's made a pretty good living and delivered NOTHING to shareholders in the process
I think you have it wrong, JB got EXACTLY what he wanted, drilling companies were JB controlled entities, so the money spent on drilling went directly to his "other company", which btw is defunct now, its a back door way of getting money out of the company, its part and parcel of what's called the "Vancouver Hustle" same as charging back for office space, selling your company JABBA to BOD members, charging back for warehouse space etc, etc, etc.
If you follow a lot of mining companies out of Vancouver they all do the same thing on the back end, while diluting shareholders on the front end, eventually when the hustle goes stale, LBSR claims will be transferred to a new entity and the game will start all over again.
AK is dead, NPSDP has been shifted to Genesis, company line is "we are waiting for them to get financing" so don't ask about it any more, btw a Bankrupt entitity, Hay Mountain is next, should be soon, since its all that's left which can be marketed to current and potential shareholders, and the share price is nearing zero, and the so-called Philippine prospect is just that, a marketing ploy.
As the summer comes, an no deal becomes evident, look for another "HAIL MARY" NR, when LBSR will shift the conversation to the next big thing, all the while saying they are in constant communication with all interested parties.
If I am wrong I'll be the first to apologize, however the post seem to be unrealistic for a person who claims knowledge of the mining business, blue skies, everythings ok, the sun will come out tomorrow, that sort of posts, and the NPSDP deal is a complete hoax. the entity is bankrupt.
And for the record again, Bankrupt also means an entity or person devoid of an attribute or quality.
Genesis or Vertical Bore doesn't have the one attribute or quality LBSR needs at this time. MONEY
And there' no way he will get it, it's a ruse, and when asked LBSR can say the deal is done, just waiting on them to get financing, it will never happen, you'll wait FOREVER, get a 25 million dollar loan to develop a mine with no prior experience? NO WAY
Ok, then what is your opinion of LBSR? I think I have made mine pretty clear
Not surprised, we both look at the same company and our opinion of it is 180 degrees out of sync, so the rest should be a given
They actually have proven verifiable products, LBSR has NOTHING but hype and using them in the same sentence or trying to make a comparison with LBSR smacks of desperation and a grab for straws, name one lb of proven resource LBSR has? and we will start the discussion from there.
Those are REAL companies with REAL products, better to compare LBSR with other pink sheet get rich quick stocks whose only product seems to be a constant slew of NR's leading investors on with a pipe dream of getting rich without a product for sale and no possibility of getting one anytime soon and I mean YEARS.
But JB's smart he dumping current shareholders getting ready to entice new ones as I started out posting, the share structure is blown out, even worst now than when I first started posting
And the other board has a LBSR paid employee posting and moderating the discussion over there, or is it JB using an alias to post on that board, I am convinced of that, no one who knows anything about mining would post such stuff unless paid by the company, curious he's the President? co-incidence or is it really JB? I wonder?
Part of "forward looking statements" and other disclaimers, when I pointed that out, longs reply was we don't care about the truth, JB said he had the goods and that's all that counts, but what goods? nothing been verified?
It's a 100 billion dollar potential mine under the dirt, so buy all you can, while you can.
There's a name for this kinda sales pitch
Thank you, that explains the sell down in share price or should I call it the sellout?
Hilarious, comical and unbelievable, posted on the LBSR paid for board today
Cash flow from production at NPSP should begin within weeks to a few months following the start of production, maybe earlier if Genesis can soon produce an offtake agreement - a type of foward sale on some part of production. I would guess they are working on this at present, but only they would know.
but only they would know? not true, everyone knows about the Genesis deal, it worth only the paper its written on, sorry not even that, since he doesn't have a business license he can't file it legally LOL
Bad news for LBSR looks like the Philippines will be busy re-developing their own mining industry
The Philippines holds the world’s second largest gold reserves, and applications from foreign mining firms are piling up to tap that plus a list of other metals that basically just sit under the ground now. Mining made up just 0.72 of the impoverished Southeast Asian country’s economy in 2012 as gold production fell back 50% to 15,762 tons that year. Access to the $1.4 trillion Philippine mining sector, rich also in copper and nickel, has been mired since the 1980s in klutzy laws, environmental battles and land rights issues. It may be on its way out of the pit this year.
Officials in Manila see mining as an untapped treasure that could help sustain recent annual economic growth of about 6% and bring in foreign investment – a national priority since 2010. It’s one of the country’s next boom sectors, forecasts Jonathan Ravelas, chief market strategist with Banco de Oro UniBank in metro Manila.
So why come all the way to AZ, when you can play in your own backyard?
Partial from a biz mag that starts with the letter F on 4/5/2015
That's what I don't understand, the cheerleading of a company that's killing shareholder value, and as posted previously, the company's use of the proceeds are not in line with best practices of the industry, in other words according to the ratio's listed, to much going to administrative and not enough going to "getting the rocks out of the ground".
Which makes me question, and I will apologize in advance if not true, but who's paying for visitors, travel, hotels and visas etc. if and when any pay a visit to LBSR.
I'll admit it's speculation, as these invoices can be easily rolled into the out of line administrative expenditures by the company and we may never know, but that's a question longs should be asking LBSR, but if true, genuine interest in the company's projects would be called into serious serious question.
Come on longs ask the question people want to know, don't you?
"Question Everything" and sooner or later the truth will come out
I totally agree, I post the reasons why I think LBSR is where it is, and the reasons I believe it will stay here unless it changes it's business practices, but to influence the price by posting here? even the greatest megalomaniac would be foolish to think they could do that.
The only furious work here is the "magic trick" of creating something out of nothing, from a LBSR press release "billions" in potential value is created without a shred of proof or progress, only promises of "we are working on it" while the market values it correctly, the peanut gallery shouts "hallelujuh"
The best way to silence your critics is to produce results. something, anything tangible, not a deal with a partner who can't afford to keep his license current, but yet he will pay LBSR millions in royalties? sorry but that deal is not credible and even a high school business student can see that. oh and btw one long says all he needs is $1800 or so to become current, but if that's true who will loan him millions? so he can pay LBSR if he doesn't have $1800, I doubt few if any would.
Everyone please use some common sense here, if you go to a bank with no business assests looking for a loan, and not just any loan, but a multi-million $$$ one would you get it?
More than likely after they stop laughing at you, they will have security escort you out, with extreme prejudice not to come back
But you forgot that LBSR is in constant communication with potential funders and that's all that matters, including Mr Mueller of Genesis or Vertical Bore or whichever one that has a current business license, remember he's going to pay LBSR millions in royalties once he gets financing, LOL
Where do you think this is going eventually? not only price wise, but outlook for LBSR? can company survive?
Still no comment
Respectfully, I strongly disagree. Firstly, the deal at NPSP should close within weeks, according to JB's earlier estimate. That alone will change the profile of the company from being a cash sink, to a cash cow.

So if this is the message from the "hyper in chief" can we assume that the Philippino's are not buying JB's message? since the price seems to be declining since he went to the Philippines?
Or should we just forget about the Mid-east trip? since he didn't say he was in constant communication?
