Purchased BMC Today
Had to call Ameritrade to get it done, got my fill at a 2.06xx USD price, not too bad...bout 5000 shares.
BMC - Get on the Pinkies!
I've been following this stock for several months and I can't believe they don't have a pinkie. How do you guys arrange the broker trade? I'm with Ameritrade and would like to add some..

cl001 - HBM
I'm tempted to make this my largest position. It has been lagging for quite some time now and I don't think it's getting the valuation it deserves. What is the P/E going forward now, 3.5? With zinc prices surely to go up at some point, I look for this to be back in the mid 20s and possibly 30 by the end of the summer.
Valuation-
As Joe has said, this company will get very interested once financials are out and the investing community becomes aware of it.
If gold juniors usually trade at a P/E of 30 and DGRI can do .10-.15 in fiscal EPS, that's a price range of $3-4.50 in PPS. (fair value)
I seem to remember hearing that DGRI is profitable at $600/gold or higher...so anything above that is pure gravy.
Are the warrants most compelling?
Do you have details?
Crowflight PP, Warrants?
Does anyone know about the private placement/warrants situation on Crowflight? I was reading something about it on Stockhouse and was wondering if it would be compelling to be involved in them.
Thanks, Joe...
I took place in the private placement for this company and I hope to hear good things from them in the coming months, years. My friends live nearby, so it'll be an interesting story to watch unfold.
ORV.to - Wow...
As luck would have it, this one showed up on one of my screens today. How bad is Bolivia? This thing is trading at a significant discount...
Wade RE: OPBL
I really don't see any downside on this stock. It is still ranked #1 on my screen for growth stocks and I truly believe it will be $10 before the end of the year. The easy money has been made, researcher is right on that one..but much more upside. Look at ICE today...and NMX is strong, you know that this is gonna have a good 2007 and probably an even better 2008.
Norex (NRX) Exploration
Has anyone ever heard of this company? It came up on my screener and i'm checking into it. Revenue growth looks good but I don't know much about it...
I've learned never to doubt growth stocks. I've seen it too many times. I don't think everything is baked into the cake with OPBL. Look at ICE and NMX and check out their valuations. OPBL is just now starting to get some real traction and even if you apply conservative PE's of 20/30, you still get a stock that should be trading higher for what it is now.
NMX and ICE already reported sharp increases in January, there is no reason to think OPBL won't do the same. I have been DD-ing this stock for awhile now and think the best is still yet to come..
OPBL - Dissenting Opinion...
I'm going to disagree with you guys about not holding OPBL into earnings. This stock is *not* priced for perfection and has a long way to go before it is properly valued. There is little downside at this point. They just started trading more options and January's volume will reflect that.
This is a growth stock and it will be treated as such, with a NASDAQ listing on the horizon and the growing of this company, you will see $10+ at some point in 2007.
OPBL - Growth
I sent Rudy a message yesterday asking about the ability to get into other derivatives, and I really think this could be key for OPBL to expand growth. Even though this stock has has an incredible run thus far, I think there is more in the tank when they report January's volume and results for the past quarter. Late December is when they added the crude, heating oil, gasoline contracts...
Also, remember that they are expanding their offices, employees, etc.. bodes well for the next 12-24 months. I'm going to be onboard here for awhile until I hear something about the story changing.
OTCBB Stock Screener
Does anyone know of a good stock screener for OTCBB, Pink Sheets, etc.. that will search based on volume increases, revenues, etc..?

Anyone here getting in on the private placement?
Tamerlane TAM.v News
Pine Point plans spelled out by new owners
Last Updated: Wednesday, January 17, 2007 | 12:57 PM CT
CBC News
http://www.cbc.ca/canada/north/story/2007/01/17/pine-point.html
Tamerlane Ventures received a warm reception Tuesday when it laid out plans to revive the defunct Pine Point lead-zinc mine during a meeting in Hay River.
Tamerlane, headed by former Giant Mine boss Margaret Kent, wants to conduct a pilot project at the site this summer, sinking a shaft and digging up a million tonnes of ore.
The Washington-based company purchased the old N.W.T. mine on the south shore of Great Slave Lake, between Hay River and Fort Resolution, in 2006.
Hay River businessman Rocky Simpson said he supports the test mine proposed by the company.
"I think it's time we had something positive, and this is a project that could be real and could be important for Hay River, and the reserve and Fort Resolution," he said. "Things here have been slow, waiting on the pipeline, on the bridge."
The company hopes to begin its pilot project at Pine Point this summer, employing up to 70 people.

If the mine is reopened, it would create an estimated 150 jobs.
The company believes strong world demand for lead and zinc should keep prices high.
IMOS Valuation:
Does anyone still own this stock? I just recently read some articles that say how margins are up, 07/08 guidance is very good and capex for 07 should be reduced by 30-40%.
http://www.digitimes.com/bits_chips/a20061214PD210.html
That is the article on capex. There is also an article in Forbes I believe (see below) from a Marketocracy member talking about how one tech firm got bought out for 5.5 x EV/EBITDA, while IMOS is at 2x.
Anyone have any reasonable explanation why the share price is so low? I've heard people on the IMOS Yahoo board talking about convertible bond debt holders shorting stock and capex being high, etc.. etc... but would this really keep the stock price so deflated? The last article bumped the stock price by about 10% but if 2007 holds true for the increases in chip manufacturing, this should be a good one to own.

Bobwins: UPC.v
Do you know anything about this one? I read a blurb about some fund that has this along with TRGD.pk in its super 12 list? Jordanfunden or something like that..not sure exactly what that is but it's in there..
Bobwins: Tamerlane TAM.v
Have you checked them out? I follow CalifDreaming a lot on the stockhouse boards and noticed he was posting about it. Seems like they are sitting on a huge lead/zinc mine and a very small market cap right now. Feasibility due out in early 07.
HET: Harrah's
FYI looks like buyout offer at $90 if this hasn't been posted.
Lead Producers...
Anyone have any lead producers close/at/near production? Lead seems to be just as interesting as zinc here and flying under the radar of a lot of people. Just can't find any real good lead plays..
BOB re: TRGD...
Very interested in this, just noticed they acquired some property in New Mexico (lead/zinc/silver). What's the story on them, fully diluted shares, prospects, etc..?
Bob RE: ROCA
Yep, I have been in communication with Doug over the past few weeks and it looks like they are still on schedule. He says there's a possibility of production in 2007 being at 3.5 million pounds, but that they want to keep some surprises on the table.
Also, mentioned a guy back east has a position of over 500,000 shares of this, biggest position he has ever owned...and an article from Money Sense from another top-4 smallcap investor in Canada who thinks Roca is extremely undervalued.
I'm still looking for $2-3 out of this one in early 2007, maybe $4-5 by the end of next year.
BWLRF - Most Compelling Zinc Play?
How do you all feel about Breakwater? Is this the most compelling zinc value play right now? I also own Hudbay Minerals, just checking..have never owned this.
Bobwins: Metals Speculation
Bob,
What's your feeling on the state of metals prices lately? I took a pretty big hit today, but remain focused on the big picture. This whole event seems a bit different than the May 11-12 post metals crash.
I am not liking oil in the short-term, but I can't see why nickel/zinc/copper would be adversely affected until a big buildup in supplies..

Housing / S&P Correlation
A week ago I posted this article:
http://www.atimes.com/atimes/Global_Economy/HH24Dj01.html
Does anyone know if we can get the data from the 80s on the housing / S&P correlation?
Lentinman:
Yes, it struck me as very shocking when I saw it too. It would certainly support loading up on those market puts over the next year. I remember you mentioning that you are already short the market, yes?

Bob, RE: DYN.v
I've been researching this a little more today, do you find this investment more compelling than say LBE, ROK? I like their prospects but don't see as much upside potential..
S&P / Housing Correlation
This is a good article posted today by one of the guys in my trading group, worth a look.

Luckily, I added to my ROK.v position yesterday and made it my 2nd largest...behind ML.to Sold some of my HBM
re: EZM,
One of the guys in my stock group said they already had enough support to get the deal done, I'll ask him when he gets online.
Bobwins, favorite nickel play.
Bob, what's your favorite nickel play? I own RNO and LBE.v right now (more LBE than RNO).
With nickel up another 6% today, seems like this is going to be the place to be for the short and possibly long-term, depending on how much of a shortage problem there is.
cl, RE: EZM
I think this deal is pretty much set in stone, they already have majority of shareholder approval.
ROK.v strong today...

IMOS .35 vs. .25 expected?
Am I reading this right, beat by 30% and raising guidance?
