I am not concerned with shorts. This company has only scratched the surface of a multi-billion dollar market. I am not in this for .25 cents pps and neither is Crede. I am in this investment realizing the rise in revenues are likely to become geometric, (we just saw that in the last quarter's revenues) that is looking like a seemingly hockey stick graph. These shares will be over $1.00 fairly soon, maybe in about a year to 18 months. The down side is what we are currently having as the most recent investors might not understand the technology, or its many applications or the potential size of the market and most of all that APDN this small company owns it space!! Less

You guys are truly missing the way this works RE Crede
.
Like I said in one of my recent posts regarding how the Crede transactions worked - Look at the chart relative to when the first Crede financing was announced - Nov 29, 2012 - the price didn't go down like it did this time around. The terms were virtually identical. Why didn't the share price drop? The reason is quite simple. Crede did not own shares at that point. This time around they did own shares - a lot of shares. They could use those shares to sell into the market once the deal is done and they know they will be able to convert the preferred shares into more common. The shares price drops as a result - THEN they convert - at .13 this time - very cheap compared to the last time. They now have seriously lowered their average purchase price.
If you think that they didn't use their initial shares this way you are being naive. If YOU owned preferred stock that could be converted into common at the prevailing market price you would want the price of the common shares to move down prior to conversion. If you already owned enough common shares to move the market you would make use of those shares to do so - wouldn't you? I know I would. It only makes sense. That's how these deals work. It's one of the golden rules - he who has the gold makes the rules. Besides, keep in mind that Crede is forbidden from owning more than 9.9% of outstanding shares - that's approximately 72 million shares. It basically forces them to sell shares prior to conversion - they would end up owning too many shares otherwise.
It's OK though - the share price WILL go up from here because Crede has no incentive to sell anymore unless there is yet another round of financing - and there won't be any time soon. so if you were smart enough to buy down here I would sell some in the .23-.24 range - that's a nice return - and you can keep some free shares.
I'm not worried - I just keep buying - the revenue will start to rise nicely into the back end of the year - the ball is rolling. Less

Here's how it works!
.
You really won’t see any great stock price increases until APDN no longer needs
Crede. You see it works like this. Crede buys 5.5M shares of convertible preferred APDN stock, (preferred stock is the most secure type of stock because if APDN
should fail while they’re still holding preferred certificates – they have to be repaid face value before other creditors are repaid). So, immediately, as soon as
the deal is OK’d, they start to unload these preferred shares by converting them to
common shares and selling them at their own speed on the open market. Voila!
The market gets depressed, they get their investment returned at a profit, and we
can buy stocks at a low price! When they are finished selling these 42,000,000
shares the market returns to normal. In other words, we, the stockholders, are indirectly subsidizing the growth of APDN (which is OK). Eventually, APDN
will no longer need Crede – they are making money, and the stock goes up in
price! By then APDN is a much stronger company. Less
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Hopefully, This Explains The Drop To .13..
Now We Rise........
Amen !

Picked This Up From The Yahoo Board........2 !
Small Cap 101
.
Most businesses don’t sprout overnight and become successful , they have to have time to grow. The number one reason small cap businesses fail is because they don’t have,
nor can find, enough capital to keep them in business during the early times of securing enough customers (revenues) to offset their very high initial expenditures. This is where APDN is now - but they are growing fast! Eventually, because they have such a good
business model and an extremely good venture capital company behind them , they will
succeed. We as investors just have to stand by and wait for profits and higher stock prices
which will surely come. Less
Sentiment: Strong Buy
