S&P emini futures now trading Down and below VWAP.
. . .in the red part of the spectrum.
Greed (and or foolishness, ignorance, etc.) may be indicated when one continues to buy and/or hold when a stock is technically overbought, blindly subscribes to buy and hold, doesn't use protection, e.g.,options, doesn't prudently evaluate competition and economic issues, ignores fundamentals, worships a stock or product, doesn't diversify, etc.
Some deeply enjoy greed, if only temporarily. Greed often gives way to fear and grief.
But, AAPL will go down someday again, either in a general market decline or for specific reasons related to the company, competition, demand, etc.
What might take it down? And how fast and far will it fall?
Not many want to consider that. Greed rules and that historically has been a bad sign. Remember dot.com?
AAPL declined over 59% between May 08 and Jan 09 from 192.24 to 78.20.
A 60% cut today takes it down to about 103. And there's no rule regarding how fast it might fall.
Would more people sell at that level than buy? If so, it would trend even lower.
Selling now or soon will help you sleep better. Maybe.
Also, see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prospect_theory
Flat, AAPL.
S&P emini futures closed positive (0.21%) at the halt, but declined in the closing hour+ from its session high. Lets see how it does in the session that begins later today.
But if France's debt is downgraded. . .that will change things to the negative.

When will it end?
(Answer: It's just starting.)
FAS and $SPX Daily charts continue Up.
S&P Futures are rising a little into the halt. If they continue to rise when they resume trading Monday PM, I expect FAS intraday to be Up Tuesday AM.
Yet, it's worthwhile to remember many things will happen between now and then. . .
1) What are three facts that will tell you it's time to sell AAPL?
2) What do you need to see, think, believe to conclude it's headed lower?
Anyone interested in addressing these questions?
Right now the greed is pretty intense for AAPL holders. . .and that's a BAD sign.
FAS continues Down into the holiday weekend.
Be safe have fun!

FAS continues Down since late yesterday.
What are three facts that will tell you it's time to sell AAPL?
What do you need to see, think, believe to conclude it's headed lower?
FAS: Intraday Down, in after-hours trading.
I don't believe the stated position on the Euro debt/bonds position by the Chinese resolves the problem. I even doubt they have presented their actual understanding and strategy for the situation.
I'm a skeptic.
FAS was Up at the opening today. I didn't post till later as I was at the vet with a pet with blood pressure issues.

Both $SPX and FAS Daily charts are Up.
Let's see if this apparent change in trend is sustained in the days ahead.
In conjunction with the iPhone's appeal to many other types of users, too, that's very impressive data!
. . .similar for FAS.
If $SPX (Daily chart) holds the present level it will be an Up signal for my Daily Trend Trading Model.
FAS: You know it's Up when you turn on your digital life and you check the direction.
It's as easy as that.
No promise regarding how long it lasts. . .
S&P et al futures are rising. If this continues I suspect FAS will be Up in the premarket.
FAS: Down, again, 1430 (NYT).
Potential big tax consequences when you sell. . .talk with an independent financial planner / tax accountant to see what they recommend.
What are the events that might take AAPL Down? And when/under what conditions will they occur?
. . .because we know it WILL happen some time in the days / months / years ahead.
FAS: Up, about 1335 (NYT).
How much are you willing to give back?
Under what conditions, price, etc. will you sell?
Android phone gains on iPhone:

Android growth and appeal: This will accelerate in the months ahead.
AAPL must expand carries, now. And in addition they are faced with doing more frequent and innovative updates to the iPhone OS to compete with Android.
If AAPL doesn't cut a deal with Verizon next month I expect AAPL stock to take a hit.
FAS: Intraday Down, about 1135 (NYT).
This trend trading model is constricting, so whip potential rises in those conditions.

FAS: Up it goes.
FAS nearing a turn Up.
The last thing I check before I go to sleep and the first thing I check in the morning are the futures.
Why live in the Now?

Looks rather good at this point. Let's see how it's reviewed by the gurus.
FAS: Down intraday, just after 1330 (NYT).
SPY also Down.
HP Taiwan confirms plans for WebOS-based mobile devices:
http://www.digitimes.com/news/a20100521PD200.html
Competition for iPad . . .however, a big downside for HP device is the robust AAPL App Store.
FAS and SPY both continue Up intraday. Will they go flat or even decline?
My $SPX and FAS Daily trading model charts are some distance from providing an Up signal. Hence the current direction is Down.
FAS intraday continues Up. I'm flat FAS and FAZ.
May Monday be an interesting session.
