Hey Duke, this might help. A multiple of 20 is quite common for tech companies. I think Amazons price to earnings ratio is upwards of 600.

Korean news agency ETNews is reporting that Samsung and LG are looking to start mass producing Quantum Dot displays. Quantum Dots promise a wider color gamut (by up to 50%) than rival OLED displays, combined with increased brightness and lower power consumption. Quantum Dot displays are like a hybrid between LCD and OLED displays. They don't use regular LEDs for backlighting, but instead uses blue LEDs which excite two kinds of quantum dots that produce red and green light respectively. Each pixel gets its own LED like in OLED, leading to the improved power efficiency. This tech has been used for a while in Sony's Triluminos displays and LG has been collaborating with QD Vision, the MIT offshoot behind the quantum dot technology, since 2010 while Samsung has been dabbling with quantum dots since 2011.

Thanks for the info Hawk.. I enjoyed reading the statement "Over 30 companies are working on quantum dot displays" QMC has the mass production capabilities to bring these displays to market. So many other avenues to revenue it's mind boggling thinking of the potential share price..
Steve and company have done a masterful job utilizing university resources vs acquiring / equipping a large facility and hiring employees before they were necessary. Competitor Nanoco is experiencing massive cash burn. QMC timing for mass production will meet the market demand which appears to be now.
Looking good Art. Nice to see the corporate image getting a polish before true awareness hits the masses. Hope to see the website get an update then ready for launch..everything is falling into place... GLTA
Another nice day. Congratulations to all the long term shareholders. A note to all new board posters, do your DD this one is a keeper. The potential revenues and vertical industries quantum dots will be used in is staggering...nanotechnology is the next revolution in technology and quantum dots are the core material that will be used.
Nicely stated as always. Thanks Hawk.
$500 a gram would be unheard of particularly since tetrapods are of such high yield and uniformity.. even at $500 a gram I'll take 1KG per day = $500,000 LOL.. Awesome news today!!!
Mass production is the key to moving this technology forward and into the marketplace. Proven mass production flow process reactor arriving onsite at San Marcos any day now coupled with superior qdot technology combine for a winner. Just a reminder that IMO displays will be the least lucrative market for QMC, SSL, bio-medical, solar energy among others give this stock massive potential.
GLTA
Bodes well for us as Nanosys is paving the way with amazing products. Begs the question..what are the other display manufacturers thinking as this tech becomes more and more viable. Hopefully Steve and company are weighing their options and holding for a profitable contract.. good to see qdots as a main topic at SID!!! All positive IMO
Buckle up you chin strap ladies and gents..you only hire if there is a need!
The Future of Solar Energy is TINY Technology!
Interesting video on the future of solar and nano technology.
I would like to remind all the posters who are losing patience.. We are on the cusp of a game changing technology, like the silicon chip was revolutionary nanotechnology will change the world as we know it in so many ways. The doubters will scoff as we have yet to realize revenues but I truly believe this is an investment of a lifetime.
What has Dr. Michael Wong been up to?
Excerpt-
“So it’s important to know the content of what you’re pumping out of the ground, and the earlier the better,” Tour said.
Led by Rice professors Tour, Michael Wong and Mason Tomson and researcher Amy Kan, the university has pioneered efforts to gather information from oil fields through the use of nanoreporters. The nanoreporters were designed to detect and report on the presence and amount of oil in a well that might otherwise be hard to assess.
Now the same team, joined by chemist Angel Martí, is employing thermally stable, soluble, highly mobile, carbon black-based nanoreporters modified to look for hydrogen sulfide and report results immediately upon their return to the surface.
When exposed to hydrogen sulfide, the nanoparticles’ fluorescent properties immediately change. When pumped out of a production well, the particles can be analyzed with a spectrometer to determine the level of contamination.

Old technology enables new approaches to sustainability
Chemical and materials engineering researcher using household printer to manufacturing renewable energy materials
Ghassan Jabbour came to Nevada because it offered a unique set of resources: water, wind, sun, geothermal energy and gas.
Jabbour is hoping to combine that natural advantage with a novel use of a familiar office standby: the inkjet printer. Using advanced manufacturing techniques, Jabbour is developing ways to print renewable energy technologies.Ghassan Jabbour

Completely understand Hawk...As aways I appreciate how thorough you are when posting.. Cheers..
Thanks so much for your post Hawk. One of my greatest hopes is the technology companies like Nanoaxis and QMC are working on will help people who are suffering. My daughter is a type 1 diabetic who struggles everyday. Your post really brightened my day. Cheers.
Looks to me like Sony is still using the Triluminous tech in their new 2014 lineup

We can argue over the little things (and we probably will..) until Steve delivers. Let's face it, most of us have been treading water for 3 plus years now..Come on Steve tired of waiting...
The Dow deal and funding has helped Nanoco considerably. Steve needs to announce a substantial JV or sale to advance us past this SP it's as simple as that. Hopefully the reactor delivery is the key to everything, it must be close by now. On the negative side its taken a lot longer than we expected, on the positive qdot market applications are expanding almost daily and QMC is just hitting it's stride.
He shows up with a chessboard and me in my hockey jersey...game on
What's your point..? They are 5 years behind us in the better mousetrap design. Care to make a side wager? I'll take any any company out there you can find vs QMC.
Wow I get your user name.. makes sense.. try reading some more and get up to date with your info
Lol this coming from the guy that analyzes everything to death.. don't trivialize the importance of this announcement. There are many potential clients for these nanocrystals perhaps more than QD - for innovative batteries and energy storage, catalytic devices, inks, quantum computing and roll-to-roll printed electronics. Some of these are markets where our production capability might have cost benefits over graphene and CNT for similar use.
Like you said 8 initial samples from the "old" 10K. They are not PRing every sample sent out the door. This is not business as usual as nobody knew we were shipping metal oxide nano particles.
Trying to understand your reasoning here. We have 25 NDA'S signed so that indicates companies have been evaluating our tetra pods. This is a new material which is a whole different avenue and that is why it deserves a separate PR..
The fact that we have expanded to other material markets is huge Imo. Multiple streams of revenue will only add to our profit margins . Love it.
Don't see the word sample anywhere so no i'll stick with initial shipment.
Shipment /Submit
noun
1.
the action of shipping goods.
Awesome news! Another revenue stream!
Nice find.. maybe some doubters here will actually accept the concept of manipulation and that it does exist!

A March 25 story about Nanoco Group Plc expecting the first TVs using its quantum dots technology to be released by mid-year is wrong.
The company maintains it did not give a timeline for the launch of TVs using its quantum dots technology on an analyst call and the analyst quoted in the story withdrew his comment.
The following story has been withdrawn: STORY_NUMBER: L4N0MM1UA STORY_DATE: 25/03/2014 STORY_TIME: 1437 GMT
There will be no substitute story.http://mobile.reuters.com/article/idUSL4N0MM1UA20140326?irpc=932
Blatant pump by analyst for a company that is appears to be struggling. How is this not illegal ?
A newsworthy PR leading into the conference would be most welcome. Fingers crossed.
Still trying to understand where you think crunch mislead anyone??? I haven't seen any product announcements from competitors other than displays, that appears to be their primary focus. QMC had stated that they are pursuing all avenues.
lol...isn't that your modus operandi?
It becomes more apparent with every one of your posts, you are here to try and cast more doubt on QMC when there is less everyday. Must be really bothering you that $.04 SP hasn't come back around so you can play it for the fourth time.
Thought I would post the link Crunch. Thanks

This may be the issue causing problems with trading houses. The revocation has been filed under HAGUE Corp.(the company's original name) see the link below
http://www.bcsc.bc.ca/comdoc.nsf/allbyunid/f26d1d6d4642007b88257c9e00805cc3?opendocument
What spin? And what has anyone hidden? I can't state that I'm happy for bc investors? Too bad you missed out with your quick flip strategy .. showing your true colors?
You really think the timing of the revocation and issue with Scott trade are just coincidence? Some of the trading houses are unclear on the BCSC release and that is whats causing the confusion. If anyone has problems just point them to the government website. My take is the company is resolving any issues that may have occured due to a lack of funds before we release a PR of significant importance. To throw out a statement that we are delisted and possible "screwed" is just irresponsible..
