Not selling anything, expectations are high for substantial news later. So you don't believe the rally last-week was based on today's conference event? Again, all the posts and Leo's comments "the past few weeks" has assured us a home-run today.
Big build-up to today's conference... The rally leading up to today is projecting great news, so any disappointment and this stock tanks. The old, buy the rumor, sell the news... So far, today's PPS action shows no excitement.
Shire to Buy NPS Pharma for $5.2 Billion...
A 5 billion deal for a company (NPS) that has 300 million in sales.
A 5 billion cap for CTIX would place the PPS at 42... Geez, the potential here is amazing with one successful drug.

Arena Pharma up 63 percent on positive Phase 1B results. Market cap pushes past 1 billion... Wonder if this is helping fuel CTIX's advance?

I found the video of Dr Jorgensen's presentation... Not sure if this was posted earlier?
Leo's Monday PR did wonders!!! Down 10 percent with now another deadline set for the next PR.
Express Scripts corrected the biotech market this week. Setting price controls and signing exclusive deals. Most stocks are down 10 percent this week with Gilead (GILD) down over 30... Biotech market is not even safe for the big players.

Interesting posts this evening defending Leo's PR machine.
What did we learn from today's PR that warranted a PR? Really nothing, unless one wants to dissect each and every word from the PR? Show us the facts and the PPS will either rise or fall. Today's PR was all fluff that didn't warrant a PR. Oh, but some here expected a PR today, so Leo had to deliver!!! The government is in holiday mode, time is running out on the momentous December... LOL
Ahead to a momentous January 2015!!!
Not me, I've been critical about issuing PR's "with repeated info" for the past 18 months. We're at a point now that hard facts are more important than company progress. Corporate updates are for CEO's trying to sell shares. If CTIX has no news for a period of time, there's no reason to post it on IHUB. Although, it does appear Leo reads this board and reacts...
Karin, the go ahead for P was a study, the question with the latest PPs run-up, is how much longer? will it take for either P,B or K to deliver sales??? It's nice to cheer and say how great everything is, but it's not that simple in the biotech world. Delays and disappointments are expected, so maybe the PPS got a little ahead of itself? If we all knew P,K and B will/would pass all their trials the PPs would be at 200...
BioHedge, 100 agree!!! Also, the CEO should separate himself from chat boards and investor emails. The PPS will move accordingly "with hard facts" without the need to promote.
Looks like a test to the 3's again. Sorry folks, but Leo let us down with today's PR... Too much buildup from November's update for December. Like others have posted, should be a good buying opportunity ahead of "real news" in 2015.
Exactly why today's PR was not needed. 12/22/14 had no meaning other than to please some Ihubers who expected a PR... We thought we were past progress-reports.
Sometimes no news is better than catering to the IHUB requests for a Monday PR. Need concrete data, not more updates on how things are progressing.
Post of the day. TheDane!!! Good call...
My prediction of $4.28 close might not happen, which means I'll be - gulp - wrong again! Anything over $4 will be nice. Seems like only 60k has traded in the last hour or so. Slow.
CTIX was rallying the whole time energy-related stocks crashed. So, it would make sense for traders to shift funds around, which may explain the CTIX hard-decline? Just my opinion, but the quick buck is what drives OTCBB stocks positive/negative...
It's healthy alright... Tell that to all those who bought above 4.20. LOL Mortgage your house when it drops some more when the PPS is even more healthier. Example of why Leo needs to up-list if he can? The OTCBB market is a fools game.
Who is blaming Leo? This stock moves on press releases.
Those same MM's rallied the stock to 4.90. Can't blame those guys, buyers can easily dictate the PPS.
Wow, almost back to the 3's... All the pumping last-week to 10, billion dollar market caps and so on... Now we're back to Leo saving the PPS chat with press releases...
Quiet period? 5 trading days? Believe me, if there's news Leo will have a PR at 7:30 AM.
Easy come, easy go.... Need results from B...
I'm amazed how anyone can do technical charting on an OTCBB stock with no earnings? This stock is all based on hype/hope until they pass their tests and eventually have sales.
Wow, the traders are exiting in waves... All the newbie posters pumping all week will be history.
Really? Have you checked out those requirements yet? I'll bet you one share of CTIX that they don't qualify!!!
NASDAQ National Market (NASDAQ) The NASDAQ National Market imposes minimum bid price, quantitative and other criteria in determining whether a company will be permitted to list its stock on the NASDAQ. Initial Minimum Bid Price for Stock. The stock must have a minimum initial bid price of $5.00, and must later remain at or above $1.00. This requirement serves as a safeguard against certain market activities associated with low-priced securities, and protects the credibility of the NASDAQ market. Quantitative Requirements. To be listed on the NASDAQ National Market, a company must have net tangible assets of $6 million and net income in the latest fiscal year or two of the past three fiscal years of $1 million. In addition, these companies must have a public float of $1.1 million, a market value of the public float of $8 million, a minimum of 400 shareholders, and at least three market makers. Capitalization Alternative. Companies that do not meet the quantitative requirements may nevertheless be listed on NASDAQ if they have a market capitalization of $75 million or total assets of $75 million and total revenues of $75 million, an initial minimum bid price of $5.00, and meet certain other requirements. Peer Review Requirement. The practices of all independent auditors for companies listed on the NASDAQ are subject to monitoring under a peer review system. Also, the quality control systems of accounting firms of NASDAQ-listed companies are reviewed by peers every three years. NASDAQ SmallCap Market Listing Requirements Small capitalization companies can be listed on the NASDAQ SmallCap Market if they have: (1) net tangible assets of $4 million, or (2) $50 million market capitalization, or (3) net income in the latest fiscal year or two of the past three fiscal years of $750,000. In addition, these companies must have a public float of $1 million, a market value of the public float of $5 million, a minimum of 300 shareholders, and at least three market makers. Also, these companies must have an operating history of at least one year or $50 million market capitalization. The initial minimum bid price is $4.00 and the same ongoing minimum bid price and peer review requirements as are set forth above apply. Source: NASDAQ New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) The New York Stock Exchange imposes minimum quantitative standards relating to distribution and size criteria and financial criteria. Distribution and Size Criteria. To be traded on the NYSExchange, a company must meet certain requirements as to the number of shareholders, must have a market value of public shares of $100 million or an IPO market value of $60 million. - See more at: http://smallbusiness.findlaw.com/business-finances/markets-and-listing-requirements.html#sthash.N2x1m1mI.dpuf
CTIX doesn't qualify for the Nasdaq or NY Exchange... American Exchange is there only option... The board of directors will have to be formed and an annual SH meeting. Have CTIX ever had a SH meeting? I would take Leo's "very soon" comments as more hope than reality.

I'm not a trader, but if they made they're profit and sold out then that's the free-market. All the shares bought yesterday are in the red, so possibly some of them are down?
That's why, I don't get overly excited with a rally unless I sell out.
Well that was a nice ride, the traders are exiting in waves... Once you start reading posts about 10 billion market caps, how CTIX should be valued as much as Cubist and so on... it usually is the top of the rally. Yesterday's price reversal was the true sign...
It's all good, just a different view of why some may sell late... GLTY
So your assuming the person selling late knew the stock would drop 25 cents in an hour? Easy to say someone should have sold at 4.80... LOL
There are buys/sells all the way up to 4.80... How do you know who sold and what reasons? The person selling at 3:58 may need the money and doesn't want to risk a big decline tomorrow. Who knows...
The newbie posters will be long-gone in a week... Same game continues for the OTCBB market. Pump and dump, then go somewhere else.
Most of the buys today above the closing price. Look out tomorrow....
Ran out of gas!!!
Cramer's take on the the Merck/Cubist deal. I was waiting for him to mention CTIX!!!
http://www.cnbc.com/id/102249681
Cubist's pipeline is currently worth more.... Some posters here are assuming that all of CTIX's drugs will be approved? Merck made a decision to shell out 7 billion, so they believe Cubist is worth it. The below article better explains their value. However, CTIX does have a bright future and the Cubist buyout shows how much potential there is. Remember, the process is still on-going for these trials... I've learned a long time ago, don't celebrate until the cash is in the register.
http://www.businessweek.com/news/2014-12-06/merck-said-to-be-in-talks-to-buy-cubist-for-7-billion
Possibly, we can rule out Merck as the large big-pharma mentioned below. Let's see, Lilly, Bristol Myers, AbbVie formerly Abbot Labs, Johnson and Johnson and Pfizer remain. Leo didn't mention biotech, so I eliminated those choices. My guess is Pfizer, second choice J & J. Leo's largest comment is the key....
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_pharmaceutical_companies
Looking to Brilacidin, the lead drug candidate in the Company's definsin-mimetic platform, Cellceutix has signed an agreement with a division of one of the largest U.S. pharmaceutical companies for testing Brilacidin as a component of certain implanted devices as a means to prevent infection.
Puma Biotech down big after-hours for a drug application delay...
Hopefully, Puma's delay will attract more money into CTIX? First link is Puma's news... Second link, article for both CTIX/PBYI. Bad timing for those who may have bought Puma after reading this. The risk/reward of the biotech market.
