What's changed? For one, management and control of this company has changed. That's not an insignificant event. As far as gagging is concerned, who do you think the gagging is designed to protect? The powers that be in this company or us? If you have a definitive answer to that question please let me know.
I'm glad that people are starting to wake up around here. A couple of months of silence is OK, but this has been going on for WAAAAAY too long. If my investment is going down for the count here, I plan on going down fighting!!! Whether it happens slowly or Swiftly, it has become apparent to me that this gang's intention is to rob us blind. Time to stand up.
Go for it 1000PERC! Please pave the way for us! I passed through Edison, NJ last August on vacation (from Texas), not only were the new offices still unoccupied, but visiting them at the time was really the last thing on my mind. It's past time for some serious pressure from the shareholders. I have plans to return to the area in the near future. Good luck!
They have had ample time to come up with SOMETHING to appease the shareholders of this company. Playing the "blame game" is a nice way to deflect attention from themselves. I personally don't believe that it's all about Pandey.
I am very much leaning toward the opinion that the silence and status quo shall remain here until someone gets off their butt and sues for access to the company's documents and records. Since common shareholders apparently have no idea at this point what percentage ownership the major players now have in this stock, a shareholder list would be a nice first step. I just hope that I am not the only shareholder who is at least beginning this process.
Hopefully that's not enemy radar. I've already been winged and don't think I can take another hit.
Texas Rambler, since when do you have to be a member to read this board?
I'm soon having lunch with an old accounting buddy who is now doing very well with the SEC. I plan on getting his opinion on the situation. He's a good trustworthy guy, and I think it's time to renew our friendship.
I wish that I could call these shares "outstanding". Only stock I've ever owned where the shares were literally worth less than the paper they're printed on. Sad, but very true.
Well, at least we are heading in the right direction for the moment. I'm just waiting for the day when everyone on this board is screaming NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWS!!!!!! I'm betting that will be a very nice day.
Thanks so much!!!! Never would of guessed it.
A quarter of a million! Now that's what I call faith. If I were you, I would probably be following these guys to their local watering holes. Might be worth the time and expense to belly up to the bar next to one and "make a friend". LOL!
It seems as if they already have effective control of the company. Looks like they're likely to eventually have actual majority control once all of their warrants are executed.
They won't tell us a thing, yet they continue to collect paychecks at our expense. I guess everyone has to come up with their own plan if this continues. I'm working on mine right now.
I also don't see how a million dollar or so Pandey lawsuit would be a particularly paralyzing issue for the company at this point. Certainly something to keep an eye on, but in what way do you think that this "fairly typical" lawsuit from an exiled CEO could have a major effect on the company? Personally, I'm more concerned about Xechem's relationship with the Nigerian government in the post-Pandey era. I'm very much interested in finding out how the Swifty gang is getting along with the powers that be in Nigeria.
I don't think they'll hold off for a few more weeks as far as the 2nd Q filing is concerned. The third quarter is over next week, and I'm HOPING that they'll finally get the 2nd Q together by mid-October. Of course I have no clue with this company, so everything is a guess at this point.
I hope you're right, but I would think that we would be having some decent volume days on occasion for them to accumulate. They would have to be a pretty greedy and patient bunch to want to do their accumulating at under a tenth of a nickel.
If you really did sell today, then you must of accounted for almost all of today's volume. Doesn't seem to be any interest either way in this stock. Limboland for now.
I feel more like I'm on the "Dark Side of the Moon" right now. I want to feel more like "Money".
Well if it can't get much lower than BUY, BUY, BUY!! You're probably right about that one!
Hope those high volume up days (50 mill+) come soon. GL.
Trying to get in lower huh? Doubt it'll work for you today.
No it can be traded, but even with average volume here, I think there are better flippers than this. Too hard to get in and out of unless you're damn lucky.
With this anemic volume, it's hard to trade this one for more than beer money.
Quiet Friday. Hope we haven't settled into quiet limbo for the Fall season. Would of been nice if they could have at least mentioned the delisting in the 8k, and included some kind of an explanation of why they let it happen. The deafening silence continues.
At least we found a pulse!eom
I agree that productivity is a good thing. I have a degree in Production and Operations Management and worked in the field for a few years before going into accounting. I was just saying that at this point, I would really have liked him to have stressed "production" increases in the PR, because to me that would of meant that he was working his butt off to get the plant on line. Like I said, probably just a play on words. Have a good night.
Enough venting for me today. Time for some tequila. Here's to a better day tomorrow. Gulp!
Sure hope you're correct. It would be pretty sinister to go for bankruptcy protection so soon after receiving those loans.
About the same as me making.eom
I not crazy about his using the words "increase productivity" in his statement, as that generally means producing things more efficiently rather than producing more product. A play on words sure, and productivity is a nice thing, but I would rather see him say that they are working to "increase production" at the plant.
I like your optimism, but as I said my patience is wearing thin. I do still hold out hope that management has a reasonable explanation for their behavior, and the lack of HEAVY volume makes me think that this may be possible. I would be lying if I said I had a clue as to what these guys are up to. It's all speculation unless you truly have an inside connection.
Buying more is still a possibility for me, but it's gonna take some serious cojones at this point. I put in several bids on the way down from .015 or so, but I luckily had a hard time getting filled. If/when it drops below .005 I'll seriously consider adding.
2,125,000 here. Down from over 4,000,000.
I'm hanging in there but losing patience. If a company doesn't make it due to an ineffective product, general market conditions, etc, etc, I have no problem accepting an investment loss. If a company doesn't make it due to defective management's loyalties only applying to enriching a select few, then I'm not going to be very happy. I feel lucky at the moment only in that I lightened up a little after Pandy was initially dumped, but I'm still in this thing pretty heavily. Adding more is a pretty tough decision at this point.
Certainly sounds believable to me. No doubt that they have some kind of a strategy to enrich themselves. Less transparency means more opportunities for greedy opportunists. They may not even feel like they need immediate majority control of the company with the upcoming warrants down the road as well as the IPO possibilities. They could just let us sit here and simmer for quite some time if no action is taken. Pretty clear that the Basu boys are calling all the shots at the moment anyway.
Hmmmm...if the mess has something to do with Pandey's behavior in relation to OBTAINING the bank loans, then I guess we are talking about some form of gross financial misrepresentation. Anyone have any guesses as to what that could be? It's not like this company had beautiful financials loaded with collateral worthy assets at the time of the loans, and the banks sure took their time in conducting their DD before approval. Restating financials shouldn't create this kind of a mess unless serious fraud was involved.
On the other hand, if the mess has something to do with Pandey's behavior AFTER receiving the loan proceeds, I don't understand the lengthy silence. If it's something clearly criminal or even bordering on criminal, then why not just come clean and simply go after Pandey? Pandey's lawsuit confuses the situation even more.
Hell, this thing may have very little to do with either Pandey or the loan proceeds, but it's kind of hard to imagine what else it could be to cause this kind of behavior from the company. If there was something EXTREMELY negative going on here, you would think we would have heavier volume due to the inevitable leaks. Anyone else have any guesses? Nicosan related problems? Nigerian government related problems? Hell, I could ramble on with conspiricy theories all night long with this group at the helm! THIS IS GETTING OLD!!
If the idea is that the sumbetch ran off with our loan money, I sure hope so! We do have an extradition treaty with India.
Let's hope that the SOB's finally decide to open their mouths after this. Not counting on it, but let's hope. Gotta run. Have a good one.
Even quieter than before? That's a hard one to believe!
Lucky that we still have a pulse and that's about it. Time to pull out the defibrillator on this one. Major shock needed!
