Yes, I am on. Unfortunately, had to sell Jul VIX calls for a loss. Cannot keep that stuff... Too dangerous!
Sounds good! But I looked again at the chart and it can drop further to 1.78.. However a reversal has to be caught early, whenever it happens…
VIX Jul 35 calls: that's where the action is today. I am trying to buy some too.
Here is what happened with SI. Since it was clear that I could not buy calls at a reasonable price but the signal looked good…I bought some real stock: Ouch!… expensive but it moved well up. However, during the last minutes of trading a “Bearish Bat” appeared on the 1 min chart. So, being a stingy chicken, I sold them all for a profit...
QQQQ again: a clarification. I am looking at those lower targets because the previous “bearish butterfly” is morphing into a bullish figure: a “bullish crab” (blue lines), as named by its discoverer, Scott M. Carney. But to get completed and become bullish, this figure needs a further drop of the Qs to his predicted 48.50 or my optimized 38.90.
I also have on this figure a 12 wks time cycle, which predicts the next trough at the beginning of August.
OK, UR… now comes the hard question: can the Qs drop in two weeks (for OpEx) somewhere between 40 and 41...or even lower?
The chart bellow says : yes they can, and even sooner… at least according to these optimized pivotal extensions, derived from the bearish Gartley Butterfly which initiated the downtrend.
HI UR! I think you got something there…I have here both Jul 40 and 41 puts, on 1 min charts.(time = MDT).
I noticed that trades of large blocks of 41puts were followed by equally large sums of trades of 40 puts, after a few minutes. If they were independent purchases this is very bullish. If someone was building a debit spread that is bullish too! Hard to decide what happened because the “historic time and sales” record which I looked at is not very clear about it. A rough analysis of the putative spreads says that for an investment of $0.20 one could make a profit a $0.80, which is not bad at all.
Yes UR, this time I trade QQQQ for OpEx…Let’s keep in touch.
So far I have hedged positions only but I am open for directional trades...
I will study tonight your approach and let you know…
Hi UR! Yes…I wanted to stay out of it …but I could not resist buying AUG Q puts… and costructing time spreads...We shall see...
Got a nice BUY signal for Siemens (SI).
I am trying (unsuccessfully) to buy some calls… The spread is huge…
Yes...I am looking at Aug 7 calls @ $0.52
The Qs seem to have a dead cat bounce…on low volume.
Do not forget: 4 class action suits against them… Bad stuff!
On the previous chart: free fall to SPX = 995-1000...but THEY can engineer some miracle any time. I am staying out of this mess...
1013 is a Gann support...
AAPL is now close to the 245 support. Sooner than I expected...
No buyers in this market. The SPX = 1020 is here...
Yes, I see…I assume that most of them are July. I would wait for an UP move, and then either try to sell some or hedge. It is up to you to choose. This is all only IMHO…Good luck!
Not so fast...What have you got?
OK UR, let’s look at my weekly too. We agree on 875. Maybe lower: 750. I think we can say goodbye to the 1040 level and the MAW, which was such a reliable support for a while. But before getting there we have 1000 or your 993, which are very close.
On this chart one should notice the perfect bowtie knot of the three MA-s which were so significant for previous moves. It appears that the present drop, which might leave all of them behind, is significant. That means that it won’t be a simple “correction” like July or January and you are right to look well below the present level…
If we consider the 1044.50 of 02/05/10 as a first test of this area, then today is number 4. Remember Gann’s rule of 4? OK…if it drops through 1040…we have a target at 1020 on this chart, which I showed many times. This 1020 level happens to be also the target of Peter Eliades for this move…1020 is not too far down!
I checked it out in real life! Really cool!
That's possible. I had it and already sold it! LOL!
AONE rolled over today...By the way, nice chart!
Does anybody follow today’s IPO: Tesla Motors (TSLA)…powered by AONE batteries?
TSLA DOING GREAT!!
Thanks 3X!
Gold kicking donkey!
NG Jul 7.5 calls @ 0.25
There are some interesting rumors concerning the Alaska concessions of NG.
Not today, but it looks like some "people" are buying the dips.
Hedgies buy gold now…LOL!~
Yes... looks bearish.
