They should just come out with one PR and say WHO placed the orders, HOW MUCH, keep it short and to the point. Not that difficult.. Why all this fluff?
Yeah. Looks that way. News no longer able to move up this stock.
News of initial order from Arnold Sports Festival and SP goes down. This is good news, right? Why down? Comments?
Imo, in the minds of PURA management, fluff PRs were needed to keep the SP afloat, investors/consumers engaged, in an environment where the FDA threw a monkey wrench into the CBD edibles legality issue, a roadblock that nobody expected/prepared for, after the Farm Bill was passed. It supposed to be blue sky/clear sailing after the Farm Bill, but it turned out not to be the case.
Did some DD on google. Looks like CBD is indeed legal in South Africa.
If CBD is illegal there, then I guess only talk, banners, posters, videos, flyers, business cards, T-shirts, etc. No actual "open" bottles of EVERx for sale, no free samples.
Take a look at this link:
https://www.jantana.com/blog/body-painting-revolution/
Last year, Tana’s Body Painting Revolution was held at the Sandton Convention Center in Johannesburg. So, if it's at the same place this year and the EVERx booth is right next to them...well you get the picture.
The big questions imo are:
1. How much foot traffic is expected at the EVERX booth (yes, they have a booth according to the PR), which is by Jan Tana's Body Painting Revolution Stage, in Johannesburg?
2. As a sponsor of JTBPR, what are people going see at/by the EVERx booth? A banner? Flyers? Business cards? EVERx bottles for sale? Bodybuilders? Models? Free samples of EVERx? What? It's not clear. We need pictures.
The thing that's misleading was the title of the PR: "PURA Kicks-Off Arnold Sports Festival Johannesburg Introducing EVERx CBD Sports Water in Africa". It made no mention of Jan Tana's Body Painting Revolution until one dives deep into the text of the PR. Btw, don't feel bad. You're not the only one who thought EVERx was a sponsor of the Arnold Sports Festival.
It appears that EVERx is a sponsor of Arnold Sports Festival in Johannesburg, because they are a sponsor of Jan Tana's Bodypainting Revolution Stage in Johannesburg. So, by having Jan Tana's Bodypainting Revolution return to the ASF this year in Johannesburg, the association is made. Need to read and reread these PRs carefully I guess.
I reread the PR again. The Jan Tana's Body Painting Revolution Stage is somewhere in Johannesburg, but may not be necessarily at the Arnold Sports Festival itself. It also mentions that the Jan Tana's Body Painting Revolution is featured globally at ASF venues worldwide.
I reread the PR in regards to EVERx at Arnold Sports Festival. It actually mentioned EVERx is an official sponsor of Jan Tana's Body Painting Revolution featured at the ASF, and that the booth can be found near Jan Tana's Body Painting Revolution Stage in Johannesburg. So,it doesn't look like EVERx is a sponsor of ASF itself.
You're right. I checked the link. The closest thing is a sponser that has a picture of "ALKALINE Water". No EverX.
I'm talking about drop testing the water bottles with the packaging. Go ahead and google "What is drop test in packaging?" or "carton drop test" if you don't know what I was saying.
Anyone concerned about product or packaging quality should consider including a carton drop test, or package drop test, in their pre-shipment inspection plan. It's the smart thing to do.
You would think that every box would be "drop tested" by USMJ/PURA for package integrity before it was picked up by USPS to ship out. Another blunder I guess. Oops!
Yeah. Only those Arnold Festival guys and that Illegal Burger place knows about EverX. And, it's available on the USMJ website (supposedly the "Amazon of Cannibis"), but not many people know that website even exists!
Wow! This is terrible news. Sorry for your loss.
Not only they lost lots of distributors. They have simply put out too many false claims that never came to fruition. There are no longer any announcements of pending M&A talks, and no new private label contracts. Six months have gone by and still no NOUV div distribution. All fluff PRs that reference Starbucks, Chips Ahoy, Nilla Wafers, etc. were extremely stupid and misleadng. Back in the day, there was more hype regarding the Miss USMJ calendar than anything else. They spent a lot of time promoting that stupid calendar instead of focusing on improving marketing and expanding their distributor base. What were they thinking?
Slim chance they get bought up imo. The market for CBD infused water had gotten too crowded, too much competition.
By the way, the yoyo's that continue to pump "PERFECT PURA" and "BUY IT UP" on this board don't help. It shows desperation.
I don't know why it's still in the 0.07's. Life is certainly a mystery!
Why is SP still in 0.07's? Would've expected it to be in the sixes by now. C'mon sixcentsville!
The USMJ website sucks with confusion! It shows 24 packs of unflavored 10mg CBD water with the cheap labels for $71.76 while the 24 packs of the same water with the new labels go for $119. Both show "single serve" without specifying the fluid oz per bottle unless one opens the blurry graphic which shows 500ml! So why would Mr. Customer go ahead and pay $47.24 more for the same water in new label bottles? Looks fishy imo. They should've just scrapped the old bottles, poured the old water into the new bottles and advertise only the new bottles with the higher price!
Granted, Everex may have gone through several iterations of their product, and the new label bottles may have a different, improved, or new ingredients, but the USMJ website fails to explain what those are, if any.
Has anyone ever wondered why Arnold Schwarzenegger was never hired on to be spokesman or celebrity to launch Everex at the Arnold Classic back in 2017, and/or to promote Everex at the later Arnold Sports Festivals? Would've made a difference and we would not be where we are now if this happened imo.
If it wasn't for the Generex contract last year, revenue would've been dismal. I don't foresee any M&A or any new private label contracts this year. SP should go lower. Just my opinion.
I don't trust this stock, company, management, or their fluff PRs. They may have a great product, but recent price action speaks volumes. I don't BUY AND HOLD based on hope. Otherwise, you'll BUY AND FOLD! Sixcentsville is right around the corner imo.
I'm convinced the cheap label bottles on sale on USMJ website are bottles returned by distributors/stores no longer carrying the product. No other way to explain it imo.
The cheaper bottles could also be stock returned to PURA when they lost their distributor(s).
Next stop sixcentsville. One more fluff PR should do it! PURA Ahoy!
Maybe going to nickelsville?
Where's the bottom? Keeps going down. ST high was 0.08 from Jan 30th.
Will this go to the 0.06's? PURRFECT PURA??? BUY IT UPPP??? Geesh!
I agree. Why use old labels? They look cheap. And why regress back to using "throwback labels"? Maybe they couldn't sell all their old stock or use up all their old labels and now the shelf life of those old bottles that didn't sell are approaching expiration, and they need to unload quickly?
Sorry the picture of "throwback labels" on USMJ website and the labels on the first picture in the so-called "store" do not match. Nice try though.
How old are these pictures? The first one shows EVERX with the very old labels. I have doubts that particular store still carries EVERX. As for the other Instagram pictures, they look dated also. Sir, you need to associate a "store name" and a "date" with these pictures. Otherwise, they're bogus.
My local GNC store carries CBD. Walked by the other day, saw a poster on the front window, "CBD Sold Here". So, I go inside, didn't see anything on their shelves, asked the salesman where's your CBD products. He points me to some small boxes, no more than five or six of CBD cream (not HIPH by the way, not surprised either) sitting by the cash register. I then said, "That's all you have? What about beverages?". He said they don't carry CBD beverages, so I left the store.
I agree with ALL of your points. Refreshing to see someone on this board who sees the truth and tell it like it is. Have a nice weekend!
Everex not available at Drug Emporium, OLD NEWS circa 2017. Am I right? Anyone?
Tired of your pumping without substantiation. Where are these so called "SALES ON FIRE"? Care to post a link?
Nothing new here. Reads pretty much like same article sent 6 months ago last November!!! Many shareholders already gave up waiting for the div, abandoned ship.
It's no longer around 0.08 but 0.07 and heading lower towards 0.06 it seems.
What positives are you talking about?? Please list a couple so we can all see. I've had enough of this "BUY IT UP" and "PERFECT PURA" nonsense.
