Hi, Cwoody
That would be great! However tomorrow is May 31st :)
Not sure how new it is, but I don't remember seeing it before.
I also noticed something that was new to me:
"For Technical assistance go to the forum. The forum is moderated by SpoozToolz technical staff and will answer technical questions about building templates and systems. In the forum you will also meet other template developers and users who may share ideas and solutions."
http://www.spooztoolz.com/tech_support.aspx
Under the forums link it says: "Forums coming soon! For more information or to reports issues please use the Request Form."
Thanks, Allie
It really looks like things are starting to happen. It's been a long wait - a stock for the patient, IMO.
Hi, Wing,
I'm not sure what you mean when you say the middleware is a GUI (Graphical User Interface?). I had always thought of it as a behind the scenes piece of programming that did superfast calculations. Is it something that ST users actually manipulate?
Thanks!
Theoretically, the higher the volume, the sooner the dilution will be over, the sooner the pps will strengthen.
Can't imagine too many investors will sell at this stage. Flippers and daytraders perhaps, but it sounds like a lot are investing for the long term.
From www.wallstreetfiance.net
"Wall Street Finance is a financial and investor relations website committed to providing in-depth corporate profiles on publicly-traded companies that help individuals make smart investment decisions"
In the past Paul has mentioned they work with more that one IR organization. This is a new one to me. Stockbroadcasting.com is also featuring Spooz.
Imperial - how much do you suppose the diluting brokers paid per share? What kind of profits are they making selling at 0.002?
Thanks for that info, Fed.
I have always wondered about the mechanism for dilution. I guess it isn't Paul and co sitting at a screen and saying "time to take it down a tick". lol
Questions:
If TT feeds its customers through many (100 or so) smaller brokerages it isn't a regular brokerage. So what exactly is it?
A software platform (similar to Spooz) which allows traders to trade options? If that were the case, will SpoozToolz replace the current interface?
Any help would be appreciated - just trying to get my mind around this.
Thanks very much, String.
Let's hope they don't sell before they build up plenty of value.
GM everyone. I have a question for anyone who went to the meeting. Was anything mentioned about the possibility of a buyout?
TIA!
Thanks, Fed
So when Spooz says it will license non-proprietary trading of SWARM, they will give users access to the same software but not the proprietary math (algorithms) that they are using for their own trading in 141 Futures?
Thanks so much, Wildman!
Very well written, and clearly organized. I appreciate your efforts.
Thanks very much, Fed,
Really appreciate you posting these answers. Did you stay for the demo? If so, what was your impression of how it went over with the audience?
TIA
Songbird
I reckon they are still in the meeting - or perhaps in the reception/demo.
I guess the first reports will be around midnight or perhaps later.
Thanks, Wing. I'm sure there are many of us who will be eagerly looking forward to your report. The more detail the better!
Looking at the schedule, if the meeting starts at 4:00 p.m. followed by a reception and demo, you might be up quite late.
I know there are many who'll be very appreciative of your efforts.
Hi, Wing. So you fly tomorrow morning? I hope you feel ok! Do you have any plans about questions to ask?
Allie,
There's another question for the meeting: Can you say when in June the launch will take place?
Hi, Shinebox,
Reporting of the bid/ask for Pink Sheet stocks is not very consistent from online sources. Only recently have I been able to see live bid/ask for Spooz from my online broker (Fidelity), so don't be surprised if it doesn't show up on yours.
I have recently noticed that a delayed bid/ask is being displayed for Spooz at Pinksheets.com.
For sure, shares are available for purchase - you just need to find a reliable source to find the current bid/ask.
By the way, how do you like Zecco? I have read that commissions are very low, or even free if you have enough in your account.
Best,
Songbird
OK, Allie, here are a couple of questions that I would like to suggest (I'm sure others may have thought of these or similar ones)
1. Spooz has said that starting in April a limited number of "select traders" in the Chigago area have been using ST. What kind of feedback have you been getting from these users?
2. Now you have started using SWARM technology in a real account, is it performing as you had anticipated?
3. Is the SWARM technology going to be available for licensing by other users?
Thanks very much for this, Allie.
It all sounds very promising. We will all be indebted to our shareholder representatives at the meeting taking and sharing notes. It doesn't sound like Spooz has a problem with that.
I recieved this notice in the mail yesterday.
I noticed that Tony Hines is now on the advisory board, whereas earlier he was listed as Chief Operating Officer. Maybe he retired from day-to-day management.
I think the Spooz management, more than anyone else, knows the potential value of the company. I believe they will do all they can to build as much value as possible and build a strong viable company, and then they will be able to negotiate from a position of strength if suitors come calling.
Say, Imperial
You mentioned you had an extensive demo session with Paul -- What's your assessment of SpoozToolz from an "Everyman's" standpoint, i.e. a nonprofessional investor/trader. Did you see features that would attract the more inexperienced?
TIA
Songbird
It's interesting that the ask hasn't moved all day.
Thanks very much, Wing /em
Hi, Wing,
What signs are you seeing that tell you that the float is gone? Is it just a feeling, or are there indicators that give you that idea?
TIA
Songbird
Hi, West
I think the "locals" who have been hanging around here for the past year or so may become the minority before too long. If Spooz makes an impressive splash in the coming weeks and months more and more people will start paying attention and buying in.
Yes, the noise and chatter will increase, but it's a good sign of increased interest. The pps won't move without new blood.
Hi, Allie. I think the rating system is a great idea - I don't know why they haven't done it sooner. It should really help investors who are looking at companies to invest in.
Looks like Spooz is taking good steps towards becoming more transparent.
Yes, Allie, I think so - in the PR announcing the shareholder's meeting Paul said that "Current shareholders and prospective investors alike will be suitably impressed when they witness the tremendous value we have incorporated into such an outstanding product."
Wing,
If the financials are for Q1, I don't expect we'll see any results in there for SWARM as the division started trading April 1st.
New ranking system for Pink Sheet companies (Wonder which category SPZI will fit into)
Pink Sheets to Begin Rollout of Disclosure Categorization Starting May 2007
http://www.pinksheets.com/about/pr_042407.jsp
New York, NY - April 24, 2007 - Pink Sheets, LLC announced today that in May 2007 it will begin the process of categorizing issuers quoted on Pink Sheets based on a company's willingness to provide adequate public disclosure to the marketplace. Initially, each company will be assigned a proposed category, which will be indicated on their Company Info page in the Quotes & News section of www.pinksheets.com. Beginning August 1, 2007, all companies will be assigned a final category and a corresponding icon which will be displayed next to the company's symbol everywhere it appears on pinksheets.com.
All Pink Sheets companies will be placed in either the OTCQX premium tiers (companies must apply to be included) or will be assigned a disclosure category by Pink Sheets, as follows:
OTCQX Premium tiers
PremierQX - The highest tier for U.S. companies. Must meet the continuing financial requirements of Nasdaq Capital Market, provide credible disclosure to the marketplace, and nominate a Designated Advisor for Disclosure (DAD).
PrimeQX - Must have ongoing business operations, a $.25 (cents) initial bid price, provide credible disclosure to the marketplace, and nominate a DAD.
International OTCQX Premium Tiers
International PremierQX - The highest tier for international companies. Must meet the financial requirements of the NYSE's Worldwide Listing standards, be listed on a qualified international stock exchange, provide home country disclosure to U.S. investors in English, and nominate a Principle American Liaison (PAL).
International PrimeQX - Must be listed on a qualified international stock exchange, provide home country disclosure to U.S. investors in English, and nominate a PAL.
Disclosure Categories
Current Information (icon: Pink Checkmark) - Must either be registered with the SEC pursuant to 12(g) of the Exchange Act and current in all electronic filings posted on the SEC's EDGAR system, OR if not registered with the SEC, must meet Pink Sheets Guidelines for Providing Adequate Current Information, confirmed by a quarterly letter from an attorney, all of which must be posted on the Pink Sheets News Service and displayed on pinksheets.com (*- exceptions below). Disclosure is deemed to be current if it is posted within 120 days of the fiscal year ended (annual reports) and within 60 days of the quarter ended (quarterly reports) and interim material events should be disclosed on a timely basis.
*Banks and Financial Institutions - Companies that report to federal or state banking regulators or to insurance commissions will be placed in the Current Information category if they post onto Pink Sheets News Service the same information they supply to their regulator (for example, to the FDIC), in a timely manner. An attorney letter is not required.
*Foreign Private Issuers - Non-U.S. companies that do not furnish electronic reports on the SEC's EDGAR system that are listed on a qualified international stock exchange will be placed in the Current Information category if they post onto Pink Sheets News Service the same disclosure they supply to their home country exchange and to their shareholders, in a timely manner. The disclosure must be in English. No attorney letter is required.
Limited Information (icon: Yield Sign) - SEC registered companies must have posted some disclosure on the SEC's Edgar system within the last six months. Non-SEC reporting companies must have, at a minimum, quarterly financial reports prepared in accordance with GAAP, including financial notes, and certifications by the CEO and CFO and not less than six months old, posted either on Pink Sheets News Service.
No Information (icon: Stop Sign) - The company does not make disclosure publicly available, or its available disclosure is older than six months.
Caveat Emptor/Buyer Beware (icon: Skull & Crossbones) - There is a public interest concern associated with this company, which may include a stock spam campaign or other questions concerning the security or issuer. During a spam campaign, companies that have not, at a minimum, qualified for the Current Information category will also have their company's quotes blocked on pinksheets.com.
More information on the category rollout, including Pink Sheets Guidelines for Providing Adequate Current Information and Attorney Letter Guidelines verifying Current Information, is available on http://www.pinksheets.com/otcguide/categories.jsp.

Hi, Wing,
When you say "educational venues" do you mean public meetings?
OT: OK, this is only indirectly dealing with Spooz -- it is about Excel. Thought it was quite funny. The whole interview is very interesting.
From an interview with Steve Ballmer, CEO of Microsoft:
"There's a great anecdote. Bill Gates, before we shipped Office, sent the team some mail, "Hey, you know, I really love the user interface in the new Excel, but I didn't know you were going to add so many new features." And he listed a couple things he really liked. And they said, "Bill, those aren't new features." (Laughter.) Bill said, "No, I'm an Excel expert. Those are new features." And they said, "No, they've actually been there for three releases." (Laughter.) So, it had features that even an expert couldn't find, and yet they were very discoverable in the new user interface. "

Agreed, Allie.
To me this shows that Paul's commitment that Spooz would become fully reporting is being fulfilled.

A lot of potential for an international presence.
Welcome and congratulations, Milo.
I have to agree with your evaluation of the quality of posts here compared to other places.
From the latest revenue projections PR:
"According to its most recent economic forecast, Spooz expects its total income in 2007 to be $3,271,253, increasing to $29,474,886 in 2008 and spiraling to $102,328,865 for calendar 2009"
http://www.spooz.com/press_details.aspx?ContentID=100
To be precise, there haven't been any PRs since we hit 0.0015. We did have the demo to a few shareholders but that wasn't PR'd.
